I spoke with Big Firm Lawyers and spoke with little local lawyers. Then I spoke with a gentleman I know who happens to be a lawyer, explained to him my situation (very messy) and asked him where i should go, who should i hire without hesitation he said REX PATTERSON i now know that REX PATTERSON has the credentials not only that but knows how to use them. REX as a lawyer well as a person has a way of making you feel comfortable he is cool calm collective but you know by the end of your first consultation with REX you will realize that there is a Lion inside him. He is going to fight for you. Without saying to much about my situation I was very pleased. A lot of people warning me how things go in Indiana when it comes to fathers rights no matter what the mother has done, they said don't expect much in court with any lawyer. I didn't listen to them I expected what was fair no I expected WHAT WAS RIGHT and those are not the same and REX PATTERSON DID NOT DISAPPOINT ME. He did so much for me and my family and all while never stepping foot inside a courtroom. I highly recommend REX PATTERSON @PATTERSONLAWLLC he as my lawyer truly changed my life for the better.

James Wilson: Do not hire. This guy took my family for well over 30 thousand. He never read court docs, lied in court several times to the point the judge had to call him out on it, he didn't know anything about the case when asked he blamed his secretary on email malfunctions. And dropped the case 2 weeks before trial, after assuring us that he had this in the bag. He will rob you blind if you are not from his town.

Mania Mass: I was client for one of the lawyers, I don't recommend it at all. I paid my retainer and my file was forgotten for months after filing. I didn't like the way of calculating/promising what I will get. No one can guarantee anything in court. No client's update, paid every small communication until retainer finished just for updates. Nothing significant/non-significient done in whole retainer amount. Can't judge all lawyers in the firm, just hired one!

Gina Murrell: The only Attorney that cared about the clients in this firm is gone and she was told not to bother even talking to me. She did anyways. Helped what she could. Never saw Tracey Rosswurm. These attorneys are not aggressive criminal defense attorneys, but they are rude to their clients. And not one Petition was even filed. Took me weeks to get my paperwork back. Girl at the front desk said it wasn't there when it was there all along. So unorganized. Who do they think pays their bills? What a rip off!

Kimberly Harrington: We hired them for a personal guardian matter and we were promised that we would win our case. The staff member who started our case ended up leaving the firm and our case was turned over to another individual. We ended up having to check in on our case as nothing was getting done. Then they “forgot” to assign a Guardian ad litem. This said Guardian ad litem took another 3 months to get out to investigate situation. Needless to say we lost our case because of this Guardian ad litem and lack of follow through. But they proceeded to charge us full price for little to no work and piss poor work at that!! Would NEVER recommend their services!

B: Went here for very simple legal representation. Paid over $2,500 and they did absolutely no exploration and only came to 1 court appearance, so I didn't have to see the abuser in the court room. Took phone calls with the defendant who would randomly call my lawyers to whine essentially. Calls I never asked them to be responsible for and then they charged me for the calls they took from the abuser without my knowledge. $300 per 10 minute phone call. I had to do all exploration myself and present it to lawyer as if I was their paralegal. I should have been the one being paid. Go anywhere else or represent yourself like I did and save yourself the nearly $3k!

I've paid them $1500 dollars to represent me in my case which is happening right now and I had set an appointment for today a week ago to meet with my attorney their going to call me and tell me that they can't even see me unless I make another payment. They have done nothing for me at this point but just take my money when I called them back i asked, if i make a payment today they said that they would agree to see me mind u my last payment was just due 2 days ago and my appointment had already been scheduled for a week. One of the attorneys is going to tell me 3 weeks ago not to worry about the payments to worry about my bills that they would not drop my case, but now they don't even want to do their job they were even paid for. Must be nice to take from a single mother and 3 children, when it was already hard enough to even come up with the $1500. I would never trust anyone in this office their frauds. They will take ur money and keep comparing ur case with everybody else's. Every case is different, with different people in them. They try to tell u what's going to happen in ur case before they even have the evidence. Attorneys are not sycics. That's not defending anyone. They were not defending me. And disregard a mother who has always been there for her child when the father wasn't around much.(Much as in 40 to 50 days a year.. not even really knowing my child.)Not to mention she was incompetent to do her job and never came to do home visits at my house and only did them at my daughter's father's house. Still don't know why that was. And they also kept that a big secret for some reason.Late to every single court day.Also to mention is that her and the attorney on the other parties side were friends and I asked for a new GaL the very second I found this out. These 2 ladies work together often..Me in the very beginning of this traumatizing time. I didn't have an attorney and shared some of my evidence with this gal and she could definitely see what I was dealing with, still disregarded any of my evidence.Emailed me about my boyfriends Google review on exposure for this firm.She is very unhappy about the exposure and threatened to use it in court. C J: I typically only write good reviews, but this is a case where I just have to share my disappointed opinion so that others do not find themselves in my place. I hired Mr. Sturm a little over a year ago. I found that it was difficult to get a response from his office for months, and my family encouraged me to reconsider my attorney choice. They felt he was “not interested” in my case. However, I had read all of the excellent reviews online, and had been referred to him by another top attorney in town. When I finally was able to reach him, I voiced my dissatisfaction/concerns, to which he sincerely did apologize and offered me another form of contacting him. This was enough to make me think maybe I just had too high of expectations/we are all human and get busy etc. Things went smoothly for a couple months, appearances were going as well as I would assume they should, money was being spent quickly on attorney fees, the normal...suddenly it became impossible to get in contact with him again. And when I say impossible, I mean that I actually began wondering if he was still alive. Not even a joke, I checked the obituaries! Each time I would speak to his legal assistant, she was always friendly and polite, but my messages were never returned or acknowledged by my attorney. All of this was occurring while I am in the middle of a very messy, emotional, super long custody battle. My invoices had all been paid. Then abruptly (after all my emails and phone calls had gone unanswered for months) I received a letter in the mail stating he would be withdrawing his representation in my case. I personally feel that was something that deserved a phone conversation, as a professional courtesy. When I did call the office (twice) to inquire, I was still left hanging. Now I will need to hustle to hire a new attorney, after thousands upon thousands have already been spent. I also inquired multiple times about $3500 in legal fees that had been awarded in my case, which also received no reply. I apologize to Mr. Sturm for having to write this review, as I would have liked to speak personally and professionally about it, but since my phone calls never could get through to you, I think it is an honest opinion of my experience that will hopefully be considered as a cause for improvement in future dealings with clients.
