Wesley Hedden: Outstanding library. They have free passes for local attractions. Extensive play and recreation areas for kids of all ages. Excellent multilingual selection of books for kids and adults. Solid multimedia collection. Local history section upstairs is a great resource on Michiana, Indiana, and the Midwest. They got rid of late fees too. The library is a community gem, especially during the long winters.

Lovelyy V: Very nice and renovated library. Employees are very kind and helpful. I like that they have different sections for different age groups. They have an arcade and a cafe that offers variety of drinks and bakery items. You can also reserve study rooms. They have a courtyard, auditorium, and a ballroom. Nice place to come and read books or bring your little ones to play in the play area.

Alan OBlenis: Beautiful Library, today was voting November 8th stood outside in the morning for a half an hour in the cold then inside for about 25 minutes before I got a chance to vote. Not sure why with all the empty schools they couldn't have used one of their gyms. I was a building engineer for 17 years they always used my school. Voting was nice and orderly. I hope everyone got out to vote and had a great day.
Angela V: The staff are beyond friendly and personable! It's super clean, quiet but not so quiet that you feel if you drop a book you'll be side eyed. The little kiddo play area is super cute and looks like it'll keep kids entertained for awhile! I learned that if you are a library card holder you can use their private rooms for non-profit meetings for free which is pretty awesome as well. Over all - pretty great place to be!

Sherry Breland: These are the NICEST librarians! I remember this as my "happy place" as a child. And now I've moved back into the neighborhood I couldn't wait to get a new library card and come back. They helped me look into programs (like the free lead testing). They helped me with paperwork and copies. So proud to teach me all that's available now. I excited about some of the classes available. So much has changed and all for the better! I HIGHLY recommend this branch to make you feel welcome and help you. They have me excited to go see the renovated main branch too!! I bringing a couple old-timers with me to see it and talked them into getting cards while we're there!;

ImQuackers the Totally Quackers: My first visit to this location awestruck me.Tolkien, C. S Lewis, and A. A. Milne are represented on children's tables here. The stories include iconic scenes such as the window from Tolkien's Hobbit. There's a tower-dime painted for the kids. The sundial uses your own shadow. Check it out.

Brodda, one of the library assistants was very rude. I asked her a question and she responded in a nasty rude tone. I always come here to study but now I will be looking for a more welcoming library.

Susan Dampeer: I used to love this library until they added a giant gate to discourage visitors. Every time I go to Meijer I am sad that I can no longer stop by my local library. I now happily use the welcoming ironwood branch.

Shekima Cropes: One of the best branches imo. Always quiet, clean and orderly. Staff is always eager to help. The reading nooks by the window overlooking the greenery are the best.

LaVon Thomas: Another branch that I use in Indiana allows the patrons to scan, fax, and copy, your own documents, and pay using the vending machine. I had to only occasionally need help. Although the systems are identical, the librarians at the Western branch do those tasks for me, and they never seem to mind.

Today I went in with no library card and the librarians were super helpful. In under fifteen minutes I had a card and the books I was looking for. Highly recommend!

They respect everyone's privacy and that is why I love this library even though the downtown location is closer to my residence. Used to work for Dana Labrum at the Centre Township Library back in the day. Think she works here, but not sure. Would be good to see her again. A very pleasant/nice/great person!

I discovered that this branch is right down the road from my house, which is really convenient. Both women that I dealt with at the desk were really nice. The woman who helped me get my card was really informative which I liked. It is really bright and clean on the inside!
