Tabatha Marsh: As a recent single Mom of 4, I was in a very tough place when my kids and I were staying at Extended Stay North at the end of 2022. The staff there was absolutely amazing to me and my kids. They went above and beyond in every way, even accommodating us by upgrading us into a bigger room. The GM, Deana and assistant manager, Joy, were especially friendly and personable, and made my kids and I feel at home. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. Definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for a clean and safe environment that’s family friendly and reliable. Thank you guys so much for the best hospitality in town.

john: If you have to do anything regarding internet, good luck. The wifi here is next to useless, its always on and off, and extremely laggy and slow. the only thing the tech support will do is ask if your download speed it good, and if thats fine, theyll just say theres nothing they can do, even though thats not the problem with it; the problem is ping and packet loss. one of the internet connections on mobile is literally unusable, it says theres full bars, but in reality it takes about 5 minutes to load anything, and you cant use mobile data because the whole place is 1-2 bars of service, so its just as bad. dishwasher barely works, all it does is make your dishes get caked on by random food particles, even if you rinse. the price is ok, but if youre someone who uses the internet alot or is going to stay here for a while, id keep your eye open for other places.

Rosalina Solis (Rosie): It was good at first but as I was checking out I had an issue with recieving my 100$ deposit back .. they went to the extent to even print out a fake receipt just to get out the receptionists face who was rude from the moment I called from my room an hour prior to my check out time to remind her to make sure everything is good to receive my deposit..the reason I needed to call and make sure everything was ok is because from the day I checked in apparently the lady who took care of my check in.. was never supposed to take cash as a payment form but she did and she definitely wasn't supposed to take cash for the deposit because they need to have a credit card in the file just in case they need to charge for any damages .. but she still accepted my cash and wrote a note out to her manager , stating that she accepted Cash the deposit and that when I checked out will be receiving it in cash she placed it in the envelope and sat it in a drawer or safety box ..so it's check out day which I paid for 30 days June 30th to. July 30th which was a month so as check out day comes I'm reassured that I would not have problems with my deposit and I called ahead of time and now the manager tells me there's a problem due to the employee who placed my deposit somewhere in the office .. who is currently on vacation... Janelle Renschler: Do not stay here—this place is way overpriced for what you get. There is a strange odor in the lobby and the elevator smells like cigarette smoke. My non-smoking room had a musty odor. I specifically booked this type of hotel to get a full kitchen, as I prefer to prepare my own food while traveling. Well…the kitchen had absolutely zero cooking utensils and the appliances look like they were from the 1980’s. The double beds were uncomfortable and were basically cots. Camping outside would have been a more pleasurable experience compared with this room. I am not even a person to normally complain or leave reviews, but ugh!

First if all, the man on the phone when I reserved my room told me there was not a deposit and when I got there they tried to tell me that there was (didn't pay it), then go in the room and it smells like cigar smoke (called the front desk to come smell for herself so I wouldn't be blamed) then the kitchenette is supposedly only stocked with utensils and dishes if the guest asks(???) And they didn't have regular size plates available only salad plates ... And in the whole hotel they DO NOT HAVE AN ICE MACHINE!! Last time I stayed, I wasn't impressed and I definitely won't be back!!!

Amazing front desk staff who took care of all needs (specific shout out to Jim at the front desk, who turned our trip around that started out bad due to a different hotel stay, the second we made the switch to this hotel, our trip took a 180 from bad to great). Rooms were outstanding with good layout, hotel was very clean. Breakfast was great with lots of options and good hours. Pool was clean and water temp was perfect. Breakfast was good and more than anything the smiles and kind faces of the employees. Everything was clean and the little kitchens are adorable and great for a small meal. SRZ: We had a very nice stay at Staybridge Suites in Fort Wayne. The front desk staff, cleaning staff, and staff at the breakfast bar we're all very friendly and accommodating. The place is clean and updated. Breakfast has a lot of great choices including healthy ones.It would be nice to have some hooks in the bathroom for your towels. Also in our suite there were handles on the inside of the bedroom double doors but not on the outside which made it hard/awkward trying to shut the double doors when others were still sleeping.

Mary Vargas: I came down from Indianapolis with my family for the weekend. This was a wonderful experience from the beginning to the end! Nice staff, you can communicate with them thru text which I did sometimes for simple questions I had. The place is beautiful! Lots of space outside for the kids to enjoy! They even have a basketball court I’ve never seen that at a hotel! Breakfast was good they had turkey sausage upon request. Very affordable for a really good deal!!! We had a suite that had two rooms with in it and 3 tvs. This is big with having kids with you!! Great pricing deal !! The value is there!! This would have been a 5 star if only they had streaming on the tv!! 2022 everyone like to watch streaming services not cable with commercials.. hopefully they can update that!!!! Also no Hot Tub that was disappointing I was looking forward to that. At least they did have a heated pool though. I highly recommend this hotel but I do hope they update the tv streaming and Hot Tub.

