NA SSI: 로컬 커피집중 정말 단연 최고라고 꼽습니다. 스페셜티 커피집으로..사장님이 라떼 장인이예요. 한국은 원래 커피 맛집이 정말 많아 ..동네에와서 커피맛으로 만족스럽던 곳이 없었는데 이곳은 정말 애정하는 맛이고, 한국에서 온 가족들도 라떼맛이 잊혀지지 않는다고 할 정도예요.차이티라떼는 특히나 잘하는 집 아니곤 쓴맛이 나거나 향료 맛이 강해 실패하기 쉬운데- 코다크롬 카페에서 맛 본 차이티라떼도 정말 끝내주게 맛있어요.요즘 샌드위치 메뉴가 추가되어있던데 조만간 샌드위치 맛보러 갈 생각입니다.사장님이 무척 친절하세요. 가게 위치가 세번째로 바뀐 곳까지 보게되어..뭔가 이 카페의 히스토리를 함께 할 수 있어 기쁩니다. 미셔와카 사우스벤드 카페중 제일 맛있는 라떼집이고 인스타그램을 보면 그날의 뮤지션이 누군지도 보고 카페에 방문 할 수 있답니다.

Tommy Mackey: This place is either an experimental living art exhibit or a pretentious coffee shop. If the former, the live models ought to show more emotion (it's derivative after a while when the scenes continue to play out with little nuance); if it's the latter, the coffee is awful and you better enjoy it as is bc asking for half and half will see you responsible for the ocular muscle the barista pulled.

Taylor Bartley: Cute local coffee shop with decent coffee and a nice interior with plenty of windows and some plants that makes it feel very open. Local art is sold inside which is always great to see. On the down side they have very limited non dairy options (serving only oatmilk) and everytime I go my coffee is always served luke warm (my pet peeve) even when I order extra hot. Other than that it's not a bad experience and I would definitely recommend to pop in and atleast check it out.

John Freitag: This little spot located downtown has a delightful atmosphere and cozy sitting spaces.I personally am not a great judge of coffee but the Dirty Chai Latte I got was absolutely delicious. Everything is reasonably priced and the staff is very attentive and polite.To top it all off there is an awesome mural on the outside of the building. I will definitely be coming back.

Kit: Shares the joint title of being the best coffee shop in South Bend (with Sway Coffee which is two mins down the street)!It makes you feel like you are in a 1970s aristocrat's living room, or your own home. There are artifacts and art pieces for sale throughout the shop as well, which makes it feel like my grandparents' house of which i have really fond memories... The people who work there are really friendly, especially he interior designer and Sarah!

M. O'Connor: I can no longer recommend this place at all. You would think because it's a small business they would care about their employees but both me and my partner got fired at the same time with absolutely no communication or warning. We relied on this job and cared about working here--the owner we worked and bonded with has not looked us in the eyes and we got fired over text! We have been treated with no sympathy or respect. We used to defend this place but no longer can because of how terribly we are being treated.

I'm pretty sure the lady at the register that took our order was new or something because she acted very uniformed about everything. They pretty much was out of most things we asked about. Our table had I can't even tell you how many layers of filth on it. We had to place napkins over the whole table. Floors are dirty, the bathroom tho are by far are worse than any forgot about truck stop.Food wasn't horrible but was good enough to finish, Especially for the inflated price of it. From the cashier not being aware of changes to specials to the kitchen making the wrong food and the manager arguing with me about the food until we looked at the ticket from the kitchen that showed we did in fact order what I said we had ordered.Four of us ate today. Three of the meals came out wrong. Mistakes happen. Not a problem. Arguing with a customer and being rude. That is a problem.As we were leaving, the manager left the restaurant to sit in a car directly in front of the door for a smoke. His car. In 2 hour parking. In a prime parking space for customers.The overall impression I got today was Chicory Cafe's staff is poorly trained by management that just doesn't care and can't be bothered. Such an awful experience.

Conner Balciunas: Lovely new cafe in downtown South Bend! Has a modern feel and vibe, with lots of tables to study or eat at. What I love most about it is that compared to other local cafes in South Bend, Java has a wide drink menu to choose from and has different sizes for drinks👍🏻

Jordan Ray: Stopped in with a coworker the other day who reccomended this place and it was absolutely great. I'm usually a boring regular coffee guy with cream and sugar but Alvin wasn't having any of that (in the best way) I said surprise me and he made me something so delicious I was blown away. Java cafe needs to protect Alvin at all costs, It has been a long time since I witnessed someone who genuinely enjoys what they do as much as he does. Coffee was *chef's kiss* but the customer service is what will probably bring me back
