Nichole Luttrell: I went to a event here and love it. The hotel staff was friendly and the place was clean. They have a restaurant inside the hotel and a little store that sells different coffees, drinks and snack. The bathrooms where a little nasty but there was alot of people here for the event. I never stayed in a room but plan on it the next time we go here

It did take awhile for the elevator as only one was working.Food & drinks: I had a good supper and good service but breakfast in the morning didn't happen. I went in and asked for coffee. I waited patiently for the waitress to come and takey food order. I never got my coffee. There were several tables that complained they were getting the wrong orders and I got up and left.

kay wooden: We deduced to stay here because of the WWE convention and plus was informed of their remodel. A pond check-in it was about 45 mins due to the WWE. We entered our room which was spacious but we had a HUGH crack across the window. We immediately noticed from desk. As we walked around hotel we notice ALOt of flaws within the hotel who just had a remodel. The ice machine was disassembled on 4 th floor, when using the stairs it was difficult to open the door so they had durations on how to open a door. ( very unsafe if there was a fire). There was mold in ice bucket, it took 10 minutes before getting hot water. The restaurant staff seemed exhausted and over worked. The only time thing good was the bed. It was comfy. #456

Jeff Cole: Terrible experience. A/C was not working in my room. (It was defiantly working throughout the rest of the hotel) I went to the front seat each of the 4 nights to request it get fixed or switch rooms etc. Each time I was told they would send maintenance. Maintenance never should up. The coolest my room got was 76degrees. I couldn’t sleep and dreaded taking a morning shower as that would raise the room temperature another couple degrees.

Michelle Baker: I’m conflicted. Hotel is aesthetically pleasing upon entry. Nice seating area with fireplace. I’ve had a few hiccups the past 2 times staying here. I believe my first room didn’t have a fridge nor a microwave. Todays room has a fridge but the tv is out. So be it. My main concern is the shuttle driver I had today. Yikes!!!!! As I entered the van while a play by play of Jesus’ life was BLASTING on the radio I was soon distracted by his driving. Never made a complete or half stop at a stop sign and drive than van like it had two wheels concerning a turn. I screeched and yelled but I don’t think he heard me over the radio.

Jim Garland: Do not stay here. It's dirty and has mold. This hotel was on a list of hotel for a Stay-to-Play volleyball tournament.The rooms were nasty. There was mold, the bathtub was peeling and dirty, and the bedding was stained and had other items on it. One of our parents said they found a used baby diaper by their bed.Management refunded our money, but now we have to pay for a higher rate elsewhere due to the last minute change.

Detech81: Stayed here back in 2017 which yes years ago. However, other sites are not posting my review because of negativity and 'profanity'. Wife and I stayed here for 2 nights back in April of 2017 for a conference she had. After checking in, there were a lot of kids (not teens), but a lot of kids running around the lobby, hallways. We were on the 1st floor another mistake.The room above us the kids were jumping off the furniture. Basically the hotel was a daycare and no parent stepped up to discipline. During the 2nd night sometime between midnight and 4 am. I woke up to late night to drunks trying to get into our room either thru the connecting door or hallway door. I nearly gave up and left the hotel on lack of sleep. But I doubt we would of gotten a refund.

Nathan Arndts: Found this place because of it's proximity to 8 Seconds Saloon. The free shuttle to and from the venue allowed for a great guys trip, where we knew we'd be safely delivered and picked up no matter how much we partook in the festivities at the concert. But the hotel was not very busy at all, so I'm not sure why they'd give me the Windlowless Shoebox Suite unless the place is at full capacity.I would not recommend staying here. If you get Room 216, kindly ask for another room. Or just pay a little extra and stay somewhere else completely.Rooms: My room did not have a window. It was miserable.

Melissa A: The only reason we stayed here, was because the hotel we wanted, was full. Not a very nice hotel; this is a one nighter, type hotel. They charge you 150, for incidental, which is a bit much for a hotel that has s lot of cosmetic issues, a staff member got stuck in the elevator, there was a used bar of soap in my shower ( show the lack off cleaning and attention to detail), beds were bit small for a room that size, and the mattress, and were very lumpy. The best part of my stay, was being with my family. I will give them this, there was a microwave and fridge in the room and the size of the room. All in all, this hotel needs some major renovating.I was only in contact with one desk clerk, which was very pleasant.

Genia Miller: Location is walkable to many options downtown. The free covered parking is directly under the hotel. You enter through Drive entrance on one side and exit on the other. The staff are friendly but not attentive. It feels like they are understaffed, therefore making it difficult for staff to make sure everyone is checked in, areas are cleaned, breakfast is restocked, etc.Updated decor & pet friendly but not always cleaned properly.The elevator is small but rooms are good sized and updated.You get what you pay for.

