Midwest Kosher & Deli: what do users think?
naomi T: Great specialty grocery selection.
Timothy Hockemeyer: Best deli in town, bar none.
Rwings73: Nice selection of kosher foods, getting a sandwich on the way out, pastrami!
Yossi Schechter: As someone who keeps KOSHER, I have been ecstatic of Midwest Kosher and Deli for many years now. I love the service, the variety of Kosher goods and ofcourse the fresh deli options.
Sherry Scott: It's Kosher so how can it be wrong! Reuben Sandwich yummy 😋
Jeff Selby: Very interesting, super friendly and helpful! A must visit!!
Tom H: Not really a deli, more of a small grocery store. The only sandwiches they had were some sad pre-made ones under plastic. I wish they would update their website to make it clear what this place actually is so people wouldn't waste their time expecting an actual deli.
David Hershberg:
Khy: Went here thinking it was a deli. Nope, just overly expensive grocery store.
Mike: Stopped here a couple years ago. Came to the conclusion that the nearest authentic Jewish Deli is back in Chicago. All the delis in the South Suburbs closed down, way before the pandemic.
Suzanne Dornquast: The young lady working the deli counter was closing down but was kind enough to make me an excellent wrap for my dinner.
Eliezer Mayteles: Best kosher food
Joshua Troppe: Stopped by on a road trip. Place was recommended by a friend seems to be the only kosher in town. Nice little store with a tiny Deli. Had a amazing pastrami sandwich it was Romanian pastrami.Originally I had a much longer review complaining about a negative experience that I had to with a counter staff there. Since the manager responded nicely, it's deleted now. I'm not looking for a refund, I hope you take seriously what I had said before and worked with your staff. You have a nice little place and I hope you have great success.
Emily McAndrew: Today was my first time trying Midwest Kosher Deli and it certainly won’t be my last! The MKD Hot Dog was hands down the best hot dog I’ve ever had. Grilled to perfection, well constructed, and topped with a mouth-watering combo of kraut and onions...you can tell their food is made with care and I already can’t wait to go back!
Aiden playz: I want to Sweet Frog and got the best frozen yogurt ever
Daniel Gutkind: Amazing food at great prices
Jonah Sobel: Fantastic!!!!!
Don Sawyer: Great location and kosher food, Wine & Deli. Fantastic to have a kosher Oasis near South Bend and Elkhart. Just ate the double burger with spicy mayonnaise. The meat was Char-Broil perfectly and juicy. Burger was so thick you really needed a knife and fork to eat it.
Darin Roodman: Delicious food, great little kosher food store too
Robb Kauffman: Best Pastrami in the area BY FAR!
Gretchen Shapiro: Good food and it's kosher!

Jaworski's Market: what do users think?
Tyrone James: Great selection and great prices.
Alex K: Great meat market and deli. Excellent hot food bar.
Joanna Rakoski: Not impressed. Not many polish products at all. Smoked sausage said to be “fresh” but all packaged and weeks old. Overall very expensive. Items out of date. I tried to contact before going to see if they had certain items - called multiple times and left a message with no answer and no call back.
Shawn Park: Best choice in town , can't leave without the Jerry it's a sin
Jordan Gatzka: What can you say but it's an amazing place!
daniel bishop: Excellent meats
Susan Daugherty: Overall top notch!!We purchased two hot case meals on Saturday which this month its Smokehouse Meats. We got 1 pound of meat several to choose from, 1 side several choices and 1 speciality soda good amount of choices for $11.99We ordered the ribs, deviled egg potatoes salad and a Jones Cream Soda.Smoked Chicken half, mustard potatoes salad and Hank's brand orange cream soda. It was all so delicious!Service was excellent and we will return soon! Our dog loved the bone we purchased for her!!
Tammy: The moment you walk in the door you are greeted by smiling faces and the smell of smoked meats. Everything is fresh in there at the deli counter and me counter they are very accommodating.
Stacy Delgado: I have been back home for awhile now and i have done both take and bake and the hot bar. Everything is amazing!!!! Yummy!!!!
Theresa Collings: This is a great place. We go there to buy some meats, salads, jams and jelly. This last time we went we bought sausage and I’m very disappointed! So much fat in it. You can see big bits of fat chinch’s all mixed in it, it’s so bad this time I won’t eat it. I know everyone is trying to cut expenses these days I expected quality-the same I always got. .
denise feitz: I cannot get anyone to call me back for setting up a catering job?! I have left 2 messages and no one will return a phone still
Jon Sherk: Great meat market. Really nice selection of rubs/sauces/spices, best in the area by far. Polish dinner is a family staple, but their other daily hot meals are good as well. Stop in and check them out, it's worth the drive.
Deanna Avila: Always have a great experience
Brian Vargo: The Polish dinner is fantastic and worth the trip. The jerky is great as well, the problem is with the sausage...too salty and way too much white pepper.
Jackie Fanson: Delicious pulled pork sandwiches and potato salad! Looking forward to trying the Polish Dinner take out on Thursday!
Ryan B: Love this place! Great meat, their jerky and hunter sticks are amazing! (I suggest the hot garlic hunter sticks. Perfection!) They even have hot food you can buy thats very good and reasonably priced. Friendly staff, just an all around nice market. I'd give more stars if I could.
Kevin Chodzinski: Awesome meats & awesome cheese & awesome service!
Robert Hoff: Really good family market with good competitive prices. Wide selection of polish food.
Jody Lopez: Love this place! Old fashioned meat counter! Hot meals everyday! Different kinds of foods from different countries
Jennifer Toth: A great place to shop! Great food & service.
Melissa Saltzman: Love the variety of interesting meats available, especially all the special sausages. The take-n-bake offerings are pretty awesome too (the polish dinner is to die for, and the polish pot pies are absolutely delicious!), and I always have to pick up some of the special of the day from the deli while I'm there! The only knock is, I didn't like the paczkis they had. For the real deal, better to get those from Bakers Dozen down the street IMHO. I won't take any stars away for that though, as it might just be a matter of personal taste!

