Arabella Williams: Dr. Thomas Larsen, Julie, and Dr. Larsen's nurse Diane or Diana are so amazing. Dr. Larsen is my husband's doctor and is the best doctor I've witnessed in years. He's attentive, urgent, compassionate, and knowledgeable of my husband's medical history and gives him the best care. We appreciate you, Dr. Larsen and SBC medical team.
Lisa Papai: The sign on the corner is way too bright. It really should not be on when it’s dark out, it is a hazard for traffic. Also, the images you are trying to display on the sign are bigger than the sign, so only part of the ads show up anyway and they’re impossible read.
Allen Fuentes: no point in calling because they don’t answer! after 45 minutes of waiting (yeah i know) i hanged up and just drove there for an update on my x-ray for my back.

Kim Branson: I needed to get labs done. At first I couldn’t get them done because I needed an appointment. Recently I was told “ no were not doing appointments now because we’re back up to full staff” I checked twice about this information because the website says you need an appointment! I get to the labs this morning.... first in line. They took three people in before me because THEY HAD AN APPOINTMENT! I have called the clinic three times last week and spent 90 minutes on hold for the three calls. This is beyond ridiculous and frustrating. Do yourself a favor and find a different health care clinic. I love my doctor but the operation of the clinic itself is the worst!

S. W.: Doctors vary in experience and quality from duds to heroes. Do your research! The facilities are now a bit old n dreary but clean. Sometimes dealing with record keeping or billing can be frustrating but isnt that true of any medical facility?

I have no idea what the other guy is talking about lol I've ALWAYS been treated with respect and friendliness from the staff, wait times are minimal and Dr. Larsen is kind and patient. He never makes me feel rushed during my appointments and answers every question I have about my chronic condition. I recommend this doctor's office to anyone 😀
Rick Rish: Staff is rude and snobby, uncooperative and unaccommodating. Dr Thomas Larsen is a very arrogant Doctor. You often don't find many family physicians with a PHD, I think it's gone to his head. If you don't listen to him lecture you, he will "dismiss" you from his practice. I understand he had issues at Memorial too. Maybe he should go back to Denmark where he is from. South Bend clinic has a policy that you can't change doctors within the same group throughout their entire network, so if you don't like the doctor, you won't be able to continue going to South Bend Clinic.

Karina Reith: Akilla the “doctor” or whatever the hell she is is the biggest joke I have ever met. Talks down to patients, disregards any issues of her patients. I have gone here for years and am finally fed up. Shut this place down!!!!! In fact. IHC Bendix in south bend is the biggest joke of a doctors office I have ever been in. If I could give this negative stars I definitely would. If your looking for a doctors office that will care about your health, and personal needs this is the place to 100% AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Any “doctor” that is okay with giving and taking away medication that involves the hormonal balance in the brain and will give it for months on end then instantly take it away is not okay with me. Had gotten into a car crash and told “doctor” Akilla that my back was causing pain. Said she would look at my xrays from my hospital visit. No spinal x rays were done but rib xrays were. No call back, when asked about it at my next appointment she seemed to be caught off guard and said “the spinal x Ray was normal” and walked out the door. How can they be normal when none were conducted? Still in pain nothing done not even once physically looked at my back. I will be happily taking my health to another doctor. It obviously isn’t akilla’s top priority for her patients. How she has a License is beyond me. She is a joke of a doctor and should have it taken away. She does not care for her patients in any means.

Keni Price: Absolute worst medical experience I've ever had. I was between jobs and had to get temporary Medicaid for my children and this is where my children were assigned. You cannot see a doctor even if it's important unless you register, and apparently they only do registrations Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 9am-11am. Yesterday when I arrived, they were busy eating chips out of their drawer. My daughter was very sick so I looked for tissue and hand sanitizer which they did not have. However they do have two baskets full of free condoms out in the lobby. You rarely see a doctor. You will see one of their nurse practitioners. She seemed very unconcerned. After leaving there and getting no answers and absolutely no help I took my child to the hospital where she was admitted. The staff their is so unprofessional. The room was dirty when we got in there. I would not EVER recommend that place.

James Kauzlarich: Gertrude Mumba-Kaunda is a horrible Nurse Practitioner. Rude. Asks questions, then keeps talking. Does not listen. Orders tests etc. without talking to you about it, or even telling you.
Judy Spitler: I would not trade my medical care here for anything! My condition can be challenging, and it's being successfully treated here. They are doing with me what Beacon and St. Joseph failed to do. Dr. Mumba is patient, thoughtful, caring and thorough, as well as kind. The staff is always friendly, professional and welcoming. I'm so glad I tried this place!

