Jessica Nelson: I had begun to lose hope in finding a great hotel in Evansville but this Residence Inn is it. The staff that I have seen were very nice. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is probably the best Marriott breakfast I’ve had in a while. They even had veggie sausage! There is a cooktop in the room if you like to cook but no oven in case someone was wondering. Not a problem for me but I like to know in case I am feeling creative and want to bake. The laundry room is clean and as of today it was 1.50 per load and then the same for drying. I will definitely come back when in town.

Loss Game: I do not know where to begin! The most amazing place I've ever stayed! Clean, efficient, all needs absolutely met! To top that off, the staff is incredible polite and professional! Wonderfully fulfilling breakfast! Honestly, the nicest people I've ever met! It's located perfectly! Directly across from it is a beautiful lake with a walkway completely around it! It's nestled away from the Highway and very close to any medical need you might have! Amazingly pleasurable stay! I will never go anywhere else!
Lisa Polselli: The pool and hot tub were closed for several days of a 13 night stay in one bedroom suite. Nice layout. Only pool open for remainder of stay. Staff were courteous and friendly. Breakfast got boring and only changed out breakfast meat offered. Room had some questionable stains on the sofa and the sofa bed had lots of crumbs and food bits left on carpet after opening and closing. Full sized fridge, microwave and dishwasher and garbage disposal in kitchen. Loudest a/c we have ever had to listen to and was only drowned out by dishwasher running or the garbage disposal. Lots of dogs on every floor some trying to come through the door when house cleaning knocked and when going out for walks. One room had 4 large dogs staying with owner. All barking and aggressive dogs.
Steel toe: Best residence I’ve been in a while! Plus there’s a nice public lake across the way you can walk around or fish and a few restaurants to enjoy also in walking distance. Shellie R: Update 2022: stayed there a second time recently and the staff was really great. So nice and accommodating! Always very friendly. They gave me a goodie bag upon check in and always provided me with free bottled water when I asked. Good free hot breakfast. The room was spacious like most residence inns. Our cat was comfortable. Joleen Miller: I'm glad I made the choice to stay here while taking care of my granddaughter for a few days. The room was very clean, the staff was super friendly. Hot breakfast in the morning. Full size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher in the room. Felt like home. Shopping is only a short distance away which makes it a quick errand if you forgot anything and then back to relaxing. I will definitely stay here in the future!

Kayla Talley: Great room. We were on the 4th floor and our room was huge. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. There was a whole kitchen with dishes, pans, cutlery, toaster, coffee maker, normal size fridge not one of the mini ones you can barely use but an actual fridge, dishwasher, microwave that doubles as an oven with the press of a button, and they even have stove tops available by request. The pool was nice. The whole hotel was very clean and accommodating. Breakfast was great, lot of options so there is something for everyone. Beds are super comfy. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and will be backRooms: The rooms are large and very accommodating as well as clean. The couch folds out into a bed. We had 2 on the couch bed and 2 in each bed during our stay. Zero complaints. Very comfortable. The room itsself gives a very home like vibe which is great after a long driveNearby activities: Lots to do near the hotel. We went to a Thunderbolt game for my sons choir performance and to Highscore player 2 for my youngest bday. Beth Knoblauch: This hotel was beyond my expectations. Because of this hotel's staff, I will favor Hilton hotels on all my trips. This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in whether business or pleasure - the cleaning crew was top notch. The room and bed was very comfortable and roomy. Nice linens with lots of pillows. Couch was comfy and the TV could turn towards bed when needed. The kitchenette was a great addition. Although I ordered out dinners it was great to have a full size fridge for juices or snacks and water. The workout room was perfect for me. Had what I needed to get a good workout. The bonus was that the laundry area is in a section of the workout area, somewhat. I could put in a load of laundry and then jump on the elliptical for 30 mins while it washed. And even better- the washer and dryer are each only $1 per load. The washer is front load and was decent and they also have laundry detergent paks at the front desk if you need some. They also have dryer sheets I believe. I will definitely be staying at this hotel when back in Evansville, IN. The staff at this hotel made my stay the perfect home away from home! Thank you to all!Rooms: Always very clean, crew did a fantastic job! Very comfortable rooms, very pleased with the space.Noteworthy details: The staff was absolutely incredible. Brittany W: Fast, easy, digital key from your phone, free breakfast, kitchenette with everything but a stove, pet friendly. When someone reads a review they typically only read the first bit so I tried to smoosh in everything I loved about my stay. It was amazing. There was staff present and welcoming but the check in was contact-less. You get a digital key on your phone (via the app) that grants you access to the side entrances as well as your room. But that is completely optional, you can always opt for a physical key card. They have blackout curtains- something i have never experienced - and I slept like a rock. The room i stayed in *smelled* clean. It didn't smell like a typical hotel, that odd smell like other hotels I've stayed at had. I know thats an odd thing to point out, but it made it feel even better. It feels like the staff care about their customers as well as presentation. I cannot stress enough how amazing they are. It has been a few days since my stay and I cannot think of one negative thing about this hotel. I stayed there for one night and I never want to book with another hotel service but a Hilton Home2 Suites.

