Jared Bunton: I went and got an eye exam and contacts for my birthday and a few months later I was having issues seeing. Out of one eye(I've worn contacts 16+ years it's happened before due to negligence of eye hygiene). Anyways so I went there to see what was up, and they could not help me there BUT the doctor got on the phone ASAP and got me an appointment with a specialist THAT SAME DAY! (I skippedweeks waiting list) because of the call. The specialist saved my vision had it been 1 day longer t may of not been repairable. So I thank them for playing a huge role in saving my eye. Cornea was scarred from sleeping in my contacts. My fault. Even went back and got the Dr a gift card later

Laura Didonna: This was our first time using Eyecare Express. My mom and I were on our way to another quick eye care place when they decided to call me and tell me they canceled my appointment (after we drove 1.5 hours there). I called EyeCare and they informed me that they would see me immediately and I could just do a walk in. I saw the eye doctor to get my prescription and she was quick and thorough. They were very patient with my mom and I as we were indecisive about which 2 frames we wanted. They stayed with us 5 minutes past closing and took our orders. We came back the next day after noon to pick up our glasses. We noticed that a lense on my mom's glasses was popping out of the frame and they fixed it immediately. We also dropped off sunglass frames to have them made while we went to eat. They even let us share the bogo on our sunglasses. Due to severe traffic we were going to be about 10 minutes after closing to pick up our sunglasses. I called them and they said it was no problem and that they'd have our order ready for us. My mother and I had a nice experience and I am grateful for the kindness they showed. I would recommend them.

Jim Rockford: If you want to look good or are in public often, DO NOT come here for new glasses! Received absolutely terrible lens fitting that is distinctly noticeable. Nose pads also cannot be adjusted or situated because of the lenses not being properly made. When asked about the issue and if everything was correct visually and pointing out the lenses looking like they were put in crooked, was told in a snarky tone by the desk clerk "nothing we can do about it, its already made". No offer to correct and re-cut the lenses or get at least 1/2 a refund for the shoddy quality - nothing at all. Very poorly put together and absolutely no care about quality from this company when you pay over $300 for a pair of glasses that were supposed to be buy one get one free. Beware their one hour service, shop elsewhere.

Pat Hayes: First time we used Eyecare Express. My husband and myself both picked out frames placed our order and picked up new glasses in a reasonable time frame. However, after wearing a few days they felt heavy, so we went back explained our problem to Jennifer. She let us know it wasn't a problem we only had to pay the difference, and she reordered the thinner lens. We picked our new glasses up today had a couple minor adjustments and walked away very happy. Jennifer was amazing with her customer service skills and very knowledgeable about the products.

Ms. Carmen SanDiego: Terrible service. No one seems to know what to do on the front end. The doctor was very unenthusiastic, not knowledgeable and seemed like she didnt want to be there that day. Paid over $300 out of pocket because someone did not do their job and submit my claim to insurance. Ended up having to do a reimbursement form which was time consuming and I'm not even sure I'm going to get my money back. Then a month goes by and I have not heard from anyone so I call to find out where my contacts are and she goes back and tells me that they're ready for pickup?? I asked when was anyone going to call me and inform me that what I PAID FOR was there and she just kind of laughed and told me that she didn't know. Don't waste your time. This place is not one to go to for your eye are needs.

B Base: Do not go here. I purchased 2 pairs of thin feather weight lens. The first time I went to pick the lens up the lens were different thicknesses. The second time they came back they were not the thin light weight lens. The third time they tried and they were double the thickness of my original lens and they said that is the best they could do. Just go online and purchase your glasses.

Josiah Twiddy: The arm of my glasses broke, so I wanted to see if they had any way to fix it. I guess maybe they don't repair glasses there, which is fine, but the only question they asked was, "Did you buy them at Walmart?" It just seems like they could have at least asked to see them or suggested somewhere I could go without my prompting. Not upset, just also not impressed.

Stood there waiting for 20 minutes just to get an itemized receipt for my insurance and there was no one in the Vision Center. I went to the service desk to ask where the person was and after they got done chatting and playing and actually decided to help the customer, another 3 minutes wasted, they said ummm oh there she is she's heading back there now. Where was she you ask, I'm glad you did, she was doing her shopping while she was supposed to be in the vision center helping customers. Worthless people at Walmart!!

I was told for another 300 bucks they could give me the full Vision. Not only that I told them they were to strong. They told me to wear them until my eyes get use to them. Brandy: I was diagnosed with pink eye, wasnt given an antibiotic ,and was told I could go to work with the public & to just practice good hygiene, well I brought antibacterial had sanitizer etcAnd still spread it, for 4 days after.my visit I was beyond miserable and possibly spreading this HIGHLY contagious pink eye , before I got REAL help for my condition. I had assumed anophthalmologist would be best fit for a condition involving the eye, clearly I was mistaken! Font waste your money or time here.

