Angela Epp: When I had COVID, I was able to get on a protocol of medications that really helped me to get through it quickly. One medication had to be custom-made for my weight and was not available just anywhere. The staff was kind and helpful.

Jenny Kalis: I can't say enough good things about this pharmacy. We started getting compounded prescriptions there nearly 15 years ago for our family. The pharmacists are extremely personable, kind and caring, but most importantly, knowledgeable. They are always patient in answering my questions. I recently made a visit to get a supplement to help lower my husband's cholesterol and the pharmacist guided me on the best supplements and explained thoroughly why and how the supplements would work. He also encouraged us to follow-up with testing through our doctor to monitor how the supplements are working. Also, one time, I got a prescription and didn't like the capsule it came in. The pharmacist remade the batch for me at no cost without any frustration. It is such a good feeling to be confident in those who provide our healthcare and I am grateful to this pharmacy for the services they provide.

Lynn Zhao: My mother picked up a prescription for our cat at Nora Apothecary and received less than satisfactory care. The woman at the counter (Dena? Donna?) belittled her due to her accent and asked her if she knew how to spell. Not only this, but she also raised her voice at my mother and left her feeling extremely uncomfortable and dejected. What kind of customer service is this? Certainly the type that makes us choose a different pharmacy from now on.

Lauren Skinner: The entire staff at this clinic is amazing! I recently took in my 8 month old puppy Piper for what I thought was kennel cough but thankfully the team was very thorough for the appropriate diagnosis of pneumonia. It never feels good when your animals are sick but everyone on the team was so compassionate and attentive throughout this process. Dr. Shelly truly went above and beyond to constantly check in on Piper in between her appointments and on the weekends. They really care and it shows!

Sucharitha Bose: Dr. Shelly, vanessa and the front desk staff were fantastic. I was concerned about possible seizures in my dog and they were able to fit us in as new patients the same morning. They were thorough and listened to all my concerns. Dr. Shelly reached out to the specialist when she wasn’t sure instead of an automatic referral. She and Vanessa had combed through his old records and addressed things that I had brought up with his old vet. These were concerns that either were blown off by his old vet or are still pending a call back to discuss when I had called the old vet 2-3 months ago. Dr. Shelly called me back the next day to discuss as promised. Price wise, about 20% more expensive than the old vet we had seen in the area but may be worth it for quality of care. Happy to switch care to this team from here on out.

Madison Hussey: The absolute best! I had been looking for a new vet to take my 14 year old dog to and I’m so glad I found this place. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to visit more than a few times as my dog passed shortly after. I called the office & asked to speak with Dr. Shelly as I had a few questions for her about my dog’s death. She talked to me for over 15 minutes and answered all of my questions and never tried to rush me off the phone, even though she was going on vacation the next day. She was very compassionate and we received a card in the mail a few days later with ALL of the staff writing a few sentences & sending their condolences - it was the sweetest.Dr. Shelly is the best and the vet tech we had was great. The front desk were always very kind as well. I highly recommend this vet!

Kristin Stockton: I love them!! The vet techs all my know my cat by name and are so friendly! The vet Caleb really cares and gives good advice and options without being pushy.
Sam Jackson: Absolutely love this place. I’ve been taking my American Bully here for over a year now and have had nothing but great experiences. My dog Emmett absolutely loves going to see them, especially his favorite tech, Alex! Everyone who works there goes above and beyond for not only help our fur babies, but they help owners too! I’ve never been pushed to buy or pressured into expensive testing, foods, medicines, etc. They try every option before taking extreme measures, and they communicate/explain things in ways non-veterinary people will understand. Their “Pet Prime” program is also incredibly helpful, you pay a monthly fee and get unlimited exams, all vaccinations and preventatives, annual testing, & other discounts. I truly don’t have anything but good things to say about this place!
Josh Banks: For a last minute appt, Pet Wellness got us in to the closest location that had openings. The staff were wonderful, made time to hear my concerns, a d dealt with them with all of the care I could have wanted for myself!

Pet Wellness clinic understands that as pet owners, our pets are our lives, but we also have our own lives. Scheduling is always easy and in cases of emergency they have always been able to accommodate.They have also always given me options for care, clearly outlining services in an estimate before care and have never shamed me for choosing the care that is best for both our kittens and our wallet. Savannah Schilling: Just took my dog here for the first time and had a great experience! She gets really scared going to the vet but everyone was so sweet and patient with her. Even tho our appointment was taking longer than usual, they still took their time and made sure to not stress her out as much as they could. We used to go to a different wellness location, but I definitely prefer and will be going back to this one!

