4worldlovers: We had an excellent experience and will definitely be returning. The only downfall was the variety of food and then the spoiled milk that was in the fridge. We very much enjoyed the stay despite the breakfast experience.

I give this hotel a five star review just awesome recommend to anyone I'm definitely staying at this hotel when I'm in south bend kids loved it.

We decided to pull into South Bend on our way to Cleveland and check out the town mostly Notre Dame University. The hotel had very large rooms which was a pleasant surprise for a last-minute decision. They were a little short staffed, so the rooms were short on amenities but when I went to the front to get them, they said they were in the dryer and they would have them to me within 15 minutes and they did.

How about better security and not giving someone else my room close to midnight?

Glad the front desk and management at all Marriotts are not like the staff at this hotel. Assigning another guest my room close to midnight without assuring that room is available is a major problem. Because they allowed another guest to come in my room while I was in bed after 11pm is enough reason for me never come back. The fact that the staff did not seek to care tells me they would not do anything to prevent this from happening again. Im glad it was me and not my wife traveling solo. You did very poorly with this, Marriott.

Messaged hotel ahead for top floor quiet area was told no problem well that didnt happen had to wait to ck in while receptionist ck’d the mail

After coming back to hotel and getting under covers no TV called down and she gave instructions how to fix after 30 mins of trying called again with no offer to come help just said we had to move if we wanted TV so in my PJs we packed up and moved and it was a handicap room not as nice as our original but TV worked

Kids running hallways and banging on doors for quite awhile had to call down for that and she said they were aware and working on it

So sad to say pry wont stay here again it was one of the worst Marriott experiences we’ve had

Check-in was easy and fast and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! Our room was very clean and spacious - the mini fridge and microwave came in handy because we were on a road trip with a cooler full of food! Their partnership with West Elm made the room look and feel very updated and elegant- the sofa was also a trundle bed! We were just passing through but being so close to Notre Dame would be very nice if you were visiting for the school! The breakfast was hot and had a good variety- even had oat milk!

Poor. Had to wait til 6pm for my rooms then one of the rooms were dirty. Hair from shave was in the sink. Pulled the cover back on the bed and the sheets were dirty. Floor was dirty in the bathroom. Was given a new room.
