Bluebeard: what do users think?
Natalie Meyer: I absolutely love this restaurant! I have never had a bad meal here and always have fantastic service. So many delicious things to try on the menu! I personally love the cauliflower, the beet salad and the brussels sprouts! But honestly, I’ve tried a number of different things here and all of them were delicious! This is also a fantastic place to get dessert! Always a rotating menu of different items in the bread pudding is to die for! This place is an absolute must for anyone visiting or living in Indianapolis!Vegetarian options: Lots of good options if you’re not a meat eater.

Poncho Prieto: y he atmosphere was great, the place is so cozy yet modern. the attention was adequate and careful. the menu was beyond my expectations, it felt fresh and innovative, there are not many places with such offer. i had a wonderful timeRecommended dishes Charcuterie Board, Falafel …More

daisy: Beware of this place if you're not a local. We went there and were told it would be a 45 min wait. We waited at the Bar. The bartenders are very friendly, the only reason this place sucks its because they give the preference of seating to the locals. The couple in front of us in line got seated right away. We were told it would be 45 mins. 2 1/2 hours later, they called us telling us there were 3 people ahead of us. How was that possible? The restaurants doesn't take reservations. We were forced to eat at the bar. As I mentioned, if you are not a local, you will have to wait to get seated a couple of hours. We will make sure we tell others from Texas to avoid this place when traveling to Indy.
Caleb Garrison: Lovely night out and great service!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Buttermilk Bread Pudding, Tartine …More
A Zach: Love the restaurant, but if you happen to get on their wait-list later at night, make sure to take the 'responsibility' to ensure that you'll get to have dinner before they close or else you're SOL. Most unfortunate.

Goober Wolfgang: Meh. Food wasn't really anything special, it was food... quite expensive food for how bland it was. No offense to the restaurant but you could probably get a more flavorful food item at mcdonalds... also was fairly expensive for how meh it was. Tater tots were BUSSIN though. The Interior design was really confusing and didn't really go together o_O.. it was kinda freaking me out! Some of the stuff in there was cool thoughVegetarian options: It has a few vegetarian optionsParking: There's no parking lot so you have to park on the side of the road or another plot nearby
Jackie Fleenor: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Oysters on the Half ShellMore
Hannes Breuninger: We had a little wait when we arrived which got covered by their "speak easy" bar in the next house.Service was excellent, the bread and butter was great and my main dish - the pork belly - was too!It was a bit pricey but definitely did not feel like a rip off to me. Would come again.
Kristina Harvey: The food was good! I like that there is a rotating menu of seasonal items.Kid-friendliness: I would say not kid oriented.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Bread Plate Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options Free street parking, Paid street parking …More
Charlotte Hughes: The food was delicious and the cocktails were good. The reason for the three stars was honestly due to the server we had. She was rude and when we entered the hostess was a bit confrontational. I would say go for the food but don’t expect super friendly or understanding servers. Food and atmosphere were great but just not great customer service
Ruth Armao: Awesome food!! There is not a dish on the menu that doesn't sound delicious!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Charcuterie Board …More

Oakleys Bistro: what do users think?
Zachary Gardenhire: We went for lunch and it was great. The menu had several good options, and the service was good. The price was only slightly more than fast food now charges, and the quality was immeasurably better. Great lunch option.
Tasha Fierce: Wow. I didn't know Indianapolis had a restaurant with delicious food until I tried this place. Everything was superb and I got it to go.Food: 5/5 …More
Charles Perkins: Amazing 👏
Bill Crouch: Honestly, I have the opportunity to eat all over the country and I felt the service to be slow and the food to be average with a menu not geared for those who don’t have a broad palette. When I have to hunt down the server more than once, that is a major issue at that price point. The manager was obviously just going through the motions, looked over at us but never engaged in a meaningful way. I’d keep looking if you are a foodie that likes stellar service.
Jason Mazza: Always delivers. Great food and solid atmosphere!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Nicki Rough: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Lobster Waffle, Shrimp CorndogMore
Julie Whitman: Food was incredible, service was extremely attentive, lovely atmosphere. Went for lunch and I had the roasted butternut squash soup and the brussel sprout Caesar salad, and chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was so delicious. Quality ingredients and a true chef's touch with the flavors and textures. I would definitely come back here.Vegetarian options: Great veggie optionsParking: Big parking lot
Josh Scism: This used to be the premiere gourmand restaurant in Indy. We’ve gone for years and years but lately the service and quality have fallen off. We had a terrible experience last visit culminating with a walk out. When chatting with other foodie friends since, they echo our poor experience. Fairly pricey and menu not updated for quite some time which is also a bad sign for this once great restaurant.
