Howard Park Ice Skating: what do users think?
Eddie Bingham: Great food and very positive atmosphere!!!
Paul Doe: The rink is really fun but we go there every weekend and they seem to never have sharp blades. The skates are Really Dull and that can causes strain on the body witch leads to injury it’s harder to skate and more prone to a hard fall on the ice :( other wise it’s great but please sharpen your skates Howard Park we pay good money for the passes and we want sharper blades!! Pleases!!!
Jacob Fleming: Great place for family, friends and date nights.
Melissa Pietrzak-Rodino: Kids had a blast!
Andrew Rasmussen: The ice skating experience is great! Love the park and the rink/course. Most of the staff is very helpful and friendly, especially the younger team members who give out the skates. But if you need help with something from the receptionist desk and Priscilla is working, I recommend you just forget it and walk away. She was not only unwilling to listen to me or help me, she was incredibly rude and nasty towards me. If it weren’t for the other staff members stepping in to help me after my interaction with Priscilla, I can guarantee I would never be back to ice skate here again and would be telling others to avoid as well. Maybe she would do better in a position where she doesn’t have to interact with people. Outside of that, ice skating in Howard Park is a great time.
Erick Smith: Loved it! Skate down and up non-steep inclines with slight bends. We spent most of the time on the trail, but the ice pond looked good for skating in a circle. Food at the public house was awesome, and the coffee was delicious. Great atmosphere with the fire pits.
Jen Ray: I take my kids to skate, and they have fun when it's not crazy busy. When it's super busy, if you need a trainer, you better get out there quickly. I wish they had more food/snacks available, though.
Abe Krause: Great place to go for a family night or just with friends!!! Very fun place, staff we're friendly and the fire pits around the rink we're very nice.
Nicholas Hart: Such a fun experiance so glad my family got a season pass.
Brian Collier: This is not the ice-skating rink of your childhood! Instead, it is fantastic in every way, with all sorts of features, and all the upgrades you would imagine in the 21st-century. When I moved back to the region, I was delighted to find that the community had invested heavily in the parks department as well, as in the other city, owned and operated venues in town! This place is the ice-skating on the cake that is the park system in South Bend! So proud to have been born here, and so glad to have come back here! This is a must see for winter visitors and residents alike!
Just Jill: I don’t know who does the sharpening of the skates, but we tried out six different pairs of skates between the three of us and the left skate was sharpened on the wrong side on every single pair. I would suggest an experienced person sharpen the blades always.Other than that it is a beautiful location and the path is wonderful to skate on if you can skate, but our skates kept slipping out from 1 foot consistently, making it very difficult. We hope to try it again with our own skates next time.
Analia Diaz: Really pretty… lots of room for play and creativity with family would suggest going here! And I would love to go back!!
Kim Macerata: Nice rink, really pretty at night. The kids liked skating the ribbon. The hot chocolate was great, but pricey since it’s South Bend Chocolate Factory. Had a great time and will go again.
Jessica Spoor: Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff and overall a great experience for all ages!
Jamie Pike: We came here from out of state over the holidays and were blown away by this place! We brought family ranging from Grandpa and Grandma (who watched and played with the littles on the playground) down to age 9. The cost is unbeatable, it’s double where we’re from! The rink, playgrounds, bonfires, café, indoor viewing, restrooms, artwork—it’s all magic. We will be going back next year when we’re in town again! It’s also just beautiful at night with all the lights. Highly recommend.
Karsten Anderson: The atmosphere and scenery were amazing, with all the Christmas lights up. I think the ice skating could be a tad bit cheaper, but then again they have the nice little trail and kids carts to help them skate at no extra charge.I'll be back for sure.
Rickardo Yoder: Website not maintained. No information about having to have reservations and yet, reservations were required
Tammy Niezgodzki: Tuesday's is $5 to get in & includes skate rental...Great Deal! We Had a Great Time😊Thank You Howard Park for the Memories😉
Chloe Barker: Sessions for skating are for 90 minutes which was the perfect amount of time for my group of friends. We appreciated the little skating crutches for those of us who needed some help skating at first, and the railing along both sides is a huge plus! Also, love having the chocolate cafe hot chocolate available!!! There’s even a playground in the center (not on ice) for kids to play on all year round!I like to come here in the summer as well to practice roller skating. In the summer they have a splash pad which is so cool to have so much at one place that can be used all year round!
Landon Weldy: Horrible management, some of my friends got kicked off for “misusing” the assisted carts, and a staff member used foul language against me and my friends and started mocking us. Kept telling us to get off the ice when we did nothing wrong and was threatening to fight us. Just poor management, not impressed with how the situation was handled.
