Jay Frank: Great value for the money. The facility is clean with quiet rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They create a nice ambiance from the moment you walk in.Safety: The front entrance is secure and rooms offer secure entrance with secondary locking mechanisms.Food & drinks: It is close to several food establishments and the hotel itself has deals with several local establishments for delivery deals.

Michael Greer: Clean hotel, super friendly staff. Nice and newer mattress in our room (king bed). We had about 100 people in our group, staff was excellent, well organized and extremely helpful. It’s an older hotel, 2 floors and no elevator. This was not an issue for our group. Convenient location to food (walkable) and easy access to interstate. Would stay again without hesitation.

I cancelled my week and only stayed one night. Never ever again. Breakfast was a muffin. The TV remote was disgusting and sticky. I had the creeps all night that something may crawl on me. The shower had mold.When I was unloading they have a garden cart to help unload but no automatic doors and the people working would not help hold a door.Clean the dang on place.

Only one housekeeper rooms were not clean very well, some rooms were being renovated bu still no excuse to why the rooms booked for stays were in the condition they were in.Many complaints of those checking out we won't be oolong there again. This hotel is a smudge to the choice hotel chain.

Dirty mirrors, a towel with a dirty handprint, trash from the previous stay, a blanket for the pull out couch covered in lint and hair, etc.As a matter of fact, I did not see any sign of housekeeping existing in this hotel in the 2 days in this hotel. Did not see one cleaning trolley/employee on either morning.We made sure to clean after ourselves well because we know there will be no thorough cleaning for the next guest.Also, no hot water. At all. Spend the extra buck to stay somewhere nicer. 2 stars doesn’t mean it has to be filthy.

Alle Information wurden verlangt, obwohl wir bereits bei der Buchung angegeben haben. Neben dem Pass musste ich auch die ID und den Führerschein vorlegen. Im Zimmer angekommen, mussten wir feststellen, das Sauberkeit nicht mehr oberste Priorität hat beim Personal. Ein Zimmerservice findet auch nicht statt. Das Zimmer wird nicht gemacht, Tücher und Toilettenpapier muss man an der Reception holen. Doch auch hier, Anwesenheit des Personal ist nicht gewährleistet. Warmes Frühstück gibt es nicht mehr. Es beschränkt sich auf Kaffee und ein paar kalte Sachen. Begründet wird dies mit Covid.Perfektes Hotel für ein paar Tage. Die Zimmer sind sauber und grosszügig gestaltet. Leider ist das Bad etwas zu klein geraten. Das Frühstück ist ausgewogen. Leider wird dieses nur bis 9:00 Uhr serviert. Das Klimagerät ist etwas zu laut. Wir konnten nur bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät schlafen. Wer mit viel Gepäck anreist, sollte darauf achten, dass er im Erdgeschoss übernachten kann. Das Hotel verfügt über keinen Aufzug.

S Lou: This place is terrible. I stayed in a pet friendly room and felt badly for making my dog have to walk on the carpet. The carpet by the door and entrance to the bathroom was filthy, the bathroom shower was old and either had soap film on it or the finish was worn off and it looked really dingy, and the floor tile also looked dirty. There was dirt and debris around the floor lamp when I went to turn it on so I just left it off. There was a really strong odor of some kind of cleaning chemical that hit you in the face when your first walked into the room which burned my throat and sinuses. There was the smell of pot everywhere when I was walking through the halls. While I was happy to find the hotel and it's conveniently located just off the interstate, the whole neighborhood felt unsafe, so much so that I slept in my clothes in case something happened and my dog and I would have to make a run for it!The only positives I have to share are that the bed was comfortable and the woman who checked me in was very helpful and friendly.

Walked into the room saw stains on both beds which in my reservation it was supposed to be a king bed. At the bathroom sink there were bugs crawling around in it. The bathtub had remnants of hair and other material in the drain. TV did not work at all. Air conditioning unit / heater did not have any protective cover on it. Pulled sheets down and they had stains on them as well so I slept in my clothes on top of the covers.

