Nikki: Great place.45 minutes total.Drinks. Appetizer. Meal. Refills.
toni patrick: Ordered hibachi steak . The fried rice came out and I took a bite and immediately spit it out it tasted so bad like mold and sour i wanted to get sick . I smelled it to be sure and could even smell the mold sour in it . The waitress says they make the rice fresh which wasn’t what I was expecting to hear . My fiancé paid for the meal and I didn’t eat it . Never will I go back again.

Reese Ree: Make a reservation if you plan on going on the weekend. Atmosphere is very nice, staff is friendly and the food is amazing. My partner who claims to not like sushi loved it.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Coconut Shrimp, Malaysian Pineapple Fried Rice, Sushi Rolls …More
Michelle Karl: We had the ginger salad, it was great! We also loved the amazing roll, the beauty and beast, and the ohana (peanut butter) rolls!!They were amazing! I have never had a roll with peanut butter before and was slightly skeptical but it was very good. The beauty and the beast was a bit spicy but worth it.Don't forget to finish off your meal with the banana boat or fried ice cream!
Katie L: Surprisingly Horrible Meal and Service: 2 hours later - starving and traumatizedAfter many recommendations my husband and I decided to try out Woochi as our rare date night dinner. We were initially pleased being seated right away in the bar room without a reservation. (there was a show at the Morris and they looked to be busy but not packed, the “no wait” continued for the extensive time we ended up at the location) Once we were seated our waitress swung by with waters and a smile saying she had tables ahead of us and would be back for our drink order, 15 min later she returned – we decided to order everything and wanted to avoid any possible delays after arriving hungry. We ordered edamame, a boston roll and a spicy tuna roll as starters, then pad thai and udon noodle soup as mains. After 45 minutes we asked for an update needing something to eat and our patience running thin, we were told it was coming. Another 15 minutes after that we were told our meal would be “comped and sorry for the delay”. We were then bought two incorrect sushi rolls, we mentioned they were incorrect and the waitress argued they were right. Another waitress came over, confirmed they were indeed incorrect and whisked them away. My husbands soup was then brought out with the correct rolls. He was encouraged to eat because mine would surely be coming shortly, he struggled with the dish saying it was cold and bland. My meal did not come shortly, it never came at all. I had to flag down the waitress who now was avoiding us to ask if my food would be coming, she told me “no probably not, do you still want food?”, yes we came hungry and I am starving, “ok ill have to re-ring it in, do you want to pay for it?”. At this point I was so surprised by the entire experience I just asked for anything, anything to go so that I could eat something. She returned with a brown paper bag and a managers visit to the table. We were apologized to for the experience and assured we would not be charged. Between the awful service and the food either being wrong, cold, tasteless or not arriving at all, it was exhausting being there and ruined our very rare time out. 2 hours we wasted here. The meal didnt cost us anything yes, but it did cost us 2 hours in a babysitter and our sanity for the night. This was the worst dining experience I have experienced since before the pandemic. I would never recommend this restaurant, in fact I would advise against it.
Kara Reel: Love this restaurant. Anytime we are wanting Japanese and are in South Bend it is our go to spot. I have been wanting Udon like crazy and got mine with shrimp and chicken. It was delicious. We got the King Kong roll to share, it was soooo yummy! The sushi is always spot on. My husband got the beef Ramen and said the broth was super flavorful but the meat was really fatty so he was a bit disappointed by that. Our friend got the pad Thai and potstickets and said his meal was good too. He shared the potstickers they were very flavorful and moist. We will definitely be back again.
Dawn Marie: I went to woochi fusion last night before a show at the Morris. We had reservations for 6:15. We got right in around 6:10.Sad to say nobody came to take our drink order for ten minutes. We ordered two mic ultras. It took another ten minutes to get the beers. We ordered an appetizer, pot stickers, and they came out fairly fast and they were tasty. We then ordered our entrees.I ordered the hibachi steak and shrimp.I'd never been to woochi before and the only other Japanese food I've had was at Hana yori. So that is how I compared. The rice and veggies were pretty good. The steak was a huge disappointment. It was supposed to be medium rare but it came out nearly well done and it was not even luke warm. It was almost cold. Yuck. The shrimp was warmer and much tastier than the steak. The steak and shrimp comes on top of a giant lettuce leaf. I would rather it come without the lettuce.I assume it's for looks. But it's just in the way when you're trying to cut your steak chunks, and it just looks all slimy and wilted.I can't say I'd be excited to go here again, but I would go back for a second try.I wish the tables weren't so packed together. It reminded me of a school lunchroom. It was loud and everyone can hear your conversation and you can hear theirs. If I had a choice between woochi and Hana yori, I'd pick Hana yori.