Trader Joe's: what do users think?
Jose Escobar: Me pareció genial este lugar, muy buenos precios y excelentes productos… además la atención de sus empleados es maravillosa.
Joe Carter (MostDefJoSeph): Nice enough. But selection is limited. And meat is expensive.
HillRat 4wd: Love the products and pricing. Very polite staff.
Tavara B: First time at this Trader Joe’s. I like the food selection. The staff was really nice and friendly. I plan on coming back.

Nancy Adams: Trader Joe's is my favorite store. Employees are always helpful.
Shea Houck: I thought it would be bigger but I was surprised at all the different food they had. Stuff you don't see in a normal grocery store. I can't wait to go back! Kinda pricey with most things but I knew that.
Alina White: Love Trader Joes around the country and so happy to see one in this location! Its a great location, smaller but well equipped. The standards of their staff translates well here too, everyone is super helpful, pleasant and well informed.
James Bradberry: It’s always assured that you will be welcomed and dealt with with a quick check out.I really like the product and people.James

M T: Always a good time
Nora Bates: Beautiful fresh food and fruit staff is very friendly and helpful. Flowers always on point. 🌺
Dann Vessell: All kinds of good foods and coffees
Jamie Amador: I haven't been to a Trader Joe's since I lived in Tucson so I'm really excited that we have one here in south bend. This has so many items that most stores do not have. I wouldn't say unique but definitely kitschy or out of the ordinary. Lots of organic items ala whole foods and pantry items that scream 'must try'. They are a bit pricey. I don't know if it's because of the location (very near the Notre Dame campus) or just because you get what you pay for, quality.
Dar State: WONDERFUL!!Great experience .Great products.Great prices.
J Edgington: Had a few products can get anywhere else, prices not bad.
Laurie Coffel: Nice store. Usually has the items I seek.

Purple Porch Food Co-op: what do users think?
Kay Londergan: Best blueberry scones
Glen Hawkins: Always have what i, my sister and my brother & wife want.
Mia Wagner: I consider myself a gummy bear aficionado and they have THE BEST gummy bears around! All natural gummy bears here are packed with wayyy more flavor than any gummy bears I’ve had! Also they have pawpaws (aka the Indiana banana) during the ripe season which is a rare and special find!
Mark Schurr: My goto place for healthy special items.
Rikki Taylor: Great fruits and vegetables
Elizabeth Dawson Drake: This is one of my favorite places to stop on my way home. I love the sense of community they build with their member-owners and shoppers.
Eli Cantu: My favorite neighborhood market!
Hana Parkhill: I love this store! I took my daughters for the first time and they loved it too!
Chrissy S Chrissy: They carry local foods and products. There's also pre-made foods like soups, salads, and breakfast. They have kambucha on tap. My photo is a poke bowl from PokeHale which is from a local pop up. Of you're vegan there's quite a bit of vegan products. I'm gluten-free and I find lots of GF bakery items here.
Johnny Navarro: Very nice festival today...
Joseph Borkowski: Love the atmosphere and the selections. I've been trying to find rye flour for months and they have it in and bag the amount you need. So many different flours I will have to come back and try some others.
amanda havens: We get the majority of our food here. Milk, veggies... Feels good to support our local businesses!
Pat Littlejohn: We love the organic foods, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Kerstin N.: Looooove this sweet little grocery store! Found some delicious vegan grab-and-go options for lunch and a variety of grocery items for our family’s dietary needs. Will absolutely stop here anytime I’m passing through south bend!
Leslie Capers: Treat your body right
Slaterson: Update 3/28/22: I made my annual visit and I still can’t believe how perfect this store is! The nicest employees and a template for what I hope my local coop will offer once it opens.Books, fair trade decor, blankets, the cutest Easter gift baskets, candles, the coziest sweatshirts, gluten-free vegan treats, the tastiest curried cashew hummus, kombucha offerings I’ve seen nowhere else, and gf & v hot soup. Okay, they also carry my favorite raw chocolate (Rawmio out of Illinois, not carried at ANY other health food store I’ve been to) and local moisturizers made by the Soapy Gnome and Sai Shakti.*Bernie 👀 has been relocated to the bathroom, causing me a mini heart palpitation when I forgot about him until I noticed him over my shoulder while washing my hands. 😳Oh my word! I stopped in on the way to my Airbnb and couldn’t have made a better decision! Bernie greeted me, beautiful fresh flowers and plants, lovely candles and coffee and vegan, gluten free, sugar free jam (which I’ve never seen for sale in all for my travels) and all the things I’d ever need to enjoy my little mini road trip for work. I’d stay in South Bend again anytime as long as I can visit the Purple Porch!
Maeve O'Brien: Very nice atmosphere and 100/10, was a little hot in there could have been Bernie Sanders tho
Ana N: One of my favorites in South Bend!
Caleb michalski: they’re soup is great, but the prices are pretty high. price for convenience i guess? maybe im just too broke for the bougie lifestyle
Drew Brown: Great food
Mare: The deli has a convenient variety of vegan-friendly quick bites and snacks like BLT wraps, grain bowls, cupcakes, and more as well as a large bulk dried goods selection of spices, teas, nuts, etc. The grocery department in general is relatively small but full of only the highest standard local, regional, and eco-conscious essentials.