Carmen Steuck: We booked a King non-smoking room online using Choice Hotels app while driving towards Fort Wayne. The first red flag was the multiple gentlemans clubs within sight of the motel. When we arrived, the clerk informed us that even though we'd already paid online with a credit card when booking the room, we were REQUIRED to provide a $50 "refundable" cash damage deposit, and we had to push to get a receipt. Then we were BOTH required to provide our ID'S before she'd assign a room and give us a key. As we were unloading the car, we noticed the overflowing garbage on the stair landing, and we're pretty sure the car slowly circling the building multiple times was trying to find his dealer to make a purchase. When we got to our non-smoking King room, we found 1 Queen bed, and many cigarette burns on the bedspread, toilet, and bathtub, with at least a dozen BUGS (roaches? Beetles?) scurrying around in the tub, on the bathroom floor, and on the toilet. We were only in the room 5 minutes, then went down to ask for a refund. We got the $50 cash back, but "the manager will have to refund the credit card in the morning". Now I itch, and feel like I need a shower...

Don't fool around with Mother Nature: Hotel is in need of some updating, but overall nice and clean. We had a great time at the bar, wings were excellent. Major complaint is breakfast! We travel for work and stay at a lot of Holiday Inn hotels. This one said they have a full service restaurant so we went for breakfast. They said all they had was a buffet, so we said, and thought, it would be fine. We were charged $25 for 2 and it's the exact same breakfast as every other Holiday Inn has for FREE. Hard biscuits, everything was luke warm. If you can't offer better than what we had today, it should be free. Cut up cantaloupe and blueberries are a decent but cheap fruit offering.

Dan Petrowski: Friendly front desk service, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. We stayed 2 nights during the holidays, and had excellent service from the front desk staff. The buffet style breakfast in the restaurant was good, but waitstaff service was limited at best (we never even received drink service during our entire meal, but other tables did). The room décor is somewhat dated, especially when compared to other Holiday Inns, but everything is in good condition and very clean and comfortable. We didn't use the pool or workout facility during our visit, but it looked nice. The hotel is located directly across the street from the local Arena, and was centrally located for easy access to most of Fort Wayne. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again during future visits.

One was on the 6th floor and one was on the 5th floor, but we didn't know the room numbers. There were 7 of us between the 2 rooms. My friend and I were the last to arrive around 11pm. There were 2 front desk receptionists. One was assisting another guest. My friend and I stood in front of the other one. She appeared to be counting her drawer at the end of her shift so we waited. She didn't acknowledge us, or say anything like "I'll be right with you." My friend said the person's name who reserved the room. The receptionist was rude from the moment she opened her mouth. "What?" She replied. I said we were trying to check in and repeated the name of the person who made the reservation. She stated if our name isn't on the reservation it would be a security violation to give us the room number.Now, I understand that they can't just hand out keys to anyone who walks in and asks for one and says someone's name. I get that. But instead of greeting us in a friendly manner or even looking up the reservation to see the details, she just blurted out that it would be a "security violation" to give out any information. From the time we entered until the time I left the facility, I was rudely spoken to by this young girl. Never a smile. Never a friendly greeting. Nothing.At one point she told me to stop yelling (I had not raised my voice at all.)We couldn't communicate with our friend who was already in the room because her cell phone had died.I've worked at top notch hotels. Here's how I would have handled it:If I was counting out my drawer, I would have set it aside and helped the guest or at least acknowledged and would have said, "Welcome to the Holiday Inn! I'll be right with you."How can I help you? You're checking in? What's the name on the reservation.Ok. I see it's under someone else's name, etc. I would have then checked to see if there were any notes (ie: other guest's names, etc) and then asked for an ID.If both rooms were listed under 1 person's name, clearly 1 person can't occupy 2 rooms. (The girl kept saying if we didn't make the reservation she couldn't give us a key. That's ridiculous since I've made plenty of reservations under 1 person's name and there are notes under the reservation with occupant's names or something.)If there were no notes or got to a point AFTER CHECKING THE RESERVATION where I couldn't give out a key, I would have offered to call the room for the guest trying to check in.Instead the girl kept talking over me, interrupting me, accusing me of yelling, etc. I was so flabbergasted at how rude she was treating us, that I said I couldn't stay. I grabbed some of my things to take to the car.A gentleman that works at the hotel (I'm not sure in what capacity) followed me out to my car and asked what happened. He told me they've had complaints about her before. (I was not surprised in the least.) As I explained what happened I started to cry. I was just shocked at how the whole thing escalated so quickly! He mentioned he would let his manager know the next day. We walked back inside so I could get the rest of my things. Our friend who was in the room on the 6th floor had come down to the lobby looking for us. She asked what happened and I was telling her the story. The front desk receptionist kept interrupting me even though I wasn't talking to her, I was talking to my friend.The receptionist was clearly leaving for the night so I waited to leave until she was gone because I didn't want to be in the parking lot with her alone. My friends wanted me to stay, but I was too upset so I ended up driving 3 1/2 hours home at 11:30am (arriving at home at 3:00am) instead of being able to stay with my friends.That receptionist does not belong in customer service!

