Kelly Holcomb: Horrible doctors. Good luck seeing the same drs as they do not stay. They do not listen- nor do they check your charts. If they did ,they would clearly see your history and knows what you need. Was perscribed a med that i knew wouldnt work. they wouldnt perscribe another med. Find a different doctor office. Find a compassionate dr who will listen and knows your charts.. Not worth the headaches!

Kaylene Blosser: Hello, I have been an inpatient within Beacon’s psychiatric care and been seeing my psychiatrist and general doctor here. To begin, my psychiatrist and doctor are amazing. They always take my concerns into consideration and seem like they genuinely care. My stay with Beacon as an inpatient was significantly better than any other hospital I’ve been an inpatient with. My only concern being some of the nurse’s attitudes in the juvenile section. While being admitted I felt very safe and cared for both mentally and physically. When I actually began my stay; there were few nurses I knew I wanted to be distant from. It seemed like they obviously did not want to be there. Whether it was talking bad about other patients or straight up attitude issues. Of course, there were nurses treating us that I still remember 2 years later because they were so amazing and welcoming.
Sue: Be very careful in dealing with Beacon Health billing department. I was ask to pay the deductible my insurance tried to pay them a year ago. I didn't check with my insurance and paid it. Now I've been fighting with Beacon to get them to accept insurance payment that's been sent twice so I can get a refund from Beacon. This has been going on for 8 months. Always call insurance before pay a bill from Beacon Health!
Greg Fink: The billing system is terrible. After each of the last 2 visits I have had to make several calls and faxes to prove that I paid them. Each time it takes weeks for them to find which account where they deposited the payments sent. They never check the notes in the system are quite good at playing dumb each and time they call. This poor billing system creates an unfriendly relationship and is borderline harrassment. To make things worse they continue to put the owness on the client to follow up.
Jill Van Lew: My 80 year old mother was denied service through Beacon healthcare because she does not wear a mask! This is totally egregious and unacceptable! This healthcare system is sold out to big pharma and is in lockstep with the CDC. What an absolute shame!! May God have mercy on your souls for what you are doing to people!! 😔
Mary Klempay: I will say this I am very disappointed with the morning shift nurse on the 2nd floor short stay. His late Sunday afternoon nurses and his mid Sunday night / Monday morning nurses were great. But these nurses on morning are awful rude. They are supposed to checked on him only two times during his last 1 hour or so and with panic attacks wow they didn’t do anything just let him get very loud at time and they didn’t seem to care. They didn’t even have his inhaler med to give him for his breathing treatment I had to go ask.Hey nurses you need to pay attention to the patient and their spouses and listed to what they are saying. Everyone in the hospital needs care and understanding and a little bit of your time.And to all the nurses I know how over worked everyone is but you are the ones who are here to take care of our families members and you took the oath in medical school.I give credit we’re is credit is due for those who work in our medical field.
Mark Suhovecky: I have used Beacon Health System since Moving to South Bend in 2004. In that time, besides my primary care physician, I have utilized specialists in Orthopedics, Dermatology, Oncology, and Radiology, have had several outpatient procedures, three emergency room visits, and two hospital stays. I have always received good quality care.
Jacklyn Ludwig: Terrible service, didn’t call in all the prescriptions, now giving the run around to call a doctor that we never saw. Call said office, shocker they can’t issue it because that office never saw him, we went to the ER and saw a nurse practitioner.Took 15 minutes and multiple call button presses to get someone to let him up to use the restroom. One nurse had her feet up on the desk and 4 others were giggling over a cell phone. I wouldn’t trust this staff with a board game, let alone a human!Go ANYWHERE but Elkhart General. Better yet? ANYWHERE but Beacon Health System.

Chad K: The Billing department is terrible.I paid in full with 2 payments and they gave me confirmation numbers for both payments. Yet they keep billing me for it. Going on 4 months. The people on the phone have been very unprofessional. They always end up saying they found both payments but they can’t update the system themselves and have to escalate the issue. Then they continue to bill me the following month... ridiculous.
Hannah Freeman: These people are the WORST when it comes to billing! I made a $50 payment online and they "lost" it. I have talked to multiple customer service reps who claim they fixed it, but I keep getting billed for it! I have never dealt with anything like this before. I understand mistakes are made, but I have a serious problem when those mistakes are ignored. Let this post serve as a warning to other people out there: they will steal your money, and do nothing to help you. Good luck.
Brooke Roberts: Horrible customer service for Beacon Health System billing. Takes forever to get through to someone if you are on hold for over 10 mins it kicks you off and you have to restart your call and place in line. Once I got through I could hardly hear the lady and she was coughing, yawning, and messing with her phone in the background. She said they would call back with answers on my billing question and they never did. Then when I tried to call back the next week the same girl hung up on me after I was on hold waiting. Had a horrible experience and that lady is not good at her job. Good luck if you need to call them for questions on your billing. They need to hire some better employees in that department for sure! Very frustrating.