We were on the 3rd floor and we have a 4 and 2 year old so if they get any bright ideas the window only opens a few inches.2. The staff was very friendly.3. The hotel is along a nature preserve which offered an amazing view.The Negative:1. The room had a very musty smell too it.2. The site lists breakfast, but all there was were oatmeal packets with hot water. No silver/plasticware.3. The shower was broken, only the shower head would work.I would say for paying roughly 50 bucks, you cant really go wrong. Things were clean and it was great on a budget.

Aryn Thomas: We weren’t here too long, just over a weekend, so it was great for the time and price.Only issues we had were that the window in our room was insanely drafty and the heater was right next to the window so it was always either boiling or freezing in the room, but that was manageable. Marie Jennings: There was some amazing employees such as Sharon and Dawn. But there were some that were right down rude and out of line. When a fire alarm keeps going off because it is malfunctioning they should change the person's room not say it happens and make us listen to a fire alarm all night for 9+ hours. For a smoke free hotel, a manager or employee shouldn't be standing in the doorway the hotel having a cigarette. Over all clean, but housekeeping is only 1x every 2 weeks, and requests are ignored.

Don't fool around with Mother Nature: Hotel is in need of some updating, but overall nice and clean. We had a great time at the bar, wings were excellent. Major complaint is breakfast! We travel for work and stay at a lot of Holiday Inn hotels. This one said they have a full service restaurant so we went for breakfast. They said all they had was a buffet, so we said, and thought, it would be fine. We were charged $25 for 2 and it's the exact same breakfast as every other Holiday Inn has for FREE. Hard biscuits, everything was luke warm. If you can't offer better than what we had today, it should be free. Cut up cantaloupe and blueberries are a decent but cheap fruit offering.

Dan Petrowski: Friendly front desk service, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. We stayed 2 nights during the holidays, and had excellent service from the front desk staff. The buffet style breakfast in the restaurant was good, but waitstaff service was limited at best (we never even received drink service during our entire meal, but other tables did). The room décor is somewhat dated, especially when compared to other Holiday Inns, but everything is in good condition and very clean and comfortable. We didn't use the pool or workout facility during our visit, but it looked nice. The hotel is located directly across the street from the local Arena, and was centrally located for easy access to most of Fort Wayne. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again during future visits.

Natalie Everson: Terrible experience! I left because of the front desk receptionist.My friend had booked 2 rooms. One was on the 6th floor and one was on the 5th floor, but we didn't know the room numbers. There were 7 of us between the 2 rooms. My friend and I were the last to arrive around 11pm. There were 2 front desk receptionists. One was assisting another guest. My friend and I stood in front of the other one. She appeared to be counting her drawer at the end of her shift so we waited. She didn't acknowledge us, or say anything like "I'll be right with you." My friend said the person's name who reserved the room. The receptionist was rude from the moment she opened her mouth. "What?" She replied. I said we were trying to check in and repeated the name of the person who made the reservation. She stated if our name isn't on the reservation it would be a security violation to give us the room number.Now, I understand that they can't just hand out keys to anyone who walks in and asks for one and says someone's name. I get that. But instead of greeting us in a friendly manner or even looking up the reservation to see the details, she just blurted out that it would be a "security violation" to give out any information. From the time we entered until the time I left the facility, I was rudely spoken to by this young girl. Never a smile. Never a friendly greeting. Nothing.At one point she told me to stop yelling (I had not raised my voice at all.)We couldn't communicate with our friend who was already in the room because her cell phone had died.I've worked at top notch hotels. Here's how I would have handled it:If I was counting out my drawer, I would have set it aside and helped the guest or at least acknowledged and would have said, "Welcome to the Holiday Inn! I'll be right with you."How can I help you? You're checking in? What's the name on the reservation.Ok. I see it's under someone else's name, etc. I would have then checked to see if there were any notes (ie: other guest's names, etc) and then asked for an ID.If both rooms were listed under 1 person's name, clearly 1 person can't occupy 2 rooms. (The girl kept saying if we didn't make the reservation she couldn't give us a key. That's ridiculous since I've made plenty of reservations under 1 person's name and there are notes under the reservation with occupant's names or something.)If there were no notes or got to a point AFTER CHECKING THE RESERVATION where I couldn't give out a key, I would have offered to call the room for the guest trying to check in.Instead the girl kept talking over me, interrupting me, accusing me of yelling, etc. I was so flabbergasted at how rude she was treating us, that I said I couldn't stay. I grabbed some of my things to take to the car.A gentleman that works at the hotel (I'm not sure in what capacity) followed me out to my car and asked what happened. He told me they've had complaints about her before. (I was not surprised in the least.) As I explained what happened I started to cry. I was just shocked at how the whole thing escalated so quickly! He mentioned he would let his manager know the next day. We walked back inside so I could get the rest of my things. Our friend who was in the room on the 6th floor had come down to the lobby looking for us. She asked what happened and I was telling her the story. The front desk receptionist kept interrupting me even though I wasn't talking to her, I was talking to my friend.The receptionist was clearly leaving for the night so I waited to leave until she was gone because I didn't want to be in the parking lot with her alone. My friends wanted me to stay, but I was too upset so I ended up driving 3 1/2 hours home at 11:30am (arriving at home at 3:00am) instead of being able to stay with my friends.That receptionist does not belong in customer service!