Marz G.: Be aware that this is a bait and switch establishment that prioritizes profit over the well being of animals. My dog needed an influenza booster - I stopped by and called and two people told me that as long as I had records of the first shot, I could schedule an appointment and exam fee would be waived. I took time of work and came in only to be told that they need to charge me $70 for a full exam (which my dog just had a month ago) to get the booster. They also didn’t care that the 3 week period from first shot to the booster expires tomorrow. Their explanation was that they saw my ex’s dog record from 3 years ago and therefore they had to charge full exam fee. Please go to a real Vet that actually cares about dogs and not just there to cash in.

Regina Martinez: I have DEFINITELY recommended pet wellness to so many people. I live in an apartment complex and often see people with new puppies looking for recommendations. You guys are seriously the best I've ever been to. Wait times are basically non-existent. Team works so well with making you and your animal feel comfortable and heard while addressing all issues. If you are upfront about financial strain, they will do their very best to make sure your animal is taken care of while keeping your finances in mind. A referral program would be awesome too if it can be done!

Tracey Markham: The care from the clinic is excellent. I just lost my dog about three weeks ago. His name was meatball we had him for 12 years. I contacted the clinic to know that my dog had passed away I was on the premium plan for payment $39 a month I think it would’ve been more reasonable for them to offer a reduced rate until next March when my plan is paid off. I think it’s very cruel to the pet owners who have lost their loved one and To have to see a constant reminder every month of money coming out of your account!! When your pet no longer is living. That’s something that they need to revisit I don’t think that it’s fair to a family or owner that’s so attached to their pet, they have to go through the agony of making a payment,💔💔😡 playing on owners sympathy$$$

The staff was amazing and got her in asap & i had never even been there before! They were so kind and helpful. Needless to say, we are switching vets to be full time patients here!

Kendra Caldwell-Thornton: I have been taking my dog here for almost a decade. Polite staff that loves your pet almost as much as you do. The pricing is the average & you're likely not going to find a better price without sacrificing the care of your pet. They offer not only great care for your pet but medical boarding for the ones that need extra care when you go out of town. I definitely recommend them for your non-human babies.
Mark Holden: The team at Michigan Road at Crooked Creek is incredible. Doctors, Vet Techs and Office Team do an amazing job. Our rescue, Guardian Angel Basset Rescue, has taken over 125 bassets to this team over the past 3 years. We know every member of the team will give our bassets the special care they need when first entering the rescue program. They are an important part of preparing the rescues for their forever adoptions.

Sunny Reed: I've taken all my dogs to this location for various reasons over the years. Most recently, I took in my son's dog (a large pit bull mix) who badly needed a nail trim at the time he came back to me. I learned that he also had a shattered nail, so this clinic took care of the shattered nail and nail trim. After his visit, I asked about the length and curve of his back nails and was told that it was fine ($382). 2 weeks later, another nail separated from the quick and I had to return for this nail to be taken care of and was told that he was given another nail trim, at no cost (the bill was still $286). I noticed the clinic used nail trimmers (no drimmel) and my dogs nails were always still pretty long and jagged after each appointment. Since the last visit, he's lost 2 more nails and now has another nail that has split from the quick and this office is not willing to work with me on pricing; they've assured me it'll be around $300 again. I asked about using a drimmel and they stated that it costs twice the amount of a regular trim. Given the size of my dog and the thickness of his nails, I'd think experts would have recommended this instead of my having to ask. I'd also think that this clinic would be willing to discount this SECOND VISIT FOR THE SAME ISSUE that is likely due to the splintering that occurred when they used nail clippers, instead of a drimmel on my dog. I'll never return nor recommend the 79th Street location again.

Emma Selm-Keck: We just switched to vet for our new rescue pup. We had been with a vet in Broad Ripple for over 10yrs but had a couple negative experiences there during the pandemic so we decided to start fresh with our new family member. Michigan Rd was suggested by a trusted neighbor and we couldn't be happier! Our new gal is a muscly 25lbs dachshund mix who tries to hide her fear by being tough but she warmed up to the tech at curbside and walked in willingly without her momma! Due to COVID, we have yet to go inside and meet the vet and other staff but everyone over the phone has been simply wonderful! Thank you, Michigan Rd for providing great care for my fur baby and awesome customer service!

My cat gets very anxious around other dogs so that was very helpful. Dr. Ash was very thorough with explaining her treatment plan and up front about the costs which I appreciate. The team helped both dogs out quickly and listened as I reported information I received from the Internal Medicine vet at VCA who ended up caring for the older dog for 48 hours with chest xray, bloodwork and bronchoscopy with biopsies! Both dogs are on the mend! I am forever grateful for the care of my dogs as well as my 3 cats (the oldest one being just shy of 20 years old!).

