She did an amazing job at making my daughter feel comfortable and getting her the perfect color for her hair! We will be back to see her.
Miss Black (Candy): I’ve always been in LOVE with Ulta!! I felt like a kid in a candy store!! However, when I patronize this location I can never find help on the floor when I have a question but when I am finally ready to check out, I then find out that the lady pretending to shop, that I kept seeing around me was actually an employee that was following me around. I brought a client with me, (who is Korean) my last visit and she witnessed me being followed around as well while she freely browsed. It’s extremely unfortunate that I can’t receive help or be treated like the other ethnicities, because I was obsessed with this store and LOVED spending hundreds of dollars in here. I was only trying to make a living as a beautician and make up artist, and thought I was allowed to shop here.

Deashlon C: I went to Ulta last minute to get a perfume and a few makeup items for my 30th Bday. Unfortunately I’m always extremely lost when it’s time to shop for Makeup and with so many different perfumes I easily get frustrated while shopping. From the time I arrived till the time I left , the customer service was top tier! I wish I remembered the names of the two ladies that helped me , but I can’t. So thank you Ulta team for providing EXCELLENT customer service!
Nikki Lesley: They carry quite a few "infomercial brands" but none of the three I was looking for. My husband was along with my daughter and me. We received immediate service and were promptly told NO, we don't carry those. Just got the feeling they didn't like having a blue collar guy in his work uniform in their store. My daughter bought several items, and now I get 2 emails a day. I shop Saphora and have Ipsy. I'll keep shopping with them.

Stephanie Carothers: Although I love Ulta, I had some issues with the store manager. I had received a eyeshadow pallet in the mail that was damaged. I tried to have it replaced but they didn't have that one. They wanted to return it but it would take off my points that I had earned for that purchase. I wanted to keep the pallet as the damage was to the two shades I wouldn't really use but she wouldn't give a discount on the pallet. This has been a terrible run around and easily taken care of at another store. She of course wanted me to purchase a newer pallet at more money but I liked the one I had. I also tried to get my birthday gift figured out but she wouldn't even help me with that either.
Harold Black: No longer have Mitchell's cream rinse for her hair. Instructed my wife that conditioner does the same thing. Not the answer we wanted. BUMMER !!
Vanessa Lynn: I got the signature haircut today at Ulta salon and it was a great experience! My stylist Zoe listened to and executed exactly the cut I wanted on my hair plus did an awesome blowdry style. Additionally she was very professional and friendly. Walked in with super frizzy dry hair and left with soft healthy hair that's full of life.

Rama Noodyle: The staff was extremely rude. I waited for 10 minutes to get help and all I saw was staff talking among each other. When someone did come over they basically told me to look for it myself even though I was looking for a specific scent because they didnt have time. However the next customer that walked in was helped with no problem.I would not recommend this ULTA located in Northcrest TO NOBODY. The perfumes are not labeled correctly so it was hard to find the right one. I don't know if I just caught them at a bad time or what because there was little to no customers in the store. Very disappointed second and last time going there.

I asked if perhaps it was in another area because I have seen in up by check out at times? I was told no and she didn't even attempt to try. As I was looking around for other items, I found multiple boxes of it around the front desk area. I think if you are going to have associates on the floor for customer service, they should be better informed or at least check inventory at a Register! It would be more helpful!

Another stylist simply said, “I’ll take you now.” I was confused as I was called without explanation by another stylist, I felt dismissed and disregarded. Why make an appointment with a stylist if this salon will disregard and dismiss the customer preference without explanation or apology? The stylist who was going to help me was not nice at all, not apologetic in any way. And the one I made an appointment with did not even have the courtesy to offer an explanation or apology. I was told, you can reschedule if you want to see Payton (the original stylist I made an appointment with). When I spoke to the manager, she explained to me the situation and how they were trying to keep me from waiting. Priceless. They did it for me, not their poor scheduling management. Truth is that the experience was just poor and conveys their poor customer service.And, because I complained they put me as a “walk in only” customer in their system. I found out when I made an appointment at another store.

Dawn Miller: I booked for my first eyelash extension the other day and I tried canceling through the app and had problems therefore trying to contact them and canceling and getting through was quite difficult so I left him a message and then I got a message that I was a no call no show. I then called the salon immediately to let them know what had happened and I talked to Kayla who is absolutely entirely rude to me and hung up on me by telling me that she needed to get to her next client. I gave more than a 72 hour notice and did everything I could do to cancel and she was not happy because I didn’t want to rebook because I was having not only problems with their system but I didn’t feel comfortable re-booking with someone who wants to give me an attitude. There are way too many places in Fort Wayne to get lash extensions but for a place to be like that with bad customer service will make it to where I will never go there for any type of service.
Melanie Cork: I love the products, but I am not a fan of their customer service. I have come in approximately 10 times and have never been greeted or helped. I have asked several times for simple skincare routine recommendations and the workers never have a suggestion. I recently tried to use a gift card and the worker did not know how to enter it. It took a very long time to check out my 3 items and even by the end I am not sure she even entered in the gift card.I have also tried the spa side of it. My first lash lift and tint the girl was behind the counter eating boiled eggs when I got there. Once she got back to my room, all I smelled was eggs while she was working around my face.My second lash lift and tint experience was much better! Madi did a great job talking me through everything and was very sweet.I do my best to shop for clean ingredients and local; however, I do not think I will return.

Matthew Brown: Scheduled an appointment for eyebrow tint lash lift and tint and derma-planing, of course It was scheduled around my work schedule and I get an email saying that who I scheduled with quit, so they make me an earlier schedule which caused me to have to get a shift covered for work. Tomorrow is the rescheduled appointment and at 8:30 tonight I get another email saying my aesthetician had a last minute appointment and now needed to reschedule for the second time. Mind you this was a Mother’s day gift. Nothing but a half apology and excuse of losing two aestheticians. I was willing to drive 52 minutes to this place because a friend said it was the best. Even referred another friend who is also having the same issue. Honestly they look unorganized and unprofessional and clearly have an issue keeping people leaving the work environment questionable. Super disappointing and will be taking my money and time somewhere that actually values it.

Lori RN: Always have had a great customer service experience here, from choosing the correct color, to helpful suggestions regarding sales. They are not aware of upcoming sales, so you won't get help on that, however.One complaint I have for Sally's as a company, is that they run sales on haircolor, for example. They will offer B2G1F, and not have more than a couple of each color in stock. Thankfully I blend multiple hues, so I can find 3 that I need, although they rarely ever keep 3 of the same color in stock. It's become such a problem that I have to buy my color online.This is not a great strategy by Sally's because I buy in bulk for the free shipping, which eliminates my need to stop in the store for months at a time. This eliminates my massive tendency for impulse buys at each visit every 6 weeks or so. My shopping frequency has gone from every 6wks to once every 5-6mos! This saves me a couple hundred dollars per year, easily. So GO ME! 🤣PS When I leave my beauty salon after a cut, my stylist ALWAYS gets compliments by the other beauticians and patrons...she gives me the credit, but I know who REALLY gets the credit, Ion hair color and the staff at Sally's! 😉 Thanks to the great staff there...all licensed beauticians, btw. They know the products well which is great!
