Brandi Curtis: The work is great but attitudes not so much. Late to appointments, left a minor in the store because she had somewhere more important to be. Dont you think the parent did too when you were 30 min late to an appointment time you scheduled! Then gets a nasty attitude because the other child ended up being scared to go and the appointment is cancelled? Who gets an attitude when they are paid full price including a deposit for a style they did not do? Most people wouldnt pay in full and would of just left you with the deposit, but has an attitude and calls someone unprofessional? What a way to treat your customers.
M B: I hired Something Different to do my hair and makeup for my wedding, and they did a great job! They did my hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids, my mom and mother in law.

J Combs: Had an appointment and I show up and the place was closed with no explanation and no call or email. I waited 40 minutes for benefit of the doubt, but nothing. They also messed up my hair horribly before, I just had no one else to go to.

Deadra Strawn: I arrived at the location at 10:00 am on the button Saturday morning, April 2nd to see about a color and cut. The gates where still shut and everything was closed. I looked at the posted times, Saturday 10-6. Under the hours posting sign was a large sign with the managers number. I called and asked if this was Smart Style and she said yes. I then asked what time they open on Saturdays....she then hangs up on me!!!! I've tried calling her name back numerous times and her phone is now OFF!! First and last visit for sure, the owners should find a more responsible manager!! Would not recommend to anyone!!

I get there and the stylist tells me she isn't cutting any more hair. Okay, Im annoyed but it happens. Third trip in 2 stylist , 2 women getting haircuts, no waiting.I walk in and let them know Im here for a cut. Its 1 pm. Stylist comes over to ask me what Id like. I tell her a haircut. Preferably one that would work with my curly hair. She tells me I can't tell you how to cut your hair! Only you can do that. Okay fine, lets do a bob then. Well we cant do it today because we both have other cuts scheduled at 2 pm. Three strikes and your out. Ultra beauty has opened their salon practically next door. Sports cuts is even closer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

Sheila Renfrow: On November 19th I had the worst service ever. I told the young girl how I wanted my hair cut and it was pretty simple. She didn’t even know how to do it because she had to ask another worker to help her on cutting my hair. It was the worst ever and I still had to pay full price. I was so mad I left and went down the street to get it fixed from another salon. So I just spent 50.00 for a hair cut in one day . A Babs: I was in Ft. Wayne for a trip and needed a wash and set. This salon had good reviews so I took a chance and scheduled an appointment. The process to do so was simple and the staff was very courteous. I was scheduled with Shalonda, who was great. She was warm, knowledgeable, and skilled. The salon gets major bonus points because they run on time and continue with COVID precautions (both very important to me). The atmosphere in the salon is very friendly.