Nakul Valsangkar: AmazIng as usual. Delivered yet again. Never been disappointed in the 10+ times we have been here.Recommended dishes Foie Gras Mousse, Shrimp Corndog …More
Jon Happe: The food was fantastic. The duck was great and my wife said the risotto was the best she has ever had. We’ll definitely be back!
Mr. 2 (E): Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Wild Mushroom Paella, Shrimp CorndogMore
Jessica Wilkerson: The experience at Oakleys was very "meh". Overall I definitely feel like it wasn't worth the money. Waste of $200 in our opinion. There are too many other good options in Indy to waste a night out here. The service was good. Our server was sweet and attentive, but the food was not impressive in the slightest. My husband and I felt that our entrees did not make sense. They just were very odd mixtures of items and we didn't feel like they meshed well. We also felt the food was bland and didn't have great flavor.Overall, the food was very lackluster, and the presentation was odd. Very expensive for the quality. We won't be returning.
David Mitchell: Very good highly recommend the cream bruleeFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chocolate Whiskey Cake, Shrimp Corndog …More
Brian Shapiro: Best chef in Indy
Eric Phillips: If this place was in LA or New York, you would gladly pay 3x the price. This is an amazing hidden gem. 5 Star!
shanna modisette: The shrimp corn dog is incredible. Love the entire menu. Can't go wrong with anything.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Blaise Truesdell: I was really looking forward to this place based on how good the reviews are. Food looked amazing but tasted pretty mediocre. Heavily salted but little actual flavor. I am fairly certain that I got food poisoning from the cocktail with an egg white in it.We were incredibly disappointed especially considering how expensive it was.Dietary restrictions: Very few actually gluten free options.
Suzanne Hertl: A very mediocre dinner and dining experience. Food was expensive, over salted and over dressed. The server had very little Intel on GF and non- alcoholic options - also failed to mention that the Strip Steak special was over $50 (well over the top listed entree on the menu) - we are new in town and was excited to try somewhere new- but then disappointed
Lori Wanko: Venue is more understated than the food quality, which is well above average. Their cocktail list is impressiveFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Tony's of Indianapolis: what do users think?
Robert FUlk: Poor service! Forget items! Steak 🥩 ordered medium brought out rare! Kids at bar acting like they’re in dating show all rubbing and flirting with each other instead of doing their job! Manager kept sitting at end of bar playing on phone rather than managing. Will not be coming back!
Bryndon Preston: It's elegant, the service is amazing, and the food is absolutely delicious. It's safe for people with food allergies because everything is made from scratch in the kitchen. Our meal was beautifully presented, and our server did an incredible job guiding us through the meal and the choices available. This is one of the few places in town and in the Midwest where you can get a legitimate crab cake. It was So Good! The Sea Bass was incredible and perfectly prepared. Every part of this meal was crafted with care.If you want to "Wow" someone with a dining experience, Tony's is a fantastic choice. These are not Texas Roadhouse prices, but they aren't any more expensive than Sullivan's or Ruth's Chris, and the food is phenomenal!!For your next big meal or celebration, give Tony's a try. You won't be sorry that you did!Dietary restrictions: The food is made from scratch and all dietary restrictions can be accommodated. If you have questions about your restrictions, please contact the restaurant in advance.
Deidra Loyd: This was my first time here. The staff was friendly and engaging. The atmosphere was beautiful, and the ambiance was there! We started off with cocktails. They were good and well balanced. I had a (2) margaritas, and my friend had lemon drop martinis. The fresh bread and butter spread was delicious. I had a wedge salad that was fresh and nice and crispy. My friend had crab cakes that she said were "just ok." Our entrees were the Ribeye, and she had I believe the T-bone. This is where the problems began. I requested my steak to be prepared well...no pink....my friend requested hers be medium, and we ordered loaded baked potatoes. The food was a little slow to come out, but that wasn't too bad, as we were enjoying our drinks. When the food finally arrives, they are cooked inaccurately. Mine was as she'd requested and vice versa. The baked potatoes were luke-warm and tasted old. The server took our food back to be corrected, and the manager came to address us. He was friendly and genuinely concerned. The food came back... still not good. I was given the same steak... cooked to the point that it was totally dry and tough ( i know i asked for well done, but geesh)and my friends' steak was various temperatures and levels of doneness. Mine was so bad I couldn't eat it. To top it off, there was barely any seasoning, and no matter how much salt I and steak sauce, I added flavor still evaded my pallet. The replacement baked potatoes were just as bad if not worse than the 1st ones. When the manager came out to check on us, we expressed our disappointment to him. We told him we would still pay as the communication was mostly to help them improve for the next customer. He was apologetic and offered us a free dessert and took 1 of the baked potatoes . My friend was not happy with our server and felt as if he was rushing and dismissive. He wasn't that bad imo, however I did understand how she felt. Overall I was not satisfied with my experience. For a dining experience that cost over $280 I had higher expectations. Needless to say we will not be back. How do you do so badly serving up the main thing you're featuring....Tony's Steak House had horrible steak. I still wanted a good steak, so the next day, I made my own and it was delicious. Oh I also got sick that night throwing up with diarrhea so that absolutely did not help my opinion of my experience with Tony's.
