My best bite all night was the seafood chopped salad,which was made incorrectly the wrong cheese was put in the Greek salad parmesan instead of feta, but came out later than everyone else in my parties salad so didn’t feel like I should send it back and delay the meal. My lobster tail was tough the stone crab claws weren’t impressive. Oysters Rockefeller was good along with the calamari but the shrimp tempura disappointed. My steak was cooked correctly and my cocktails were good. Dessert took what felt like 30 minutes plus from when we ordered them which didn’t make sense with how empty the restaurant was. When everyone at the table starts cracking jokes about how long it is taking and is 80% through their dessert cocktails or coffee you know something went wrong. Desserts were massive which isn’t bad as long as there is some warning,which we weren’t given, that you should share them. Overall for spending that much money at a restaurant you would expect it to be more impressive with the food. Service was good and the waiter was attentive.also like several other people have said the place is so dark that we had flashlights out to read the menu. And we didn’t feel like there was anywhere to take a picture because of bad lighting.

Their Sunday 1/2 priced oysters is contained only to one type of freshwater oysters, The place is dark even during the day, and the elevator is so dark, YOU MUST HOLD ONTO THE GUARDRAIL or simply crawl so you don't fall. Thank heaven the have an elevator. Service was minimal at best. I think that they are so exclusive that the will feel it soon if not already.

We had such great service starting with the hostess our waiter Jake and his helper, Fill. Scott Austin: Ruby, and the manager (I don’t remember her name) were both very accommodating on the phone as we spoke in preparation for our group. Waiter Jake was excellent, very professional, yet fun and knowledgeable. Food was excellent as always, we visit once year, every year for the past 12 years. We love Oceanaire Indianapolis.

Mariah Martin: The food is absolutely amazing and our waitress was fantastic and so nice. The reason for 3 stars is due to the hostess situation. This was my first visit and they were not very friendly and immediately had me hesitant on my decision to dine there.On another occasion, I had called to make reservations and the customer service was horrible. So rude and not welcoming at all.The establishment is always busy so I'm sure one could care less if I chose to take my business here or elsewhere.

April Casiano-Lee: We decided to drive almost 2 hours for a special birthday dinner. We didn’t wait long for our table with having a reservation. We were promptly introduced by our server who took our drink order immediately. Our server was friendly but seemed a bit scattered. We did order a few appetizers. 2 came out but the last one came after our salads. 1 salad never came. Another server tried to bring the save appetizer that we were enjoying out again but we explained we had that one, she rolled her eyes and said ok. As we were enjoying our salads, our food came out as the last appetizer came out. A dirty martini was ordered but took at least 20-30 mins to get. The risotto dish was not delicious but the salmon and filet medallions were amazing. We did express the distaste of the one dish. Our server took care of it immediately and explained a manager would be by. Once she stopped by, she apologized about the dish and said she wild take care of it. We did express our concerns about the rest of meal but she didn’t seem interested. We did receive a complimentary entree to take with us. It was 2 of our first times entering the establishment. We will come back to try again. Again, our server and another server that stopped just to help take our pictures were were great.

Very attentive and was able to manage the large group. We were greeted at the front door and our reservation was on time. Dallas Collins: The food and service was poor, especially for the price. I would rather have had a Texas Roadhouse filet mignon any day. The asparagus was wrinkled and must have been sitting on the plate for a while before being brought to our table. The small potatoes were the same, and had little to no taste. The lobster was turned upside down when it reached our table and almost fell off the plate. All three entrees and salads we ordered were not tasty and then considering the high prices, very disappointing!! The service was equally poor, all of our beverages were empty multiple times and we had to ask for refills, I would expect that to happen at Chili’s but not at a restaurant where the average price per per is $50. I would recommend Ruth Chris, Ocean Prime, or even Texas Roadhouse over this restaurant.

Today 04/05 is my wife's Birthday and we celebrated at Season 52. Wow they have never disappointed us. Our server Tarek H was very outstanding and helpful. We started off with the Philly Cheesesteak Flatbread that was very good. With it being a Birthday celebration they gave us complimentary Sparkling Champagne. We both had the awesome shrimp and grits. To top it all off we had the awesome mini deserts. We enjoyed the Birthday celebration and Tarek our server, helped to make the dinner relaxing and fun. 😊We have enjoyed having dinner at Season 52, and this time they out did themselves. The steaks and lobster was outstanding and my wife had the shrimp on grits and sauce. She had an extra skewer of shrimp she added to it and it was outstanding. We have never been disappointed here and today they even out did themselves thank you 😊

C Deo: Always our go to restaurant while in Indy. Great steaks and good drinks. Can’t go wrong with any of the the steaks, they’re all excellent. Make sure to ask for Tony for your server. He knows his stuff. One of those rare servers who intuitively knows what you want before you ask for it. He’ll steer you in the right direction and wants to make sure you enjoy your meal. If you’re a bourbon drinker try the vintage old fashion. They infuse the bourbon with a smoke flavor. Excellent drink!