My daughter saw Dr. Mrs. Avena and she was so patient with her as it is her first time needing glasses. She was so empathetic with a teenager needing glasses! The front staff; Amber, Tiffany, Alyssa, Jeremy, Umekia were ALL amazing! I'm not sure I've ever been to any office where the person at the front desk all the way up to the Doctors have been so extremely fun to work with! They helped us stay within our budget (hard to do with four pairs of glasses!), they were fun to be around, and were so professional with everyone who walked through the door. Jack Schnell: I would definitely recommend MyEyeDr to everyone! From the moment I checked in with Abbrinnia, to the moment I left, everyone made me feel like I was part of the family. I had the most comprehensive exam from Dr. Avena who took the time to answer all my questions, as well as made sure I felt completely comfortable about my prescription before I picked out frames/contacts. Umika did a great job during my pre-test by keeping the atmosphere light and fun, while still informative. Alyssa asked me questions to pinpoint my concerns and issues before seeing Dr. Avena, she also was very professional and accurate and made me feel comfortable that she knew what she was talking about. Once I was out of the exam room, Jeremy assisted in helping me pick out frames. I ended up getting both a pair of glasses as well as sunglasses and will be coming back for years to come. My experience was professional, friendly and fun and made me a lifetime customer now that they're keeping me looking great and seeing great too! Kudos to the South Bend team, this team knows what's up!

Dr. Whitney Purtzer is very thorough and I feel confident she will catch any serious problems with my eyes. My prescription is always accurate and I love my glasses. The frame selection is plentiful as I have a narrow pupil distance and can find frames that fit my face here. They will also gladly order the correct size frame to fit your face. My family sees Dr. Purtzer as well and have had thorough eye exams resulting in glasses. They are seeing better now! The service is always on time and I have zero wait time even if I’m early. I appreciate Good Service, Thank you!

Brett Crowe: Ordered glasses $729 waited a month for them to come in. Can only see my phone when I hold it 6 inches from my face. 1 in closer or further away completely blurry. Can see fine far away unless I turn my head I centimeter to the left or right then again completely blurry. They told me it might take awhile for my eyes to adjust. I've worn glasses for15 years and have never had a problem before with much less expensive glasses. Both of my roommates got medicaid glasses from focused. With anti glare and scratch resistance at a cost of $0 extra. I paid and extra $192. I am not at all impressed with focused eye care. I can see better out of my pair of drug store glasses. They simply dismissed my issues but I guess they've already been paid in full so why would they care that I am not at all satisfied not to mention cannot see out if the inferior glasses they sold me. The most expensive and absolute worst glasses I have ever had. And they say you get what you pay for...Ha! Last time I splurge on myself.

Cindy Cumnins: I took a pair of my husband's glasses in that were broken to Stanton Optical where they were purchased and asked them to repair them. After a few minutes they told me that a screw had broke off and in could not be removed. Then I was told I'd have to buy new frames because there was no way to get the screw out. They didn't even attempt to remove the broken screw and said that it was caused by over tightening it. I told her we have never touched, let alone, tightened, the screw. I took the glasses yo Walmart Optical in Niles, MI. A very nice young women greeted me asked how she could help me. I explained what I was told at Stanton. She ssid" I can fix them". Wthiin just a few minutes, she had repaired and cleaned them at no charge.They were repairable but the Stanton employee just wanted to sale me frames. They didn't even come from Walmart yet they were happy to help me. Go yo Walmart!

Johnie Shelton: Went here to get contact lenses and it seemed like they hated their job and just wanted me in and out. The pre examiner acted like he hated his job and was getting annoyed with me. It took nearly two and a half months to get my contact lens order and when I went to pick them up they again handed them to me acting like they were annoyed and wanted me out. They didn’t even call me to tell me any kind of updates on my already late order. My prescription ended up being way off and went to Boling Vision Center and was treated much better. They took the time Stanton should have to make sure I left with the correct prescription and made my visit very welcoming.

At no point do they inform you that their 2/$79 deal with free eye exam only applies to people who basically only need reading glasses until you've already had your eye exam and picked frames. Then you find out the eye exam you've already had which was supposed to be free is actually $95. And the frames that were chosen from the deal section were actually $169. Which didn't even include over $250 for the lenses, because lenses with a prescription higher than readers were needed. They aren't just using a gimmick to get people in the door, they are scamming people. You can't give someone a service and tell them after the fact that they owe over 5 times the amount they were expecting without even warning them it was a possibility. Especially when even if the person rejects the glasses they still have to pay more than the deal amount for the eye exam that just happened.

Mark was top notch! He was very helpful & gave us options instead of being a pushy salesperson. I really appreciated him for how he did his job and interacted with my wife and I. Whoever does the hiring there is doing a great job also. Whoever is in charge of promotions, give Mark a raise. I'm not related to Mark and he didn't pay me to say this, I was just a random costumer who was impressed.