They have a calm room with a cat tree that helps provide places for scratching or security if needed. Every cat is different.The techs and doctors are kind and gentle. My cat does not like to be handled, but she tolerates their touching and handling so they definitely know how to make a cat feel calm and relaxed!I have never had to wait long to check in for the appointment and have never waited long once in an exam room.

Either because of them not disclosing reasons for tests and charges or just not really caring about my fur baby.We had been to Binford Pet Wellness Clinic a long time ago but had been other places in recent years. Our dog suddenly started showing some concerning symptoms, so we booked here again.She and I were both a ball of nerves going in. Everyone was so kind and so patient from beginning to end. They were very busy, but they continued to check in on us and give updates, so we weren't wondering what was going on. They explained every step and updated charges with every change. Which were pretty reasonable given today's costs.Dr. Miranda was very informative and even consulted a second doctor to be sure she was giving me all of the info. Our nurse, Alicia, was so sweet and patient with my poor, nervous baby. I felt so supported by them through the whole process! I would definitely recommend them for all of your furbaby needs!

I cancelled the service after three years, during which I went to two vet visits and one surgery (which we paid 4 figures for on top of the subscription fees).I called to cancel the subscription, and they seemed pleasant enough, but then didn’t cancel the service, instead left me a voicemail wanting me to listen to a sales pitch from the manager.After I called a second time and insisted they cancel it, then then sent me an email stating that I still owed them over 300 dollars. Apparently over $3000 in monthly fees since June of 2020 weren’t enough to cover the two vet visits my two dogs each received in that time.So when they say the subscription covers all basic services that is a complete lie. I wish I could give negative stars. Beware, read the fine print very carefully, because they are as slimy and dishonest as a politician selling used cars.Complete and utter scam.

I show up at 9:15am and don’t get into a room until 9:45am. Tech came in with an attitude, so I left, and the receptionist had an attitude when I said why.Be cautious with these veterinarians that are owned by larger corporate entities. I’m sure it’s no fault of the staff before the acquisition), but being number driven rather than customer-driven in this profession isn’t what I look for in pet care.

Closed on Sundays otherwise convenient in every way. Located in the first building to the west of Community Hospital complex parking lot is always clean well-lit and safe it inside the pharmacy there's a feel of private ownership which I bike and his impeccable cleanliness organized approach to stocking all there interesting in some unique items in a limited in space. And while they stay busy I've never had to wait more than 2 or 3 minutes and I usually don't have to wait at all

They called to change the appointment but never a time that worked with my schedule. They said to keep my appointment on that Friday. I showed up to my cats appointment and was told it was canceled and she would not be seen today because the vet she was going to see was no longer there.The earliest they could get her back in was over 2 weeks away. Neeldess to say I was not impressed with this vet and I got an appointment at another vet much sooner.

Lexie Hoskins: Dr. Ambrose is absolutely wonderful, however the fill in vet IS NOT. My family called early this morning to schedule an appointment to come in later that day to put our dog down. She is very old and in insurmountable pain. When we get there, and the fill in “vet” checked her out, she refused to put her down because she “wasn’t comfortable.” She proceeded to tell us that it was our choice because she is OUR dog, but refused to grant us our wish. I’m sorry but if you’re too “uncomfortable” euthanizing a dog as a vet, get a new job. Now we have to sit and watch out precious angel suffer for God knows how much longer. This is a picture to show how old our baby is.

