However, given a choice, I will always deal with K-Wood!I'm a firm believer in that you get what you pay for. This place is a gold mine to me. Anything I need, they can get it. Any question I have, they can answer it and throw ideas at me as well for things I didn't consider. It's to a point now where they know what I want or need even before I do!You don't get personalized service at the big stores- no immediately asking to help you, and in the big stores, you are dealing with a lot of clueless people that work there, and even though they might have been in a department a long time, they can still not know what they are talking about and are offended if you question their views- based on making sales.K-Wood's goal is quite obviously to please the customer, first and foremost. There's been more than once occasion where they could have sold me higher priced items and I would have been clueless, but they sold me what I needed instead. That says a lot about this friendly group of people, all hard working and aiming to please.I will always deal with local businesses before the chain stores if I can. I need them and they need the customers to support them so they will always be there for me.I appreciate them and their patience with me- all of them!

Sure, go there and see if you can get a deal on stuff you want or need. But you won't be able to make it a complete shopping trip. And don't drive a long way to get here. You'll waste your gas.

Self checkout isn't the best option for elderly people with full shopping carts. When the lines are longer than 5 customers, at 11:00 a.m., during spring break, heading into Easter.... Laken Rhodes: Nobody cares about this location any more. It's closing in April. Every Tuesday they are marking items less and less. I only went there to do some extra curricular shopping. Nothing I absolutely needed, just wanted. Get stuff while you still can. And even if it doesn't work out, you can always return at another location. So shop on, buy em out, and get your money's worth!

Everyone else was very rude, even the manager when I spoke with them about the problem I was having. Said to the door greeter that it was the worst customer service I had experienced at Walmart and he laughed and said that's why we are closing.

James T: This location is conveniently located right next to a Lowe's! All the signs say no tractor trailer parking but they will let you park if you're just there to go shopping. I parked on the side of Lowe's facing Aspen Dental Clinic and BW3!It is easy in and easy out with an 18-wheeler, 👍👍👍 also directly to the right is Texas Roadhouse. Plenty of food places here. If your cell service is through T-Mobile and Verizon their stores are right next to each other.Menards is behind Texas Roadhouse about a hundred yards behind.

The everything bread from the bakery is great, and so has a lot of toppings (unlike a couple of other nearby grocery stores).Very few checkouts that are not self-checkout, but that seems to be becoming the normal with other stores as well, so not a big surprise.The parking lot has some very large potholes, but there are plenty of cart corrals and the lot is well marked.

The staff is generally friendly and helpful.I visited before Christmas to buy some of the Marks & Spencer food items they were carrying this year. Ramona Eppler: We were at this Target yesterday and spent over $200 in items for our daughter who was moving back to her college dorm.When we got back to the dorm we realized we had inadvertently left one of our purchased bags at the self-checkout lane.We tried over and over to call Guest Services, but no one was answering....so we drove back to the store to see if any honest person had turned in our bag.When we spoke to the agent at Guest Services we were told that since no one had turned in the bag we could re-gather our items and would not be required to re-purchase these items.Wow!! That is an AMAZING policy and we were ever so thankful for this.(As it turns out, we were able to find our bag at the self-checkout lane. An honest person had indeed turned it in there, so the attendant had our purchased bag.)Thank you, Target, for this amazing policy of permitting us to re-gather our items and not having to re-purchase! It saved us a lot of anxiety!And thank you, Honest South Bend Shopper, for turning in our purchased bag of items!
