Dandelion Girl: John repaired 2 antique lamps for me. One was my mother's old gas lamp. He safely rewired it, cleaned it up and straightened the part that holds the shade. He exceeded our expectations on this lamp by making it easier to turn on and off with a switch at the bottom. The other lamp he repaired was a 1940s gooseneck desk lamp that was not wired correctly. This lamp was rewired safely and I am now comfortable using it. He made this lamp even better by replacing the brass bulb holder with a silver one to match the lamp!John was very gracious. He played the lovely Wurlitzer carousel organ for us as well as his beautiful player piano. We loved hearing about some of the other wonderful antiques. It was great to be in the historical home and a nice bonus. His prices are very reasonable. The repairs are done correctly and promptly.
