Pen And Pink Vintage: what do users think?
Rico Salcedo: The Owner is a sweetheart an helped me an my sister out to pick a Christmas gift for my mom with a 25 dollar gift card my sister won at a church. She was a big help an we love her cat!! This place has lots of old school stuff for parents that they would love as gifts for the holidays.
Shannon Sandridge: Everything in this shop is great quality! The owner clearly does an exceptional job of curating her selection. It's all books worth buying - no junky pages full of scribbles or barely-there bindings or the other vices you see in a lot of secondhand bookstores. It's a real vintage collection, at great prices, too!She also has a lot of nice reprints of classics like Jane Austen, along with notebooks, book paper flowers, and a bunch of other little things that make great gifts for book lovers. 10/10 would recommend stopping in!
Brandon R: Cute little used book store. A lot of old books and some new copies of classics.
Angie Barnett: I love this place ❤️! It has so much variety. I couldn't make up my mind what to buy. A book? An upcycled/handmade journal made from original vintage art? Owner is great. Went home and made my decision on her website! #buylocal #shoponline Can't make it to the shop? Her website has so much. Price point is perfect during these times. I will be buying Christmas from her too!

The overall vibe is a warm welcoming environment. The owner was so sweet and very welcoming. When we come back to Indy, we will be stopping by again. 💜
Megan That's All: The owner was so friendly, and I love that she recycles old album covers and magazines into useful and beautiful one of a kind items. I was happy to purchase here! She had a tub of waters available for anybody passing by, and was so knowledgeable about Indiana writers. I will definitely come back when I’m in the area again. The on-site kitty is so cute and friendly!
Don Fucik: The owner is very nice, with an old school friendly service type caring personality full of enthusiasm and an eye for quality, rare, interesting gems of great variety. If you like great condition old rare books, postcards, album covers, and other neat stuff you will not find elsewhere, this is a must go and see place. The cats are cool too.
Rachel Ferguson: This little place is a hidden gem! The owner is so kind, knows every book and author, books are in great shape, and there is an adorable friendly cat in the store. I picked up several unique postcards that had been mailed in the '40s - only a few dollars each. So glad to find such an awesome store in my neighborhood.

Scott Levine: A good variety of toys, games, and books, including a lot of things that you won't find at "big box" stores. Much stronger selection of educational toys than you'll find elsehere. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and have good knowledge of their products.

I've emailed them for book recs and gift ideas, paid over the phone, and picked up in store. They are so accommodating, with many ways to shop.
Chelsea McDonald: We LOVE 4 Kids. I recommend it to everyone we know. They truly care about their customers. When Covid hit they transitioned to curbside pick up and even free delivery on certain days. Easter 2020 couldn’t have happened without their dedication to providing for their customers. My daughter and I went to their free “Paint a Story” class on Mondays almost every week for 2 years. Cynthia and her staff are just awesome. I can’t say enough!
Clay Shaw: Great experience! Truly, this is how buying kids gifts should be.
Pamala Roessner: Owner is SO helpful! If you need anything she can find it!
Carrie Mitchell: This is my favorite toy store to shop for my 5 year old daughter, and as she grows I will continue to shop there. They have toys and books for baby to preteen. This is the only place I go to get unique gifts for birthdays we attend, they have gift cards too. The store is always changing product so their are always new things to browse. The owner and her employees are helpful and they wrap things for you free of charge (in the best selection of wrapping prints)! This place is my go to!! Worth the trip!
Linda Bean: Friendly, helpful, unique gifts
Christine Biech: Great store.
Bonnie Madley: Oh my gosh!! What a fabulous store! Our 3 Grandsons are young men now, wish I had a wonderful store like this 20 years ago.I walked in Sunday, 3/11/19, looking for a birthday gift for a adorable, energetic 3 year old boy, had several ideas presented by a very knowledgeable owner. Same experience selecting a book. What a giant asset to this Carmel/Zionsville community. And, they gift wrap! They were hits with the birthday boy AND his parents. Thank you, 4 Kids Books and Toys and its amazing owner!!!!
Meghan Knigga: This place was wonderful and the people here were so terrific! My kids loved roaming around and I love that they had some of the toys out so that they could be interactive. The fact that they took things from me as I went and wrap them was so helpful!
Nathaniel Edmunds Photography: This little book store is simply one of the best! I’ve been taking my children here since it opened and then moves to its current location. Don’t know what to buy!? Not sure how to get your child to live to read?! Then walk in and the owner will give you plenty of advice. She knows all of the books she carries. She will give you ideas for each child based on their interests. I love book stores, and this one is special. There isn’t an enormous collection but it is just right. She also carries wonderful toys. Perfect gift giving selections.
Andrew Pool: We've been to two birthday parties here for 3-4 year olds and they were great! The staff are extremely helpful, they have activities for the kids and keep changing the activities to keep the kids attention. Highly recommend, we will be having our kid's birthday here in the future if we can get on the schedule! The store is also very well stocked and has an amazing variety of books and toys.
Chantel Weigel: This is such a great, unique toy store. They have it well laid out so that there is always something for the kids to play with safely while I browse. It's nice for finding unique gifts and I really love that they have a selection of adult books at the front so I can browse those while the kids are playing. They also have some free morning programs a couple of times a week. Really, really neat place.
Shannon Wilson: So thankful for a true kids book and toy store! Great place and selection for age appropriate books!
Anne Quinn: This is the best book and toy store. So many unique choices and options for award winning games, puzzles and books. Plus, lots of activities for kid participation throughout the week. And they have complimentary gift wrap!!