Skye Cuevas: Well it's a very good place to ice skate but I do have two reasons why I gave 4 star. That reason is that the ice skates that I rented are very hard and dig into your ankles when you skate and the second reason is that the concrete on the top that is right by where you hold on the side is very dangerous because I cut my finger and scratched up my hand it overall is a good place I just hope that you guys can take this as a notice to maybe put something over it because it hurt very badly and also maybe buy new skates.

The Ice Box Skating Rink: what do users think?
Nick: COLD!
Vanessa Bredehoft: My daughter is in an out of town tournament there. The rink does not have livebarn, the streaming service most other rinks use. They offer a stream service that is not listed on it's website (missed the first game entirely because I could not find the link). The only stream option is a monthly subscription - not at all ideal for families that have a kid in just a couple games. Can't get anyone to answer the phone. Just a poor experience specific to my perspective as the parent of a kid playing two games at this rink in an out of town tournament.
Thomas Panozzo: Old school ice rink. Not fancy. Functional. Love it. Recently updated a little. Still basic and fun. Good people.
MJ Ferguson: Fun little ice rink and they even have heaters a small pro shop and a snack bar
Dean Ott: Ice is crisp and hard. We'll lit and seating has heaters
jennifer perry: Super cool place
John Brogan: Seems like an old factory building tuned into a pair of hockey rinks, lots of industrial charm here.
Greg Schell: Great place great people. IYHL..com for hockey. Irish youth hockey league. Contact ice box for figure skating. Pro shop on site. Skates sharpened. Nice snack bar when its open. Lol. 2 sheets of ice.
Jacob Anderson: Nice old place it's just really cold in there But it is hockey season so I guess it's OK
Diane Prentiss: Hockey is a chilling sport but today was better with heaters on..
Tim Loftus: Great place..nice people...family friendly outlet for kids thats something other than video games :)
Sandy Botka: Great place for kids hockey
TaddHockey 33: Good proshop the worker was very helpful to help me get a new stick
Jake Scott: Vending machines are broken and the manager wouldn’t even compensate us. Also concession is never open
Linda lukac: Great time watching hockey!
travis king: Victory!
Jay Moore: A friend of mine went there for a hockey tournament and described his experience to me. Sounded terrible! The workers were extremely rude to him and his family, along with other guests. When they went to talk to the manager of the place, they turned it around on him and said he was being the rude one when he didn’t do anything. They even kicked out a child younger than 6, and made them sit in a car companied. I am extremely upset that anyone would do that to a child. This ice arena is not as good as it sounds.
Jack Mulvihill: As soon as I walked in there was this old guy telling me to leave even though I was looking for my brother, the staff there couldn’t be more rude to me. I talked to management and they turned the story on me and said there are 2 sides to a story. It turns out that this happened multiple times, THEY KICKED OUT A 6 YEAR OLD. So yeah it sucks
Brian Miller: Nice facility, good spectator heat, concession stand open, and decent parking set up.
Dan Thompson: The ice box is where dreams are made, it's a place where boys become men, where dedication and hard work pay off and you make sacrifices for your team. To succeed out there on the ice you need teamwork, and it can create great moments you'll remember for a lifetime. As the great Gordie Howe once said: “You find that you have peace of mind and can enjoy yourself, get more sleep, and rest when you know that it was a one hundred percent effort that you gave – win or lose.” – Gordie Howe. Take that to heart. Whether you're the greatest on the team or not, everyone matters out there. So let's play some hockey, even if you're not Canadian, you're welcome out there on the ice, it's a place of inclusion for all. It's a tough and physical game, but God bless, it's wonderful, and God bless the ice box, this beautiful place is a blessing to all, I love it like a child. Thank you ice Box.
Kayla S: I do security so far it's not a bad place lol

Michiana Roller Skating Rink: what do users think?
Paige Dee: It's what you expect for a skating rink in Mishawaka. The music absolutely sucks. The DJ only plays songs from the 2000-2010s and a few recent ones. I'm sure the place would be much more hype if they updated their playlist.
