Awesome Amber: Long time shopper. New guy at glenbrook has zero personality and no customer service experience skills. He wasn't rude or anything, just straight up blank faced, didn't greet me, and answered the phone despite me going up to him and saying I have items to return (I had to get his attention since he turned his back to me as soon as I walked up) before the phone even rang.The quality has seriously gone down hill. I used to only buy bras here but they are being made so cheaply now, I just go to lane Bryant. Similar prices during sales and far superior quality to torrid. I don't know why people brag about torrid jeans: they are paper thin and of the worst quality and they ask for $60+Torrid only seems to have the small sizes in stock despite being catered to plus size. I can't buy my size 24 when you only have size 10 in everything, now days. Shirts are being made shorter (no, I'm not talking about crop tops) and the 'soft tee' shirts become bally and rough after only a couple washes, and I use cold water.This used to be the best place to go. Now it's becoming the dollar store of plus sized clothes while charging extortion rates.Try maurices for plus jeans, the quality is on point and go to lane Bryant for bras. Torrid isn't worth over clearance prices.

I used to go to Barbara's New Beginnings but their bras fall apart so fast, they are expensive and the staff is less than friendly... NOT at lane Bryant though. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable, takes their time with any questions you may have. They often have good sales. I recently got 4 bras for 100 and they will last a long time. I'd highly recommend.

I have gained weight the last few years so I had to go up a size in underwear. Well I get home and I’ve been wearing the same size for a few years now and I usually buy the same styles! I get home and they were way small and when I compare them to the other ones I have they are at least pretty much a size smaller then they should be!!! Are you as a business trying to save money on material by making underwear smaller instead of the size it really should be. Super frustrated!!!!!

My mother had bought $400 worth of gift cards and they gave her 8 $10 bonus cards, which was great, but they have very short expiration dates and during the time that you can use them almost everything in the store is on sale, but of course, you can't use the bonus cards they give you on sale items!!! So...basically... You can't use them!!! This was very frustrating!!! They really didn't think that through at all!!! Luckily the lady that helped us check out tried to help as much as she could!!! That is the only reason I gave this place 3 stars!!!

Megan Eckelbarger: I had the CRAZIEST experience here this weekend!I had purchased a shirt Saturday (at the location in the mall) that I was super excited about, but when I was wearing it for the first time on Sunday I noticed it had a hole along the seam on the arm.No big deal, right? I still wanted the same shirt, so I just wanted to do a simple exchange. Easy peasy!I was closer to this location off of Illinois when I noticed the hole, so I decided I’d just stop in even though I was still wearing it to see if I could exchange it for the same shirt and just change in the fitting room. I even still had the tags and receipt with me so I wasn’t expecting there to be any issues with an exchange.The girl that greeted me at the door was friendly, but when I explained the situation, she hesitated and said that typically they only accept returns if they haven’t been worn and that she’d need to talk to her manager.That was fine, I get wanting to dot your i’s and cross your t’s! I still wasn’t expecting to have any issues at all with exchanging a shirt that had a defect, so I waited patiently while they spoke.The manager never did speak to me herself, but when the first girl came back she politely explained that they couldn’t do an exchange since I had already worn the shirt.(For an hour, maybe two?)I thought surely she must have misunderstood that I wasn’t just trying to return a shirt that I decided I didn’t want or something, so I held it up and repeated the part that there was actually a HOLE in a shirt I’d owned for a day and I didn’t want money back, I just wanted a shirt without a hole!She told me if I would have noticed right when I put it on and then taken it off that they could have taken it back, but now that I’d worn it (and I quote) “they could only damage it out and that costs the store money.”I just stood there and stared for a second, surprised and confused, wondering exactly what they were planning on doing with the ripped shirt BESIDES damaging it out? Hang it back up to re-sell and hope the next person that buys it doesn’t notice?I stayed polite and repeated ONE LAST TIME to make sure she really heard me that it had a HOLE and probably NEEDED damaged out but she just apologized and said they couldn’t do the exchange and I walked out the door with my ripped shirt and receipt, baffled!(I was sure to thank the manager on my way out for the EXCELLENT customer service 😆)Today I took the shirt to another location, (Decatur!) told them the EXACT same story (even the part about me wearing it part of a day) and they were like, “Of COURSE we’ll take care of that for you!”When I told them about my experience on Sunday they were as baffled as I was about it and apologized for the poor customer service.So my one star rating is ONLY for this store, I still love my Maurice’s as much as always, but in the future I’ll go out of my way to avoid dealing with this particular location and management!