I usually only stay at this particular property for 1 night when I visit my mother in a local nursing home but will look to these properties if I need a longer stay. The best thing I can say about this property is that the rooms are extremely clean!

Mr. Rude: These people are fried out of their minds with the prices of this place. I stayed here for 2 weeks. The entire building, let alone the rooms are not worth what they charge here per night. WoodSpring Suites right up the road has nicer staff, and comparable rooms for half the price. Only problem with WoodSprings is ending up on a high floor with their slow elevator that's always in use. Extended Stay America has a great cleaning crew but the staff are rude and the rooms are much more expensive than they're worth. The wifi is pretty bad as well. Save your money

Rikk Barrera: Simply put DIRTY!!!My stay originally was going to be for at least 1 month as a business trip.When I checked in the staff was fairly pleasant, then I went to my assigned room which simply put it reeked of cigarettes I immediately called the lobby to complain and the hostess came up and stated " all I can do is put some fabrize on it " to which I replied that'll only last 30 minutes. Then my coworker found German roaches in his. We immediately canceled the rest of the stay and booked the express holiday inn nearby for the rest of our stay.

Michelle Gam: We stayed here for 7 months after a home fire. I can't say enough good things about this place! The staff became family, and we saw how very hard they work to help people as best they can, even when people can be SO rude to the staff. They keep smiling and trying to help. The rooms are clean and have great amenities such as refrigerators, microwaves, and kitchen supplies. If you don't have it in your room, just ask at the desk. They loaned me a rice cooker several times, and they had many other small appliances like blenders, crockpots, grill tools. The outdoor gas grills are convenient for family BBQs and afterwork gatherings. There is a nice outdoor fireplace and seating outside.Pet friendly and accommodating, our dogs miss staying here.The indoor saltwater pool is amazing for kids and families to enjoy. The gym has several treadmills, elliptical, kettlebells, hand weights, trx bands. There is a laundry room which cost $1.50 per load (ex $1.50 for washer then $1.50 for dryer).Rooms: I love the rooms with options for full kitchen, each room has a medium-sized refrigerator and microwave. The beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean and the Stagg works SO hard to clean up after messy guests.Noteworthy details: The indoor pool is awesome for kiddos. And the best part: it's saltwater! We've stayed some places with such strong chlorine, our kids' eyes burned, and could barely breathe, but not here. It was so nice that our kids didn't reek of chlorine.Pet friendly and accommodating, which was so helpful when we were displaced from a house fire for many months.The cleaning crew works diligently to keep the entire place smelling good and spotless.
Marisa Baker: We booked this place for the glass door walk in showers pictured in other reviews and were placed in a wheelchair accessible room (we don’t have accessibility needs), with a tiny bathtub not even one person can fit in. When I asked to move rooms they told me they were fully booked and couldn’t move us. I don’t know where that leaves anyone with accessibility needs

Jennifer Leath: I stayed last night. Upon returning to hotel which I had booked and paid for two consecutive nights. From the hospital I was told that they would not be cleaning my room and since I had cancer they would not clean my room. We had asked for the room to be cleaned while we were gone. The manager lied two about my son giving her the incorrect response #. I was treated rudely by the manager. There was another employee who asked her step away since she was obviously not helping the situation. She was not professional, and I will not be staying at Marriott anywhere in the world after this experience. If upper level management would like to speak with me, I’m sure they can get the records from this Newburgh facility database. If I were her boss, I’d fire her for being inconsiderate and rude and trying to put all this back on me when I was being professional and just asking to have my room cleaned know. Jacqline Vance was the manager on duty. Compassionate training should be some thing that you folks instill in your employees all the way down to the housekeeping staff who also lied to me telling me that she didn’t know I was going to be there for two nights.

Kristina Mundy: Rooms: The room that I got was beyond run down. A burned electric outlet, towel rack sitting across the bathroom sink, massive chunks missing out of the wall, no light bulbs in 2 of the lamps. And then I saw at least 2 full grown roaches. The room had a mini fridge and a microwave. I didn't trust using either one. The microwave was not plugged in, but it was sitting on a different sink right outside the bathroom. The fridge was plugged in but warm. I opened it and it had black stuff (mold?) in the freezer. And the smell coming from it lingered for a good 5-10 minutes. I took plenty of pictures and added them for anyone who wants evidence. Don't waste your money here! None of the rooms look like the pictures on their site!Noteworthy details: Roaches, part of the building has caught on fire. The lady at the front desk said they are remodeling though.

