Jenny Smalling: I stopped in today for the first time (expecting to not find anything I could smile in, as I am larger chested & skinny legged), much to my surprise the lady working there started bringing me suits that I might like including from the sales rack! :-). I quickly found the one that was perfect from what she brought me! I didn’t even try on the other 20 suits I had in the dressing room with me. I greatly appreciated the attention (even though I thought I didn’t want any lol) Thank you!

Sue Ferrell: Not a lot of choice for our aerobic swim classes. They had one suit in my size. I went online to swim and sweat and bought the same suit in a color I liked and it was $25.00 less.

I am a curvy girl who embraces what I was given. I looked at a few suits, found a pair of bottoms I liked and asked if they had anything else like it in my size. Got told no, with no offer for additional help. I found a few to try on, and when I found one I liked I opened the fitting room door to show my husband. The sales lady popped over and said “oh good, you found one that fits” - thanks for the confidence boost lady. Super helpful. I bought the suit but only because I’m pressed for time, but until they learn a little grace and sensitivity I don’t plan to be back.
Cate Alexis: Went here today at 10 am three of us were waiting in parking lot for it to open, the lady Teresa walked into the store at 9:59 to open it up. We walk in the first thing she says is “ please use some hand sanitizer “ okay I thought “ sure “ I said . The store is pitch black right now. I said “ hey do you mind turning the lights on?” She gives me a look and says “ yeah I will I just got here “ horrible personality and not welcoming she made us all feel uncomfortable that we the customers had to ask for lights on.... never asked any of us if we needed help or anything . Will never be back here .
Missy Cox: True customer service. They take the time to make sure you get exactly the right suit and fit for YOUR body type. More pricey than Target but the suits I have from there have lasted years with lots of use. Worth every penny and only place I'll shop for a suit.

Dee Dee: Employees didn’t greet us coming in or leaving. Not sure when Children’s place clothes got so expensive but the service definitely didn’t make we want to spend my money.

Tessa Russell: Giving 3 stars because I do LOVE these clothes, and I can typically get a pretty good deal. However, the website always gives me trouble! Half the time, my saved password won't work, and I'll have to go through a lengthy process of creating a new one, because it locks the account after 3 tries. When looking at items, they'll say "Only a few remaining" but 9/10 times the item is unavailable. I've even ordered clothing, gotten my confirmation email, and then a few days later received another email stating "X" amount of items I purchased were not available and so they would not be included in my order. The Coupons sometimes won't apply, and I feel like every other order I'm having to contact customer service over an error that happens after I made a purchase. The website could definitely use some tweaking.

Elsmore sends a ton of marketing spam emails, but zero updates to my order.While ordering online, there is not a single indication that there might be a delay, or an extended wait period to receive the product that is being purchased. It is not until after a customer has paid, that an email will be sent stating that there is some sort of indefinite delay.I strongly discourage anyone from purchasing from Elsmore Swim Shop. A company that lacks, honesty, transparency, and integrity should not be honored with your business.

Barbara Johnston: Recently we were in Indy (3hours from home) for my daughter’s annual cancer check up. We stopped by the swim store to check on our order which had been delayed and whatnot. They figured out what happened and also fitted my daughter with the correct swimsuit size AND flipper sizes. Because of the effects of cancer to my daughters leg, she has different size feet. She needed two completely different pairs of flippers for them to fit. (We are new to competitive swimming so all of the gear is new to us). Because of all the ordering issues we had, the store kindly gave us the 2nd set of flippers for free. We were very happy with our service and will be back when we make our trips to Indy in the future. We also purchased this cute sparkly swim hat!

