Don't Write Down, Printup: The place to go if you are a woman or female presenting and need help with your car!I was raised by mechanics but am hours away from them with beater cars that are not safe to go on the highway to get to my dads for regular maintenance. A few months ago I got a really bad flat on my car, could not move it and did not have a donut. I went to i dont know how many auto shops, trying to find a tool or solution to get my tire off. All of them laughed at me and only gave me numbers for a tow truck. I didnt have the money for a tow truck so as a hail mary I went into a local oreilly's in tears asking for a solution for my tire that did not involve a tow truck. One of the employees immediately knew what to do grabbed a long metal bar for grabbing and a crowbar like item to get the nuts and bolts off and said leave me a form of colleteral like a credit card or id, we'll keep it behind the counter and if this doesn't work you can bring it back and even if it does work, no charge. I left and GOT MY TIRE OFF AFTER A SIX HOUR WILD GOOSE CHASE. Came back this time with tears of joy and bought the tools he let me borrow.Then flash forward a new months and I have a new car. Almost immediately after buying it (not 24 hours) my check engine light comes on. I head to a different auto shop and was told that I was an idiot because i just put my gas cap on wrong. I go ok....but no matter how I turned it that light never went off. So I went to a different oreillys (reason youre seeing this review twice is that im talking about two seperate locations, but they have the same attitude at both so ya know) and they did the doohickey with my engine light. They found out that the most common cure to my problem was an engine pump and that the second course if an engine pump didnt fix it was a new gas cap. Finally got it to the mechanic and they were right! No more engine light.I love the workers at oreillys compared to other auto shops. Oreillys is like a bunch of grandpas and uncles who just want to make each car they help service the safest they can for the road, whereas other auto shops just see women as a cheap sale.Only negative I have about O'Reilly is that they don't have cute or cool accessories, but I would rather have their decent staff over cute bobbles for my car that I don't really need.

Liz Zahm: Very poor customer service. My husband went in to buy an oil filter and stood at the counter for 10 minutes. No one acknowledged him or asked what he needed. Finally ignored him although they waited on customers who cane in after him. Eventually walked out and made his purchase elsewhere. Won't go back.
Pandora Love: Mr. Jagger went above and beyond to help me get my warrantied calipers replaced when other Advanced Autoparts locations didn't have the knowledge or skills to do so. Excellent customer service!

Still way better that they're competition; never got home to find out I have the wrong part or been given wrong information the curiously results in more expensive parts... makes you wonder if some of the other competition pays commission trip there employees, things that make you go hmmm. I will say that the store I called had the battery she wanted, went to the Lincolnway store and it was too close to closing time on a Sunday to drive to the other store. Still very happy with the service I get at O'Reilly's....keep up the good work=keep this customer for all local part purchases.

Gary Mayfield: Went in for some rv antifreeze that their app said they had in stock, walked around for 10 min and didn't see any on the floor, there was only 1 customer at the counter and the rest of the employees seemed like it was party time, dancing around, using foul language and being loud. I have been coming to this location for the last 15 years and can see the decline of customer service. While they usually have what you need, do your research on the part you need and have a part number before going, its much faster that way and more accurate. I did get my rv antifreeze that they had in the back, if it wasn't for me needing it that day I would have left and went somewhere else and wouldn't have asked where is was at because not one person asked if I needed help after wondering the isles for 10-15 min. Over all you can get what you need but this location has seemed to have gone down hill A TON from when I first started coming here.

I came in tonight for a simple gasket and the incredibly rude man child behind the counter was too busy on his phone to talk to me. I know competent employees are hard to find right now, but I will not tolerate rude people refusing to listen. He continued to sit and play with his hair while I left to find polite help across the street. The help at this store gets worse and more lazy with each new employee. I’ll be canceling my advanced auto account.

Kyle Toth: The employees went above and beyond! My Fiancée and I were travelling from Northern Minnesota back to Ohio when I noticed my battery light come on. From experience, I figured it was my alternator. I managed to make the 30 minute drive to the parking lot. The alternator was caked with thick oil. Car wouldn't start back up.I borrowed tools and removed my battery to have them charge it. I purchased a new alternator and used their tools to replace it in the parking lot. One of the bolts was stripped and they had a specialty set of sockets available for purchase. After some "persuasion", I was able to remove the damaged bolt utilizing the specialty bits.By this time, my Fiancée and our cat were dying from the heat. The employees allowed my Fiancée to sit with our cat (in a carrier) inside near the entrance of the store. After a couple hours I had everything reassembled and the battery charged enough to start the car. Made it back to Ohio and, so far, no more problems with the car.Thank you again for all your help!

I can’t at this point say it’s better or worse than any of their direct competitors, which always has a location right next door.Apparently, there’s a low bar to entry for this kind of business because there’s plenty of competition.If I ever find anything that sets one apart from all the rest I’ll revise my review, but so far it all comes down to advertising. As soon as one runs ads claiming they test your battery free, they all do likewise.

As a single woman it's nice that I can stop in there and be served by a beautiful female manager that goes above and beyond!! If you're a single woman this is your place!!!

I went in there with a broken windshield wiper that flew off when I was driving as it was raining and one of the employees stood out there in the freezing cold and wind and installed it for me.
