Beacon Health & Fitness South Bend: what do users think?
Mary Lovett: I really enjoy the group fitness classes - including the instructors!
Alice Van Meter: Hoping someone will clean the shower and adjoining dressing area floors ..also pool steps and deck need a good scrubbing......same dirt on deck in same spots for months now.
Matt Ambrose: There's very few places you can just get a one day pass to swim laps. This place is the best for that. Also free parking for up to 2 hours.
Mikala Narlock: I love this gym. Seriously. It is a little smaller than some might expect, and not all of the equipment is brand new, but this gym has a ton of character and countless regulars. You really feel part of a community at this gym!
Edward O Foster Sr.: Went for therapy. Therapist listens to what I have to say. Ann is very thorough.
Andrea Bobby: I've been a member for about 1 month and I really look forward to going. It's got everything and a very pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff and a wide range of equipment and amenities. Very happy I joined.
Darrin Gates: dirty, rude staff, rude desk lady.
Religion is love Kindness: Id not even bother this place is such a mess they expect you to have no other life, they will hire u & it will take months & months like 2 months. I showed up for my first day & there was no manager.he quit. then the bigger manage Jared acted like he didnt want me to show up i reached out to hr & they were HORRID how does Mary Stancombe have a job here she lacks the skills to be nice to people she asked me WHY i left my time sheet on my bosses desk when i was told to in my hiring paperwork.ther was no one there. she nit picked me. thats ok i know her face now.
Nowu Know: Mary Stancombe needs a new job she is NOT suited for HR i have never been treated so badly. i was injured on a projector here no manager showed up for my first day Jared Kopal tried not to pay me. this palce is run down the HR is GARBAGE
That Honey BB: Jared has no idea what he is doing he is rude he tired not to pay me. this is the worst place to work
Yoga USA: Can't wait for chair yoga with Brandi!
CReyes: Amazing place, loved the staff and great place to enjoy your day everyday ! Definitely going to get a membership soon! Hope I get a great deal for the good recommendation ;)
Colleen Renteria: Beacon is an awesome gym! Great classes and staff. They always make you feel welcome. I’ve been a member for 11 years.
Priscilla Jeffery: Very rude staff at the front desk! Would not recommend compared to their other locations.
Tom Hanks: Used to be a good place now it's too crowded , and annoying workers there, Fatt old guys always Walking around naked for no reason , when there is plenty of room to get dressed in the shower are behind curtain , and same weird old dude who ACCIDENTALLY 😤 keeps opening my shower curtain.
S Y: Great staff! Everyone is friendly and helpful! Location is a bit hard to find as it's on the third floor but it has a lot of equipment, great hours, and it's clean.
Thomas Garrod: Positive:Professionalism,QualityIt's not as big as Elkhart or Granger, but it's well laid out and is as accommodating as the other two. The only gripe is the locker sizes (had to nitpick for that). Highly recommend.
Jacob C.: Friendly and helpful staff. It’s never busy. I feel very secure, there have been a few times when I forget my lock and I never have any worries about just putting my stuff in an empty locker. Locker rooms are pleasant, clean and stocked. Clientele is mostly elderly, but not all. I never have a problem finding a machine I want to use or a free lane in the pool to swim in. I personally prefer this location over the new Granger location as it feels more intimate and also has basketball and racquetball courts. Plus I almost always find a parking spot right next to the door in the garage. Sure there are a few things that could use a little updating, but nothing about this place bothers me.If you’re serious about getting into a regular fitness regime, I suggest paying a little extra to go here than going the cheap route with Planet Fitness or other chains. My only issue is I wish they stayed open later on weekends (close at 5pm Saturday and Sunday)
Marcus Wicker: Positive:ProfessionalismBest gym I’ve ever been to. The staff is friendly. Nice hot tube and sauna.
Chris: Positive:QualityGreat gym! I enjoyed the basketball courts, indoor walking track, and sauna. I also enjoyed the coffee after my workouts! Highly recommend!
Alberto De la rosa: Positive:Communication

Pro Form Bike Shop: what do users think?