Melissa Miller: Floor Manager Stephanie made this experience very unpleasant. She interrupted our waitress 3 times when taking care of us. Stephanie was very pushy to get customers out, telling staff this table needs to pay and go, or that table. Running around like they were super busy when it was steady. Being rude to her staff like a drill, Sargent.Had we not experienced her demanding, I would not be saying this.I get it. Other customers have reservations, etc.. but don't make your staff tell already dining customers to leave when they're not even done. 🙄My husband talked to another manager to express the above and to inform that our waitress was so pleasant that she did not deserve the rudeness from Stephanie.Overall, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was ok if we didn't see the demands.

Amber: Never have I been so happy eating a meal! I just moved back after living in Korea for 10 years and have missed the food so much. This restaurant is owned by a Korean family and the sushi and sashimi here are high quality and super fresh, comparable to the quality I can find in coastal Korea. How can the fish be this fresh in Indiana!? Definitely hit the spot and I think I can live here again as long as this place exists 💕 can't wait to try their Korean dishes too.I read in some of the comments that people thought the servers are rude and abrupt. Please remember that this is an immigrant family from Korea whose native tongue is not English. Their service is professional and polite and totally what you would encounter in Korea. Don't expect them to chat you up and treat you like American servers would. Please be respectful and open minded and enjoy their amazing food and culture. I wish the owners the best of success! And see you again soon 😛🤤
Britanny Herrada: I stopped in for dinner and it was a very uncomfortable experience. The place was mostly empty and only had a couple of tables with guests. The person who waited on us was cold and abrupt like we were bothering him by being there. The menus were in disrepair and had new prices glued over old prices. The hot tea I ordered was served in a cracked tea cup with old lipstick on it. The food came out fairly quickly but the sushi was not very good so I didn’t even finish it. Overall a disappointing experience and I wouldn’t ever go back.
Kimberly Wireman: My favorite restaurant! Best sushi, authentic korean dishes.
J: Tables wasn't clean, old duds was ready polite the service of checking on others. Didn't give my chamge backFood: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Marian Newie: Reasonable price. I always go for their shrimp tempura. Love the miso soup that comes with it.
Sophie Bauchet: First greeting at 1pm was : we close at 1:30!Very expensive for average maki rolls. No soup or salad included. Will not return or recommend.

Tai Gunter: South Bend has a lack of good sushi but this is the best. The indoor space is nothing special but the quality of the fish and detail in the rolls is quite good. Prices are fair as well for what you get.

dalia rodriguez: El lugar se un poco bien, la comida buenísima pero el servio de los que atienden horrible muy serios y no ofrecen nada
Brandon Camarillo: Got a Yellowtail roll and the Bi Bim Bob. Both were out of this world. Definitely recommended.
Jacob Lewkowitz: This is hands down the best sushi in the area. Fish is great quality and the rice is perfect. I used to be a sushi chef and I can tell you that these guys know what they're doing. I can't recommend this enough!
Walter Trzop: Best Miso soup and salad se can get. The platters are awesomeVegetarian options: Great selectionWheelchair accessibility: Seating accommodates wheelchair
McKenna DeLaney: Took 50 minutes to get our food and about 15 minutes prior to be given menus and put in our orders. Chicken was burnt and the steak was too chewy to eat. Waiter almost never came to our table and left very quickly without asking us if we needed anything. I left with my stomach hurting.
Deanna Fox: I really enjoy all of the entrees . I really don't have a favorite. All of it is very good 😋Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Mr E: Want to be upscale restaurant. Food expensive, not very many customers when I was here. Chef seems to be very quality oriented. Server is very direct with a lot of editorializing instructions, he's also very descriptive of his food.
Emely Ortiz: Great food exellent service
Autumn H: Horrible service. Food wasn’t ready until at least 40 minutes AFTER it was supposed to be. One guy walked out after a table that was seated after him gave their order and they wouldn’t pay attention to him. The a/c doesn’t work so it was hot. Just stay away.
andrea ott: Great sushi rolls!

Clayton Helwig: well used to come here often and really enjoyed the sushi, apps, and all around good atmosphere but after today i sadly wont be coming back again....one of the reasons is they hit you with a service fee which oddly is 15% of whatever your bill is but dont tell you until after the fact and 2nd reason is the waiter was quite clearly under the influence of something with the way she was talkin and moving around so i dont care to bring friends and family around that...

