M W: Used to be Aldi was a junk grocery store. Its different now. They actually have some pretty good food at great prices. The middle aisle has all kinds of stuff you didn't know you needed. It's worth a try to save a few bucks.

A lot of people criticize young people for their work ethic and their attitude, however this young person was great to work with. I also appreciated having help finding a few things . It was a little rough because it was in the evening and there were a lot of things that people had cleared the shelves.

Their avocados and zucchini are always very tasty!The prices are increasing like everyone else's. It was only 50 since more to get one and a half dozen eggs at Kroger than it would have been to get one dozen eggs here. Their cheese selection is varied and their hummus is good.If you're looking for an amazing chocolate bar, my husband and I both recommend the Choceur Milk Chocolate with hazelnut spread. They're made in Austria, and are light years better than American chocolate bars.
Jim Miller: They make you pay for the grocery bags and they don’t even make it in the house without ripping. My groceries end up in the back seat of my car and the floor or my garage. If your going to charge for them at least buy real grocery bags.😡😡

Brian Martin: I like shopping at Aldi better than anywhere else BUT it's family competitor Trader Joe's!! Fresh produce always, great prices and friendly faces. Only thing is when they have sale items advertised they should get enough of them to not run out after the first few are bought. Not the stores fault that cooperate only passes out a few to each store but it needs fixed. I wish they'd do market research on how many special items sell and if it's a good sale then make that item permanent but sadly that isn't the case

Kory: This little Italian boutique is awesome. They can be a bit pricey, but they have quite a few things you can’t find anywhere else in the area. Check out their homemade HUGE meatballs in their deli counter. There is adequate off-street parking on the property.

Cheeses, sausages, pastas, olives (try the pitted Castelvetrano olives, omg!), sauces, bottled sodas, wines, tea, clotted cream, pastries, breads, jams, fresh fruits and veggies, and everything else you didn't even know you wanted. Go to Bamber's.Edit: Visit their deli counter! There's a wide variety of ready to go salads, sides, entrees, and desserts! I got Sicilian Arancini and a fresh loaf of sourdough bread. Yum!

I bought the “shoppers value” syrup and it was like water with absolutely no flavor. I had a bottle of Pearl Milling syrup that I compared the shoppers value syrup to, its pathetic how bad the syrup is. I’m literally throwing this stuff away. Terrible.

Shohel Wahid: Relatively a small store with over priced stuff! You can buy same things from Walmart with 20% less price. I felt like they are pretty much taking advantages of being one of few grocery store close to University of Notredame.They call it "super market", despite fact that they don't have that diverse section of things to call it a super market. It's mostly food and basic household items.But I have to admit their produce section have fresh stuffs. Also quality products in deli and bakery section. Still feel those are also over priced!

Peter Pajakowski: I'm with the South Bend Fire Department. We had a big fire, right next door to the grocery store on New Year's Day, which was cold, sleeting, and windy. We were there for hours, and the owners of the store welcomed us inside to warm up, and gave us free coffee and cappuccino. They were gracious, friendly, and really helped make a long, wearisome incident a little bit better.I'd been to the grocery store once or twice, many years ago. Clearly these are new owners, because the store looks much, much nicer. It was much cleaner, better organized, and better supplies than I've seen it.

Austin Reas: When I tried to place an order at the deli this evening, the woman working was clearly trying to avoid me. I was standing in front of the case trying to get her attention, and she kept walking and looking around as if she was trying to not make eye contact. When I finally did order, I placed an order for two paninis with sauce. I got home and both sauces were wrong. It was soaked into the bread so I couldn't scrape it off. Because I live close, I decided to go back and get the correct order. The lady had cleaned up the panini case and was again pretending to not see me. The time was only 7:45. I spoke with someone that looked liked a manager, and she said they sometimes clean up early, even though the deli says it is open until 8pm. I wouldn't have even came back if I thought the deli would be closed early. She told me she could help me with a return of the paninis though. So now I am left with no sandwiches after two trips to Martin's. This is ridiculous. You need to make them write down the sauce because this lady has messed up this way too many times. Also, if the deli is going to close before 8, do not make the hours open until 8. This just makes people waste their time.

J Lindsey: I had some items that were priced incorrectly from the meat dept and didn't have a basket, I asked the cashier if I could just leave the items in the bag since I had to go back to the meat department, and when I came back I'd pay for everything. Instead of answering me like a normal human being, she just takes the items from me, gives them to a coworker whom STILL brings them back priced wrong. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, or apologizing to me about the wait she chuckles, and just leaves me waiting on someone to come correct the issue that never even acknowledged her call. Then she comes up with a hand calculator and shows me a number and just expects me to go with it, and then treats me like I'm being problematic