Crab cake was excellent. The pretzels were good a little leathery on the outside but warm and tender on the inside, cheese dip was really good. My wife had the shrimp and subbed the mac n cheese for her side. She said the shrimp were very good but slightly overcooked. She said the mac n cheese was excellent. I had the BBQ meatloaf. Excellent flavor but on the dry side. I had the standard sides and they were very good. What the standout of the meal was our service which was outstanding. Friendly and prompt, attentive without being pesty. Kudos to the staff at Weber Grill.

Princess Angel: This is the first restaurant I’ve been to in Indy that’s really bad, like our waitress had the nastiest attitude. She wasn’t a nice host, we had complaints about the food and she basically just told us to eat it like that. It also didn’t help that we were the only black people in here and she attended to the white man who came in an hour after us. They served him before us and took almost an hour to get us just fries. She was just mean to us and we tried to understand that it could be because she was tired but later on realized she just didn’t like us and was just being so rude to us.

Carrie Syczylo: I believe this to be my first time making a review that will be very negative and for that I apologize. This is a very honest review and my experience during my first and last visit. We went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Our waiter was fine. The food was the worst food I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant. We eat out an average amount and the food we received reminded me of hospital food. Everything from the soup to the main course was as bland as bland can be. I ordered the prime rib and it was by far the worst cut of prime rib. It was tough and nearly impossible to cut with a steak knife. I asked for medium rare and it was medium well, it had absolutely zero seasoning and tasted very gamey. It kind of tasted as if it was prepared a couple of days ago and re heated. The veggie medley was ok and did have some salt and pepper on it. The potatoes were at the same satisfaction level as the prime rib, old, dry and flavorless. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. We did not complain, the waiter tried. We paid our bill, tipped our waiter 25 percent and headed home. I contemplated making a review because I just rarely do. However I would hate for people to spend their money on food of this quality.

Jordyn Nelson: Where to begin. This was truly the worst dining experience I've ever had in Indianapolis. The service was fine, which is the only reason I'm giving 1 star. I won't say it was outstanding, but she did make sure we had drinks, ordered within a timely manner, etc. however, she wasn't concerned at any point with how we were actually enjoying anything, specifically the food. My husband ordered an old fashioned, and I ordered wine, and we felt that our drinks and the appetizer (truffle fries) were the best part of our experience. For our entrees, I ordered the lamb chops and my husband ordered the prime rib (both med rare). Lamb chops were the smallest I've ever seen, cooked medium-well, and had more of a "mint cilantro smear", if you will, instead of the mint pesto. My husband's prime rib was truly the worst part. Cooked extremely well, dry/grisly texture, not served with the horseradish sauce (which is always served with prime rib). I really wanted to send our food back, especially considering our server never checked back during the meal. Oh, we were also only 1 of 3 tables there the entire night. Yikes, please just don't go. Save your money. Go literally anywhere else.

They decided to tell us at this time that they had a special Easter only menu. This is a three course meal and is $41.95 per person. #1 this was never told to us at the time we made the reservation #2 last year we had our Easter dinner reservation at Maggiano's for the same amount of people and ordered off the menu. Thank you Maggiano's for the poor communication in changes and blowing our budget out of the water. G Fatima: Maggiano’s is our go to Italian spot. Granted there’s different versions of Italian and what is actually Italian but considering the ambience, portions and taste we love our visit anytime we go there. The food is always delicious and service quick and efficient. There’s a variety of options on the menu catering to different needs of the audience but our ever favorite is zucchini fries which is deliciously crusted with bread crumbs and definitely drool worthy. Bread with olive oil is on the house and definitely makes up for any wait time.

S. Warren: Best food on Mass Ave bar none. The service is VERY hit or miss though. If you sit on the 3rd floor, there is a chance you wont get your food very quickly as instead of making it easy on their servers, they make them walk from the basement up 2-3 flights of stairs to deliver food. Its ridiculous. And in the bar, you will typically get the worst servers for some reason even though they aren't busy they're impossible to find. Again, best food on Mass Ave and highly recommend it!
Hutch: Our poor experience started off by being seated in the dining room when I had reserved an upstairs table. The dining room was so loud I could barely hear my friends who were with me and so hot that people were taking their sweaters off. I ordered the filet, medium, and when it arrived, it looked great. However; when I was a third of the way through it; it was obviously rare! Not medium rare, rare! I sent the steak back thinking a new one would be prepared properly. I was wrong. My old steak was recooked along with a small piece I had cut off earlier. This may be acceptable for a $20 steak, but not when I’m paying $50 for a small filet. I politely declined the recooked piece of meat and just ate some of my wife’s chicken so we could leave. It’s also important to note, little effort was made to correct the poor experience we were having.

Rib-eye was smothered in some kind of pineapple glaze that made the steak almost like rubber when cutting it. Other dishes may be better, but overall we walked away unimpressed.

Mass Ave is great as it has lots of boutique shops and restaurants on the strip. Parking meters line the street and it's a bit difficult to pull in and out of a space due to the narrowness of the strip.