Bob Bella: Took a bag of Walmart mongoose broken parts and pictures from my phone. 10 minutes later got what I needed in and out and very knowledgeable friendly.
blair zordell: I needed to replace a broken derailleur quickly (racing on Saturday). With the internet suppliers, I know that quick service is not always possible. I called proform Monday afternoon, and they did not have it in stock. Ken checked with the supplier and ordered it for me. Arrived on Wednesday!
Britt O'Brien: Very friendly and helpful. I'm fairly new to the cycling scene and needed some assistance with finding a bike rack for my car. I've previously had some bad experience with other shops where I felt as though I was being snubbed due to my lack of knowledge, but not at all here! Not only did the gentleman assisting me help me to find the proper product, but he was kind enough to show me how to set it up.
Obed Antwi-Baidoo: A good man running the shop with good skills
scott davis: I took my Specialized bike there to repair a broken derailuer ...chain... and tune up.... this bike came back way better than it was brand new!!....great work guys.... and reasonable prices too!!
David E: Great bike shop to visit! They had supplies I have been looking for back home without any luck!
Steve Liskey: To say these folk are helpful is a understatement. Went in on a Sat and they spent an hour answering any and all of the wife and my novice questions. Helped us repair an older bike instead of pressuring us for sales. Wife was guided towards a solution for her road bike even when it move a sale away from them. Took my old bike, spent a ton of time to help me find a fix for it... three other shops would not look at it. To busy. There is no novice beware here. The folks gave us simply one of the best experiences we have had at any store let alone bikes. Mad props to these great folk, not going anywhere else.
Dave Grundy: Had a great experience getting a tire fixed here. I've been to a couple of other bike shops in South Bend and this place blew the others away. I can't believe I never realized this was here. It'll be the first and last stop for my cycling needs from now on.
Matthew Black: Even though they didn't have bikes in our price range, they were very helpful.
Quintin: Very helpful staff and decent prices for a local shop. The staff assisted me in getting the right parts to upgrade a old Fuji into a very reliable, smooth urban single speed. The pricing to have the rear cassette replace, I don’t have the tools, was very reasonable.
G Kame: They sell quality products and provide excellent customer service.
Matthew Fulcher: Fast and friendly service. Had a simple flat--were able to fix on the spot.
Bruce Corbett: Ken and his wife own an awesome shop!! Ken and the guys did amazing job on working and upgrading my ride. Always a pleasure to walk in your shop!! Bianchi rules!!!!
Carl Arelt: They always do as they promise.I ran out of stuff to do on my bike, so I’m now starting to take friends bikes over there.
Stephen Hicks: I never thought I could afford a bike from a real bike shop. However, I was wrong. Ken was great and made it worthwhile and even fitted me to the bike. I have enjoyed many miles on my Scott over the past few years and now am in need of tires and tubes. Even though they are slammed with ND students returning and race season, they are going to get me going before my trip south. This is a great shop with great folks that love to ride!
Jon Grimes: Wow! Customer service and knowledge are unprecedented.
Daragh Fogarty: Quick and friendly service. Prices are standard but not too crazy
Andy Heilmann: Super friendly and knowledgeableThey don't make me feel weird like some other bike shops
Ken Smith: I called this bike shop to see if they would consider shipping a bike since they are an authorized Bike Flights dealer. I told them that I had a vintage reproduction bike. I explained that I was going to purchase the bike if they would ship it. The lady told me they would. So, I purchased the bike and told the customer I purchased the bike from to deliver it here. I then called them to explain the bike would be delivered, and the owner stated that he refused to accept the bike from the seller stating that he was a problem. Apparently he had a previous bad experience with him. I tried to explain to the owner that he was only dropping the bike off because I had no way to get it there. I would be the person paying for shipping but he refused stating he would not accept the bike. No matter what I tried to do to convince him that I would be the one dealing with this, he refused. As much as I hate to post a negative review, I also am a business owner. In my right mind, I could not commit to providing a service, and then back out of doing what I committed to do, regardless of the situation. I believe in honoring what you say you will do even if it means you have to bite the bullet. In this case, the owner just did not want to deal with him dropping the bike off even though I told him, I would make sure he didn't say anything. Deeper into the conversation, the owner stated he didn't want to ship such a bike and it would be too much of a hassle and would probably have to go truck freight. If that's the case, then why are you an authorized shipper with Bike Flights? For a first time experience with this shop, this just doesn't leave a good taste in my mouth. While both the owner and lady (Might be owner's wife just not sure) were both polite to me, it still doesn't help the situation I was placed in. The whole reason I called first before purchasing the bike was to make sure they would ship the bike. Now, I have the hassle of trying to get my money back. If you as a business owner are not sure of complete details, ask before you commit to something, not after.
