Silvaster: Made a mobile order, took my money, and when I got there said they didn’t receive my order. I asked them if they would process a refund since my card was still charged. They said they can’t because they don’t have my order. So I lost my 7$ and got no food. The staff didn’t even look like they wanted to work from the drive through window. I’ll be going to talk to the manager the in the morning and see if I can get my refund.

The person that handed out the food was very rude. I asked for extra napkins as I had kids with me and you would have thought I asked for her paycheck.I think we should have been paid to be there. Well when we went to a's another McDonald's by the same franchise corporation on McKinley in Mishawaka They had no problem making a brand new one of whichever flavor my wife would like because they no longer carried the peppermint coffee, however they apologize profusely for the mess up an embarrassment from this location and promise that if we were to switch to their store we would never have that issue and since we have a, we have not had any issues. The daytime manager was extremely nice and accommodating and fixed another restaurant's problem but wasn't her issue to begin with and she did it with a smile on her face happy to do so no questions asked make sure I enjoyed my drink before I left and I call her name I cannot remember it I think it was Debbie or Kim either way great job McKinley McDonald's in Mishawaka you've got AA plus old story You can 8 plus plus gold star

We were the only ones in the drive thru very early in the morning and the person taking our order got it incorrect despite repeating it to us (we ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches but only received 2 - but we only got charged for 2 sandwiches so we didn't go back to get the 3rd one because we were on a fairly tight schedule). The QTR-lbs'er was inedible, burned to a crisp, dried out, and the cheese had been microwaved into a disgusting reminent of bubbles and powder. Bun was hideously dry and crumbling. Needless to say we didn't eat it. I didn't go back for a refund since we purchased through the McDonalds app since we were traveling and McDonalds Corp App makes you go back to the store for refunds. The only saving grace to keep 2 stars was the fries and nuggets. It's sad that so many McDonalds in South Bend are awful in either service or food.

Unfortunately that doesn't say much for this location since the other three had horrible burgers. I will write individual reviews for the other three. We ordered curbside through the McDonalds app. My only complaint was the friendliness of the person who brought our food out. God forbid someone making $12+ an hour be pleasant, might as well chucked my food through the window and say #*@! off. I will wrap up with a note about my McDonalds reviews, if the food is as expected from a McD's location, I give 3 stars. Only the "creme of the crop" get 4 stars, and 5 stars is reserved for extraordinary McDonalds locations.

The lady that served me at the second window had made a coffee already for me then I was told they didn’t have the kind I liked. I asked if I could get a shamrock shake instead and she gave me both and also gave my four toddlers a cup of ice cream for the inconvenience. What a blessing, thank you Dawn!

Veronica Martin: I went through the drive-thru and I purchased two of their new chicken, the individual who took the order did not inform me that I had a 7 minute wait. I seen other individuals being served and I was confused so I went in to inquire, she was rude and I told her you didn't inform me of that, for some reason individuals think that they can disrespect customers, and treat us as if we have no value. We are the one spending the money, if we didn't visit your business they wouldn't need your help. Your attitude is helping them to replace you with a robot. You need to get a better attitude in a kinder disposition about yourself, because robots are coming to your industry real quick, just check they're already using them in some McDonald's in the USA.

Kory: Found a bloody bandage in my McGriddle once, AFTER I bit into it. It was literally in my mouth being chewed when I noticed it. I complained, got a call from someone in corporate, and they basically just said sorry. After they “investigated” (🙄) they didn’t see anything on camera, so I guess the bloody bandage just appeared somehow, cooked *into* the sandwich, after it was already in my mouth. It was an absolutely disgusting experience and I didn’t get so much as a gift card. At least the franchisee sounded sincere when he called to apologize, unlike corporate. The point is, if you care about quality or basic hygiene for the people preparing your food, stay way far away from this particular location. Horrible. Sorry for the gross photo.

Tracey Pleasant: I had to give atmosphere a one star as I visited from out of town, I was expecting to sit down with my passengers I was driving for and watch the sunrise before getting back on the Michigan highways, the location dining room was closed: BUMMER! I believe this stop would have been the perfect travelers peace. The food went above my expectation, it was delicious. Textures taste of food and multiple orders with SPECIAL REQUESTS (English Muffin no egg steak and onions slice of cheese and hash brown) were handle with intelligence and not messed up at the pick up window, service at the drive thru was great. Five stars for this McD's!
