Not the way to treat your customers during a pandemic. There's a Walgreens across the street -- take your business there.
John Crowley: Staff is very friendly and helpful. The pharmacy especially is when I call to order meds. The time it is available is typically right on with no major waiting and they offer youinstructions and answer all your questions.Great place with friendly faces. Love it!!

Hosptial called in my prescriptions twice and cvs said they never recieved them, even the hosptial checked the computer and said that they went through and was recieved. The pharmacy staff is rude and doesn't have a clue what they are doing. This place is a joke! Thank goodness Walgreens is across the street!

B Bitch: Do not fill your prescriptions here. They close the pharmacy whenever they feel like it and if your script is a narcotic they cannot transfer it electronically causing the patient to suffer withdrawal symptoms until they either reopen or the doctor office is open to resend script.
Shiloh M: employees are rude. i asked for help finding masks and was told they were “in the back corner” of the store… i asked where exactly and she pointed in a vague direction. didn’t give an aisle number or any details of the products or sections of the store that might be near them. after wandering for a few minutes i found them near the front of the store. when i reached the counter, she very judgementally asked “where are you going that you need to be wearing these anyway?” as if that’s anybody’s business but my own. all i know is if i showed my customers that much disrespect, i wouldn’t have a job.

My daughter has food poisoning and I wanted to get the items to relieve her discomfort quickly. The order was filled before I could even get my shoes on. Mindy Welker: Pharmacy now closes for "lunch" at 1:30pm because they don't staff enough pharmacists. Can't pick up or even drop off prescriptions during this time. Employees/pharmacy staff are rude and snarky when you ask about it. It's not a clean store either. Ive been a loyal walgreens customer for many years and in a few short months of going to THIS walgreens, I will never go back in another one. Transferring all of our many monthly prescriptions elsewhere.

Michele Woody: Was a long time CVS customer and when they stopped being 24 hour, that was enough for me to pull the plug. EVERY time I went thru the CVS drive thru line there was a line of cars. And it simply took forever to get a rx filled. Meanwhile, across the street at Walgreens, there is hardly ever a line, and if there is, it moves along quickly. I also noticed that some of my maintenance rx are free at Walgreen's, not the case across the street. One of my rx is over a$1,000 (before insurance) a pop and the way it is written/dispensed, I could very well be paying that 2x a month but they worked with me to insure that I only have to pay it once. Every employee I have encountered, whether it be in the pharmacy or out on the floor has been friendly, kind & helpful.
Brian Sullivan: The pharmacy is not open 24 hrs. And you can't even get some of the over the counter stuff because they keep it in the pharmacy. They just give you blank stares when you need Advil cold and flu.

p payeur: I'm newer to the state of Indiana, and I have always chosen Walgreens for all my Rx needs, so being new to Mishawaka, it made sense to choose this location as it's closest to my home.From DAY 1, I have ALWAYS been treated with so much kindness! I felt "cared for" EVERY time I went there. If you have ever moved out of state and must take several Rx's, then you may know how much of a pain it is to find a new PCP and find a pharmacy that works for you. I'm disabled, so I, unfortunately, have to take numerous Rxs due to my multiple health issues. I feel lucky that I found this store because it can be a tedious process needing, one that works for "you." I've lived here now for one year, and I couldn't be happier with the pharmacy I have chosen! Now, when I go to pick up my meds, they know who I am immediately and don't have to ask for my name, which I think is fantastic as I feel assured my needs are all being met, as they are familiar with me. I usually visit the drive-thru early morning or mid-day, and the pharmacy technician is always very friendly and helpful. Thanks so much, Walgreens!

Robert Van: What a joke. The store is still what it used to be but the pharmacy has went down hill since covid and has never recovered. Been there several times in the past year and have never left any earlier then 45 minutes standing in line. Had an appointment for shots today and stood in line for 50 minutes. Then suposed to fill out paperwork and would have wait another up to 60 minutes according to pharmacist staff. It seemed like they had 5 people on staff and only one working on in store customers. The rest was counting pills and working on the drive through while the line was going through the entire store almost up to the entrance of the store. My suggestion would be dont go unless you have a couple hours to spare.

