Matt Black: For as expensive a restaurant as it was I was expecting better food. My best bite all night was the seafood chopped salad,which was made incorrectly the wrong cheese was put in the Greek salad parmesan instead of feta, but came out later than everyone else in my parties salad so didn’t feel like I should send it back and delay the meal. My lobster tail was tough the stone crab claws weren’t impressive. Oysters Rockefeller was good along with the calamari but the shrimp tempura disappointed. My steak was cooked correctly and my cocktails were good. Dessert took what felt like 30 minutes plus from when we ordered them which didn’t make sense with how empty the restaurant was. When everyone at the table starts cracking jokes about how long it is taking and is 80% through their dessert cocktails or coffee you know something went wrong. Desserts were massive which isn’t bad as long as there is some warning,which we weren’t given, that you should share them. Overall for spending that much money at a restaurant you would expect it to be more impressive with the food. Service was good and the waiter was attentive.also like several other people have said the place is so dark that we had flashlights out to read the menu. And we didn’t feel like there was anywhere to take a picture because of bad lighting.

Their Sunday 1/2 priced oysters is contained only to one type of freshwater oysters, The place is dark even during the day, and the elevator is so dark, YOU MUST HOLD ONTO THE GUARDRAIL or simply crawl so you don't fall. Thank heaven the have an elevator. Service was minimal at best. I think that they are so exclusive that the will feel it soon if not already.

We had such great service starting with the hostess our waiter Jake and his helper, Fill. Jake was very helpful in guiding us through the menu and suggesting both entrees and complimentary wine.We had the crab cakes and the sea scallops. Scott Austin: Ruby, and the manager (I don’t remember her name) were both very accommodating on the phone as we spoke in preparation for our group. Waiter Jake was excellent, very professional, yet fun and knowledgeable. Food was excellent as always, we visit once year, every year for the past 12 years. We love Oceanaire Indianapolis.
Brent Hendricks: This is one of our favorite celebration spots. The menu is refreshed periodically, so there's always new things to try. A bit pricey but the atmosphere is great! Larry Jasan: After making reservations at a restaurant with a similar name, I went to a different restaurant with a similar. As a result I lost the reservation. Management at Kona Jack’s overheard my dilemma and offered me a table during a very New Year’s Eve time. The result turned into a blessing as the food ordered had to be the best in the Indianapolis area. Had a feli that was out of this world and my wife ordered a 12 oz steak that we will be sharing for the next two days. However, that was not the best part of our experience. We were given a server who was an angel from heaven. This man, whose name is Darrell M treated us as if we were the greatest celebrities in the world. He was not overbearing or peaty, but he was spot on when it was necessary in spite of it being a very busy New Years Eve. Kudos to Darrell and management. Pat O: This is such an amazing place. We went here after watching Pacers vs. Warriors and also to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Their staff is really nice and very friendly. I asked if they could bring out a dessert to surprise my friend and they did with the same excitement as us!Their food is amazing and the prices are reasonable. I love their GARLIC BUTTER! This place is definitely a must try. We will be back for my birthday!The facility is clean. Downside is that the bathroom is downstairs so it’s not really handicap friendly. OVERALL AMAZING!

Just an FYI the seafood boil is garlicy but my BFF is not a Garlic fan so Craig recommended next time order Cajun and Lemon Pepper and it's light on garlic. Paul Brown: Last night we went to Crab 99 Bar for a birthday dinner. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever encountered. We arrived for our reservation at 6:45PM and immediately was on guard with the lack of patrons in the restaurant.Our waitress was very friendly but must of had an off night because her service was terrible. Any request we had took a very long time, which wouldn't have been an issue if the restaurant was very busy but there were less than ten people in the restaurant eating. She let us know there was an issue with the POS system which caused the delay, which I completely understand trying to learn new systems. What I do not understand is why we were avoided like the plague, not even checking on us for drink refills or if there was anything else we needed.We finally got our food at 8:00PM and it was the worst seafood I've ever had. The entire order of crawfish and crab was submerged in a sauce that tasted horrible, unlike any other seafood restaurant I have been to that serves this dish. The outside of the crawfish and crab had all the cajun seasoning in the world, but on the inside where flavor matters, it was unseasoned. The dipping butter had cajun mixed in (just be prepared, everything comes with cajun sauce) which doesn't go well with the savory characteristic of butter.Again, the waitress was very friendly and apologized for the delay. The manager even came to the table to apologize for the delay and gave us a 10% discount. However, this did not make up for the time difference with our cars in the parking garage going over the two hour time limit before the next tier of payment kicked in.Overall, the staff was very friendly but the food was horrible and the service was absolutely terrible. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone in the future.