Kevin Berger: They are very knowledgeable and helpful.
Eric Johnson: I noticed problems with my shifting and was in South Bend from out of state for a race the next morning. I called and asked if they could look at it right away. They said yes, and an hour later when I arrived they immediately attended to my bike and fixed the problem. Crisis averted and and I had a great race the next day! Thank you!

O'Brien Fitness Center: what do users think?
Lynnette Markowicz: Classes and Cardio gym used. Staff are very friendly and happy to help.
Peggy Leonhard: Always love Ruby's Senior Aerobics class! She's a great instructor!
Chan the man: Decent gym, pretty clean, all u really need.
collin heritz: If I could give it zero stars I would
Kelly Waite: Fairly decent place to workout. Most of the equipment is older but still serviceable. Cardio machines are slightly more modern than the weight equipment and machines. They are missing a few key pieces of equipment that would take it up a notch (i.e. hop extension machine). One of the only places with a dry heat sauna and they've just remodeled including putting a new sauna in. One of my biggest complaints is that the showers get lukewarm at best despite management being told by me and others.
Steven Burnes: New Bathroom, locker room, and Sauna look great!
Josie Hernandez: We had a graduation party at the pavilion and it was very pleasant. Nice clean surroundings.
Patrick Cottrell: O'Brien Center is a really good basic gym. They have all the cardio equipment and free weights / machines needed to stay in great shape physically. The staff is friendly and do a good job keeping things clean. The prices are reasonable as well.
Norman Milcherska: Very nice environment very clean with up to date equipment
Renea Parker: I love it. The kids was happy too.
Paul McKillip: I used to love this place, especially the fact that I didn't have reoccurring charges and could pay when I could or had to but now, since the ymca unfortunately came into play, that changed. Now the prices are higher and they HAVE to have you on reoccurring payments which I called to try to talk to someone about, got told I would be given a call and haven't heard from them since This place used to be great but now I will no longer return and don't wish to go to any ymca affiliated establishment.
Destiny Denney: Amazing place. They are updating alot too.
Sheryl Gumz: Its a really nice gym, there doing a lot of remodeling to expanded the facilities they offer all sorts of different classes, even if its raining come on in and walk a few laps just to unwind and clear your head. Check them out everyone is friendly.
Frances Cenkush: Great place to workout.
Jane Martindale: We like this place
7easton7: Friendly staff...clean facility.
Andy Grontkowski: Work related... Review of drawings for renovation work.
Diana Phipps: It is just what this area needs.
Marcia Vargo: Friendly staff & equipment readily available with no waiting.
804 Productions: Fun for all ages
Carlos Coleman: Nice

Spin Zone Cycling Outfitters: what do users think?
John Gavin: I called and talked with Mike the owner about buying a bike. He said he would call me back. Never heard back from him.I took my $10,000 to another shop!!
Jon L.: Excellent and fast service on a flat repair
Jack Hengert: First time in the shop. William fixed my flat tire quickly and was a great help with local ride information. I'm new to the area and happily have found my go to bike shop.
Jeff Pazder: It is always a pleasure doing business with Spin Zone. They recently serviced my bike. They had to order a part for me from California. They installed the part the day it was received and called me the same day to let me know it was complete. They have always been able to answer any questions I have and take the time to show me the features of accessories I have installed on my bike. They are great!
dhanichak: I have been a Spin Zone customer for the past 14 years. Our family owns multiple bikes and they have kept them safely operating for all that time.If you purchase your bike at Spin Zone they will make sure it is all tuned upat no cost to you as a customer ( if parts are needed those are extra) for life. It is amazing program which we appreciate.I have a triathlon bike and they always advocate I bring it in before races so they can look it over to make sure it is ready to go. This is so reassuring after months of training. If anyone is looking for any type of bike they should be visiting with Mike and his team at Spin Zone.