Books & Brews: what do users think?
Michelle Thornburg: Books and Brews is a great place to go to hang out and play board games or read while enjoying beer, wine, or in my case a Root Beer. They have a great variety of books to choose from as well as a great selection of Magic cards to choose from. Besides, alcohol, books, and games to choose from they have a scaled back selection of Funko POPs to choose from. I was not disappointed with their selection. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys hanging out with like-minded people that enjoy Catan, Magic, collecting Funko POPs, and having book club discussions there. Also, for the avid collector don't forget about the Toy Pit just a couple of doors down!!!Check Books and Brews website for live music, too!!!
Tony Troxell: Really busy evening, but the staff worked as quickly as possible, and were really friendly as they did so. Good food, good beer, and good music on a Saturday night.
Mike Schmidt: This place was great. They had a lot of great finds. I didn't try any of the drinks, but the shop is top notch
Mark Lewis: Always a great time at B&B! Not a huge food menu but what you get is always tasty, and their beers are well made and hit the spot.
Joshua Cain: Nice little place. Live music on nights. Karaoke on some. Very nice adult beverages to avail yourself of should you choose to. The place had a nice warm atmosphere and only got better as the night progressed. The food that is available also deserves a solid 8.
Daniel Walter: Great trivia night on Wednesday, good food and reasonable price
Katie Euliss: I stopped in for the Valentine's Day deal - a delicious grilled cheese and a soup for $12.99. Everything tried during the visit included: two beers (Hophiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Cream & Punishment); the classic grilled cheese; a pretzel with beer cheese; wings; and coleslaw. The portions were huge, and the food was absolutely amazing. I can't even nit-pick something to try to complain about (even if I wanted to - which I don't). Also, I definitely have to mention how top-notch the service was. This is going to become one of my favorite places - I can already tell. I can't wait to go back. Don't let the tucked-away location keep you away! This place is awesome. Thanks for reading my review. Have a great day!
Maria Karber: I love, love, love that they are open for lunch during the week again. I brought my laptop and worked for a couple hours while enjoying delicious food and just loving the atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.
Morgan G: Great beer selection on tap. Friendly staff. There's tables here to play board games and card games. They have games or you can bring your own. Also great place to do homework or just read your favorite book!! They have mug club and open mic nights on Thursday. Very friendly environment to hang out with friends. The food is good!! They do also sell Pokémon cards, sports cards and other cards.
Ryan Holloway: Had a great time at Books & Brews for the Yule Ball. It's an all ages venue so my wife and I were able to bring our baby with to enjoy his first Harry Potter event. The food and beer were great and the place had a great vibe. Can't wait to go back.
Ann-Marie Valdez: We regularly go to Books & Brews. Great atmosphere, kid friendly and awesome staff.
Martin Flaherty: Still a favorite place to go. Always a lot of fun and great place to just hang out and visit. Very tasty beer selection and good munchies. And a new selection of beers. They're wonderful!Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No Delivery: No Curbside pickup: No …More
Lainey B: They have several kombucha options. A good spot to have sandwiches and snacks. Good to play board games or check out their variety of events. They have a mug club which gives you discounts on their beers.
Joseph Caldwell: When I die and go to heaven I will be instantly transported to Books and Brew. I played Super Mario Bro., Tecmo Bowl and Punch Out and drank beer. They will have to kick me out when they close, this place is paradise for nerds.
Rachael Caldwell: I fell in love with this place for the second I walked in.They have a gaming station as well as a lot of books to browse. The beer selection was not a lot in terms of quantity but the quality was great. I tried two IPA’s and both were superb. We bought 3 pop funkos, 2 books and many beers for under $100.I recommend a visit 10/10! We will be back. 👍🏼
Tim G: An inviting and varied space, tables and chairs for playing games or reading - then a stage and benches for karaoke and other musical performances, there's a lot that B&B offers, and it seems to deliver on all of these different angles quite well without being under or overwhelming or seeming to play favorites with any one in particular.A big draw of course is the bar - with its pallet of drinks as colorful as the hand-written menu sprawled across the walls behind. Something to suit your regular tastes, or something new for you to try to match your current mood.Friendly staff, very clean, organized with at least a bit of (what admittedly I have never before said aloud or in text,) whimsy.Game, geek and literary inspired everything- save perhaps the bathroom, games to buy, play, watch, and a great deal of interesting, playable and even collectible wares to purchase for your home or for a friend.
Abdul-Brian Mohammed: This is for the Hobby Shop. Terrible experience with Wuerf. Dont buy his overpriced products.
Andy Alam: We have stupendous service here. Best selection of Pokemon cards in the area. They have karaoke the last Friday in the month. Beer selection is always exceptional. Fantastic place to take the family.
Adam Pitzele: Unfortunately it's not what it used to be since emerging from COVID. Still some good offerings but most of it is now guest taps. Hopefully they can recover because the place has a lot of character and some of their beer is very good.
Nancy Andi: First time here but won't be the last. Very chill place to come after work and the bar tenders were super helpful and friendly. Loved the nerd atmosphere and great beer. The pretzel and beer cheese was delicious! Can't wait to come back!
Victor Arellano: Love this place dearly.