Karrah Herring: If I could provide zero stars I would. The techs are rude and don’t seem very competent. Avoid this pharmacy if at all possible. I have had two atrocious experiences here. That’s it for me.
Ohno Melon: So my prescription was out of stock when I called on a Saturday, which any pharmacy is facing those issues. However, at 9:06am I called and said I would just pay outve pocket for the name brand and they said they get it in. Come around to 1pm, still haven’t heard anything so I just called to see, and they said it’s busy and just give them a bit more time. Then at 7pm I went in person, and they tell me it was never even put into the system, and that it should be ready in 20 minutes. So I wait in the parking lot to check at 7:50pm, just to be told they’re about to close, still working on it, and it would most likely be tomorrow morning. This has to be the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had with a pharmacy which was continually compounded by one thing after another.

Sarah Bolinger: What is the point of a pharmacy, if the scripts are going to be out of stock? It’s me and 5 other members of my household that use meijer pharmacy, but lately literally all our scripts are out of stock. Doctor sent me in a script for an inhaler and they were out of stock. Don’t they think that those are important?! If they are out of stock, they should order more right away, not wait til a new script comes in! This is absolutely ridiculous! I know there is shortages n stuff, but come on! Yesterday my son needed a new med to help him sleep, they said out of stock, if your doctor sent in a script for your son to help sleep bcuz you’re not getting any sleep, wouldn’t you be upset too? I’m running on very little sleep. I did call n they did give me 2 pills, but that’s not the point. The point is, if a script becomes out of stock, order it before a new script from a doctor comes in. Now my sons doctor called in 2 scripts today, one for iron and one for vitamin d, and those are out of stock too! What is going on?!
Rex Rose: This review is written by Jean Rose --- This pharmacy has the WORST customer service of any pharmacy I have ever used. I was informed that my RX would be ready by 9:30am- When I arrived I was told there was additional information needed from the Doctor--I made the call to get that resolved--when notified by the Doctor's office, I asked the Pharmacy Tech to expedite the RX as I was sick and waiting in the parking lot and to far away from home to return. I was told, "No, you will have to wait your turn." I observed exactly 2 cars enter the drive up area while I waited another 90 minutes for my RX. Then the Tech placed the package in the slide out drawer so I could not reach it and I had to ask her to reposition it so it could be retrieved. I will NEVER use a Meijer Pharmacy again.This Pharmacy should receive NO stars, but unable to post without assigning at least one star. I will report this to my Insurance carrier.

Xu Zu: -Always seems to lose one of my prescriptions saying it wasn’t called in.-lied saying my prescription would be ready that day and it would be worked on next. They had 6 hours to fill it before I called to check on it. They didn’t get it ready until the next day.- long wait in line- sometimes nobody to work drive thru and force you to go inside (walking in broken leg at the time)

"They looked at the wrong prescription".... This was the actual pharmacist! Every time I get something filled there there is an issue. EVERY TIME!

They would claim to have not received my prescription for hours, after my physician's office had electronically sent it and they would have received it immediately. I switched pharmacies and no longer have these issues.
Kelly Nightingale: Have been working with Meijer Pharmacy, Portage Rd., South Bend, IN. I have had a great customer service experience. Prescriptions were sent in from urgent care. I contacted the pharmacy to see if meds were ready. Turns out they only had the antibiotic on hand and the other med would not arrive until 4:00 PM the next day. Today, I called about the med at is ready at the expected time. I made 3 phone calls to the pharmacy and was treated kindly during every call. I know pharmacies are very chaotic places to work at times. I am sure that is true for this pharmacy given all the viruses, flu that are going on in our area. I am very impressed that every person I spoke with provided excellent customer service. The notification system doesn't seem to be working for me even after the tech. reset it yesterday. That is very minor in the scheme of things.
Amy Houghtaling: It would have been much easier to get prescriptions and shop at the same location but I am done with this pharmacy. They charged me triple the amount they should have on one prescription and shorted me pills on another. I am having to pay out of pocket for medication because I ran out before insurance would cover it again since Meijer did not give me the full amount. Now when I’ve come to pick up the meds I’m paying for out of pocket they don’t have them ready and don’t know what I’m talking about. They were supposed to be ready two days ago.I’ve probably only used this pharmacy 7-8 times but already had one bad experience after another.