Jamie Shea: Mike, the owner, did my build on a custom frame from Italy. He is very knowledgeable and attentive. Also, helped me with competitive pricing for my gruppo, handle bars, carbon wheels etc.
Patrick OMalley: These guys are great. Everyone here is always so helpful and knowledgeable about all things cycling. Mike can fix any bike problem I bring him, and Gavin helped steer me towards the right tires for the type of riding I do. It’s obvious that everyone in the store is passionate about cycling.
Kerry Singleton: What a great experience buying my first electric bike!!.
Joe Barrett: I do bicycle touring (have biked with my wife unsupported coast to coast). and I called several good bike shops in St Joseph, Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, Michigan. However this bike shop was the only one that stocked the item I needed. It was the easy release crankbrothers bike cleats for mountain bike shoes. The others had just the standard release which takes much more force and twist to release from the peddle. The standard release could cause a fall trying to get it to release. Most people should likely be using the easy release unless you are a pro racer maybe. Stocking this easy release cleat demonstrates how much they understand and care about your biking experience.
Chris Galbreath: Great Staff!!!
David Schwenk: I brought my bike in for a repair and was waited on immediately. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I was able to pick my bike up the next business day and the cost of repairs were very reasonable. Thanks
David Bishop: Always fast and great quality service
Ty Bauters: Best E Bike shop in town. 🚲
Juan Lopez: Me gusta comprar con ustedes por su atención y variedad de productos !
Fr. Bill Schooler: Spin Zone did a fantastic job of getting my bicycle ready for the summer season. The employees are fantastic.Fr. Bill Schooler
Tyrah Taylor: This is a great place for any difficulties with electric scooters. They offered great and friendly service! Highly recommend!
Kyle Moore: Staff is helpful and made it easy to get my bike fixed.
Kevin Schermerhorn: Take you bike to them and you will be back riding in no time.
Sue Williams: Bought my Cannondale Gravel bike here spring 2022. Never had bike shop spend so much time perfecting the bike to fit me. Had tune up done today. Very reasonable, very friendly. Wish I had started coming here 10 years ago.
Ashton Mooth: really nice people, great help and done in a timely manner. 10/10. will continue to go there
Blake Roeber: Very pleased. Extremely quick service, everything was done to a tee, and the mechanics did a great job communicating with me from drop-off to pick-up.

The Salvation Army Kroc Center, South Bend: what do users think?
Amy FREESE: We went to go to the pool. Some of the staff were great. Other staff were rude and not helpful at all. First time there. Not sure we will go back.
Elizabeth Hochschild: Kid friendly, lots of classes, affordable. Love this place.
David Dirst: A family friendly atmosphere with modern equipment and friendly staff.
John Palmer: Beautiful facility with helpful and pleasant staff.
Rick Biancardi: They need your help
Lynne Barnaby: Great facility, excellent programs!
Tyree Kirkland: Have the exercise classes that fit my needs.
Mari Roomer: This is a decent place to work out swim. staff is awesome . Only issue is weight room floor hasn’t been swept or mopped in a month! Very nasty! I’ve told several workers about it. They f do not seem to care. Not sanitzed very good at all. The bald guy sits all day and does nothing. Who’s the manager of the fitness area? He or she doesn’t do anything to help sanitize and keep this area safe from illness
vanacel lehenbauer: Great place to take kids to swim
Kortney M: I have had a membership at the Kroc since they first built the building. I never once regretted it. It's a part of the family routine as well as my own personal routine. There's a water park area, a climbing wall, arts programs, music programs, theater, after school and homeschool programs. It's truly a community center which is exactly what South Bend needed. They offer scholarships for families who qualify. They also offer free daycare with your membership while you're at the Kroc. If you are not a member you can buy a pass for $15 to try it out.
paulin hakizimana: Only Facts (for the price you pay):Cons:1. Limited hours. (Especially weekends, and winter hours)2. Limited Availability of the Gymnasium. (in wintertime, the basketball courts are fully booked for activities. When you ask, they tell you, they are a "community" center...therefore... (in my words) paying members don't mean jack when someone comes and pay a premium buck to reserve the court all day.3. their child-care (kids' zone has its issues)Pros:workout machines are plenty and in a good shape, pool is clean, and their locker room have been fixed.