Dylan: I’d give this place 4 stars if it wasn’t for all the smoking JESUS CHRIST. My nose and throat still burn hours later. The “non-smoking section” is a complete joke, it’s literally just signs designating the areas, do they think the smoke will read the signs and not travel around the whole room? Secondhand smoke increases the risk of heart attacks, heart disease, stroke, lung cancer, and other cancers by up to 30% among nonsmoking adults.needless to say I will not be returning here unless they separate the sections with a solid wall, however a smoke free policy would be the most effective way to provide protection from exposure to secondhand smoke. Most likely never coming back here.

Dixie Shelton: We stayed March 31st departed April 2nd. Very disappointed. No fitted sheet was told they don't have fitted sheets only flat by the lady in the back office because the guy up front all he seemed to know was I don't know. We had no room service. We got 2 washcloths and 4 bath towels for 2 people for 2 nights. Called front desk multiple times never got an answer any time. We called after 10 p.m. several times n called again around 6 a.m. the next morning. No answer at anytime. I thought we would have a small refrigerator in the room. No to that as well. My husband was wanting to surprise me for my birthday. The surprise was on us. We spent $423.00 to be very disappointed. Would not recommend and will not be back. Casino was a joke. We tried to get help in the casino because this was our 1st time. They were rude did not help in any way. Got dismissed with a wave of a hand. Hotel n Casino staff needs a attitude adjustment. I work at a hotel. We would never get by with treating our guest the way my husband n I were treated. But Cavanaughs was wonderful. The staff could learn lessons from Cavanaughs. For $200 a night we thought there would be coffee and contintal breakfast. Even if u would have coffee n creamer would of been nice. That coffee in the room was not fit to drink. And even if it was there was not enough for 2 people. Could not get more because we could never get any assistance. Any time we needed something we had to go downstairs for assistance. As big as this hotel is, I really expected something different. The view is the only nice thing I can say. So the next time we want to get away we will go somewhere else and get better service better rate.
Bectar Braun: The security at this casino is a joke. I left my license and my bally card on one of the machines by accident. I left to go to atm down the street since their atm fee is so high. Once I noticed my license was gone. I drove back to the casino I was gone no longer than 15 mins. I went back to the machine and both were gone. I asked security to run cameras back and was told no because it wasn't a purse or cell phone. Someone can literally steal my identity now. I was due to check into the hotel by 6 pm and couldn't because they wouldn't locate the thief who stole my license.
Joshua Payton: Under staffed, rewards are basic non-existent. Food is okay, games are limited.
Jessi Donson: win here? fagettaboutitmachines are just tight. you don't get to sit back and enjoy being out. I came out with 200 dollars and it did not last a hour. you use to could win under Tropicana but since it became ballys I don't ever recall winning over $100 on one slot. so yea I'm pretty much done coming here. keep the spare change free slot play you all send out.

Christie Griffitt: My best friend and I reunited after some pretty traumatic relationships.. We called and booked rooms for 2 nights. We did not anticipate the rain. When we arrived they had canceled our whole reservation and now it is sold out! The front desk was annoyed by us being here saying it will mess up their audit on their paperwork so she has to go back through and change the fact that we actually showed up. She would not even attempt to look or make the situation any better I even offered to pay for a suite. The room we have until 11:00 I believe that's 4 hours has no duvet on the beds or comforter the beds have no fitted sheets does not have any sort of mini fridge or a safe to put things in it is 1980s at best and the view is of the roof gravel. I'm thinking about jumping out!! We just wanted a nice girls weekend to get away. I would have felt better if she would have at least offered some meal tickets or looked at me and told me to go screw myself oh well as she said be out by 11:00 and we didn't get here until about 4:00 we did try but traveling from Tennessee in the rain took a little longer than we expected. My friend had bragged on this place and was excited to show me around her new hometown. It was heartbreaking to see her disappointment. I hate to go home today but it doesn't seem I have a choice.Noteworthy details: Hospitality was less than desirable room was hot because the air conditioner was off not sure if the carpet is clean or not doesn't appear to be no safe in the room for personals no mini fridge for a cold drink it does have a Bible though.

Tamesha Jenkins: The room was nice but not fully clean. The guy who checked us in had a HORRIBLE attitude. Our room wasn’t ready once we arrived and he showed no gratitude. Definitely do not recommend him being at the front desk to “welcome” people because his nonchalant attitude was not so welcoming.