My son has a skin condition one told me (the younger one) his script was ready for pick up. I said great called Walgreens and that was not the case so now a little frustrated I call back and the older woman told me I needed a request for that ( which I did not know) but nevertheless she was rude and hung up on me abruptly!! Susan Kay: Local, outpatient multi-specialty health clinic, onsite Lab, no X-Ray. Centrally located, great parking, 8 - 5 hours.I've had stellar, caring service from GP's, NP's, and treatment staff. Front office is friendly, helpful and efficient, waiting time is minimal, the facility cleanliness is terrific. Everyone I've met here is professional and caring. Would highly recommend to family and friends. Wish they had extended or weekend hours!

Isaray Rodriguez: I called over a month ago needing a referral sent so that my child could be diagnosed!! & after over a month I found out that they never sent it over!!! So my son was never placed on a waiting list. & When I did call the first time I got hunged up on 3 times!! & Everytime I called back asking if she could stop hanging up on me she lied & said she couldn't hear me but I could hear her perfectly fine & I couldnt even finish saying hello back before she hung up on me again & she kept having an attitude. I now have to call over and over til they feel like picking up & ask for a referral to be sent again bt they'll probably will need him to come in again for an appointment so wait another month in order to do that & this whole thing has just set back my son from starting school & being diagnose & further back on a wait list by months!

Stacy Mcdaniel: Me and my children have been going to this dr office for years. I’ve never had a problem until now. Previous dr was dr Parrish and she was great . Always contacted me on same day of call or call me asap with results. With this new dr sharp it took me a month to get my X-ray results back and I can’t even get a call back regarding my daughter. As of right now I’m not a happy patient with this dr. Please do better and care more about your patients as you claim to do
George Garner: While individual doctors and staff are surely not worthy of this rating, the difficulty of making appointments and navigating archaic systems is incredibly frustrating. I'm finding myself waiting days upon days for a callback, only to be bounced to another department, only to have to wait more days. As I write this, I've spent well over a week just trying to make an appointment to deal with a pain issue. This is far, far too long, and far more frustrating than it should be.I would highly recommend avoiding them until they're able to get new systems in place that are more user-focused and friendly.

Fr. Ron Nuzzi: I love my physicians but spend way too much time on hold when calling in. Provide the direct number for physicians instead of the one trunk line which requires multiple choices, long waits, and a considerable amount of wasted time for both staff and clients.
Michael Mason: Can't get medications renewed. Have to call 4-5 times. I have no idea what is going on for me to have to get my scripts renewed. Ended up switching doctors
Anonymous Informant: I just called for the fourth time this week requesting a medication refill. The second time I called, they stated it would be rushed & completed that day, which it obviously wasn't. Not a single apology has been given by the staff for their error.I was also supposed to have a follow-up appointment 6 weeks after my last visit. When I went to schedule, the front desk said they were in the middle of a system update & would need to call me later to schedule. Of course, they never called & now they can't fit me in for several more months.Fingers crossed that Dr. Sharp (who is excellent) finds her way to another practice soon so we can all leave behind the mess that is South Bend Clinic.

Michelle Pont: My elderly father was having a severe problem with itching over the weekend. On Sunday called the office and spoke to someone, very helpful, who gave a message to the on-call Dr, who was Dr Kaufhold. He was AMAZINGLY EXCELLENT. Was concerned, compassionate and in no rush. Called in a prescription for my dad. HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR KAUFHOLD. The clinic itself is an extremely busy one, and it takes too long in my opinion to hear back on a general basis. No bad experiences with staff though, other than their call center. After answering what seems like 25 questions every time you call, you can carry on with the reason you called in the first place.
Amy Radke: Had an appointment with Dr Weston today. Went to the desk and told the receptionist I had an appointment so supposedly she checked me in. I went and sat down and watched everyone come and go. Next thing you know a hour had passed by and I’m still sitting there! And they are getting ready to close. So I went to a different receptionist and ask her why was it taking so long. She checked her computer and it said I was never checked in at all! Wasn’t very happy!And forgot calling them and talking to anybody! Disappointing!Although I have to say I have been going to Dr Weston for a long time and I absolutely love her!