Erica Pence: To everyone who complained about the price and "unnecessary" tests/treatment, or just complained, I saw your other reviews and most of them were negative which shows what kind of person you are.Dr Keating will not perform surgery if the labs are off, or something needs to be handled first. Tooth cleaning is a surgery!!! The animal must be put to sleep in order to do so. This means you have to have someone there to monitor vitals, and your animal could crash (heart stops) due to an undetected heart condition or other things. Putting a living creature under anesthesia without labs is not smart. Would you want your doctor performing surgery on you and not have any idea of your medical history? Animals can't tell us what's wrong. The tests will. You have to treat certain things before going under anesthesia because it can cause the animal to have complications before and after. I find it appalling that people just want a quick fix and ignore the facts then bash a doctor.Yes she is pricey BECAUSE she makes sure to cover ALL of the bases to get a full medical work up of your animal. If you can't afford it, go elsewhere, but don't bash someone's business.
Mercedes Hollett: **The additional star is because our first visit in 2022 was fine.**2023 January update: When I arrived for my 5pm appt for my two cats, I was told that there would be a delay. I was not informed how long, just that there was a delay due to emergency surgeries. Owners cannot go in with their pets, so I was in the parking lot for two hours from start to finish. I wish I was given the option to reschedule for another day entirely. I don’t know how long the cats were left in a surgery room before they had their physical, which could not even be done because they were so stressed by the time the doctor got to them.Furthermore, the doctor was not aware of one of my cats' blindness when she asked me if the cat was having issues walking around at home because of potential cataracts. I had told the nurse at the beginning of the visit that this cat was blind, so this gives me the impression that the doctor did not have time or care to look at the initial notes, again, cementing my initial wish that this visit should have been rescheduled entirely. Clearly, she was tired or pressed for time, but this is incredibly inconsiderate of my time and money because I paid for a full examination and received half, if that.***(March 2023) Final update: the day after the visit, I received the customary follow-up call, in which I was told that the other cat needed a tooth removed. The vet had forgotten to mention this during the wellness visit. The estimate for the tooth removal was $$$, of course.Fed up, we went to a different vet for a second opinion. Everything was fine and dandy with our cats. No cataracts and perfectly clean teeth. 🙄
Wilson: This is lengthy but necessary. I took my ~10 year old rescue pit bull into the vet for a general checkup after being adopted. I want to make it a point I got her from a SENIOR dog rescue. Anyone with working eyes can see she is an old dog. On the initial vet visit, Dr Keating estimated my dogs age to be approximately 4-6 years old. Another vet there then asked me on the next visit why her age was 4-6 years old because that was clearly not correct. A couple of vet visits later, she suggested to do blood work in lieu of a dental appt. I drop her off. I get a call the same day stating she thinks today is the day to put my dog down. This was very surprising to me and came out of NOWHERE considering she just had multiple vet visits and was in the same condition. I then get there and my dog is walking around panting in a very hot exam room and clearly in distress. Nothing is out of the ordinary but Dr Keating explains that she has a mass in her stomach that will likely rupture in the next few days, she was one of the most dehydrated dogs they had seen, bloodwork looks very poor (this was later proven to NOT be the case) and she was panting so she was clearly uncomfortable. The room was so unbearably hot they had a portable AC unit in there….. ?? If I was a dog I’d be panting too. I felt like I was being cornered into putting my dog down. I then ask for a paper copy of her blood work and compare it to her previous blood work and there were minor changes. Dr Keating explained that her bloodwork because of the dehydration. I asked if we could possibly start a “hospice” plan and she said that was not an option. We walked out of there with our very much alive dog and she is STILL ALIVE 6 MONTHS LATER.I would suggest not going here to say the least.

Connie Flowers: This was our first visit so I was a bit confused by the process of getting my pet in to see the vet. Communicaton between me and the staff was via telephone. Max was taken in and attended to as I was sitting in my vehicle receiving calls from the nurse and vet. I was given options as to what treatment path I wanted for Max. No pressure.**I was not familiar with the area and arrived late. I kept in contact with the staff who were understanding and fit Max in instead of making me reschedule. Love that!
Jenifer Vohs: This place is despicable!! We first went last fall - New to the area, it was my elderly mother taking her two elderly dogs. Last year they sent us on a wild goose chase to specialty vets looking for something wrong with the younger of the two old lady dogs - that cost us more than $8,000 (imagine that for a disabled elderly woman on fixed income, who had already endured the loss of two sisters earlier that year! She could not bear another loss and felt trapped to listen to the bad advice from the "experts". . Talk about taking advantage of the vulnerable!!) All that led to nothing but credit card debt and unnecessarily torturing the poor dog with invasive medical exams that resulted in no treatment plan... The dog still has the same issue as last year but also seems to be doing fine! Now, they tried to scam her into doing $1000s in tests for her dogs that maybe have a year or two left. They then charged her more than $300 for the visit & didn't address any of my moms concerns nor even give her dogs shots (which is why she brought them!). I had to work and couldn't be there to advocate but sounds to me like they should be ashamed of their insensitive and greedy behavior toward people who don't have a lot of resources but want the best for their fur babies! I strongly suggest steering clear of this awful place that cares more about lining their pockets than anything else- including your pets!!

Instead of bringing your pet in and talking with the vet, They isolated themselves and you never saw a vet or know who you were dealing with. Dr. Keating focused on surgeries and hired relief vets for daily patient care. The relief vets mis-diagnosed my shepherd and completely missed him having common bloat symptoms. Needless to say, it didn't end well for him (or us). The lack of doctor interaction and communication with pet owners was too much to have any trust in Dr Keating anymore and I won't go back to any practice that over isolates doctors from patients like this one.

Finally found it.Enrollment had multiple PHI violations having me yell my full SSN, DOB and mother's maiden name in a crowded waiting room. Enrollment then checked me in to Triage for some reason?40 minutes later, triage: "The COVID vaccination section closed at 3:00pm." It was 3:45.Thanks for nothing.

Green Bean: Psychiatric department is weak. Very bad about follow up calls and helping with issues that are pertinent to everyday life. The psychiatrists do NOT like to make themselves available. Very bad about call backs.
