AJ CALABRESI: Last year I brought a 2017 Toyota Corolla and my interest rate was 10% with Wells Fargo bc of me rebuilding my credit. I just traded that car in for an SUV and Community Wide FCU gave me a lower interest rate. I work hard and appreciate them financing my 2020 Kia Sportage S. I live in Indiana, so it's nice to have a lender in Indiana.Thank you Community Wide FCU for helping me get into a vehicle that is safe and my favorite color 😀 not to mention the panoramic sunroof and heated seats.

Dominique Springs: This is an awful place that hires awful people. Yolonda and her team in the collections department are terrible. I asked to be transferred multiple times and no one will help me understand my loan. Yolonda was so concerned about an address. I hate this place so much. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

Cody Diment: Going to be closing my account here very soon. Been with this bank just a little over 6 years. I’ve had direct deposit with them for all of that time so you see a steady paycheck coming in every week. About 3 years ago I applied for a loan to purchase a vehicle. I had to call several times to get anywhere on it and ended up denied. I understood my credit wasn’t great but was willing to accept a larger interest rate due to so but they didn’t offer anything. Fast forward to present day and I tried again for a small 4,000$ loan that I have more than enough ability to pay for. Been working on my credit and got it into the strong 600s pretty proud of it so I thought they denied it once again. I’m going to do business with some other credit union besides them there atms are outdated and I can’t do mobile deposit. Not to mention I had a vehicle back then 6 years ago that was in litigation due to dealer fraud (sold it to me with no title) I spent time making the payments and the dealer said I had not been. They wanted to repo the car to hide their mistake. As soon as I got this bank they gave them my info and my car was taken that I was current on. Now without the proof of the vehicle and dealer plate they gave me illegally I lost the case and ended up having to pay for a vehicle I no longer had. I am disgusted with this bank and it’s business practices.

lori ward: I got an auto loan, tried to get my husband's name on my savings account. They wanted to do a credit check to do so. Tried to sign in online and was told to call and give my email address to them in order to do so. Called and they need something signed in order to add email address. Everything I need to do has been met with opposition. Stick with Teacher's Credit Union. They are very accommodating. I will be transferring my loan elsewhere.

David Thomas: The online service really needs work. The method in which loan payments are made is not intuitive, and when I actually try to use it correctly, the service will not take payments during weekends or holidays. However, the payment method through by debit card will always work, and naturally there’s always a service charge. I’ve also been told in the past by management that they would refund the service charge one time, but that never happened.Granted, these are minor things, hence my three stars. However, your site shouldn’t be this asinine to operate. One should just be able to click “pay loan” and automatically select the method of payment. Also, when I get a verification code for login, I could really care less about a long winded letter about safety from your CEO with EVERY single notification text message. I just want the code—a short sentence should suffice.Seriously, hire better web developers. There’s a ton of good options out there.

One person says one thing, then I’ll call and ask someone else, and get a different answer. I like banking here, but I’m thinking of changing because of the poor attitude by some of the staff at the Lincoln way location and the Ireland location.

B B: Have been very please with my car loan through them until it came to a few disputed charges of double payments within the same month. My own bank ended up helping more then this union. Was not pleased with the service and charges that were made within the first few months of my loan.

H A.k: I've had a savings account here since my teens, I'm now in my 30's and I've never been so put off by this credit union. Kathy, when one your tellers (Katelynn) forgets to have an account holder fill out a necessary form in order to open a checking account resulting in them having to come back, be completely misunderstood on what they wanted causing another employee to come out of their office to clarify the account holder's request after over hearing the exchange.... only for you to still get it wrong, a simple apology would go a long way.I brushed off the fact that Katelynn caused a discrepancy in my account and her drawer by withdrawing an incorrect amount that was requested only to call me back the next day after she realized her mistake and me having to track down the already deposited funds. Or that in the past, tellers have deposited my whole paycheck in a stranger's account as well as made multiple unapproved withdrawals from said account because they didn't double check who's account they werebin. After today though, Teacher's Credit Union sounds so much more appealing.In conclusion to all of this mess, it was discovered that I never even needed to fill out said form. Due to a mistake on the credit unions end, they didn't have the debit card I've been using for over 2 yrs listed on my account. And instead of Katelynn communicating this info, she instead had me fill out a debit card request form and explained nothing....

Much more complicated with my larger bank.Great for loans, friendliness and service.Small draw back is there cards are not internationally recognized everywhere, so travel with a s3cond option.