Paul Burcham: Had a horrible experience at this La Quinta. I stay at La Quinta's quite often this was top 3 the on the list of bad ones I have been to. The rooms were horribly renovated, I have had better gas station breakfast, one of the rooms we had the A/C-Heat unit was not working and they said it was against policy to change rooms unless it was unlivable, the exhaust fan in the bathroom was extremely too loud, the room smelled old and musty, and the cleanliness was subpar. My shoes would stick to the tile floor in my room. The badge reader for the door to get in from outside only sometimes worked so you would have to call someone to let you in. The only positives were the free parking and how close it was to where we were working. Won't be returning to this one!

DTanyion: The only good things about this stay were the free covered parking, the friendliness of the front desk staff, and the fact that this is a pet friendly hotel. Now for the CONS. The elevator was amazingly small. 3 people with 1 bag each was a very tight fit. The room had issues. Bathroom door did not close. There was a green ring all around the inside of the bathtub and a green calcified substance on the faucet in the tub. Tried to inform the front desk but nobody answered the phone and nobody appeared to be around when we went downstairs. Room size was far smaller than average. Overall just not a good experience for the price.

Mohammed Bukhari: I checked-in in on Christmas eve, and the lady in the reception looked like they forced her to work that evening; she was mumbling about work on Christmas eve loudly, which made me uncomfortable, at the begging she said you don’t have a reservation, and when I showed her the booking she put me in a room without water, I called reception with no answering, I want down, and I told her, and she starts yelling “this is Christmas eve .... I thought it would be easy” I asked her to use the restroom in the lobby, but she told me that she is germophobic and she just sprayed the restroom !!! , she moved me to another room in a different floor, and I had to move 3 of my luggage, and she kept mumbling about her work that evening, and she didn’t even say sorry to me, not even once. I never saw treatment like this. I understand that it was Christmas eve, but that was not my fault; I thought I deserved a "sorry" for giving me room without water then I had to move my stuff again to another room.

Alice Dant: Front desk employees very nice and welcoming. Our room was very nice, clean and quiet. Perfect location if seeing concert or game at Bainbridge Arena. Easy 2 block walk, can just park at the hotel.

Lisa Cronkhite: I always come here with my Sister the new people who took over are definitely doing a better job in getting the hotel together. It’s worth the price. Alyssa, the young lady at the front desk with blond hair was welcoming, funny, and extremely sweet. Although I think she no longer works there. She’s definitely the person to talk to when you’re checking in! The bar is STILL not open. The hot water is an on and off issue too. There’s no smoke alarms in the bed rooms and if there is it’s off. Overall, The lake view is absolutely stunning makes up for a lot!

James Warner: Pros: We reserved a room with two queen beds and were given a room with one queen bed. But after going to the front desk this was resolved quickly and we were moved to another room. The indoor pool also looked decent, though we didn’t have the chance to use it. The beds were decent.Cons: That said, the overall cleanliness of the hotel and the room was really lacking. Big stain on the carpet, fingerprints all over the mirror, and some pest trap in the bathroom. (I suspect cockroaches, as I saw a baby roach later in the evening.) There was also random construction stuff lying about, like large loose tiles in one of the walkways. The floor in the breakfast area was extremely sticky.The breakfast was also pretty sad. It consisted of a couple choices of cold cereal, toast, and coffee. Thankfully our kids were excited to have sugary cereal, though we were disappointed that there wasn’t anything substantive, no fruit, and not even drinking water available.The TV was also set to the wrong input and we couldn’t get it to work, though both my wife and I are pretty tech savvy. Even more frustrating, we were unable to get the shower/bath to work at all. We were also disappointed that each bed just had two pillows.Overall, this seemed more like a Motel 6 than a Ramada. The price is high for what you get.

Brian Meyer: Place has a funky smell throughout, pool was dirty. The room ac / heat unit did not work. All the lamps, the TV & the microwave were all unplugged. People who were not registered were all over the pool area. Unregistered guests came & went through the night. Location is not great. Definitely does not live up to the images portrayed on line.

Megan Galloway: Front desk staff was amazing Natasha and Jessie were a big help. Although the rooms could have been a little cleaner we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast could be better as well. Hotel front desk was decorated for Easter and it was very cute. The young man that works in maintenance came and fixed our TV and was very polite I didn’t get his name but he was a polite gentleman. We will be back for Race weekend.

