Phyllis gates: My husband and I have been in our Granite Ridge custom-built Columbia City home since mid-September, so it's high time we let folks know about the quality and care one can expect from this fine builder. Granite Ridge makes the whole process easy from the purchase of land (should you choose to live in a Granite Ridge community) to the final product. Lucian drew up exactly the floor plan we had in mind, and in a couple of weeks we were invited to their HUGE showroom to choose siding, roofing, flooring, paint, carpet, and such. Then, after picking out window treatments, organizational designs, and electrical fixtures all we had to do was sit back and watch it happen! Although everyone we worked with was wonderful, the guy we had the most contact with was (and still is) Brian, the project manager. During construction Brian gave us regular progress updates and was always available to answer any questions or concerns we had. He never failed to return an email or answer a phone call. Recently, he came over to install window trim that had just been delivered and to add finishing touches to our kitchen exhaust hood. Brian is a man who cares about his homeowners as well as his builder's reputation and makes sure both are protected. Tom Loy: This was our first home for my wife and I. We dove in headfirst and decided to build, which is not exactly normal for a first-time buyer. However, we couldn’t have made a better decision than to build with Windsor. It was an incredible experience from start to finish. The team at Windsor is outstanding. We have heard some horror stories with other builders and other companies, but we didn’t deal with anything close to that with these guys. I care so much about customer service and how we are treated by people and to be completely transparent, this is a five-star team over at Windsor. Cory Setser was the one we dealt with primarily on a daily basis and we were very lucky. Cory made the experience so smooth and allowed for us to be completely comfortable throughout the process. We never felt like we were asking a dumb question and he was always so patient with us and so incredibly responsive. Cory is someone I could now consider a friend, simply from how great he was. Both Pat Feely and Pat Davis were terrific as well. They were on top of any issues or any changes that needed to be made. They got them done quickly, got them done right and were very forthcoming with anything they thought we wouldn’t like or anything they thought we may want changed. Nobody is perfect in anything. Our beautiful dream home is incredible. However, surely it isn’t flawless. Nobody should expect that. Is anything in life truly perfect? No. It checks off every box imaginable for us, but of course there is some human error involved and there are going to be minor things you notice when knitpicking. The fact of the matter is if you go in to the process of building or buying a home and you expect every single thing to be flawless and there not to be even the most minor imperfections, you’re being unreasonable and not understanding that homes are built by hand and not machines. With that mentality you probably won’t have fun doing this. These guys truly did their best to make it as flawless as possible and for that I’m grateful. If you can relax and have fun with the process like we did, Windsor is absolutely the business to use. You will deal with some of the most caring, patient and friendly people and I guarantee that you will enjoy the process. So, yeah, would I recommend Windsor? 100%.

McKenzie Zolman: It took me over a year to finally write this review, but it still greatly upsets me and my growing family. We got this builder’s blessing to purchase a lot within their building zone knowing they would build us our dream home. We even shared reports, did ALL the ground work with septic, well, etc., and after purchasing the lot and finally getting ready to sit down and design, they completely back out on us and refused to respond to emails. We have never been more let down by a builder before, and trust me, we’ve met with plenty!!!

Chance McMaken: built in 2018 townhome, overflow drainpipe in bathrooms are cheap and leak through the ceiling, $500 repair not covered by the builder. Also build homes in the front of the neighborhood last, everyone in the addition has to drive through inches of mud caked on the asphalt with builders pop cans all around. Really disappointed in how this was organized. can't enjoy my neighborhood or keep anything clean.

Bryan H: You see a company's true colors after the sale and Quality Crafted Homes has been very good in that regard. We had some issues with our new house, which is to be expected, but they have taken care of them in a professional way. It's rare that you get what you pay for these days. I always try to leave a review when a company meets or exceed my expectations. We are very happy that we purchased from them.

Michael Denton: If you are seriously considering using Lancia, I would look elsewhere. From signing a contract, to picking out your finishes, and the rest of the whole process, you are merely a number. First off, Gerry, the one used to pick out interior finishes, does not try and help you with suggestions or anything. second, we picked out a built in for the laundry room, show her a picture, she adds it to the build list, and when we walk into the house, it is some cheap particle board organizer hanging on the wall. We ask the site PM, and he says that is what we ordered. we say no no no, and show him a picture, well come to find out, she priced us the wrong thing, and of course would not take ownership of it. The Site PM did make it right with us, so I have nothing but good things to say about Justin. As far as their warranty work and subcontractors, it is a joke. We had our 1 year walk through canceled 3 or 4 times due to them not having anyone to come out and they still never fixed anything from that. Never got our 2 year walk through either. Then if you call saying something is wrong, they just make excuses on why it is that way. Other people in our addition have complained that their warranty work is non-existent too. Honestly, the quality of the house is not that great either. The Plumbing subcontractor, didnt tighten the line on the water heater, and water leaked slowly for months, and rusted the outside of the tank. Plumber came and tightened it and said they wont replace it, even though it was 100% their fault. so now we have a rusted water heater tank that is an eyesore. Told Lancia about it and they did nothing about it either. The one good thing with Lancia was their PM or site contractor (not sure what they call them) named Justin. He was always extremely helpful, friendly and addressed concerns. Other than him, our experience with any of the Lancia team was bad to awful. We plan to build again in the future, and there is absolutely no way I would use Lancia nor would i recommend Lancia to anyone. Mediocre quality, warranty coverage is awful, and their team is subpar. The only warranty work coverage we had was our 6 month walk through. Canceled all the other walk throughs numerous times and wont return phone calls. Please look elsewhere. I wish I could give zero stars.

Allen Martin: I built a home with them hoping to avoid inheriting existing home issues. Not only did I pay a premium price for a new home, I received more problems than a person should have to deal with. I will give them credit that they will fix the problems but it is like pulling teeth to get it done. I'm six months into ownership of the home and the problems just keep coming. I'm sure other builders are just like them so I couldn't give anyone advice on who to build with. They might build you a good home. I just didn't receive one.

Davin Jackson: Would I recommend? In a word, No.I feel I would've had better experience buying a old house. My home is brand new and we've had almost every issue we can think of and the lack of urgency to come assist someone who just spent more than a 1/4 of a mill with you is just disheartening.Electrical issues, plumbing, flickering lights, cracks in foundation, we had to have them come out 3times to rip up and finally fix THE ENTIRE SECOND FLOOR. Just so walking around wouldn't wake us up on the ground floor.Leaking roofs, backing up sewer systems and electrical breakers tripping ever so often are common for ALL our neighbors in this new subdivision.Be careful is all I'd say.

Joe Milledge: I understand they build an economically home. Most recently pricing going up due to lumber costs. Those prices are starting to come down so we'll see if their pricing does. Their homes would look so much better if they would build soffit overhangs on their gables.

Kylee Finch: I was told they were working on locking me in a rate, I was told that on April 30th and STILL have NOT received any info on it. I worked with Jamie Lancia so I figured everything would go smoothly and I would be helped in anyway, however, I was wrong. I would not recommend them, go with someone who has an urgency to not only sell you a home, but someone who does not try to take you for all your money and not have a care about actually treating you well.

Alexa Swanson: Disappointed with how we were treated as first time homebuyers. The Lancia team jumped on the chance to request more money, and didn't see it necessary to assist us through the process and ensure that it ran smoothly. Do your research, there are other affordable builders in the area. If you do choose Lancia, I would suggest having a realtor represent you. You'll be working with a Lancia rep, otherwise.Response to Lancia's Comment: Our lender was given 30 days to process, he took 31 days over a holiday weekend.