Kristyna Wickline: Had an awesome night with the Embrace Woman's group! They also have great swim and dance classes for the kids! My kids also loved the Tball/baseball teams.
Jas B.: Very nice and family friendly place!
Karen Haun: Love the workout classes. Employees are friendly & helpful.
Carol Leedy: Quality well maintained equipment. Clean environment. Good membership prices!
Danis Corcho Ruiz: Un hermoso lugar para disfrutar en familia, Excelente atención y muy variado sus servicios.
Gregg Schimmel: 1000% better than the YMCA was
Nicholas Hart: So much fun! And so much to do. It is a little exspensive but was worth the experiance
Alison Mynsberge: They no longer provide towels. They have very limited hours. Attendance seems to be way down and day passes are very expensive. The locker room situation isn’t family-friendly or accommodating for both members and camp participants simultaneously. But having returned after COVID, I was finally able to get a treadmill, and after asking they finally turned the slide on hours after it was supposed to be, which meant my son & nephew had an hour of pure joy as they went up those stairs over and over again as the pool was empty of any other slide users (while I drove home to get towels).
Marc Johnson: Excellent place for recreation, health and fitness, and spiritual worship of God. I highly recommend going there... you won't be disappointed!
Marilyn Imus: Nice, safe location with friendly people to help you. Dropped off some toys for toddlers. Would like to go back to see what services are available and if I might be interested in volunteering.

Inner Strength and Performance: what do users think?
Rodney Rouch: World class !! My son and I love ISP!!
C. Cramer: When I first walked into Inner Strength & Performance, I was scared of trying something new but Coach Mitch & all the members made me feel welcome. I had told Mitch when I went to check out the gym that I hated cardio, but doing the workouts that he programs doesn't make me even think about that. In the time I have been a member, I have not only grown stronger physically but I learned alot about myself. It's not like any gym I have ever been a part of. I have learned about gut health, nutrition and how to properly breathe during excercises. I recently started doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for self-defense and the training that I have gotten from Inner Strength, have with no doubt, helped me in Jiu-Jitsu and in life in general. I truly feel part of a family and have meet so many great people.
Jennifer Fellmy: The best gym in the area! Having been in SB for about 8 years now, I've had a handful of gym memberships and this is by far the best one I've been to.Everyone is so welcoming and supportive. Coach Mitch is incredibly knowledgeable. The classes are challenging and a perfect balance of strength and conditioning.I've only been here a few months, but I've already improved my weight in all my lifts.
Dylan McTigue: Very professional and enthusiastic. You can tell they know what they’re doing. I have overcome many fitness obstacles thanks to their passion and knowledge.
Paige Starnes: This gym has a great atmosphere and welcoming members. Mitch and Stefanie are very knowledgeable. The classes always push you, but you feel great afterwards. If you're interested you should definitely try a class or two to test it out.

They just opened and offer group fitness strength training, one-on-one programming, and a full range of gym equipment for individual workouts. So excited to have Inner Strength and Performance in this area! Mitchell and Stephanie are so kind, love to serve and I am so excited they made their dream a reality.

Dan H.: This owner was fair and honest. Will return again!!
Brenda Richter: Love to support small local businesses. Great service 👏
Douglas Anderson: Very helpful staff
Bill Entenmann: I live on Long Island. My son is a student athlete at Notre Dame. I called John and explained that my son had a problem with his Swagtron Swagger 5E electric scooter. John said that he would take a look at it and determine if he could fix it. He gave me both his store and personal cell numbers and asked that my son call him directly. My son spoke with John. John met my son on the ND campus, picked up the scooter and brought it back to his shop. John was able to make the repair to a loose fender and met my son the next morning on the ND campus for a drop off. Simply put: Outstanding service, great repair and at a very reasonable price. John and the Avenue Bicycle Station are tops in my book. Thank you John!