1 Almadena: Very nice floor at this rink, plus AC/DC playing when we walked in, awesome!!
Jada Garza: Very fun, delicious food like always, perfect music and nice helpful service on the skate floor!💕
Riley Thompson: Owner doesnt let you slide rusty Dodges in the parking lot, zero out of ten, place sucks
Williecool House: I love the place nice people and the skate feel amazing low prices and very good music
Dominic Martinez: Awesome 👌it's a nice and awesome dope place 😎 to be at
Jasmine H: The skates are terrible and need updating. You have to exert so much effort just to keep rolling. There’s a mildew smell and the music sucks. Hardly any R&B, mainly rap.. and not the good rap.
j'son warr: It's a fun place but for everyone 16 and up Thursday nights is the night for you
Brenda Swift: Great skating rink
Seanna Scheibelhut: Kids like to go here every week. Usually on Friday or Saturday from 7 to ten pm
Lilly Kindley: This place is safe sometimes and let’s me have fun
Madeline Kelly: It could not have gotten colder!!
Joseph Green: Could be better
Curt Ko' CooL: A bunch of kids in attendance but I really enjoyed the music 🎶
Thomas Kee: I would never let my daughter go there without me cause them kids are out of control in there
kïñg jæbæ Tomes: It was great
Demon Volt: Was very fun and cheap
Josh Thompson: Great place good people running it nice floor real wood not. A new fake floor
Melissa Mckinney: This place is nice, but I'm not understanding why I have to drive all the way to Niles just to skate with my 5 year old your hours of operation are wak and should there should be more kids nights available throughout the week😖
Bradley Ware: I love this place !
Jeffrey Johnston Jr: It was fun good music coming back soon

Galaxy Roller Rink: what do users think?
Lyman Hungerford: Great for birthdays and kids having fun. 👍👍😎
josh fribley: Fun place, great for a birthday party.
ShyAnn Allender: This is my favorite skating rink. Employees are nice. Stuff is cheep. The floor is nice to skate on and I like when they always keep the lights off on the floor till they start playing games. Bathrooms need doors though not curtain's but restrooms are always clean.
Gargamel P.: Awesome! Inexpensive pure fun! A must try. Great staff, safe and friendly place. Well run.
Robert Basker: They had more arcade games when I was a kid.
Tonyetta Thomas: Had fun with my grandkids
Dawn Clemens: Great staff, kids had a blast! Very friendly environment!
Donnie Chase: Great family fun! Attentive, friendly owners and staff. Nice facility & very reasonable prices.
Ryan Hopper: This place is awesome you can sit down have fun practice and play games you should totally come to this place kirra vanderboegh
Michael ODonnell: Cheap prices for the great time you'll have
J Jor: I love this place it help me clear my mind
beatriz vasquez: Very nice people I will definitely come back!
Andy Dixon: I pulled in late to the parking lot for my niece's bday party, and I had my dog with me . I got him out the car to relieve himself, and a group of adults come out armed with guns, very confrontational attitude from them. I wouldn't ever come to this establishment again. Staff was unfriendly and rude, even after they intograted me about why I was there and how they didn't allow pets in the building, smfh do not recommend
Heather ': To summarize this place is a mess, bad for young kids and the owner is horrible. I'd give it 0 if I couldDo not bring young kids here.   They do not have a system where beginners and slower skaters stick to the wall like at all of the other skating rinks in the area. So advanced skaters will fly by. This makes it extremely difficult too exit the rink. They actively encourage younger kids to only skate on the very small practice which has people standing and watching the big rink which makes even less room. The owner seems like a horrible person. A kid (probably 13ish ) had been talking smack to someone causing some kind of issue. She started telling him he had to leave. He said fine and was a bit rude to her. Then she starts yelling at him telling him to get out now. He said his ride left already. She said she doesn't care that he better get off her property then she says that she owns the properties next door so he has to go all the way down the street. She's yelling this all. Mind you it's 8:00ish no moon so it's pitch black out, he's a minor and it's been raining on and off. But clearly she doesn't care. But later when a large group of young teen girls are cussing, yelling and threatening each other the staff brought over did not reprimand them. They have a dress code that's apparently stricter and more lengthy then schools telling "young ladies" that they have to keep there sweaters completely zipped if they have a spaghetti strap tank top or crop top on. I don't remember the rest of the dress codeWhen I a 21 year old told my younger brother and his friends (all 13)  to get their shoes 10-15 mins before skating was over. The owner told them an adult had to get them? I thought weird policy but ok, I went over she looked me up and down and said rudely that a parent had to get the shoes. I said I drove them there and I'm the one watching them. Note that there were only 3 parent there all with young children. 1 happened to be my mother who had thankfully brought my young siblings later on in the night. I had to call her over to get the shoes from the owner she told my mother "you have kids so you understand. I'm just trying to keep the riff-raff out" I was baffled. She tried to say they couldn't have their shoes until the skate was completely over. There was word going around the young girls that some teen guys were recording them and zooming in on their butts. I can't say for sure of thats true but a teen was recording multiple girls. I would not feel safe sending a young lady thereTo summarize this place is a mess, bad for young kids and the owner is horrible.