Tara Richardson: The tech at Portage Rd Meijer IN store at the pharmacy who took our prescription was not very helpful when we asked her to try to get us a price quote before taking the prescription to fill, and she was not very friendly or helpful in general. We were told to call back later to get the price, and when I called back I was put on hold for about 8 minutes. I hung up and called back and was finally able to talk to someone...the same person who we dealt with in person earlier, and she still hadn't put the order through because they were busy. Discovered that they hadn't ordered the medicine before their order cut off time which meant we had to wait an extra day to get the medication. I understand being busy, but they aren't taking good care of the customer if they can't handle people with helpful and friendly service and handle each order with urgency. It was a very frustrating experience to not be handled with urgency and efficiency in person or on the phone. Dealing with a health matter is stressful enough without poor customer experience on top of that.Expect to be put on hold and wait a usual 8 or more minutes. Once we waited about 30 minutes, before calling back and finally talking to someone. Too busy to care.

John Monroe: I don't know if the good reviews are by peope who have never had really good service or if their expectations are so low. First I had to learn of their closed hours so pharmacist can have a lunch (I guess other pharmacies know how to cover each other). Then my husband went to pick up my meds to be told they didn't have it. When he returned I called and was told it was on hold so they could tell me the insurance won't cover it (I was told one computer is not connected to the other one on the other end of the counter therefore they were unaware if it.). I was at the Dr's yesterday and the nurse left message for a script. Husband went to pick it up and was told they did not have it. Called Dr's office and nurse left mess again in morning. Called to see if it was ready and was told they didn't have it but when I told them it was left as a mess technician put me on hold and talked to pharmacist. Low and behold they will fill it but it will take an hour. Now it's the following day and almost 3pm that I have been without meds!!! 😕

Allen A: Cvs is fine. Just like any other small store. Most complaints are the customers unrealistic views on how they'd like to be serviced. Employees are hard to keep, wages are up, staff is less, get used to it. Generally happy people don't seek out venting. Get a life.Kurt Arkangel, so what was your question? To go on a rant like that & not post what your big question was, seems pretty sketchy. I'd think you'd want that out there! What could you not figure out on your own?

Mai Regan: The pharmacist here is extremely rude, I’m a healthcare provider myself and do not speak to patients in a rude manner, they also said my RX won’t be ready till the afternoon, she also couldnt give me a price on the medication (unheard of I think its pure laziness) called Walgreens and they said they could have it ready within the hour gave me a price and the pharmacist there was much friendlier over the phone.

Jennifer Beyer: 9/3/22 Updated per recent visit. There is definitely better customer service while picking up prescriptions in the drive-thru. I hope this positive change stays with them.I will say that I have never had any problems with the pharmacy until today, but this upset me so much that I feel obligated to let others know of the unprofessionalism. I went through the drive-thru to pick up two prescriptions. I noticed the car in front of me was having a lot of problems, but didn't think much of it at the time. When I drove up there were two young ladies there, I rolled down my window and neither said a word to greet me. I said hello and that I was picking up prescriptions. The young girl who seemed as if she was training Jenna, was very impatient and unpolite. I figured she was having a bad day and left. When I got home and looked at them, I realized that the mg went from 5 mg to 100mg for a generic and wanted to ask the pharmacist if this was correct before I took them. So I called and explained that to the person on the phone and she said, " I have to put you on hold," I said, "sure, no problem." After holding for 11 minutes, she came back to my line, didn't say anything and hung up. When I called back I couldn't get through at all. So I decided to call the CVS in Granger. Complete OPPOSITE! Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I hope the manager, Lori, fixes this problem as soon as possible or you will lose many valuable customers.

Allyson Starrett: Just flat rude. If they make an error (which happens often) they are rude and snarky on the phone.They won’t fill medication for you that your doctor prescribes correctly. They will screw it up almost every time! If you are picking up certain prescriptions they will give you every other one but the one you need especially one that is an anti-seizure. You can call countless times to fix the error and they will be rude and still screw it up.
Jennifer S: I don’t know if this is a store issue or what. If you are trying to get a covid test here do not use the get directions button they send in the confirmation email. It did not take me to a cvs. Took me 15 min further than cvs and I missed my appointment. I called corporate to let them know and they said I should have typed it in myself, so I am not confident the issue will be fixed. By the time I realized that it did not take me to cvs it was too late to type it in myself and get there on time.

