Sarai Hernandez: This was my first time at this hotel coming from 3 hours away and I was treated great by the staff. Room was clean and I just felt comfortable being away from home. Had a restful sleep and the ladies who work in the food area by the entrance are very kind and even took the time to explain menu choices to us. I appreciated the bilingual staff and their professionalism. Highly recommend to stay here and will be definitely staying here again whenever I’m back in Indy.Rooms: Comfy and clean.Walkability: Close to downtown. Very walkable.

ADSN TV: Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis provided a wonderful experience during this year's NFL combine. The room was very clean and spacious. There were lots of lighting options in the room. There were also plenty of outlets for charging via power cord or USB. Loved the swivel TV mount to allow viewing from anywhere in the room. The movable desk was please because it allowed you to sit more comfortably while working or eating.The fridge and microwave were put to good use on the lengthier work days of the trip.The hotel had a full bar and dining, which made things very convenient on heavier work days. The bar tender was fast, friendly, and had some really great inventive drinks. There are large TVs to watch your favorite game or program. They have an I door pool and fitness center. The hotel was conveniently located near all of the venues we worked during the event.It is just two blocks from a full service grocery store to stock up on essential items for long stays. And there are several eateries within walking distance from the hotel. Some of the city's most iconic restaurants and attractions are only a fifteen to twenty minute walk from the hotel ...or a short Uber ride away. (Less than $10 dollars)Good rates were available.But the most amazing aspect of the hotel was its employees. The service was top-notch. The staff knew the city well and gave good selections, directions, and suggestions on where to go for food and fun as well as work venues. They really make you feel at home.The business center is located right in the main lobby area.They also have a gated parking lot if you are driving. Brandy Day: The room was pretty clean. We didn't have any hot water was told they should be there to turn the gas on in the next two hours. Woke up the next day to no hot water again.

Benjamin Martinez: For a hotel room or a motel room and especially for downtown's and for the money I spent for 2 days I think it should had been better I'm in a wheelchair and we got a room for wheelchair accbilty and the bathroom the shower was small it was not easy to get or out oh I feel like I should had at least got a free night especially the heater it really wasn't keeping the room heated for me the lobby and outside was nice but room give it 2 stars I wish they would had gave me a extra night but I know they won't would i go back and stay if its free ya

Crystal Takacs: Very pleasant stay and would recommend and stay here again. We received amazing customer service from every employee that we encountered. We were in town for a very large cheer competition and they didn’t hesitate to accommodate an early check in and late check out that was needed. They are very knowledgeable about the area as well. We were on the first floor and even with a large cheer competition and cheer teams staying there our room was quiet and we had no noise disturbances.The only negative were the hours of the Bistro. They are limited and not open for lunch and close early. And they did not have a shaker to make the expresso martini that is advertised on their menu.If you are looking for some place clean, quiet, great customer service, and walking distance to convention center, mall, several restaurants, look no further!

Sydney Newsome: I didnt stay here but I was sent here from Residence Inn for the Bistro. (It is closed on Sundays and Mondays, btw). Devin at the front desk was super helpful in finding a place to eat for dinner and helping me with directions on how to get there. He even provided a delivery list for local restaurants since i hesitant in leaving and coming back. (I am from a small town of 700 people, so this traffic is too much for me.) If I ever had to come back to Indy, id book at this hotel just based on Devins helpfulness.

Melinda Miley: Booked a room and received confirmation that everything was good to go. Two days before our reservation the hotel cancels our room. The hotel did not provide a reason, but they did send me an email saying that I would receive a full refund. Two weeks go by and I still did not receive the refund. I sent an email and received no response. I called the property and FINALLY got through to an operator. The woman who answered the phone tried to tell me that I was the one who canceled and therefore I could not be refunded - which was not true. It wasn't until I told her I had an email from the property stating I would receive a full refund that she finally agreed to issue the refund. She was extremly rude, argumentative, and acted as if the ordeal was my fault (all I wanted was my money back). So not only did the hotel cancel my reservation 24 hours before I was due to arrive, but I had to fight to get my refund. Bottom line: This was a horrible experience and I would advise others to not bother with this hotel. We stayed at the Staybridge Suits outside Indianapolis instead and it absolutely wonderful - much better than this poorly organized and managed hotel.

Until I found bugs in my room..I proceeded to find 3 bugs in my bed, 2 bugs were crawling on the walls, and noticed 3 more on the office desk.I notified the front desk, and they were very apologetic, offered me complimentary breakfast or drinks.Make sure you check your room upon arrival and switch if you find the same issue I did..

