Ruben Santos: Definately a must. Make sure you know or have an idea what you want, there's a slight language barrier but it didnt stip anything. One stop shop for Mexican food and groceries. Very good hot foods with the inhouse restaurant. They serve lunch and dinner. They have bulk hot food to go as well and a deli/butcher to take meat home to cook yourself. A baked good selection as well. Picutred from the hot food is Menudo, Chicharonis, Asada tacos, Chicharon tacos. All was very good and authentic. 10 stars!

Katie Hicks: Mi Tierra is such a great grocery store. One of my favorite for Mexican food in Fort Wayne. The meat prices here are much better than a lot of the other local stores. Their restaurant is pretty good too, very authentic food.

Rosco Jennings: They ripped me off. I order 3 beef tacos with no onions, 3 chikin tacos and 2 compenchano (spelling?). They gave me 9 tacos all decked out in sour cream and lettuce which is not how they advertise their food nor is it how I have gotten food from them MULTIPLE TIMES!!! They insist the order is correct. The quantity is completely wrong and my food looks NOTHING like it has the 5+ times I have ordered their before but the old lady INSISTS the order is made correctly. How can it be?!?! The quantity is wrong!!! So they overcharged me, and then refused to fix the order. So, y'all owe me 20 bucks. I'm gonna tell everyone in the area not to go there because they are ripping customers off. Lastly, y'all need a date with the health inspector, that place is dirty and nasty. Would not recommend for anyone to go there. I've been there plenty of times and never had a language barrier problem and that wasn't the issue. They ripped me off and refused to correct the mistake. So, I'm 45 years old and I've never order tacos before.... That's their answer?!?!Another time I went there and asked the person behind the meat counter what %fat the ground beef was, he said no fat, all beef.... What a joke of an answer, joke of a store, joke of a restaurant.

Jessica Aleman: Best international market in town. The meat and deli market has a great selection of meats and olives. Be sure to get there early on the weekends as the line gets long. We also love their house made salad and chips. The bakery is great too with tres leche cakes, fresh bread and pan dulce. My only complaint is that their parking lot is in need of some major repairs.

Peggy Rodriguez: Finally got to come from Greenwood Indiana after seeing this place on Twitter, love the entrance of Marlin Monroe and Elvis and that it shares an entrance with their Taqueria(which we ate at and it was absolutely delicious 😋) we love how big this store is and it definitely has plenty of international food item options, We had to get the (pan) Bread We seen so much on Twitter which was super soft and delicious as well we got churros, conchas and cinnamon rolls 😋

Grace E: George's has steadily reduced their Mediterranean and middle eastern products. I remember when George was small and catered to a smaller clientele. I was happy when they grew out of that store into the market they are now. They were able to reach a larger market. But now I cannot find the things I used to buy. Even their bakery has decreased its offering. All of those things are sad to me but the worst part was that I was treated like I was out of place and got horrible service. The cashier walked away on the man I was behind. Another lane was opened but other customers ran to it. So I waited another minute before I saw that the cashier was not going to return. I then ended up behind 6 people in another line. I am going to need something I cannot get anywhere else before going back.

Keren Elizzaaabeeth: I went to Indiana for a trip and came across this store. Inside was very clean and warm, I went on February and it was freezing cold and snow, when I went inside it was warm with the heater on and very friendly, I found everything I needed. I highly recommend if you go visit near Fort Wayne, stop by and you won’t regret it. 👍🏼
Travis Hackbarth: The store is within 20 steps from my home. The workers have always been friendly when I'm shopping. I've bought quite a few bath items, deodorant, and snack foods over the last couple of months since I happened across the store. It's nice to always try out different types of snacks that they have in stock.

Andrew Lomont: Food was really good. I had steak tacos and beef nachos and everything was great. Their pico degio was awesome. But for a Mexican place I was very disappointed they don't have queso dip and don't have complimentary chips and salsa. Also my waitress was very slow and non attentive I had to get up and go to get my own things after waiting for her. Sad part was I could see her behind the counter playing on her phone and chatting with other employees. I'm afraid I won't be returning. Fed 3 people for $43.00.

Sometimes there is no work so do not wait til the last min to order masa or pick ur order up. If you show up for a pick up and the door is locked 🔒, Call, most likely they are working in the back and if you knock no one will hear you. This place has been around for 50+years. Run by family.