Albright's Cycling & Fitness: what do users think?
Chris H: Was planning on buying a bike. Went inside and was the only person in the store with 3 people working. It tooks 5 minutes for somebody to offer to help me or ask if I had any questions, which I did. I had been here multiple times in the past couple months narrowing down which bike I wanted to buy, and had every intention of buying a Giant bike from this store. The sales guy eventually went into a back room and was whispering to his associate about selling me a bike, and eventually made a pitch at selling me a bike that was on the floor, that was specifically not the size I was going for, but attempted to pursuade me that it was the right size for me. It was all very shady and unappreciated. I bought a bike from the Trek store instead and the sales guy there was very helpful.
Ron Wingeart: Best Bikes, Service andDefinitely the Prices. I'm new in town and lucked up on referrals to this Gem.
R Greg Payne: I’ve had several great experiences at this local shop. Bought a Giant Escape for my son and a Giant StanceE for myself in the past few years. Had a warranty issue with a tire and they took care of it right away and provided me a brand new tire free of charge. They also tuned up my son’s Trek mountain bike and it shifts better than new. Whether it’s a new bike, water bottle, tubes, or whatever, this place is my first stop. I like that it’s family owned and operated. Highly recommended.
Nicholas Lowe: So, I just had a great experience at Albright's. I recently bought a bike (brand unknown) to trek to/from work -- it's 8.3 miles one-way. This morning, I'm a mile from my destination and my chain begins slipping in/out of gear; the culprit: loose cassette. I do not have any other transportation available to get me to/from work -- I'm panicked. I can't afford to take a Lyft or Uber more than a day or two. So, I'm playing with it at work with some tools and I can't figure out why it's loose. Later this morning, I begin calling around to local bike shops and I'm explaining the problem as best I can and everyone was nice but they kept telling me a week or more to get any fixes done. UGH! I call Albright's and they tell me, right now, a couple days to a week, depending on the issue. Well, they're the closest to where I live, so it makes sense to go there. That, and considering their the shortest turnaround time. So, after work, I take the city bus to Albright's and I walk in to a friendly gentlemen named Drew. Two seconds later, I'm met my his friendly Labradoodle. He stopped, whatever it was he was doing, to immediately take a look at my bike. So, he just dives right in as I explain all the things I tried to do to fix it. I don't have much of a disposable income. So, the whole time, I'm wondering what's wrong and how much. Well, as I'm releasing my anxiety through mutual adoration of his fine dog, he's continues working on my bike. (I actually made it worse tweaking with it at work). For 10 or 15 minutes, he's plugging away and I take a spin around the store to look at their inventory. They're well stocked for whatever you need, btw. I head back and he's done and the bike is fixed. It didn't need actual parts but it did need some TLC. (This bike was bought off craigslist last week, so I don't know what all it needed or how old it was, etc. I just knew it looked good and it rode well in a circle, when I bought it) I can't even begin to tell you the relief I felt when I knew I had my ride to work tomorrow. Then, I ask him the big question; "what's the damage"? He tells me 'it's all good'. I was dumbfounded and overwhelmed with gratitude. I have $60.00 to my name until payday, tomorrow. I was thinking, the whole time, if I don't have enough to cover repairs, I'll have to leave the bike and come back later this week. Well, Drew, thank you. Your expertise and professionalism are far above and well beyond what I expected or have even experienced in any other customer experience I've had in a very, very long time. You have a customer for life!
Mark Pajor: Great shop. They’ve helped me with a lot of things over the past two years, and today they very quickly took care of my flat tire so I could get back to the Urban Adventure Games.
Anonymous Sources: Good people, good place to buy or service a bike. This place has been around a long time for good reason. Just had the shifters replaced on my grandson's bike, works great.
Luke Troyer: My wife and I recently purchased two Electra Townies from Albright’s and had a fantastic experience. They listened and were knowledgeable on each of our questions. They shared everything we needed to know to be safe and have a great experience riding our bikes. They offered a wide selection and were friendly- all the qualities you would expect from a business that has been in operation for 108 years.