J D: Nice and clean hotel. Shuttle ride fromairport took 15 min and did not seem close to airport. I still do not know why Courtyards do not include some kind of breakfast like other Marriott properties. The food selection is limited and seems very pricy for how much food or drink you get.

Madeline Berger: This hotel was clean and the staff were exceedingly friendly. I came down on Christmas morning to be greeted by Diana. She was so kind and made a delicious breakfast and coffee for me. We ended up chatting for about two hours and she was very sweet. My travel plans got derailed by a canceled flight and I wasn’t able to wake up with my family on Christmas morning, however my stay at the Courtyard made the change in plans all the more bearable. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody! The staff service was wonderful!

Angie K: Stayed here for one night the weekend of Thanksgiving bc of it’s proximity to the airport and a very early flight.Our first impression was walking in the door to a man almost running us over, loudly yelling and scolding kids that were doing something in the market area. I had no idea that he worked there until he looked at us and said he’d be right with us if we were checking in. The way he spoke to those children made it seem like they were his, not hotel patrons. He did not speak appropriately for an employee. He was also very rude to me. After going back and forth about the length of our stay and room type/ charge, etc he said oh I see you want a high floor, can I put you on the first floor? Then he proceeded to tell me not to walk too fast on my way to the elevator-what does that even mean? He spoke very condescending to me, even bringing the other employee next to him in on it. It was a very bizarre interaction, and he had a misplaced power trip.The room smelled terrible and because of that it felt dirty (even though it wasn’t). We had a junior suite and the beds were placed all the way at the end of a long, odd room - it’s not a big deal, but it just felt uncomfortable. Maybe it was the whole interaction I’d had with this man that set the tone for the stay.When we left at 3:30 in the morning, their out of service shuttle bus and another empty vehicle (I’m going to assume was an employee bc it was raining very hard at what would have been shift change) were blocking the driveway of the covered loading zone. It was pouring buckets out, so we had to go out into the pouring rain with our luggage instead of being able to pull under the cover that is intended for loading/ unloading. There was a charter bus that could barely get the door under cover for the athletes to load, and another car had backed up to the very small empty space to try and get under the cover. It’s small things that make a big deal in hospitality.I will avoid staying here if I’m ever in the area again. Aside from it needed a major renovation, the employees need major training in hospitality and appropriate ways to interact with customers.

Family Adickes: Very nice, new, clean hotel with excellent service. The rooms are truly brand new and large. We had adjoining rooms becuase we had our kids and we were not stepping all over each other due to the large amount of space. Tony helped out with a billing question I had which ended up just being my own misunderstanding. We travel a lot with kids and this is a great place to stay.

Brandon Eddy: I thought the amenities that were given were great. I assume it's a little busier during the week because it tailors more towards a business crowd. I mainly booked here because it had good reviews and was right off the highway on my way back north to Milwaukee. I did have to kill a hornet and bunch of flies when I got into my room. Only a couple more flies wandered in throughout the day. We didn't feel like leaving so we went downstairs and got dinner from the bistro. I got the Caesar salad and the bistro burger with an arugula salad. They didn't have the arugula so I basically had a big Caesar salad and then a small one for a side. The food was fine. You pay for the convenience of not leaving and not necessarily the quality. Overall, I was there for just over 12 hours so it served it's purpose.Nearby activities: A lot of Mexican restaurants nearby.Walkability: Right off the highway, easier to get around in a car.Food & drinks: The Starbucks coffee downstairs was solid.

Amanda Reynolds: Me and my husband stayed here for my friends wedding that she was having in their conference room. The bride and groom along with 2 of our other friends stayed in one of their rooms as well. The staff was super friendly upon arrival! The hotel was clean, room was nice and clean as well. Everyone that worked that day was absolutely amazing. They got us anything we needed for the reception set up. The bartenders during the reception were amazing as well I literally cannot say anything bad about them. Even once they closed the bar at 10pm, the lady working that night got us anything we needed as we continued to drink in the reception room and outside. She brought us lemons and limes, ice and even helped us put leftover food in their walkin so the bride and groom could take it home the next day. They lit the fireplace for us so we could stay warm while we were outside. We weren't a rowdy group by any means and we stayed out relatively late but they didnt mind. I would definitely stay here again bc everyone and everything was so amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

When I told the front desk person just said "it's that time of year and they're looking for somewhere to go.