Malcolm Miller: The ownership prioritizes business over safety. Stay away and stay safe.
Becky Rodriguez: Doesn't keep kids safe
Bri Bri: Not safe for kids owner is bad
Katrina Wilson: yikes. yikes. yikes. don’t bring your children here. owner is a looney
Tammy LaViolette: Owner is rude. Skate-a-Rama has my business.
Sharlynn Barnes: Staff was very friendly and a great place for kids to skate and have fun.
James Bake: This place is pretty awesome! We went here for the first time today. The skating rink has been there for 40 plus years. It's a great family friendly environment with great prices. You can rent the whole skating rink for 100 dollars. They have a practice area for people that are unsure on skates. They have an arcade and snacks lots of good times and music.

Holiday Roller Rink: what do users think?
Dallas Bohner: My young daughter loves it... but seems pretty run down. Staff seem to not care about anything and wonder off so you gotta stand around and wait for a while. Drinks and food are really pricey for what you get.
Yadira Colon: Kind of overpriced at $10 a person including skate rental. Bathrooms are pretty tore up, have been for years. No mirrors in the bathroom and all the stalls have chipping paint along with carvings/graffiti. Hand dryer doesn’t work in the ladies room and no paper towels are ever in place.
Victoria S: Nice place. Staff was nice, skaters were nice. Prices were fair. My four year old was comfortable enough to skate on her own. My eight year old loved it. Will definitely go again.
Susana [Soto]Weesner: Our grandson loves this place and had a great time skating. While we were there, everyone was very polite and courteous.
Fun Craft: No mirror in bathroom #sobbing #ghetto
brandi Bailey: So fun!!!
Peter Rabbit: I give a 1 star because the place isn’t terrible could be better but my friend got banned for putting a chicken wing in someone’s car
Furtz Whitaker: All-around decent skating ring
Jennifer Hall: Celebrated my son's 10th birthday party here recently and so glad I did! The girls working were amazing! Friendly, and so helpful! The prices here are so much more affordable than anywhere else I've inquired about. With inflation and me losing my job recently I was so worried we'd be able to pull something off, but thanks to their affordable prices, effortless scheduling needs, and not needing a security deposit, not only did we make it happen, but he loved it and we all a blast! Thank you again guys! You don't know how much it meant to us!
James Bake: We found this location online because my girls wanted to go skating during fall break. Most locations are only open in the evenings and have different hours during fall and winter times but they were open for open skate and my girls were extremely happy! The entry fee is only $5 gate rentals are $3 they have lots of arcade games and snacks that you can buy. I would say the only downside besides having a great experience was that you cannot bring in outside food or drink. Be prepared to eat before or buy snacks at the snack bar.
Miss Boss: I love this place.
Belinda Loy: My grandson has fun there. My son & I USE to have fun there. Lol
Nataley Nunley: Great music and food 10/10
Casandra Wagner: I really was hoping for a better experience when renting out the facility. We paid for the private party. The staff refused to cook the pizzas we wanted to order. They then charged us $3 per item/box of pizza that we had to bring in. That was a just a little disappointing. Not only that we agreed to pay for everyone's skate rental at the end. Everyone someone went up to get a ticket he asked them for money. I'm not sure if we were double charged for skate rental or not but it definitely make me question it. Hope anyone else has a better experience then we did.
andy g: Fine place maybe a little dated . Restrooms could use improvement.
Dennis Denson: Fun better skaters here all age group on Saturday. I took 2 families out for a fun workout and helped putting the kids to rest that night. Look forward to my next visit.
Annette Campagna: My kids went there with their older brother and I went to pick them up after a couple hours. Then I walked in the front door and nobody was at the window but a sign said to push on doors and walk in. Well I did that and the doors were locked. So I ended up waiting ten min before I was let in.
Ambre Antonietti: Many of the games and both of the skates they gave me were broken. The place needs a manager or some TLC. The trash all over the outside of the building says it all. Other than that it was fun.
Janea Sharpe: It was fun but the candy is kinda hard
TL Eley: Basically a ton of teens hangout and a couple girls started flirting with me and one randomly kissed me. Best time of my life.
Lisa Wood: Skates are kind of falling apart and the place is pretty run down, but that’s just how roller rinks are these days
