Tim zehr: Great company to do business with. They did what they said they would do. Staff and workers were friendly. Dan definitely has an eye for landscaping. Sarah Bolinger: Had an appointment to talk with someone at my home. Took 2 hours off work to meet them. No one showed. When I called people were rude. Find another more reliable place with nicer people.
Dylan Mays: Had a great selection of trees and shrubs, but felt very uncomfortable around one of the older employees working there. Called all Mexicans lepers and wouldn't stop talking about his political views. We had a younger woman who ended up checking us out because he was too busy talking. She was very nice. Maybe just don't insult where customers are from in front of them.
Betty Stieglitz: Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to selecting a rose, tree or plant. Sydney helped me by letting me know the rose that I was about to purchase was a high maintenance rose. That was not what I wanted to purchase. She also assisted me making a gift certificate purchase . She is an excellent employee and was very helpful and professional at her job . I would recommend her to help you if your looking to purchase items for your landscaping.
Mehrin Shahed: Disappointed with my first purchase. I asked if the rose I was buying was an own root one or a grafted one...the salesperson said he didn't know. I learnt soon how easy this was to tell. On coming home I found that the pot was less than half filled with soil ( = smaller root ball), and, most to my dismay, there was a hole on a cut cane that implies cane borer.Update May 2021: They replaced the rose even after 7 months, and was very helpful in trying to chose one.

Tim Yanko: I don’t write reviews but I really feel like I should about Galbaiths. I called Dan out to do a small job, they did a great job so we tore out the whole front and replaced it. That turned out so well we did a major landscaping job in the back. Couldn’t be happier.I know they aren’t the cheapest but I have had a ton of contractors at my house and I must say they were one of the best! Did exactly what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Very rare these days
Jason Fowler: Went to look at some new trees for the yard. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were also very knowledgeable about the types of trees they had, how big they get and what would work for us best
Madison Post: This nursery truly cares about their customers and plants! They have a wide selection of gorgeous rose bushes, and employees are well-versed in their knowledge of rose varieties and plant care. I recently bought a rose on clearance from the previous season. The bush was healthy, but didn’t have any blooms on it when I bought it. I found out it was mislabeled when I got blooms on it, so I decided to return it. The service was great, and they went above and beyond with their customer care! I am so grateful to have a supplier of quality, competitively-priced Floribunda and Hybrid Tea rose bushes in the area!
Andrew Hoffman: Dan did a great job transforming our backyard. We let him guide us and we're very happy with the results.
Lisa Weaver: I called to schedule an appointment for a landscape design estimate. Had to call back again a week later because the guy never called me back. That should have been my warning. Got an appt set. It was raining the day he came out so she told me he couldn't draw a design since his paper would get wet. OK understandable. Said he would stop by another day with better weather to draw up a design. Never heard from him again. And that was back in March. I'm not going to beg a company to take my money when they clearly don't care about my business.
Sharon Meier: Galbraith has a lot of very healthy looking bushes, shrubs trees, & especially roses. They have one of the widest selections of ceramic or concrete fountains that I have seen in this area. They also have a variety of yard art, bird bath options, and planters.
chris shatto: Greeted by whom I assumed was the owner- told him we were looking for a concrete ornamental fountain and to get rose fertilizer... went inside, looked around, found a fountain we were interested in purchasing and told by 2 employees we were not allowed to be inside during the Covid-19 quarantine. Employees told us we have to leave the building immediately. Obviously the first guy who said we can go in was not the one signing the payroll checks after all. Will buy a fountain at Stuckeys Greenhouse on Lima Road and fertilizer online or at Lowes. Would have been the easiest $1300 Campania order ever- would take a miracle for me to ever go back.
Phil: Called to schedule an estimate for a large residential landscaping project. Grumpy guy asks what we need done, and cut me off after the first two items were mentioned, as he decided it wasn’t worth their time.I had only mentioned one fallen tree and a brush pile needing hauled away, but he didn’t even let me tell them about the complete re-landscaping the property needs. They must be doing fine if they can chase away customers like that. I guess they’re too busy to take our money.