There were a few tables inside and guests at the bar but the front door was locked and the host motioned to me that they were closed. You’re not actually allowed to lock the doors while people are still inside and I feel like if you’re going to decide to close early it should be because you have no business. I get the feeling this wasn’t management’s decision.

Megan Thomas: I stopped through 4 spots trying to find what I wanted for dinner. Happened on this spot and the vibe was perfect from the jump. A little Notorious followed by Otis, then Whitney. I N: Krab Kingz is and can be a really good place to eat. However this time around I was a little bit disappointed in how my food tasted this time around. I notice that the Snow Crab Platter that I ordered was not up to satisfactory level this time around. My corn on the Cobb had seemed like it had sat out all night and it wasn't fresh or hot. I also noticed that the 2 cluster crab legs I had was cold inside when I cracked them open to eat. And the potatoes just didn't seem like they were real potatoes. I'm a little disappointed because in the past. I have been very happy with KRAB KINGZ service. I really do believe getting bad service depends on who's working and if they are tired and ready to go home. Thanks and don't let my opinion deter anyone from enjoying a good meal. This is just my experience. It concerns me that the owner hasn't offered refunds or better cooked food to anyone. CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS FIRST.

Every1 works 2gether as a team and even when they r noticeably tired they are always very friendly and pleasant. I am a pescatarian so I eat a lot of seafood so believe me when I say that no one else’s sauce can hold a candle to this place. The competition is over as there is no other place that even comes close. I did have some ok sauce with yummy crab but it is not thick enough. The portion u get 4ur money is also on point at krab kingz. I absolutely love Krab kingz highly recommended they have come In and taken over!!!

The only thing good about my food was the sausage and egg. There was no flavor everything was bland. Most of my potatoes were under cooked and had black marks on them as if they were rotten. Definitely not worth my $25.71. I normally get crab legs but the last time I had those they were over cooked and not meaty. Tried giving you guys another chance but I was more disappointed then the last time. Not even interested in eating my leftovers. And what kind of response was that???? Really want my money back
Angel Kin: Very clean and very fresh. If you are in a semi like me Walmart is in the same shopping center and you can park there. The staff was friendly. The portion size is great. We ordered the seafood boil for one and we both ended up being able to get full. We also tried the fried Catfish and shrimp and was seasoned just right. Yes you must have a mask to enter bit 9nce seated you can remove it. They do carry out as well but if you are in a 18 wheeler like me take the time to dine in. You won't regret it.

Marcus Banks: I bought a seafood boil with the honey garlic flavor and a catfish dinner from Krab Kingz. Both did not disappoint. The catfish was meaty yet still flaky and the breading was seasoned well enough it didn't need anything added to it. There were plenty of fries and potatoes in both entrees so no complaints on portions. The crab and shrimp were also delicious with plenty of flavor packed in. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes crab, shrimp or a good tasting catfish. I did not dine in so won't comment on the dine in experience.