Ciarra: Great hotel. Looks run down on the outside but surprisingly my room was very nice. Clean towels everyday and trash taken out, nice comfortable bed with clean sheets, covers and pillows. Nice sized tv on the wall, wifi worked great, front desk was very understanding and paitent with me when I had to pay for my after work. Would definitely recommend, it's one of the nicer hotel for a decent price. There is a $100 deposit fee that I didn't know about though so just a heads up.

Matthew Martinez: The establishment was not kept well as far as ground keeping is concerned. But the staff were very helpful a man and a lady were at the front desk to greet me.. they let me use their WI-FI. I was grateful for that small gesture. I was able to find my room with ease.. -1 points for having no elevators...-2 points for not having a pool. And no breakfast in the morning we were left to out own devices thinking about food just because it's not provided.. almost makes you more hungry. Anyway 😛. I wish the rooms were provided cleaning supplies as not one effort went into cleaning. They were strick on the towels but what hotel isn't. 😂. Overall i give this place a 3.out.of five Stars 🤩

Kaiela Parson: I stopped in here after my bachelorette party with my fiance, we were checking in at 3am they guy was charging me outrageous pricing so I declined the stay he got mad asked for his room keys back I gave them back to him and my id was in with the cards I did not realize this until I got back to my car I then went back in and told him that my id was in with the rooms keys he told me it was not and I am absolutely certain it was. I'm getting married this weekend and needed my id for our marriage license thankfully the woman and the court house is working with him. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel at all. He was very rude when I would not allow him to charge me an outrageous price for a few hours of sleep to drive home safely.

Thompson Family: The lady at the front desk was polite and very nice. The room isn't anything fancy but it was very clean! No bugs of any kind!!! Don't go there and expect a fancy updated room because it's outdated but cleanliness and no bugs is what matters to me lol. Very cheap price. Great location as well. The property also is covered in cameras so your can feel extra safe even though it is in a safe area already. Cable tv. A/C & heat both worked well. The bed was firm. Only issue I noticed was the sheets had stains but they had been washed. And bring pillows if you can. $25 cash deposit when you arrive but as long as you do not smoke in the room you'll get that back.

This place seriously needs some updating. I will try and post my pictures.Also, the only pets allowed are service or emotional support nimals. You must pay a $10 deposit per pet and have your documentation that the animal is really a service or support animal

Drew: I stayed there for a week and a half and I had a pleasant stay. There were some noises at night from other people coming in drunk, but that is not a reflection of Executive Inn. I would definitely choose to stay there again if I visit Fort Wayne again. The TV was good and had more channels than other local hotels. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were absolutely fluffy and great. The staff were very nice to me. I would recommend this place. I was apprehensive when I saw the other reviews, but experience was not at all like the reviews. I enjoyed my stay there.