Was seen same day by a dr and told I was going to be getting a prescription. 40 min after the appointment I went to the pharmacy to pick it up and they hadn’t even gotten. Ok well I’ll wait a little while longer. Tried again 2 hours after that and they still had no knowledge of it. Called here to talk to my dr about it and some rude nurse told me she would send a note back and call me once it had been filled. Well it’s now been 7 hours since my visit. No meds to take because guess what they still haven’t put my prescription in and it is now after hours. Called the after hours line and got sent to voicemail. So if you want to have terrible service and still be sick even after going to the drs. This is the place for youUpdate: After calling the office again and getting patched through to the after hours lady she was very helpful and assuring that she would do everything she could to get it filled. I’m not sure if this lady was a nurse or just someone who answered phones but she did more for me over the phone in 20 min than I was helped all day. So thank you to the phone lady and the dr. On call for finally getting me taken care. Still jumped through way too many hoops to get a prescription that should have been sent in after my visit

Shikha Sinha: This clinic just tries to force Doctors on you and not let you have a say in your own healthcare choices.I just moved from out of state and upon asking a few neighbors, zeroed in on Dr. Elizabeth Weston as my PCP. I looked up my insurance provider directory and she is in network with us and is accepting new patients. Called her number to establish myself as a new patient and was told that she is not accepting new patients- just relatives of already established patients. I was referred to Dr. Sharp or Dr. Justin Reed who are accepting new patients.I was not ok with them because I am looking for a MD who is a female for self. Upon requesting, the gentleman was nice enough to understand that I have just moved here, don't have any relatives in the area, and put in a request to accept me as a new patient. I was told that someone will call me to confirm that I was accepted in the next hour or so. This was Dec 2nd. Today is Dec 13th. Since I didn't hear back, I called back again today.I was told that Dr. Weston has referred me to Dr. Sharp- who is a DO. They kept switching between Dr. Sharp and Dr. Reed. None of them will work for me because I need a MD who is a female.I can't believe how broken our medical system is because of whimsical decisions like these. She definitely has the bandwidth to accept new patients- but they have to be relatives of her established patients. She will not consider an out of state patient that is trying to get settled in a new place.I do not have any underlying issues, so it is not that I would show up in the clinic every single day, but speaks volumes about the decisions people make when they are in a situation of authority.
Claude Butnaru: Absolutely horrible experience. I had an appointment with Dr. Sharpe. Her nurse was incredibly rude and arrogant. First visit this Doctor which was supposed to be my family Doctor from now on. I just came out of the hospital with pancreatitis and a bad liver they prescribed a limited amount of painkillers. The Doctor made me feel like I was begging for painkillers or something, she refused to prescribe any medications of any kind. She said I should go to pain management, I said what about till then because I'll probably end up in the hospital again, her reaction was oh well.. screw you. Useless! I will never go there again ever!!

Jen H: Wow. Never have I seen such rude nurses. First nurse used a nickname to call a patient back and then was rude to him because he didn’t know she meant him. My nurse was rude about literally everything. And then a nurse came out to get another patient sitting across from me in the waiting room and asked if I was his mom. Dude was a full grown adult. And maybe some of us can’t have children and find that to be super insensitive and rude. Sensitivity training could be used here. Just go to another location. No need for staff to make you feel worse when you already don’t feel well.

How am I supposed to follow up with a voicemail if I can never talk to someone? Why is it that I leave a message for my doctor VIA their option and never hear back? I'm not sure what has happened, but I'm leaving once my doctor retires.
Brittany File: If you need a prescription: MAKE SURE THEY SEND YOUR SCRIPT OVER BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE OFFICE.Repeat: DO NOT leave the office until you have verbal confirmation that it was sent to your pharmacy of choice.Being on hold for over an hour to just speak to someone is one thing, but wasting an hour at Costco with a crying baby is another while waiting for a script to be sent over while no one at the office can even be reached is another.

Everyone should know exactly what's gone on here, for how long its been going on and that at this point there appears to be no end in sight!

Jared Olson: I called to make an appointment with my doctor and was told that I was no longer a patient because I hadn’t been to see my doctor in a few years. The clinic never called me to make me aware of this or to schedule an appointment before dropping me as a patient. All this happened during the middle of a pandemic too. I’m never using South Bend Clinic for anything again.
E Leigh: Sadly I did not have a great experience at this facility. Maybe it was just my doctor, but I've never felt so unwanted in a doctor's office. I'm there to seek treatment for issues I'm having, but felt my doctor had no time for me nor wanted to deal with treating me for anything. I had more bedside manners from the front desk staff than the doctor or her nurse. Thankfully I was able to get back in with my old doctor at Elkhart Clinic who actually cares about her patients.
Jamie Porter: The doctors are fine but good luck getting ahold of anyone at that office. If you enjoy being on hold for 45-60 minutes, you’ve come to the right place! Love playing phone tag with your doctor? You’ll love it there. (How busy can a doctor be, really. My dentist calls as he’s walking to his car at the end of the day. Now that’s a good doctor.) Want a nurse to call you back? Nope, sorry. Want answers of any kind? Look elsewhere. Ridiculous. Hire more people or something. One should not be on hold for 45-60 minutes and then never get a call back!