Heather: Never had an issue here! Most of the staff is wonderful! The clothing quality usually hits as well. Their spring and summer clothes are typically the best. The winter clothes typically aren’t thick enough to handle Indiana winters IMO.
Scott Ice: I drove all the way to this location from far away to return a shirt that was the wrong size. I had no idea I was outside their return window. They refused to take it, and now I'm stuck with something we can't use. They weren't very friendly or helpful, and I will never shop there again. I lost time, gas, and the money I spent. Seriously No: Incredibly rude and mean employees. The interactive kiosk by Van Maur said they had a restroom, which was great because I had intended to buy my niece and nephew some nice clothes. Well when I went towards the back looking for it I got berated and harassed by an employee. I explained the situation and why I was confused and was treated like garbage. And the kicker was that when I said I didn't understand why she was being so mean to me she doubled down and was even meaner! I can't believe they allow someone like that to work in a children's store.
Xmommy_of_oneX: I’ve only went here to buy my son some jeans , nobody really asked if I needed any help in finding anything. I was just stared at through out the entire time. Felt pretty uncomfortable once I was ready to pay, the employees weren’t even doing anything but standing all in one place talking to each other by the mean time I was waiting by the cashier register just waiting and waiting until one of them rudely came with an attitude and asked if I was going to pay already.
Jessica Fleming: Well, I was double charged for a item, i.e. the cashier rang the one item I purchased, twice. I called customer service when I got home and saw the charge. The did have record of the purchase because it was too new and said to call back on Monday. Well I call back the Monday after that because we are a very busy family and I ve been on the phone for almost an hour. I contacted the store and they said they couldnt help me when it happened.Additionally when I was there the cashier had several problems ringing up my order and even had to restart the POS machine because she didnt know how to use it. The manger had to come over to process my order. I was at the check out counter longer than 1/2 hour just trying to check out. It was terrible. I would suggest going to a different children's place and skip this one.Update: the amount I was over charged has now been escalated and I will get an email and on the phone for a hour. Yay :/Please do something about this location childrens place. Come on!
Tyler: This store is the size of a shoe closet, or studio apartment in New York, whichever is smaller. The amount of limbless and headless mannequins makes you feel like you are walking through season 3 of American horror story, and they would make money if they sold cigarettes because of the stress feeling so crammed makes you feel...imagine being a little kid in this store....

Natalie Hoover: Would give zero stars if possible. Return policy with no receipt is same item/color in different size. My daughter got an outfit for Christmas so no receipt. They didn't have the outfit she got, so I'm just stuck with this clothes that don't fit her. They clearly have theft issues but I'm not a thief and I felt like I was being treated like one with this horrible return policy. Will NEVER shop there again.
Dominique Thomas: Don’t Go Here!!! Shopping at Children’s Place Castleton Square mall was an huge mistake and I want make it again. Mary the manager, along with her staff are rude and need major customer service training. I went into this store to return 5 items from my daughter’s birthday. The items were neatly folded in a box with tags on and gift receipt at the bottom of box. The associate asked me where did I get the clothes...like I had stolen them. She failed to look under the clothes to find the receipt. She couldn’t give me a store credit even with a receipt, this is insane. So I’m trying to shop with 2 little girls and a meeting in an hour. The associate also couldn’t give me a dollar amount for my return. So I shopped and paid $30 over my returned value which I was mad about b/c I was treated trouble the entire time.The store alarm went off and the manager Mary stormed over to me and asked for my bag, which I didn’t have one. In fact no one ever offered me a shopping bag. I also witnessed the manager Mary asking the gentleman who’s bag did sound the alarm, why he was near the door. I was in shock that she would question a customer like that.The store was disorganized and boxes all over the floor. My 5 year old picked up some pants and Mary had the nerve to tell her she had just folded that table.It took 3 associates to exchange merchandise with a gift receipt, that’s ridiculous! This group of women were judgemental, incompetent and rude.
Lisa Harber: Horrible customer service. I went to exchange a skirt that I bought online that didn’t match the shirt I bought to match it. They didn’t have the matching skirt. I did not have the credit card I used for the purchase with me. They refused to put the credit on another card or give me cash. The online receipt was in my name, so obviously not fraudulent. It was all of $9. I will go Hamilton town center next time.

ashley goodwin: Recently went to purchase clothing for my son at the location in Indianapolis Indiana that is located right across the street from the greenwood Park Mall there was two employees at the desk they asked me how I was and I said good. Then they responded to one another oh we're doing great thanks for asking very sarcastically. I let them know that is very rude for them to say that in front of customers to be sarcastic. I left and did not purchase a damn thing from that place never been treated that way in a store but really come on really. This occurred on October 14th at around 5:00 p.m.