My buddies and wife and I definitely ate our fill of gyoza, crab rangoon, and all the sushi rolls. Our server also was amazing as they seemed to be short staffed, but we were served quickly as soon as the food was made and ready.
Neil Pagels: Sushi Gardens has become my favorite new go to place for some amazing food! The food is amazing and at a price you can't beat! Shiqouq NA: Every since me & my old lady found this hidden gem, we've been coming here weekly. Sometimes, I'll stop by here more often 😅. All you can eat prices are worth the amount & variety of food you can select. I've never had any issues whether I or my old lady come here for lunch, dinner, or later at night near closing hours they've always taken care of us. We've even dined in & and ordered food to go many times for later on.They've also got plenty of space for larger groups or parties. Obviously, give them a call ahead of time to prepare, but even the larger groups that I've seen come here have enjoyed it. Let the photos do the rest lol.

Stacey L: Wow. Just wow. The only nice thing I can say about this place was the server. She was sweet. The rest was awful. I don’t know where all of these rave reviews came from. I ordered crab Rangoon and aside from there o Ku being 4 puffs, there was basically no filling! It definitely was lint crab. It looked like a thin layer of glaze. So bizarre. Next was my sushi roll. I went with the dragon roll. Apparently at this restaurant that means celery wrapped in rice with avocado on top. NO shrimp. Not one little piece. And somehow, the celery-rice roll tasted terrible. Like dirt. I still can’t get over how bad this experience was. I don’t like to give such scathing reviews, but this needs to be heard. Take your money elsewhere. Woof.

Zing Japanese Fusion: what do users think?
Isaac Keldsen: Great value
Renee Crabtree: Our favorite sushi spot. Service is excellent and prices are good. It’s a small restaurant so if you have more than 2 in your party I’d call ahead. It’s nice to sit outside in the warmer months. The lighting inside at night is not the best- harsh halogen- but I’m picky about lighting.
Shawn Myers: An amazing place! The food and service are both under priced.Great sushi, great teriyaki great hosts.
H. Mob: Good for what you can expect in a small town!Miso was delicious!Sushi was average plus!Service was good!Soda was flat, caramel sugar water!Taro milk was delicious!
Nate Christopher: Best sushi in the Michiana area (and beyond). My wife and I have been ordering from Zing for over ten years and now our kids love it too! Super friendly staff and everything on the menu is great. Some of our favorites include the Out of Control roll, Crazy roll, sesame chicken, teriyaki salmon, wok rice, and bento boxes.
Tasha Hernandez: Literally one of my favorite restaurants!! ❤️ Good food, good service and a good atmosphere. James Whittington: Very nice place, and was happy with the service, and the food.
Heide Stull: Zing is a small Japanese/Asian restaurant in downtown Mishawaka. They offer dine in and take out. My favorite dish is the Mongolian Beef. Their fried rice is also very good. A variety of fresh (and cooked) sushi made to order, which you can watch. They also have ramen, while it’s not their best dish it’s very good. Also offered are various teas both hot and cold. Hot tea comes out in a teapot, they have a base with a tea light that it’s set on so your tea stays warm. My least liked dish was the General Tso's Chicken which, in my opinion, tasted more like American BBQ then spicy. The staff it attentive and friendly, always making sure your drinks are filled.
Erik Lyon: We really enjoy this restaurant. The food and service are very good. It can be a bit pricey, but what isn't nowadays? For the 3 of us, it was just over $100 with tip. I had the shrimp and vegetable tempura, upgraded to the bento box. I also had a 2-piece nigiri sushi 🍣 just to try it out. It was worth it. Not as good as another sushi place that I reviewed but a very close 2nd.
Nicole M.: First time eating here since new owner took over in the summer. Food is still delicious and ordering online was so easy. The food was packed well with the hot and cold separate and stacked in a way that nothing tipped over or sloshed out. It was ready about the time they estimated and pick up was a breeze. I will definitely be going back soon!Parking: It is always hit or miss when I go downtown. I try to stick to the side street with the CVS as the other businesses on that street are typically closed at that time. There is always the free parking lot less than 2 blocks away if a street spot cannot be found.
T W Gongwer: Thus place has been my "Go-To Sushi spot for years...Consistently the best in the area no question!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Lindsay Myers: Have been to zing many times before and have always had a pretty good experience. Tonight was a little different however. It really was the server who we had. I have never seen her there before so she may have been new but she wasn't very friendly, never responded when I would ask her for an item. At the end of the meal after paying and leaving she ran out the building to show me that I didn't sign my name. I left her a tip and the way she came running out made it look like I didn't pay or something. Kind of embarrassing having the other customers looking out the window at me. She then proceeds to go in and show her fellow employee the receipt like she was upset with her tip or something. Kind of disappointing tonight.