She not only was rude, but too stupid to read the prescription as it was written, including the additional refills available for an inhaler! I read through Andrea Krupa's mission (LinkedIn) "Building teams to deliver best in class results for our patients". Your team at Auten Road, South Bend, is not only missing this goal, they aren't even close! However, Kevin Reynolds, Store Manager, doesn't seem bothered by the Google reviews, nor was he bothered by the less than professional attitude of the tech. "Did you buy the prescription? " No, Kevin, prescriptions are filled. This wasn't the first time, but every effort for my parent will be made to assure it is the last! Quick, look outside, less then 3 miles, you'll notice you aren't the only choice!
Dr. Timothy W. Curtis Ph.D: Nasty isles, bathrooms and countertops. Shelves low on merchandise. Checkout personnel evidently don't like their job. Extremely high prices for refrigerated/frozen and shelf food items. Very dirty for a pharmacy.

Michelle Turner: I’m embarrassed using my real name.My daughter has been sick and we used Teladoc however our insurance doesn’t cover scripts from out of network doctors. I didn’t know that till I got there and the total was 250 and some odd dollars.I left in tears. I used a goodRX and still was a little too much but planned on using 4 different payment methods.I’m not sure who she is but she works for your company she covered my script for my child.I’ll never forget that. I cried right there and cried all the way to my car and home.Thank you, thank you so much.You didn’t have to do that for me but you did and I’ll never forget it.Thank you everyone at this location for being kind while I rummaged through my bag for changes and cards.

Jenna Frezza: I have been living with asthma since I was born and I have never grown out of it. I rely on the Advair discus to control my asthma while also having a emergency in cases where it still acts up. I used to have no issues with Walmart pharmacy. I had a refill left and requested it because the inhaler itself only holds about 60 puffs with the requirement I take a puff every morning and night. I ran out of mine before the month was up and requested my refill and it was delayed for THREE WEEKS and is still delayed! I have had to rely on my rescue inhaler approximately 2-3 times a day since then and they did not call, or give me any update or reason as to why. I called them and they picked up, put me on hold, and then sent me back to the main end of their automated phone. I then requested to speak with someone through their options, was put on hold again, and it seemed as if they could not be bothered with my prescription. She informed me my insurance would not pay for it until a specific date, but I have had them push my prescription through before because I needed it and when I asked that, she then got very short with me over the phone and did not offer any help. I personally think someone who works within this department should be more compassionate for individuals health since they are the fore-front of distributing medication to people who need it for their disease, disability, etc. This person was not at all, and I will be taking my prescriptions else where.

Katie Muston: My husband and I stopped by shortly after ten pm and needed to get a watch from the jewelry. After waiting 15 mins for an employee we were able to flag down one and asked for them to help us with getting the watch. The employee was unable to unlock the case and went to find a manager to help us. He came back and informed us that the manager in question said that she would be there in a "minute" and he relayed the message that she said that the jewelry counter closed at ten. He also let us know that he asked her if she was able to help us but she had walked away from him without answering. When the manager did get to the counter she informed us that they closed down the drawer at ten and she could not open any cases. I am afraid that this was a perfect example of poor customer service. I have gone to the jewelry counter before at other locations and they were happy to help me by walking the merchandise to another register. I am afraid to say that Walmart you should have these things posted at the counter so there is no confusion. My husband and I were so upset with the customer service that we walked out without getting other merchandise that we were going to buy. I am sorry Walmart you just lost loyal customers.

Paul Fox: Three of three medication interruptions I have suffered have been directly related to this pharmacy. The only three interruptions to my treatment in the entire history of my treatment. If you’re not literally on top of them to remind them to do their job, and to remind them they OFFER delivery, you’ll be forgotten. CVS has better service. By a lot.My question is, are they trying to kill me via allergic reaction or are they trying to create a medication resistant strain?