He also did a nice job of communicating with me and sending me updates as the job progressed. His guys work quickly, the bulk of my project was completed over the course of a day and a half.I'll definitely be using Galbraith's again for future projects, they do great work for a fair price.
Adam Porter: We had them landscape our front yard in 2018 and it was well done and at a great price. One of the trees didn’t survive a week or two, so Dan agreed to replace it. After multiple calls and visits to see where we are on the schedule, it’s now mid-2019 (nearly a full year later) and each time we get no answer on when we’ll have it replaced. Frustrating!!

Stan Keller: Their LED sign is way too bright at night and visually impairs drivers. I am not the only person that feels this way. The owner doesn't understand it's an actual safety issue. If you feel the same way please let them know. Otherwise they have decent plants.

They also offer an automatic 2 year warranty on shrubs which is a bonus. Totally unrelated the what I was purchasing even. Wish I could borrow Ryan and Connor to help me plant them.

They search out unique flowers and trees from up North and bring them in to ensure hardiness. They work with farmers who have a wealth of knowledge and grow healthy strong plants that will outlast us all. If you haven't been there, you are missing out!

Reena Ramos: I saw a post on their social media about houseplants, and naturally I had to go! Their houseplant room is kind of back in a hidden area near a house that's there, I recommend asking one of the kind staff members for directions. Had a bigger variety of houseplants than I thought, all for decent prices---I grabbed several syngoniums, calatheas, and a philodendron! While checking out, an employee mentioned that they only recently started in on houseplants, and they are hoping to expand their selection. Very exciting, will be back!

Stayed until after dark to finish up.Broadview did the most amazing job we have ever seen. Trees are beautiful. We had trees planted at our old home by another company. Paid way more and the job was not near the quality. We will have Broadview back to plant more soon!footnote: Our area enjoys an almost constant strong breeze ans the tall maple in our front yard developed a slight lean. I stopped in and mentioned it to the staff. Rick was out that day. Straightened the tree, staked it and all is fine. I'm getting more plants tomorrow at Broadview And no, I don't own or work there!

Lauren Sargent: I had called to order flowers for an upcoming bridal shower that I shared the date for and did not receive any concerns. I was instructed to email an inspiration picture and some details. I send the information shortly after I got off the phone and had been waiting to hear back. A couple days pasted and I followed up, but still have not heard back over a week later. I have decided on going elsewhere due to the unresponsiveness.
Fred Fenning: Have spent lots of money here but will not be going back. I tried to trade in 4 mums that my wife had bought less than an hour earlier to buy larger ones that were 4x the price but they would not do it.

Lucia Fouts: I love this greenhouse and Florist and always have.I have appreciated that they have signs on the door that say that we have to wear masks walking inside. I work at a hospital and care for sick and fragile patients and therefore this is important to me.When I walked in today to buy some things for Mother's Day and went to check out at the cashier the cashier was not wearing a mask and was also encouraging a customer to come in without a mask. When I called later to ask the manager about why they were not following their own policy and why the cashier was maskless she said the cashier couldn't wear a mask, which calls into question why she was working with the public. I suggested the cashier could wear a visor and the manager cut me off and hung up. So, sadly, one star for not sticking to your own policy. I won't be buying from you again.
Gayle Stuhrberg: They always have the most beautiful and abundant choices in their nursery, greenhouses and gift shop areas. TIL that the Indy based McNamara's bought the Sand Point while it was in bankruptcy back in the mid Aughts, so it's still the pre-eminent florist and nursery in the area.

Arbor Farms Nursery is a family owned and operated garden center and nursery that is located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Built on land that was once a working farm; the nursery still boasts a century old red barn that serves as a focal point for the 22 acre nursery. The owners, Dave and Raquel Geller, formed the business as a partnership with a friend, Dave Wenk, in 2000. Dave Geller and Dave Wenk were college roommates at Purdue University. Dave Geller earned a degree in Horticulture in 1991. Raquel earned a degree in Biology from Purdue in 1991. Dave and Raquel became sole proprietors of the nursery in 2005.
The nursery now employs 25 throughout the year. Most of the employees are avid gardeners themselves and bring experience and a passion for the industry with them.

Cyndi Martz: Such a wonderful nursery with a wonderful selection of flowers and vegetable plants. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and there was ample parking. There were always enough cards for customers and a lot of room to maneuver around the store. The space was very clean and had an incredible selection of perennials and annuals. The pricing was similar to other nurseries in the area, but much better product than what I have seen from other local nurseries