Fresh Thyme Market: what do users think?
Cynthia Hunter: I was tired of Walmart I was tired of Kroger fresh thyme brought something wonderful and new I am so excited grateful and thankful for fresh time your dream come true your name says it all very very nice products and good just delicious thank you fresh thyme
Rebecca Ellenson: I love going to fresh thyme! It's a more intimate than the big business grocery store. I only but my produce there and never have a problem with how fresh it is. Nor have I ever had the problem with the one "bad" fruit in the bag.
Henry Schmidt: Great store for the freshest produce and some serious deals, shrimp 🍤 etc. .Pre-made items are also quite good 👍 !
Corey Armstrong Abuzain-Eddin: Great, friendly service!!
Rita Colburn: This store is ok, but Whole Foods Market is so much better, and has friendlier staff
Carolyn Rozmarynowski: Friendly staff, great selection of cheese, freshly baked bread, and a very good variety of health supplements. It's disappointing to see so many self check-outs, but it seems to be the way every store is going.
Karam Goraya: Very nice and good products .Little tricky some prices good some expensive.
Rick Harfert: Great place for organic and healthy foods
Chris Miller: I am so disappointed that you are incorporating digital coupons! You stand for clean, basics in life ! Not complicated things - guess I will move on to only Aldi & Costco etc….
Danielle Moskalenko: My husband and I found Fresh Thyme when we moved here this summer from Ca. We loved it! The prices and food selection are great. We love all the non-mainstream stuff because that is right up our alley. A few weeks ago the switched to self check out and since then shopping there has been a nightmare. The scanners don’t scan anything properly. The prices labeled in the store don’t ring up correctly. There is always some payment issue. You spend more time asking an employee for help for something that was supposed to streamline the shopping experience. What should take less time now takes more time and you still need employee help. Why not just have the cashier there??? Their cashiers were always pleasant and helpful. This has definitely decreased my inclination to shop at Fresh Thyme.
James Davis: We did 90% of our weekly shopping at this Fresh Thyme location. Their product quality is fantastic, I've never felt like anything was overpriced, and they don't enforce the unnecessary mask rule. Now that Martin's has been adding self-scans, we'll be doing 100% of our shopping at Fresh Thyme from now on.EDIT: Fresh Thyme has self scans now with only one cashier. We are ceasing all shopping there. Thanks Meijer.
patrice mclemore: Very clean and a nice place to go for healthy food instead of junk. Very friendly staff also.
Randy Knebel: Good prices and Quality meats and seafood
Diane Prentiss: Love their produce and Springer Farm chicken 🐔
Ruhma Ashraf: Fresh organic produce and lots of healthy options available. Their freshly squeezed orange juice and freshly ground peanut and almond butters are amazing and deserve a shoutout.
Anthony Moreno (Tony): I come here for the fresh produce.. never leave disappointed.
Myrrha: Had the best experience yesterday, our cashier Jade reminded me to clip coupons in the app and saved me some money before checking out. She was so sweet and friendly and DEFINITELY deserves a raise! Thanks Jade!!!
BlackBeltStatus: Awesome experience, and awesome products!
K R: I like the healthy valuesThe manager on duty, Alex, was not very friendly. Maybe he wasn't having a good day, but he walked right by me and didn't even acknowledge me. At check out, the casher called Alex over as he was walking by, he said I'm on lunch and kept walking. The prices are higher and I think it is going kn the opposite direction. The healthy themes and healthy values is a thing of the past for fresh thyme.
Drew Bruce: It was my 1st time and it was a pleasant one at that. The quality of food there very good. It is a tad pricey but then again everything is anymore now a days.
Sheere Fervida: Loved that they have fresh wraps and sandwiches to choose from. Large variety of nutritional foods.