Lainey B: Great local book shop that also has adult education classes.
Jordan Irwin: I donated a small canvas bags of books that I used to love. The greeting received was from a notepad on the front desk stating SOMEONE was indeed in the building. The first woman to greet me looked like she didn’t belong there, just meek and confused. The woman who DID know what was going on informed me donations (if good enough for your standards!) are only accepted on the first Friday. She then repeated it not once, not twice, but three times. Thankfully my books met your standard of quality, so she took my donated books. Not one thank you or have a nice day from anyone. I will now gladly donate, purchase, and read elsewhere in Indy.
Sarah W: Delightful bookstore! Always a great selection, wonderful vibes, and they have an awesome mission!

Christof Will: If you are a whovian, this is the place for you. Can't afford to fly to London and go the shop in East Ham, then come here. Half museum, half collectibles this place is actuually BETTER than the Dr. Who store in London. A must see for diehard fans or those with an emerging interest. Clothes, toys, games, comics, and so much more. I always buy something just to make sure they know their presence is appreciated. I can't wait to go back.
Eric Craig: So awesome. If you're a Whoovian, you NEED to go!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More
Elijah Barnwell: ORANGEREDREDBLUEGREENGREENGREENBLACKBLUEORANGE
Jenna Eshleman: Super friendly staff, amazing selection, great prices... this place is any fan's dream come true!
Noah Reed: Awesome place.
David Petty: Great experience for any Whovian! Lots-I mean LOTS- of genuine merchandise as well as a small museum of merchandise related to the show from over the years.Free arcade was pretty neat, too!
Chelsea Sullivan: Wow what a selection!! Plan to spend a little time in here, between the store and the museum. The talking Dalek at the door is super cool, but not for sale! Lol
Autumn Vail: Love love love!
Kim Fitzpatrick: For a Whovian this is a must go. Not only is it a store but also a small museum.
Richard Deverell: I visited here back on July 30th 2020. It is exactly the kind of store a Whovian or fan of other British sci-fi will love. A huge collection of DVD sets and audio dramas, tons of books (many of which are hard-to-find online), lots of toys, costumes, props, and more. It really is an amazing store that seems little on the outside and is as big as the TARDIS on the inside. It also has material from Blake's 7, HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and other sci-fi! If you're traveling near here, I highly recommend visiting for the experience of shopping in such a great store!
Jason Sullivan: A true Whovian paradise! This place has it all! (Almost) I have heard about Who North America for years and finally has the opportunity to see it for myself. It was worth the 3 hour drive!
David Tade: Great store ..all Dr Who
c renfro: Always a great time.
Tony Grimes: You wouldn’t think a smallish museum located about 20 minutes south of Indy would be as awesome as it is but you would be wrong. Full of collectibles to buy and a museum that’s just so much fun you can’t go wrong. They even have a full size Dalek. If you’re in the area you have stop and take a look.
Gammy Ziener: I love that this place exists! If you enjoy doctor who and live anywhere near here; I recommend stopping by!Or if you're passing through Indianapolis and consider yourself a whovian, it's well worth the brief detour. I stop by every chance I get. So many treasures and a museum to admire as well! I always find the coolest stuff here! The owner is one of the nicest guys. Always a pleasure to visit.Only wish I could purchase online.

Lisa N: Fantastic store with an impressive collection.
Cari Morales: Wow. What an awesome Indy Gem! Absolutely loved this bookstore! After googling Indianapolis bookstores, my partner and I landed on this cute little book store in Broad Ripple. I was shopping for a 4 and 2 year old and their board book collection was excellent! They even gift wrapped our books for our little loved ones and recommended we come back since their books rotate. We will definitely be back!

When I arrived at their store, they had a small stack of books, preselected, for me to look through. I found what I needed and with only 2 days until Christmas, I was thrilled!