Amber Moon: Untimely and unprofessional. I brought a caregiver that had worked for me for years and found HHAs on my own to get hired as they never were able to fulfill the 45 hours approved for my grandmother. They also would attempt to send our caregivers to other homes while never getting our approved hours. They did not complete required paperwork in a timely manner which forced a lapse in her approval for care. Their schedule never matched when the nurse visits and she would just show up to my home. The nurse text me when I could not answer my cell phone while I was at work. Do not recommend.
Miranda Phillips: Since the passing of my father, my grandmother has been getting inconsiderate help from this Interim office. She is older and by herself and cannot even receive help daily for the care that she has requested and has been scheduled for. She needs someone to help her and I am too far to do so. The neglect and favoritism is ridiculous.

Lindsay Nelson: If I could give no stars I would. Not only did Indy put in a stat referral for my son to be seen which still took a week to get him in. My son had been waiting to get a wound vac in his leg for at this point a month. When his dad took him even though he was a smidgen late which yes I think he should of been on time also but was denied the wound vac appointment my son needed and was sent to the ER where my 9 year old basically was punished for something out of his control and had to sit in the ER from 9 am to well currently its 4pm and he's still sitting there right now. Yes his dad shouldn't of been late to the appointment but I do not think he should of been made to sit in the ER for going on 9 hours either. I'm very much not pleased with this at all.

Jeff Simon: Super lousy customer service! I was referred in late March of 2021, the referral never got processed by the incompetent people there. I had to scan and send it via e-mail. Meanwhile, more waiting, one week or more! Then the evaluation is finally scheduled, the insurance was not authorized for more sessions, I wait over a week for that to happen. Finally, the physical therapist is not returning my voicemails about scheduling the physical therapy and it's now May 14th?!? I started one month ago on April 14th, this clinic is messed up and I'm not impatient, they are super slow, I have my facts to back it up too, I do NOT recommend them to anyone!!

Wesley Hedden: Students are required to use this clinic under the university insurance plan. They aren't allowed to access other providers at in-network rates unless they first get a referral from the UHS clinic. Scheduling an appointment is difficult because you can't do it online. You have to call during their limited office hours. It can be difficult to get a hold of them, and you have to wait through a long automated message before you can get the options for connecting to a person to schedule an appointment. Once you get someone on the line, more often than not in my experience, their tone and general attitude towards students is curt if not outright hostile.
Caleb Smith: These people are incompetent. Never email them. If you can, storm in and demand to speak to someone, or at worst call them until you get someone. If you email them about urgent insurance matters, they won’t get back to you until months later
Malik Tropez: Very supportive and considerate staff. Always being willing to help and it has definitely helped me with dealing with injuries/issues I have gotten during my time here.

Bradley Parker: Im a trucker who have to shut down, call an uber n get my tooth infection taken care of. Staff was more than helpful and sought to my every need. They took care of me and id highly recommend this place to anyone going through an illness

I came here after St Joseph emergency room where I was writing 3 hours. I will keep sharing this unpleasant experiences, to trigger some changes in that amature organisation.
Cassy: This was the absolute worst ER experience I have ever had. Nothing was seen as an emergency and multiple people with serious problems left after 5+ hours of waiting. I left after 6 hours of waiting, still never seen by an actual doctor.

I have noticed young white patients being taken to the back to see a doctor when the emergency room is filled with 95% non white patients having to wait for over 3 hours. People will say it’s not true but tonight it’s my 85 year old dad back to reality moment to experience how far we have not come.
Dean Snyder: Sat nite after the ND game there was no less than 20 people in the ER. An infection was making it painful to breathe. After an EKG i was sent back to the waiting room,i asked the nurse,is it going to be hours? He shook his head yes. There was a man who stitches had ripped open from prior back surgery..3 1/2 hours and still was waiting to be seen. I was there almost 3 hrs and saw 3,maybe 4 people taken back to see a doctor. The guy left and went to Elk general.I left not being seen,no better,and went home. I hope the staff,if u wanna call them that,are proud of their incompetence. Today there was 6 people waitng. After 3 hrs i asked the nurse behind the counter if i was going to be seen soon,to which she sarcastically replied"we're doing the best we can,but thank u for your concern"and shut her little sliding glass window in my face. Again,i left,untreated,and went home and took some advil. That ER is a joke. Never again.