TheyCallMePage: Unseasoned and overpriced! I tried to give this place another chance but I was very disappointed again. The only reason I decided to try them again is because they have good quality shrimp but the sauce was disgusting so I decided I would try another sauce next I went. I chose a different sauce than the one I had before but it still was just a flavorless butter garlic sauce. The lady who took my order also had an attitude and seemed like she didn’t know much. I usually go to the castleton area to get seafood (there’s 3 different seafood boil places off 82nd) so I was asking the lady question about the sausage. I didn’t know they gave you a sausage link instead and cutting up a lbs or 1/2 lbs. The potatoes are also sliced instead of the entire red potatoes.I was asking about the side items and the lady just seemed irritated because I had questions about the quantity of the item for the price. The food was over cooked and watery. I feel like they cook the food and let it set in the water and just put it in different sauces when you order. You can tell the food is not cooked in the sauce because it has no flavor. If you want seafood, drive to castleton because you will get better food, quality, and customer service and it’s CHEAPER! Don’t waste your money here

The celery root puree was the perfect pairing with the fish. Dessert was the warm butter cake, it was warm and gooey deliciousness!The staff was fabulous! Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the evening fun. ( I feel terrible that I don't recall her name, but she has beautiful curly hair! two dogs, one named Gravy;) Fun night! Decent parking, they do have valet parking. We went to M&S because I remember my grandpa taking me for my birthday 15+ years ago and how incredible the food/atmosphere/ service was.We were disappointed from the first interaction we had with our waiter when we had to ask for the complimentary bread and it was ignored and never brought to us.We both ordered drinks. I used the name that was given on the menu and our waiter told me I was wrong and it was called something else. He asked for our I.D.s which we gave him and then made us repeat our D.O.B. And tell him our age. It felt insulting I’ve never been questioned like that before especially when the person had my ID in their hand. When stating our age I told him my wife’s age and that we were here for her 30th birthday dinner he simply looked at her, handed her I.D. Back and walked away. Not that a “happy birthday” is required but I would say it was expected.We ordered appetizers of oysters and calamari. The oysters were delicious but the calamari was rubber. On several bites we had to spit it out onto our plate because we physically could not chew it. My wife’s meal (crab& shrimp stuffed salmon was bland with no flavor and my steak was so tough it was hard to cut with a knife. I had to spit it out several times because of the amount of grizzle. I forced myself to eat half and left it on the plate. Both of us agreed the mashed potatoes surely came out of a bag. We also ordered a lobster tail that we had to cut with a knife and did not finish because it was like chewing on a car tire.Our waiter never once asked us how our meal was and was standoffish. We both felt he was avoiding our table. I honestly wish I would have talked to a manager instead of paying our $183.00 when we know we would have had a better experience at cheddars scratch kitchen for the cost of the expected gratuity.Shame on me for allowing this highly touted establishment to ruin my wife’s birthday celebration

He ended up eating it because he was so hungry. The manager did compensate for his food, but I think the price you pay for your food should've been cooked better. Gail Smith: This is the first time I have ever given a restaurant a bad review. Rarely have I ever talked to a manager. However, I just spoke with a manager and was told the manager wasn't interested in our concerns. The food WAS good but we will never go again for the following reasons.1) the service was extremely slow. multiple people came to our table and apologized for the wait. Everyone was nice so we waited patiently. Two different people took our drink orders. Not a big deal. When our order was taken we were told they were out of an item and we would need to substitute. No big deal. 2) When our appetizer finally came it was good but there wasn't any sauce for our calamari because the truck didn't come in. Again, no big deal but could we have some other kind of dipping sauce? We finally got something and it was ok. We got our food and we were excited to experience it and we took pictures. 3) When the bill came it was much higher than expected. There was an error and the bill was reduced and we were given a gift card for our experience. Great! We got a few dollars off but we were never given a copy of the adjusted bill. We were given a $10 gift card to come back. That was very nice but we still were made to feel like we were in the wrong for asking about our bill. 4) When we got home and looked at the pictures we realized we never got our snow crab legs that were part of the order!!!!! 5) Called to talk to management before I placed an online review and was told that the owner said the manager shouldn't have even called me back but the manager did anyway.In summary great food but terrible experience.