They do not speak and behave as though they are doing you a favor, when you as a customer are helping provide them with income. Do not expect a hello, thank you, how can I help you, or have a good day. I have considered reaching out to the Rainbow Store Headquarters in Brooklyn, New York because they are being misrepresented. Perhaps management can consider having these young ladies take an online customer service course to learn the basics of how to treat others.

K D: Cashier was extremely nice, the other employee was terrible (said she was the manager).We were lied to multiple times about an item we were trying to purchase. All we wanted to do was to purchase an outfit off of the mannequin. The staff member first lied about the size then after I said I wanted to purchase the item regardless of size she said that the items on mannequins come directly from corporate and are not for sale. That's strange, I have never heard that before. When questioned she then stated that they would only be for sale after the season was over.After asking if this was her policy or the policy of corporate like she previously stated, she shouted that I can call corporate, but she guesses that she will make an exception this time and let me buy the outfit.The staff member needs serious training and needs a lesson on customer service skills. We will never spend another penny here.

Lyss Gail: Have not shopped here since they closed. Needed black boots and black pants. Bought them and the lady said I had up to 14 days to return the shoes. Ok cool. Went home tried on the whole outfit and it didn't look good so I went straight back to the mall. Not even a whole hour later. Tried to return it and they wouldn't give me my money back. Offered an exchange or store credit. What the hell am I supposed to do with a store credit in a place I barely shop at and for the first time in 3 years I go in there and this is what it is now. I will NEVER EVER shop there ever again. If Charlotte Russe had confidence in their product they would allow people to return iterms, not get store credit to make people shop there if dissatisfied.

She threw a pen at me so I could sign the receipt to get the process started. She took my bag and told me to come back in a couple hours. I didn’t realize that they didn’t accept junior clothes. When I went back, she threw my bag on the counter and said, “None of these are what we want. We don’t accept junior clothes. Go to Plato’s”, and just walked away. I’m never returning to that store again.

Brooke Traxler: Immediately upon walking into the store, I was greeted by two different staff members. There were three or four staff working at the time and each of them were friendly, helpful and courteous. It was evident that they were focused on not only working with the clothing and products, but creating a space that is comfortable and helpful for consumers. The store was organized and there was a lot of variety to choose from. Kudos to the "newer girls" working in this location, the friendly and helpful attitude was a refreshing, pleasant surprise. 5 Gold Stars! Go after it, girls!

Addy Blair: Would give -5 stars if I could. Dropped 6 bags of clothes off after Plato’s closet said they would buy more since the clothes were more “mature”. Happily I took them over and when I walked in every worker there gave very nasty looks remarks towards me and they said they would send a message when it was done. I hadn’t been out of the store for more than maybe 5-10 minutes before I got the message. Really confused on why it took such short time I brought my mom back with me since they were her clothes. They didn’t even look in the bags, the bags were all left the same way and place i dropped them off. The lady said they wouldn’t take anything because “they weren’t brands or clothes they purchased” however looking around I saw almost every brand we had in the bags. Every other review that talked about rude workers was not lying. Very disappointed in the customer service and lack of work in there.

Alyssa Claymiller: Don’t even bother trying to sell your clothes here, I always bring in brand name clothes (some even with tags still attached) and when I get my clothes back I can tell they didn’t even go through the whole box. Kind of rude in my opinion and a big waste of time
