There food is so good and I was excited to eat some sushi, but once we were seated we did not get waited on. We waited about 10 minutes watching the server hit the table that got seated after us. I got up and told the manager we had been sitting for 10 minutes and he didn't even offer to get our drinks started. We sat for another 5 minutes and decided to leave. I understand being busy an all as I have waited tables, but very poor service. Sadly, I have no pictures of the yummy food cuz I didn't get any.

    Ellie Neuerburg: Nice environment and experience! Had a blueberry martini (very sweet!) and the vegetarian hibachi dinner with fried rice. Had a very kind and talented chef, and the food was pretty tasty at the end. In comparison to other hibachi experiences I’ve had, the food here was lacking a bit in flavor and they do not offer udon noodles with the meal, so that was just a tad disappointing. I would still come back here, though, and I definitely enjoyed my leftovers the next day!

    Lilee Nguyen: Hands down the best sushi restaurant in Fort Wayne. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food is great and on par EVERYTIME. I love their teriyaki sauce! Heard it is home made by the owner. If you love sushi and never been here, I recommend trying it. My go to's are gyoza, chicken teriyaki, tiger roll. There are also some delicious cooked sushi for those who don't eat raw sushi.

So I called and simply asked for a gift card/ reimbursement and the manager told me I needed a doctors note to prove I had food poisoning. Going to the doctor over a $65 sushi take out order isn’t worth it. Now they have lost a regular customer for years because they were unwilling to accommodate me in the situation. I will not be back and would highly recommend Sapporo.