Not the best location, hard to find. But overall the room was fine, except a leaky toilet, which they fixed. Fridge and coffeepot just no that was a nightmare. Neither worked at all. This seems like the hotel people live at so you saw the same people entire stay, who also seem too be employees.Safety: Trash and broken glass all over the place. Gotta be careful where you stepped. Roach was crawling on the wall when I got back from swimming. Do not go here it’s filthy, save ya coins! After they said they cancelled my reservation, I’m still getting the run around right now 👎🏽

John Sullivan: Awesome place to stay with very friendly front desk personnel. Clean cool looking lobby. I reserved a king room and they upgraded me to a king suite which had a living room, kitchen table 2 TVs and a separate bedroom. I was surprised at the price I got the room for and then the upgrade was just wow. The room was very clean and huge and the bed was so comfortable. Right outside the room was the pool that was open all night so went swimming at 2:30 in the morning with no one around. I highly recommend this hotel for all that are visiting the area.

Lisa Zielinski: This place was disgusting. It was not clean we were traveling for a competition. The windows did not lock on the first floor very well. Our kids felt unsafe. They didn’t want to sleep here we as adults didn’t want to sleep here. TV’s didn’t work in rooms, dirty floors, holes in walls, stains on floor. The breakfast was disgusting. A lady walked up to our group and said she has been living there for awhile and that the juice machine doesn’t work and then when it did you couldn’t drink what came out of it anyways. And she told us the food was non edible and be careful what you choose. The kids doors didn’t lock all the way and they used the benches to keep their doors closed. I would not suggest anyone stay here. Very disappointing for a Wyndham property.

In the beginning, I didn't like the 1st room they arranged for me ,I talked to front desk and they immediately changed a new room which has 2 queen beds ,clean chairs and 3 romantic lights. It is great and I appreciate very much. Very strongly recommend here. One of the best things is: there are square town,many restaurants, especially Cracker Barrel Old County Store near by here. John Press: I was very disappointed in this Wyndham location. I wasn't expecting luxury accomodations but this place is in need of a major update. The tub was worn, the lamps and mirror were rusty. The tub didn't drain (water backed up to above your ankles when showering), the toilet ran constantly and the refrigerator made a constant ticking noise 24x7. I reported all this to the front desk and was told it would be fixed by 3pm or they would give us a different room. I left my cell phone number with the front desk so they could notify me if I needed to return from my planned activities for the day to move rooms. I received no call from them so I figured they fixed the tub, toilet & refrigerator. When we got back to the room, only the tub had been fixed. In addition, housekeeping had NOT refreshed the room, emptied the trash or provided clean towels. It was too late and I was too tired to deal with it. In addition, I had specifically asked for a first floor room close to the lobby. The room was first floor but was a very long walk from the lobby, only a few rooms were further away. The carpet in the hallway was warped and a tripping hazard. I also suspect that the staff were living in the hotel. I observed multiple people going in/out of rooms then into staff areas and they were dressed in casual, street clothes not anything professional or indicating they were staff or working. I doubt I would consider staying here again. Oh, and they also demanded a $100 room deposit. This was not communicated when making the reservation.

Lumpy8850: I have stayed in about 6 different budget hotels around the Indianapolis area over the years, and this one is on the higher end of the spectrum.The lady at the check in counter was very nice and courteous when I checked in at 0200. Everything was very straightforward, except the $20 deposit. Whatever.I get to my room, which is small, but it is well appointed. Fridge. Microwave. 40" flat screen TV. Dresser and desk. Nice.The bathroom is the size of a telephone booth, which is fine, because I'm on a solo mission.Bed was better than sleeping in my car. The linens and towels were clean enough to use.The housekeeping staff did a great job. During my short stay, they replaced the bath mat, used towels, sheets, pillowcases, and blanket. Also replenished the motel provided soap and shampoo.The neighborhood may be sketchy, the motel may look sketchy as well, but for a man on a weekend getaway, this place is like a dorm room. Not terrible, not great.

It's no big deal because I'm from this area it's always good to be aware of your surroundings due to all the shootings that happen round herr Lol 😆! In all sincerity, for older folks or people with young children it's no big deal to stay around here it's not as bad as the media makes it out to be.

Kathleen Quigley: Room was filthy, the shower water smelled rusty, the bathroom door and floor had been recently sawed/cut and there was gravel and wood shavings all over. There was no breakfast supplied, not even coffee. The ice machine was on the other side of the building, in a locked room that was not accessible. Very unfriendly staff, I heard a baby crying when I called in to reserve a room. Horrible place all around.

Jess Moreland: To be honest I didn't even want to leave a star because I was so unsatisfied with my visit. I was discriminated for being a female. On top of having a nasty filthy room I also had very poor customer service from the gentleman that works the front desk. The female that works the front desk is very sweet and kind and professional unlike the mail. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone I would tell you too go just a few blocks up to the Norwood which is a cleaner and more respectful to their guests without a deposit.