L Silver: I’m not sure why this one isn’t as popular as the other places. When I went to pick up my food it was empty. It could have been a bit more professional inside with employees but that’s all I have “bad” to say.The food was fresh and good. I didn’t get heart burn , and it’s not salty at all like some other seafood boil places. I could actually eat the whole thing for the first time without getting sick. 9/10 recommend. It has been my go to for 3 years now.

Dylan Lanzante: I'm really disappointed, my partner and I have been meaning to try eating here so we placed an Uber Eats pick-up. Unfortunately the shrimp we swapped wasn't swapped out and we didn't find out until we got home so I didn't have much of a chance to try it as I'm allergic. What I was able to try (some rice and sides before I starting having a mild reaction) was good but just incredibly disappointed with the service and a bit upset I didn't even get to try their food because of this mixup.Update: I was instructed to contact the owner as seen below by their social media management? However the number went straight to voicemail which I left with my contact information and days later I have yet to receive a return call. Worth noting my partner also has a gluten allergy and had a mild reaction the night and following morning of said meal (they claim to have gluten free options but clearly ignore cross contamination). Between the poor customer service and ignoring a huge allergy mix up with this order I really would never consider eating here again. I definitely can't recommend it and would advise against giving them a try if this is seriously how they conduct business because it's clear they don't care about their customers.

Cody Breault: Decided to try this place for the first time for our anniversary before heading over to a show at the Old National Center.We had made reservations and when we arrived accidentally walked into the wrong side- it was quite confusing but we found our way to the dine-in section… turns out we put in a reservation for the carry-out side?Fortunately we had arrived early enough in the night that it wasn’t too busy and we snagged one of the last 3 tables.The ambience was okay with the only reason for my review was because there was only one waitress and the general manager working the entire floor of ~15 tables.We ordered drinks and apps- the food was incredibly fast to arrive while our drinks were severely delayed- to which our waitress said that the bar was backed up.At one point after we were done with our apps we were left at a completely empty table with no drinks (including water) and no meal- it gave me time to look around and people watch I guess?We both ordered the Clobster Grilled cheese which was by far SO incredibly good. I was VERY impressed.Although we have ourselves 2 hours for dinner, we had to rush out to catch our show — and had to flag down our waitress as she was hustling around trying to keep up. Adam Thomas: First all I have to tell you the day after Valentine’s was just as special and great!! We had a new guy last night who was in training (I forgot his name) but he did very very well so great job. This was my second time going to this location. My first was the location in greenwood which was amazing but last night had the same type of experience and energy I wanted for myself and my girlfriend as we’re rekindling our relationship. From the check in with the guy with blue shirt, to the host being polite, and to our two servers it was definitely 10/10.I literally got the same food as I did last summer which was the two appetizers (the Bang Bang Shrimp, MUSSELS JOSEPHINE, and two orders of their bread). As our entrée my love got the 7 ounce fillet-mignon, whipped potatoes, and asparagus. I had the 7 ounce sirloin and shrimp with whipped potatoes, and bacon mac & cheese..The only two cons I would say is that the Bacon Mac & Cheese definitely needs more flavor (seasoning), actually baked in the oven and more bacon pieces throughout each bites. Make it like how a southern grandmother would do it 6/10 to be fair. (The the pesto in the oil for the bread looks phenomenal, but I am allergic to pesto thank God that I asked to serve or is that was pesto because I would’ve had an allergic reaction). Lastly the mango salsa was (MID) should definitely 100% be blended up instead of having chunks in a metal cup. How you should make it: Fresh mangos, cilantro, Creole seasoning, red hot chili flakes, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, lime, juice, lemon juice, basil, oregano, tomatoes, green onions, white onions, some pepper, and adobo That’s how you should make that mango sauce. THANK ME LATER….Overall, the experience was still great but I hope y’all take what I said into consideration but we will definitely be back for sure.Very respectfully,
