I am a big fan of wedding white and the PB&J, and my husband loves the Snickerdoodle. The downtown shop is a fun stop on the way home, and the kids behind the counter are top notch. They didn't even bother to help him in a direction for my cake. Needless to say, when we got the cake it looked like a Kroger cake. He spent too much money for a cake that could of came from Kroger and just in their box. Everyone from my party was upset with how the cake looked, and questioned where did it really come from! I didnt get a photo... but I chose Balloons for the icing decorations it looked wonderful.... the Cake was a Round Double layer with the Buttercream in between the layers which by the way they did not skimp on... perfect amount I might say...the actual cake flavor was Raspberry which is her favorite and mine to. The cake was very moist as well not dry at all and it was reasonably priced. I used to order my cakes from Don Halls it takes a cake.....since they are no longer in business I have been searching to find a Rasberry flavored cake with Buttercream frosting......I FOUND IT!! Thank you to Courtney's Bakery for the wonderful cake and great service.....I also purchased some iced sugar cookies for my Grandgirl and they were excellent. Thanks again...5 star rating in my book....all the way around.

Kate Key: Called for sugar free cake, an ironically they had done a sugar fee cupcake for another person. I got a 1/2 doz of the left overs. My diabetic husband was thrilled he hadn’t had cupcakes for his birthday in years. He’s claimed all six. These ladies were super sweet an wonderful to deal with. Hopefully they will continue to provide a sugar free options! They were absolutely fantastic!! Delicious Perfection

Peanut Head: Messed up my wedding cake! Asked for a lavender purple cake and showed plenty of reference pictures. It was a simple three layer cake with one stripe of lavender purple in the middle and purple piped flowers. Since you can't see it till the day of we were shocked to see a dark indigo almost navy blue color on our cake with dark blue flowers. We were so disappointed because their cake flavors are out of this world and the sample cakes we saw were great. It had already happened so there wasn't much that could be fixed at that point.

It was wondering that delivery was offered as an option for a fee of course but so well worth it. You have a customer for life!

debra gaff: Bought two small bundt cakes and asked for a fork. They have no forks?? Selling single serve desserts with no forks available... really? Then we were told we could go to the Starbucks and get a fork. Wow! We won't be back.

I don't think I've ever had a rude person at this place treat me like that I was shocked like lady I have bought stuff in the past before.

Cassia Richardson: Sophie is a friend of mine so I might be biased, but she is amazing!We hired Sophie to do all the cake for our wedding, Was. Not. Disappointed.I didn’t really know what I wanted but she was helpful in offering suggestions. Her work was amazing! The cakes were beautiful and delicious! Sadly while I only ate one bite of cake at the reception, the guests loved it and multiple people mentioned that they are not cake people but enjoyed her cake!!If you are considering using this bakery consider no more…go for it you won’t be disappointed!

Leah Shultz: Sophie at Sweet Cream Bakery is wonderful. I called her probably way too last minute for my wedding but she took on the challenge! They were even able to deliver them to the venue! I am so grateful for Sweet Cream! Their cupcakes were a hit and they looked beautiful! I highly recommend!!!

tahreesuh: Ordered a cake for my stepdad's birthday. When we went in to order the cake the baker/designer was not in and the lady taking our order wasn't allowed to order anything "complex." We didn't want to place an order online and just wanted to get the cake ordering done and out of the way. When the cake arrived it was extremely boring and messy in design. It was also extremely dry and dense in texture. Severely disappointed. Judging by other reviews I've seen, this place is no stranger to experiencing the same issues that I just listed. I would forgive the lazy design and brush it off as a miscommunication if the cake wasn't so abysmal in texture.

Now I did order it at the last minute and I knew they were squeezing me in. But what I orderd and what I got…. Well you be the judge.I picked it up today and it was seriously not what I had expected at all. I was very upset. And when the sweet girl at the front counter said “Our baker did his best”. I can only say…Wow. His best isn’t great.So I called to speak with the manager there, Chad, and was told it matched the picture…and they stand behind their product. This is fair warning…Don’t order a custom cake at Sweet so Geek unless you are willing to get a cake that isn’t what you ordered and get ripped off.What I ordered looked like the cake with a 38 on top. What I got was the cake in the box.I was told the color matched and that I ordered fondant butterflies. I guarantee I never asked for that!But hey, they wanna stand by this… good for them. I will never shop with them again and I’ll be sure to tell everyone I know. These guys stand by this?
Tanya Flatt: LOOK NO FURTHER FOR YOUR WEDDING CAKE.We have always lived nearby one of your stores, and liked the tasty chocolate you sell! We figured ging through Sweets So Geek would be a great opportunity to try more of their menu and we were NOT disappointed. Chad takes his time.to really get to know each couple and what they want out of their dessert. Not to mention the day of, we didn't even have to worry about anything! The cake was delicious was served enough to feed the head table and both reserved tables! And the guests couldn't stop talking about the cupcakes! My brother, who doesn't even care too much for sweets, had several and couldnt stop talking about them!!The "icing" on the cake is that we don't have to deal with freezer cake, as they provide a complementary cake on your 1 year wedding anniversary.
Anthony Cissell: I called Sweets So Geek mid week hoping they had availability to make a cake for my wife's birthday. Man I spoke to said yes and when I told him I wanted the cake by weeks end he was more than accommodating. I told the decorator what i wanted and gave them artistic freedom. When I picked up the cake, I was absolutely blown away. The detail was incredible, the flavor was delicious and they had my cake done early! 1000% I will be buying from Sweets So Geek again. Lovely people who are very friendly. I highly recommend!

We decided since there chocolates were so delicious that their cakes would be too, unfortunately we were wrong our funfetti pickachu cake we had gotten for our sons birthday was dry and crunchy and inedible for the price we payed we expected better. No one at my son's birthday enjoyed it was quite sad. Sorry to say we won't be returning.
Emilie Singleton: I was so disappointed with my cake! I ordered a mermaid cake for my daughters 4 birthday expecting something in water colors and 3D like I saw in all their pictures. Instead I got a pink cake with a scanned and computer printed image from my daughter’s birthday invitation on the top. It was supposed to have writing on the top but instead it was also printed on the side.Also, the cake was not even good! We ordered a funfetti and what we got was a very dense and dry cake that tasted and looked like it was made out of something other than white flour.Do not waste your money on a cake from this bakery! They charged me extra and then severely under-delivered. I was so disappointed for my daughter!

Ice cream was tasty, but not served with waffle cone chips like menu said. Clean & homey inside & i was surprised by how much they offered. Ice cream, pastries, baked goods, and drinks. I went to this business because close friends highly recommended them and I was so excited to support another small business but after my experience I am gonna warn people make sure that when you order cakes and desserts and you're sending in reference images that they can actually provide what you are looking for. I was under the impression that they would be very similar to the reference images and what I received was absolutely not ok. On top of that the Owner of Sweets So Geek Refuse to take any accountability for the poor job and poor customer service that they provided. I am attaching reference images, what I picked up at the shop morning of event, the communication, and the cake after I had to go spend more money to fix it myself