ZFlow Show: Frist off I wish I could award this store with zero stars. Sadly the system is rigged to where they get at least 1 star. Yesterday my wife took our daughter to get shoes. she forgot socks so she matched the shoes up to the bottom of her feet to try to find the right size. taking precautions and not letting her wear the shoes without socks so they didn't get dirty. once she got home she tried them on her and they didn't fit. the shoes were then put back in the bag. once we went to return them the next day they told us we had let our daughter wear the shoes and they could not refund us the money nor exchange the shoes. So here we are with shoes that don't fit our daughter and yet we let her ''wear'' them. something doesn't add up there. I warn you guys from shopping at THIS store. Not all Carters have shady people working for them but this one definitely does. If you buy something from there LOOK over every inch of that product. I know its hard to do when you have a 1 year old in your arms. my wife made the mistake of not looking over the product and now we are out 40$ for a pair of shoes we cant use. I am very disappointed with this store and i hope this helps the next family that might not have a lot of money to blow like us. to make sure they don't get screwed over like we did. sadly there has been many reviews of this store not letting people return shoes. they are shady people working there so make sure the shoe fits before leaving store even if you don't have socks. Because its the end of the world if you try to return them!
Donna Wesselman: I bought shoes and socks for my grandson. I took one sock off to try them on him and they were way too tight. Shoes were small too. When I tried to return them was told I couldn’t because they weren’t all hooked together. Not customer friendly there.

Out of s,m,l sizes for several shirts and the jeggings that we love so much. I know it is back to school season but perhaps this store needs additional ordering of those sizes for next year. I would have loved to have just finished our shopping today but will have to order online I guess.7/26/21Stopped in to see if they had certain colors of shirts my daughter wants—-store was a mess. And still VERY limited sizes and colors.
Lindsey Camden: I love The Children’s Place. It’s been my favorite place to shop for clothes for my daughter (currently 4 years old) for about 2 years. Their clothes are cute & age appropriate, the staff is nice, shipping is free which is awesome, the quality of their items is as close to perfect as you could expect to get & they have great prices/sales.
Amber Spear: I had the worst experience ever! Never will order from them again! It’s so sad because I love their clothes but the way I was treated and basically robbed of my money today was completely wrong! Took my money, confirmed my order, I took two hours picking out my 6 yr olds school clothes and shoes all for them to confirm and take my money $207.00 for them to cancel the order three hours later talking about my info didn’t match but when I went to look it’s exactly the same on both billing and shipping! She’s to transfer from virtual to In person Monday and now will not start due to no school clothes even coming I order immediate shipping within 3 days and now I am out of $207.00 and told to reorder and pay again! I do not recommend ordering online to anyone! Terrible experience

Stephanie Hayden: I have always felt this store is cramped. when my kids were little if i had a stroller, i would refuse to go in. yesterday i watched a Grandma in a wheelchair try to navigate this store and i couldn't believe how much more difficult she had it. trying to view each section was a fight. Something needs to be done. my heart went out to her. i complained to the manager and she said corporate won't let them help make it more accessible. this store needs more room for parents and handicap. even i by myself with a purse on my shoulder can walk around with out bumping into something. it's crazy. 31 would be a more popular store if you would figure out a way to make it NOT SO CROWDED. Having the counter in the middle of the store is just stupid. all of this should be in the front, along with the dressing closets. babies next and everythi else in back. No parent with a crying baby or toddler wants to fight their way from the BACK of the store. strollers and wheelchairs need room to turn. Its already a difficult task getting ready for the day, dont make it harder. there are usually plenty of staff, why not utilize vertical space more.Concerned customer
