Sean Peters: My car broke down in a busy spot today and the officer who stopped was friendly, understanding and causally gave me more time to fix it. All the officers I've dealt with,(since I've been older) have been great but she rocked.

The officers that responded to the scene were amongst the most professional and understanding individuals that we have ever dealt with. They quickly assessed the situation, took down relevant information, ensured all were safe, and kept traffic moving. I can't express how grateful we are for the help they gave. The only officers name I directly recall is Officer Morgan. Thank you, sir for going above and beyond.

Michael Obregon: Took my four little children to Kids Kingdom playground in South Bend. There were older teenage kids at playground throwing rocks around my small child and I told them to stop. The older teenage kids got aggressive so we left. I called the non emergency line advising the police of the situation and that I was concerned about the older kids escalating the situation. The dispatch couldn't careless. I know the police have other serious issues to address but you would hope that they could at least send a squad by to make sure things were ok. Disappointed by the lack of service and protection.

Trash Can: The south bend police force is extremely disorganized and rude. They live life with zero repercussions for all the terrable things they do and treat over half of the community like peasants while still demanding the respect they "deserve". If you're lucky enough to get one of the very few decent human beings on this police force consider yourself blessed because the number of terrable experiences outweighs the number of pleasant experiences exponentially.

Tori Goeringer: Your officers should have the character to follow traffic laws if they are going to enforce them. It may have been the actions of one person, but your whole department should be ashamed. If that 22 year old woman ran a red light at 95 mph and killed one of your officers, the reaction would be far different. Either way, those two children are stripped of a mother due to his negligence. I can only hope the other officers bearing your badge are less of a threat to society.

Linda Davis: Handcuffs were very comfortable not too tight lots of padding, very roomy in the back of the car they even helped me in and shut the door for me, such gentlemen. Fast ride to the police station didn't have to stop at lights, warm welcoming to the jail with a brand new change of clothes and shoes,very fashionable, board and food was complimentary and the staff was there 24/7. Overall a 10/10 will definately be planning another stay with them.

SBPD Police officers are part of the community we live in, take a huge risk to safeguard lives and property. I have traveled to at least 20 countries, 40 USA states. big cities, towns and I can say SBPD is on tops and I salute them.