Jochen Rindt: Twice in the past I have had my bikes serviced at this shop and was satisfied with the results. Recently I took my bike in to have a clicking noise from the crank fixed and to have a rear derailleur cable replaced. When I picked up my bike, they had replaced the rear brake cable- NOT the rear derailleur cable that was clearly frayed and which I had shown the mechanic. After riding the bike, I noticed the clicking noise was still there. The bill was $99, of which $4 was parts (brake cable). So I was charged $95 in labor to replace something I did not ask them to replace, while none of the things I DID ask them to do were done. Albright's is a lousy shop-- dishonest and completely indifferent to their customers. Do yourself a favor and do not give them your business.THIS SHOP DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS !!!
Dan Hertel: I bought a new Townie 7D made by Electra, back in April, this is the best bike I have owned. I am in my late 60's and just want to be able to ride 25-50 miles at a time and don't want a racing bike. This bike lets me sit up straighter and not get a back ache. With the 7 gears I can easily ride up a fairly steep hills without much trouble, and in 7th gear I can maintain 12-15 MPH on a flat road. I am tall and this bike is big enough without being unstable. After riding it for a few months I took it back for a 30 day tune up. They adjust the brakes, the shifting, and the handle bars. It shifts so smooth now, the brakes are really quiet and stop on a dime. I dropped the bike off at lunch time and got at call at 5 the bike was ready, wow. This is a great store, very friendly and honest. I have done business with them since I was a kid back in the 60's and I still buy bikes there for me and a few grand kids. Great family owned business.
James Griffitth: Have a lot of knowledge, willing to help. Good prices.Well established shop, 100 + yrs. Jim real customer.
Jacqueline Skwiercz: Great service. Got my son the bike he really wanted.
Jordan Muck: Not a good experience. I went in to ask a few questions about tires for my road bike. Associates that were there stared at me the second I walked in the door without even saying hello. I could tell whatever they were doing was more important than my presence. Store was filthy, items were overpriced, and people were rude. Would not return or recommend.
Anthony Riddle: Nice people
Jesse W.: Took my bike in as the wheels needed truing. They charged me to do the work, just never did the work. I asked if they took the wheels off to do it, they said they did. I have a small "tie" for the brake cable to stay close to the derailer as my rear tire setup is custom. I noticed this wasn't removed and called them out on it. He said he didn't need to remove it. You do..... I did the rear setup and have taken the rear wheel off several times. You absolutely have to remove it to get the derailer off. It's an internal hub and custom derailer.
Makalah Henderson: Everyone there was so friendly and I got a great bike
Jennifer Henderson: Amazing place!! Amazing service!!
Dana Rassas: Grateful for their service. It was a long wait to get my bike serviced but I understand the pressure they are going through. Thank you for making my bike run beautifully.
Keith Hodgson: Exceptional, fast, and friendly service. Highly recommended!!
G Kame: Approximately several weeks ago, I took a bike that I purchased from them about 16 years ago, into their shop to get a new chain and cassette put on and was told it would take about half a week. Went in today to check on it and to see if I could get some upgrades made to it only to find out that one of the brake cables was now snapped. I asked the mechanic if it was worth fixing or upgrading and he stated "It was time to buy a new bike." I took the bike to another bike shop East of town and they wrote me up an estimate to repair, upgrade and service it and said it would be done in a week. I've been a pretty good customer of Albright's over the years, including 5 new bike purchases, so I think the mechanic could have at least called me about why it wasn't finished and explained to me how the brake cable broke.
Cory Gehring: They were very professional. The bike looks really good and the tune up will add another few years to the bike. Highly recommend.
Mr Mike: Quick, fast & friendly!

Abbie Suiter: The South Bend Bike Garage is a special place. The mission of the company is purely to help and teach people and that is clearly seen through the hard work of so many volunteers. Especially through the volunteers who are there every week making sure bikes are properly working and people are getting the help and healthy transportation they need. I love that they try to teach you how to fix your bike, what to look out for, all without ever making you feel silly. Jim explained everything carefully and was extremely helpful. Wonderful place and fantastic people who are doing something really special in the community. If you have a bike and need it fixed, or even tuned-up, definitely take it to the bike garage!