Caitlyn Jones: Everything was amazing! We had a large group, but Angela did a great job! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. I had the filet mignon and it was delicious! You have to try the sweet potatoes! I’m not a huge sweet potato fan, but those were like eating a dessert! Definitely recommend!
Jasmine May: Service is amazing the food isn’t .
Mier Cat: The dry aged New York strip bone in is to die for! Highly recommend! Chocolate martini is great as well. Very nice server.
Wendy Buckler: Our party of 6 celebrated 2 birthdays. I messed up on Open Table and made our reservation at the wrong location. They were quick to find us a place in the bar to accommodate. Lucky we were dining early that night. Service was impeccable as expected and the entrees were delightful. The sides were fine. The desserts were average. Hubby had the bone in ribeye, which I normally won’t even try but I had a bite and it was beautifully seasoned and melted in my mouth! I ordered the Chilean sea bass and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It came on a bed of oats, which I did at all. Not sure who inspired that but next time, I’ll be asking for a sub on that. Friends ordered the Pappardelle fra diavolo and split it and still took home leftovers. They said it was spicy but so good and would highly recommend it. Another ordered the shrimp and grits, which came with a coffee based sauce so what your normally see as a light colored dish was brown. He loves coffee and enjoyed the dish but said he would not recommend it. Said the coffee overpowered the dish. The last order was the pistachio pesto orecchiette, which was also a giant order. We all felt like it was a little dry and could use a tad more sauce but it was delicious. Our family sized sides included Mac & cheese, blah, nothing special, Bourbo whipped sweet potatoes, yum!, and creamed spinach, bland. I forgot we did order a jumbo lump crab cake, which perfectly describes its perfection. Would highly recommend it. For dessert, our birthday guy and gal were each brought a confection that were shared by everyone and neither was completely consumed. I ordered the crème brûlée and felt like was having a pudding. Bring your appetite and your piggy bank but so worth it!
Danny Powell: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Peter Kennedy: My wife and I went there tonight for our 25th anniversary. Food was amazing! I had a steak and my wife have the pesto pasta. After we finished with our dinner, they surprised us with a wonderful chocolate cake for our anniversary! Our servers, Zay and Bobby, we absolutely awesome!! We will definitely be going back!
bryanbennett davenport: Dinner at Tony's for Father's day. Party of five. The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic. The Tuna Tartare and the Beef Tartar appetizers are fantastic. The steaks were all excellent. Service was spot on. Great attention to detail. Tony's is our go to spot for the special family event. It never disappoints, and we look forward to returning. Returned to Tony's on 02-20-2023 for dinner. As always it was excellent. I highly recommend the crab cake. Not a cheap evening, but great food, great atmosphere, great service. This is fine dining!
Jeff Westbrook: Cool spacious atmosphere, live music and thankfully not dungeon dark like so many higher end eateries. Enthusiastic and knowledgablestaff, great wine suggestion from our server Bill. We both tried the filet, and I think between the server, the cook and the delivery person my wife and my steaks got switched.Other than that all the food was top notch, good flavors and cooked correcly, although lacking some inspiration at this price point.Likely to return and try more of the menu
Marlowe Washington: The experience at Tony's was marvelous! I especially enjoyed our server Alexander Williams who was a class act by himself, and he was great! Please promote him, ok!!!
L Buddy: Excellent Service !
Rob G: VERY rarely do I give a 10/10 restaurant experience, but it's well deserved. I was recommended Tony's because it is very hard to find a "Pittsburgh style" black and blue rare steak. For me, any experience starts as soon as you walk through the door. I was greeted promptly and professionally as soon as I came up the stairs. I sat at the far end of the bar on a quiet night and was again greeted promptly by the outstanding bartender Payton (apologies if I spelled it wrong). She was incredibly charming and delightful to talk to, but also knowledgeable with steak. I ordered the strip in Pittsburgh style black and blue fashion. It quickly arrived and was absolutely perfect. I have been to many big name steakhouses across the country, and this was a top tier experience. Good restaurants need to deliver a quality product with quality staff. This has both. 10/10
Karl Clermont: This restaurantFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Carlos Colón: The filets are delicious!
Joe Poindexter: Best mac and cheese and creme brulee I've had.
Chunjiao Xiao: I’m not sure about the steak, but the pasta is really plain, definitely not worth the money.
