Edward Edward: Stopping by this DTSB South Bend venue always brings a smile to my face. The lights bring additional focus to the East Race water way. It is marvelous to see the development in the area, including the new water turbo system that Notre Dame has installed to reduce the Universities carbon footprint. Beautiful and innovative!

Jennifer Heldring: It was beautiful!! Unfortunately the gates were locked around 9pm and we couldn't find a place to get in and see the 3 pillars. It also looked like a lot of the Riverwalk was under construction. There was parking directly across the river from the art museum but we didn't know until later. There are ramps to get down to the river and it's not that steep. Fun experience! Will have to go back when construction is finished for full access though

While I get that it was under construction, even the areas that weren't were not really very impressive despite the positive reviews that were left by other visitors. Marshall Robinson: Surrounding establishment’s parking lots will leave it only accessible by the hike and bike trail.AM General has it’s own two parking lots: one on the north; and the other on the south sides of it’s building.There was access to Seitz Park from Colfax Street on a drive all side the shirt factory apartments .The new apartments being built next door turn the drive and the parking lot private.The only access to parking is a lot accessible from Hill Street between AM General’s south parking lot and one on the north side of the Emporium, which is all to often closed for Emporium events.It is honorable park with a vibrant view of the downtown’s skyline.Right now, the park is under construction due Notre Dame’s hydroelectric damn - darn near two years.It will be tourist attraction that will rival any spectacle in town.It is on a peninsula in the Saint Joe river in the Heart of South Bend.

Kelly Gaylord: From rustic barns to riverside trails, and the river ramble play area (very unique, hands on park for adults and kids alike to hang out and explore!), St Pat’s County Park has something fun for everyone!! In particular the barns were super cute for some artsy shots with friends and to walk around and enjoy the pretty flowers.The hiking trails are very pleasant and even get a little hilly as you approach Bertrand Park. They are admittedly not well marked—I wandered from St Pats into Bertrand park (technically in Michigan) without even knowing it. I loved all the greenery and flowers blooming all over during the spring.Definitely visit this park, it’s so lovely!

Plans for a new Kennedy Park are underway. DLZ Corporation presented initial concept plans to the public on Tuesday, January 10.
Kennedy Park, located at the corner of Olive St. and Westmoor St., includes the Kennedy Water Playground, a public restroom, walking trails, baseball diamond, basketball courts, playground and open play areas. This zero-entry water playground is geared for toddlers through elementary aged children. 18 inches at it’s deepest point, it’s perfect for children to come play in the water.
Reservations to the Kennedy Water Playground can be made upon arrival. Concession stands are available inside Kennedy Water Playground and outside food and beverage (non-alcoholic and non-glass) is permitted. Dogs are not permitted at Kennedy Water Playground during the summer season. However, Drool in the Pool will take place on the closing day of Kennedy Water Playground. The date for this pup-friendly event is September 4, 2023.
Get unlimited access all Summer long to Kennedy Water Playground! Check out our pool pass options for both individuals and families.
A full court basketball court and a modern playground were installed at Kennedy Park in Summer 2016. The playground features a 360-degree playable design allowing kids to use every inch of the Explorer Dome. The Rotary Club assisted in finishing the basketball courts after a neighborhood resident approached the Rotary Club seeking assistance with the project. A new pavillion is also planned.
Addition of pavilion structures, additional grills and picnic surfaces are to be incorporated.
Removal of 1 court. Restriping courts to include both tennis and pickleball

Emily Crisler: Expensive for what it is. We swam for about 5 minutes before they decided to close early because the “chlorine levels were off”. Also, very ghetto area. Parking lot had people blasting very loud vulgar music and broken glass everywhere.

Susan Kirkpatrick: My daughter and I were there 7-15-22 and the woman at the payment window was the RUDEST person ever.Clearly doesn’t enjoy her job and she was thoroughly annoyed that we showed up at 11:15 am and she had to take a break from eating her lunch. Licking her fingers and picking her teeth as she took my information before entering the little park. Definitely don’t want to go back and encounter her again

Price is fairly reasonable... Cost Under 2 free ages 3 - 10 is $4. ages 11 and up $5 a person... BONUS - THEY DO ALLOW FOOD & DRINK TO BE BROUGHT IN!! ... There is a Concession Area that offers Drinks, Cotton Candy, Candy and Chips.. There is a Cute Little Park outside the fenced off water park...
