“In my opinion, Sycamore Hills is one of the finest sites we’ve ever had the opportunity on which to design a golf course. It has gorgeous trees, great movement of property, and it had some existing lakes that really functioned quite well. The site had a little river moving through the property which really afforded alot of opportunities to create different shots. We had the opportunity to create a very diverse set of holes for Sycamore Hills and the course should be considered as one of the finest golf courses in the United States, as time goes on.”

Coyote Creek Golf Club sits on the site of the former Elks Lodge 155, a Lodge that was rich with golf history. From 1951-1956, the course was the home to the PGA TOUR Fort Wayne Open. Twenty two different PGA major championship winners played in the 72 hole tournament, including Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, and a future icon, featured in our history section.