Vanessa Chalman: Stayed there last week, front desk people were rude. Especially the lady Saturday night. The bathroom toilet had hair and dried urine on and around it. I went to Walmart and bought bleach wipes just for that stay . Floor was dirty from the previous people. Neighbors were screaming and cursing at each other all night . I'm never staying there again
Lori Baumann: The booking agency did not inform them of my need for a ground level room, and did not let me know that there was going to be an extra fee for my dog. Had I known this, I would not have stayed, as I have a bad knee, I have a dog, and I feel that I'm being penalized for having a dog that is not going to use electricity, water, or anything like that. The credit card on file is what will be charged for any damages, and those of us who don't damage because of our dogs are having to pay money out of her pocket for nothing. The location is very easy to find, although it is noisy because it was by the interstate. Nonetheless, there are many businesses nearby for food, shopping, and gas, which is nice. The heater was extremely loud and ran constantly whether it was putting out heat or not. The bed only had a sheet on it, it had neither a blanket nor a cover, so I had to use my own personal blankets out of my vehicle. Everything else in the room was clean, although the carpet was quite stained. The continental breakfast is good, although there were signs that said that we cannot take the food back to our rooms, which was unfortunate. I had to sit and eat my breakfast by myself in the seating area, which I really didn't have time for. That being said, the biscuits and gravy were quite tasty. I also had a Danish and some orange juice. This is a nice feature to have at a motel. I also like that the doors exit to the outside and not the hallway, although it would have been even better if I had the ground level room that I needed.
Deb Yoder: I reserved a room on 4/1/23 at the Challenger Parkway location because we lost power in the tornado the night before. Our power came back on so I called and canceled at 2 pm for a 3 pm registration and have a confirmation email marked 2:08 pm. Today I noticed they had taken the 92$ cost of the room out of my checking account. When I called customer care, the lady argued with me that I didn't cancel until 6 pm in spite of my email confirming a 2 pm cancelation. She basically told me I was lying and too bad for me. They are nothing but a bunch of scammers!! I have my bank working on this, and I will tell everyone I can not to use this company.
Charlotte Rothgeb: I was at the lodge for over a month 1/2 for personal reasons. The staff there was all great. Very helpful,and polite. One of the managers Robert was so so great and awesome!!!!! Always went above and beyond. Always made us guests feel sooòooo welcome. The other staff also make you feel very welcome! This place you will always have great privacy!
Gavin Anderson: Arrived to check in, the front desk attendant was very polite. I got my key card and went I my room as I was extremely tired from being up for over 24 hours. I got into the room to find it had not been cleaned, other than they removed the bedding. I go down stairs and discuss this with them, the nice lady. Immediately moved me to the next room over.. this one was worse. There was still trash in the bins, blood on the mattress protector and pillows, no towels, all around just gross. At this point I wasn’t comfortable staying there. The nice lady completely understood and canceled my reservation, though there was no manager on duty so I couldn’t get a refund. Hopefully I can because this was unacceptable to allow to happen.

Nick Wheeler: The suite was filthy and smelled. Someone had previously duct taped over the smoke detector and smoked in the room. The kitchen was well stocked, but the AC only kept the main room cool. The transom into the bedroom did not work. I didn't get a chance to get her name It was an older black lady was red and black hair. I explained that the girl at the front desk off of me extra hour to 1:00 p.m. and she started going off and said check out is at 12:00. She then proceeded to go to the front desk that went to go talk to Robin at the desk and the lady was very aggressive towards her coworker. Besides that everything else she was fine. Dave Matthews: The management could not have been more friendly and accommodating. They we able to quickly find my wife and I room after arriving early and without a reservation. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had more than enough room for work and to entertain a family member in the evenings. The refrigerator and kitchen area was clean. Cooking utensils, dinnerware, and glasses were provided with the suite. Garbage disposal and dishwasher were also included. A separate business office provided ample room for my wife to work. I stayed in the room. The indoor pool was clean; however, the water was too cool for me. The exercise room was well stocked with dumbells, incline benches, treadmill, with pay washer and dryers for guests use.The honor system is used to pay for the food items and other items which may have been forgotten at home. I appreciated being treated as an honest person and not subjected to having enter a queue to complete a one or two dollar purchase.The front desk and housekeeping staff were also very kind and quick to resolve each request.

Rose Riley: I stayed here because it was the highest rated place that would allow my dog while staying within my budget. While there was nothing fancy about the hotel, it still was very comfortable and convenient- from the location, to full studio apartment feel of the rooms, to the variety of food and drug store type products available at all hours. The front desk guy (I hate that I forget his name) was also very polite and helpful. There was a maintenance problem in the first room and he promptly moved me to another room (which was much more convenient than waiting for engineering to show up, fix it, & leave before I could use the bathroom to get ready). The kitchen had everything I needed to make simple meals, and the beds were more comfy than my bed at home! Also, the indoor pool was a nice surprise.