Jordan Mayfield: Going on a month and a half and still no glasses. Purchased the warranty a year ago. Some damage happened, and they sent them out for repair. They tell me 7-10,14 days to receive them. Never showed. You call them, they don't answer the phone. A 3rd party answering service answers. We will submit a ticket every time I call. At least 15 times now. No answers.They tell me it's a shipping issue. Folks, it doesn't take that long to ship. Unless you're getting frames in the store that they can turn around without shipping out. Don't waste your time.However, again, in store, good service.

B Bitch: Do not fill your prescriptions here. They close the pharmacy whenever they feel like it and if your script is a narcotic they cannot transfer it electronically causing the patient to suffer withdrawal symptoms until they either reopen or the doctor office is open to resend script.
Shiloh M: employees are rude. i asked for help finding masks and was told they were “in the back corner” of the store… i asked where exactly and she pointed in a vague direction. didn’t give an aisle number or any details of the products or sections of the store that might be near them. after wandering for a few minutes i found them near the front of the store. when i reached the counter, she very judgementally asked “where are you going that you need to be wearing these anyway?” as if that’s anybody’s business but my own. all i know is if i showed my customers that much disrespect, i wouldn’t have a job.

Mindy Welker: Pharmacy now closes for "lunch" at 1:30pm because they don't staff enough pharmacists. Can't pick up or even drop off prescriptions during this time. Employees/pharmacy staff are rude and snarky when you ask about it. It's not a clean store either. Ive been a loyal walgreens customer for many years and in a few short months of going to THIS walgreens, I will never go back in another one. Transferring all of our many monthly prescriptions elsewhere.

Michele Woody: Was a long time CVS customer and when they stopped being 24 hour, that was enough for me to pull the plug. EVERY time I went thru the CVS drive thru line there was a line of cars. And it simply took forever to get a rx filled. Meanwhile, across the street at Walgreens, there is hardly ever a line, and if there is, it moves along quickly. I also noticed that some of my maintenance rx are free at Walgreen's, not the case across the street. One of my rx is over a$1,000 (before insurance) a pop and the way it is written/dispensed, I could very well be paying that 2x a month but they worked with me to insure that I only have to pay it once. Every employee I have encountered, whether it be in the pharmacy or out on the floor has been friendly, kind & helpful.
Brian Sullivan: The pharmacy is not open 24 hrs. And you can't even get some of the over the counter stuff because they keep it in the pharmacy. They just give you blank stares when you need Advil cold and flu.

M W: I only use this CVS for prescriptions. The wait isn't usually long but there is no drive thru so you have to go in the store. Parking can be kind of hard because it's right next to a busy Martin's. However, there is one woman who works in the pharmacy department that could be friendlier. It's ok here but I think I'm going to switch pharmacies as this one is no longer convenient to my home.

De Y: I love this store!! I have been going to it since it was Osco's and have felt no need to change. The staff and I are old friends, we know each other by name, and they make me feel important whenever I enter the building. There is one part-time employee who even tells me a funny joke whenever I see him there. From the pharmacist to everyone else who works there, they are all abundantly helpful and kind. I love the bargains and the bonus bucks! My 4 year old grandson calls it "Our CVS" and it is! There is never any need for me to go to Walgreen's, Walmart or any other place when I can get all I need here.

Chance Peregrine: Would give zero stars if I could. My partner was trying to pick up his medication but they kept refusing to give him the correct medication, despite insurance double checking and even confirming that he was approved for the prescription they were refusing. Not to mention they were consistently misgendering him, despite his legal name being a masculine name. We tried to get it sorted out over the phone, with insurance on the line as well, and the technician hung up the phone. The insurance company was absolutely baffled by their ignorance and how rude they were to someone just trying to get their medication.

I said, by he got a text saying they were ready. She says, well, they need to be approved & rolled her eyes, shut the door and walked away. Absolutely horrible woman! There was no need to act like that.

Jack Ransbottom: Wow is all I can honestly say about the pharmacy dept. I had a prescription called in on Monday, Dec. 20th from St.Joe hospital when I was there overnight for A-Fib. I went there 3 different times that afternoon to get my prescription for a blood thinner. They said it was still in process. I told them I would be back the next afternoon. I went there at 5 this afternoon and was told it was still in process. I told the clerk I was there 3 times the previous day and got told the same thing. The clerk said she would check to see if they could expedite it. I waited for close to 10 minutes while she helped other customers. She finally came back and said they didn't have the medication. I left there pretty disgusted which leads me to this review. If I could give them less than 1 star I would. Very, very incompetent pharmacy! I should have learned from the previous 7-8 years I've went there. They were always the absolute slowest even before covid. You folks really need to shape up. You're extremely pathetic! I may call the manager tomorrow...not that I think it will do any good.
