Joe Kopacz: I was not familiar with this particular beverage and snack store chain prior to my visit to this particular location. Indeed, the main reason we visited this location was proximity to our hotel in South Bend and a desire for Yuengling, a beer not available at home in Iowa.There was ample available parking when we arrived (not a busy time, it would seem, at about 9pm on a Saturday). The stoor interior was clean and well organized. We were able to quickly locate 12 packs of the beer in the refrigerated cases and check out soon after.Nothing really more to say about this location. They had some of the typical holiday liquor promotions on display, including several buckets of Fireball liquor gift things. I don't personally like Fireball and in fact it pretty gross, but certainly wouldn't hold that against Belmont Beverages (I do hold this general feeling against Fireball against the rest of the population of the Midwest, however).I'm sure this location well serves the South Bend area in their alcoholic beverage needs. Thanks for having Yuengling, and thanks for being convenient.

Paul Markiewicz: I was in the store for the first on 4/1/23. I thought the ambiance was unique for a liquor store. The store was bright and stocked. Nice selection of whiskey that I did not purchase at this time. My main reason for the visit was to purchase some raft beers. I’m not a big fan of the IPAs or lagers, my preference is Stouts and Porters. Walking into the beer cooler I was taken back on the amount of different craft beers, I was like a kid in a candy store. I would however like to point out a couple things. The lighting was not good. Very few lights and they were over the shelving unit in the middle of the room. This made it difficult to read the cans and bottles. I had to use my light on my cellphone so I could read the bottles and cans. Maybe add some more lights. The other is like I mentioned earlier my preference of beer is it as widely popular so it is a more limited selection. But with such a large selection of beer styles it was difficult to find what I liked. I would suggest making a separate area to display the Porters and Stouts and the like so it would be a more enjoyable experience. I have been in the retail industry for over 30 years, and this is just what I saw. Will I return? Yes