I don't get how ppl were up walking and talking on their phone was worse than what I went threw.. I left came to St. Joe, and I have a kidney infection... good job memorial.. Pat Hipskind: I took my friend there not long ago. She was in terrible pain. There were people there who were walking in and out smoking, getting food. Etc. She had to wait over an hour and no one came to her aid, while these others were enjoying their time there. Something must be done! The sign in er says they take people according to pain level - not true+!
Angela Vore: I was treated like a sub human there they lied straight to my face gave me a shot I thought was anti nausea medicine only to find out it was a sedative then was woken up to be told I would get to treatment bc I was on drugs. I'm 46 yrs old and nvr knew one could leave the emergency room sicker than when they went in. I feel humiliated used and abused. If he didn't want to treat me he should have NEVER put Anything In My Body!

Becky Vollmer: If I could give this place a 0 I would. I understand staff is overworked, burnt out, way busier than normal but Memorial is supposed to be the top of the line in Michiana. I arrived to the ER with 4 people ahead of me. It was 2 hours before the 1st was called back and around 3.5 before I was called back. I'm not bothered by these wait times as I know it could be much longer. I'm bothered that when I was called back, I was placed in a room...and no one returned. An hour and a half went by and still not a soul to check my vitals, assess me, get me comfortable. My husband (who was in the parking lot) said 3 south bend and 2 mishawaka ambulances were pulling in and lots of police. Hospital went on lock down. I knew these patients would take precedence over me since they don't even know why I'm really here.... so I left. The front desk staff was less than sympathetic. My husband drove me over to Franciscan in Michigan City (and WOW...what a great experience and beautiful hospital) and what do you know....emergency gallbladder removal. Have had a great experience at Beacon Granger so if you can make it there to be treated...or get treated and need higher level of care...let them transport you to Memorial so you can skip Memorials ER...I'd do it.
Jerome Jonesiii: I literally just called them because my wife is there now. She got some shots and she passed out while we were video chatting I called them and told them what happened and they said they were sending someone and almost 10 minutes later she called me back and said no one came in. I had her push the call button and then someone just came in. It's sad and scary at the same time when you can't count on the people that are supposed to help save lives where your loved ones are. I am very upset about this. I can't even come up there because of the covid restrictions or I would be there now. DO BETTER MEMORIAL HOSPITAL. I know it's a job but you are trusted with the lives of the people that you "care" in that facility!

I followed up on the advice and went to the Memorial ER. I waited for four hours before I was able to see a doctor and he said that he could not believe what I was told at Physicians Urgent Care and that he doesn't know what could be wrong with me. It took less than 5 minutes, if that.The combined bill is close to 600.00 and I am in the same limbo as before seeing the two Dumbo docs.To add insult to injury, Memorial ER contacted me several weeks later stating that I owe an additional $250+ because of a test that I didn't consent to and it wasn't even reviewed or discussed by the doctor.Absolute disgust with treatment. This is extortion!I really hate the broken healthcare system in our country. We seen as nothing more than incoming money, no one cares to help anymore.
Sdv V: I rarely write reviews, but I've been compelled to do so due to the lack of service received and issues with billing.1. The wait was well over 5 hours, yet the actual time spent with the doctor was less than 5 minutes. I went in with severe ear pain, and left with severe ear pain. There was absolutely no diagnosis given, other than the doctor saying "I don't know", and ushering me out.2. During the wait, blood was drawn without the doctor's orders, or my consent/understanding of why. Results were never shared (the doctor didn't even know, nor did he ever, at any point, give an order for blood work after seeing me). I have been billed however for this "lack of" service. After talking to billing about the issue, and even though she agreed with me, she stated I would still be expected to pay for the blood work. Why?So, I have to pay to talk to an incompetent doctor, that provided no treatment.I have to pay to have my blood drawn without a doctor's order? Just so they could bill $$$$ to my insurance company.What sort of business practice is this?
Jack Cooper: I had a car accident and I was sent here by helicopter. I really appreciate the nurse Emily and Misty. The nurses are excellent. But the therapy plan is suspicious, I almost got skin necrosis on my right foot.