Hannah Nichols: The food here is out of this world. Steak is best in Indy and ahi tuna sashimi was perfect. A great atmosphere and just impeccable food. Service was phenomenal as well.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Seared Ahi Tuna Tartare …More
c b: We came here right after getting married and Tony's did not dissapoint. My husband and I even received complimentary champagne from the manager, who came over to congratulate us. The food was amazing (highly recommend the crab cakes) and the service was even better. Our waiter, Zay, was fantastic as was every single employee we had the pleasure of speaking with. This dinner was the cherry on top of a perfect day and we will definitely return.

Terry Bradner: I have eaten here a number of times and always had a great experience. But on April 2 my experience wasn't very good, even though it wasn't busy the service was slow at best, and the my meal was so salty and over seasoned it wasn't enjoyable. For a restaurant of this caliber and price it was very disappointing

Matt Black: For as expensive a restaurant as it was I was expecting better food. My best bite all night was the seafood chopped salad, which was made incorrectly the wrong cheese was put in the Greek salad parmesan instead of feta, but came out later than everyone else in my parties salad so didn’t feel like I should send it back and delay the meal. My lobster tail was tough the stone crab claws weren’t impressive. Oysters Rockefeller was good along with the calamari but the shrimp tempura disappointed. My steak was cooked correctly and my cocktails were good. Dessert took what felt like 30 minutes plus from when we ordered them which didn’t make sense with how empty the restaurant was. When everyone at the table starts cracking jokes about how long it is taking and is 80% through their dessert cocktails or coffee you know something went wrong. Desserts were massive which isn’t bad as long as there is some warning, which we weren’t given, that you should share them. Overall for spending that much money at a restaurant you would expect it to be more impressive with the food. Service was good and the waiter was attentive.also like several other people have said the place is so dark that we had flashlights out to read the menu. And we didn’t feel like there was anywhere to take a picture because of bad lighting.
Rhonda Reuther: Beautiful menu. The halibut was fantastic. Hash brown unexpected wonderful. Shrimp fried rice so tender! Ask for the relish tray- best $4 you will spend. Service was top notch.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Pushkar Ghanekar: Visited this place for team dinner and my god it had the best fish I’ve ever had in midwest. It’s definitely pricier than other options around but the food quality, ambience, and staff justify it well. The Seabass was fabulous and so was the baked alaskan and crème brûlée. They have banging Daiquiris.Recommended dishes Grilled Filet Mignon and Shrimp, Baked Alaska, Creme Brulee …More
Shake: The food was fantastic but I needed my flashlight to see it.If they turned the lights up just a touch, that'd be great!
Ray Vanlanot: They have what appears to be a biased dress code. Their Sunday 1/2 priced oysters is contained only to one type of freshwater oysters, The place is dark even during the day, and the elevator is so dark, YOU MUST HOLD ONTO THE GUARDRAIL or simply crawl so you don't fall. Thank heaven the have an elevator. Service was minimal at best. I think that they are so exclusive that the will feel it soon if not already.
Cathy Murphy: My sister and I came to Indianapolis for a concert and decided on Oceanaire for dinner.Wow everything was fantastic. We had such great service starting with the hostess our waiter Jake and his helper, Fill. Jake was very helpful in guiding us through the menu and suggesting both entrees and complimentary wine.We had the crab cakes and the sea scallops. Best seafood we have had in ages!!And we travel to many places. They even celebrated my birthday with a baked Alaska, flaming at the table - yummy. The prices are higher, but worth every penny!!!!We will be finding the Oceanaire in other places we travelThank you so much
Cory Zimmerman: The food was excellent. But the tables are close, and it is loud, hard to talk to anyone that wasn't sitting right next to youFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes New England Clam Chowder, Key Lime Pie, Dynamite, Crab Cakes, Chowder …More
Justin Severa: The food was amazing and the service was good even for our party of 10 on a pretty busy evening.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Anthony Engle: Best service in IndianapolisFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Cold Water Lobster Tail …More
Tim Frasier: Recommended dishes Crab CakesMore
Scott Austin: Ruby, and the manager (I don’t remember her name) were both very accommodating on the phone as we spoke in preparation for our group. Waiter Jake was excellent, very professional, yet fun and knowledgeable. Food was excellent as always, we visit once year, every year for the past 12 years. We love Oceanaire Indianapolis.
Brent Hendricks: This is one of our favorite celebration spots. The menu is refreshed periodically, so there's always new things to try. A bit pricey but the atmosphere is great! Go with the valet parking for a smooth experience 👍👍👍👍Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menuParking: I recommend the valet parking for a hassle free experience.
Keaton Wright: Wonderful Experience Per Usual
William Whitton: Terribly overpriced for the small portions. Asparagus was inedible. We have always wanted to try this restaurant, but we would never go back. The candlelight was nice, but overall way too dark in there.Quite a disappointment all around. This place is even more expensive than Saint Elmo’s!Once we realized how insanely overpriced this is, we could have saved ourselves the frustration and $230.00!!Caveat Emptor!
