It's awesome watching them make your food. The soup they give you in the beginning is delicious, as is everything I have tried here. Ellie Neuerburg: Nice environment and experience! Had a blueberry martini (very sweet!) and the vegetarian hibachi dinner with fried rice. Had a very kind and talented chef, and the food was pretty tasty at the end. In comparison to other hibachi experiences I’ve had, the food here was lacking a bit in flavor and they do not offer udon noodles with the meal, so that was just a tad disappointing. I would still come back here, though, and I definitely enjoyed my leftovers the next day!

Kristin Butler: Wow! Really fresh sushi!! They have some unique sushi roll choices. We got a Geisha roll and a Christmas roll. The miso soup is good. They have a crispy rice roll on the appetizer menu that is different and really good. We also got a Bento box with Spicy Chicken Teriyaki. For a lunch size serving, it was a lot of food. The tempura veggies were a little greasy, but I'm not a huge fan of fried stuff. The staff is very nice and very attentive! We will definitely go back!

There food is so good and I was excited to eat some sushi, but once we were seated we did not get waited on. We waited about 10 minutes watching the server hit the table that got seated after us. I got up and told the manager we had been sitting for 10 minutes and he didn't even offer to get our drinks started. We sat for another 5 minutes and decided to leave. I understand being busy an all as I have waited tables, but very poor service. Sadly, I have no pictures of the yummy food cuz I didn't get any.

Lilee Nguyen: Hands down the best sushi restaurant in Fort Wayne. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food is great and on par EVERYTIME. I love their teriyaki sauce! Heard it is home made by the owner. If you love sushi and never been here, I recommend trying it. My go to's are gyoza, chicken teriyaki, tiger roll. There are also some delicious cooked sushi for those who don't eat raw sushi.

I personally don't like sushi so he recommended the chicken teriyaki which was all white meat and cooked to perfection. My partner ordered sushi which was perfect and to their liking. Theo Bishop: I’m a regular here and I got food poisoning from take out. So I called and simply asked for a gift card/ reimbursement and the manager told me I needed a doctors note to prove I had food poisoning. Going to the doctor over a $65 sushi take out order isn’t worth it. Now they have lost a regular customer for years because they were unwilling to accommodate me in the situation. I will not be back and would highly recommend Sapporo.

Mark Holst: We ordered Teriyaki Chicken with fried rice - with extra teriyaki sauce. We had never been to Kyoto so we walked in to look and order. The lady at the counter was helpful and friendly, and the shop is clean and simple with 3 small tables if you want to eat in. Tables are 2 person size.The order was prepared fresh and we were out in under 10 minutes. The meal was very good. Expect every Japanese restaurant to be just a little different - different cooks, different tastes - but we liked it. It's what we expect to get from a Japanese restaurant. We did order extra teriyaki sauce and my wife won't do that next time. It was just right for me.It's interesting that the business next door is the Bamboo Garden - Chinese fare. There is a worker door between the two restaurants and I noticed a large pot of rice going from Kyoto to Bamboo Garden. Owned by the same folks? I don't know. But since they both serve large quantities of rice, sharing a rice cooker is totally logical.We'll be going to Kyoto for carry out when the urge arises. And I suspect an alliance between Kyoto and Bamboo Garden so that restaurant is also on our list when the want for Chinese carry out arises.

Cayce Debzi: We have come here only 2 times. The first time we loved it so much. For our anniversary we decided to come back. We were seated quickly by the host. We waited about 5-10 minutes before our waitress came and and told us she had to put in a couple of orders and would be right back to take our order. We were fine with that but then we didn’t see her for another 10 minutes again and that was her refilling other peoples drinks. She walked right past us as we tried to stop her to order but instead she went to the table next to us. They wanted their waitress and was asking her to let her know they needed her. (So obviously their waitress was inattentive as well). She walked away yet again from us without even taking our drink order yet. On her way to get their waitress she stopped and chatted with a different table about her mom. We finally decided to leave. We were there 35 minutes and never even had our drink order taken let alone our food. We won’t be back.

Mauricio Rosales: This used to be my favorite restaurant at Glenbrook mall. Not anymore because the food has been sitting for a while. Cooks used to cook the chicken on the grill as it was need but now you see a BIG PILE OF OF CHICKEN ALREADY COOK READY TO BE REHEATED when customers arrive. Now I feel like eating at Macdonalds

I know she ordered shrimp because she has Cancer and can only eat seafood. Chicken won’t digest with her. They would not replace her order the guy debated with her telling her you ordered Chicken. He could have simply cook shrimp for her. He continued arguing with her. I heard her say Shrimps, with cabbage on side. You put cabbage on the side. No shrimp. She ate few spoons of rice, end up throwing dinner away. Shame on you not honoring/believe Customers.

Dragon FeyAni (DragonFeyAni): The food is great but the staff is horribly slow and inefficient. If you try to eat there at the mall you'll be standing in line for an absurdly long time. If you try to order online for delivery or pickup you never can because they're always "temporarily closed" on all the delivery platforms.Hopefully the owner can solve his staffing problem because I would eat here a lot more often if the wait wasn't so long and I imagine a lot of other people would, too. And of course that'd mean more profit for them so here's hoping it improves in the future.

If you compare to other sushi places like Koto or Asakusa, you don't get much of sushi at Shoccu out of your money. (i was surprised how little the slice was on top of our sushi).[Granted when we first went there... they did provide solid pieces but the more we go it was not the case]

Anival Ramirez: Delicious food, great service and a good price. It is a little out of the way for me but me and my friends will be making the trek again and again. It was so good I've already started telling friends about it. Portions were bigger than expected without being overbearing heaps. Highly recommend.
