Tabatha Marsh: As a recent single Mom of 4, I was in a very tough place when my kids and I were staying at Extended Stay North at the end of 2022. The staff there was absolutely amazing to me and my kids. They went above and beyond in every way, even accommodating us by upgrading us into a bigger room. The GM, Deana and assistant manager, Joy, were especially friendly and personable, and made my kids and I feel at home. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. Definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for a clean and safe environment that’s family friendly and reliable. Thank you guys so much for the best hospitality in town.

john: If you have to do anything regarding internet, good luck. The wifi here is next to useless, its always on and off, and extremely laggy and slow. the only thing the tech support will do is ask if your download speed it good, and if thats fine, theyll just say theres nothing they can do, even though thats not the problem with it; the problem is ping and packet loss. one of the internet connections on mobile is literally unusable, it says theres full bars, but in reality it takes about 5 minutes to load anything, and you cant use mobile data because the whole place is 1-2 bars of service, so its just as bad. dishwasher barely works, all it does is make your dishes get caked on by random food particles, even if you rinse. the price is ok, but if youre someone who uses the internet alot or is going to stay here for a while, id keep your eye open for other places.

Rosalina Solis (Rosie): It was good at first but as I was checking out I had an issue with recieving my 100$ deposit back .. they went to the extent to even print out a fake receipt just to get out the receptionists face who was rude from the moment I called from my room an hour prior to my check out time to remind her to make sure everything is good to receive my deposit..the reason I needed to call and make sure everything was ok is because from the day I checked in apparently the lady who took care of my check in.. was never supposed to take cash as a payment form but she did and she definitely wasn't supposed to take cash for the deposit because they need to have a credit card in the file just in case they need to charge for any damages .. but she still accepted my cash and wrote a note out to her manager , stating that she accepted Cash the deposit and that when I checked out will be receiving it in cash she placed it in the envelope and sat it in a drawer or safety box ..so it's check out day which I paid for 30 days June 30th to. July 30th which was a month so as check out day comes I'm reassured that I would not have problems with my deposit and I called ahead of time and now the manager tells me there's a problem due to the employee who placed my deposit somewhere in the office .. who is currently on vacation... Janelle Renschler: Do not stay here—this place is way overpriced for what you get. There is a strange odor in the lobby and the elevator smells like cigarette smoke. My non-smoking room had a musty odor. I specifically booked this type of hotel to get a full kitchen, as I prefer to prepare my own food while traveling. Well…the kitchen had absolutely zero cooking utensils and the appliances look like they were from the 1980’s. The double beds were uncomfortable and were basically cots. Camping outside would have been a more pleasurable experience compared with this room. I am not even a person to normally complain or leave reviews, but ugh!

First if all, the man on the phone when I reserved my room told me there was not a deposit and when I got there they tried to tell me that there was (didn't pay it), then go in the room and it smells like cigar smoke (called the front desk to come smell for herself so I wouldn't be blamed) then the kitchenette is supposedly only stocked with utensils and dishes if the guest asks(???) And they didn't have regular size plates available only salad plates ... And in the whole hotel they DO NOT HAVE AN ICE MACHINE!! Last time I stayed, I wasn't impressed and I definitely won't be back!!!

I had some complications arise, so I called ahead around 5 to let the front desk know I would be arriving late. I was assured that as long as I had a credit card on file, my room was guaranteed.Upon arrival (after driving for 5 hours), I go to check in and am informed that there are no rooms available. There are only single king and single queen rooms, and I have reserved two double beds. The clerk asks what I would like to do, and I tell her I am confused how this happened. Her answer was basically “I don’t know, I wasn’t here.” My options were to leave with a full refund or take a room with less beds (note that though she apologized, there was no offer to do anything in compensation for the inconvenience or the change in rooms if I did stay).My friend and I decided to go to another hotel instead. I was issued my fill refund, which I appreciate, but this was a very frustrating end to a long day. I appreciate the worker at the front desk being honest about my options and giving me the refund, but I will not attempt to stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone while knowing that they may have no room to stay in when they get there.

When a fire alarm keeps going off because it is malfunctioning they should change the person's room not say it happens and make us listen to a fire alarm all night for 9+ hours. For a smoke free hotel, a manager or employee shouldn't be standing in the doorway the hotel having a cigarette. Over all clean, but housekeeping is only 1x every 2 weeks, and requests are ignored.

Kiersten Malone: The rooms are amazingly clean, spotless, a full kitchen, except for an oven but there is a stove. There's a laundry hamper, hangers, a dresser, a phone, and an alarm clock. The only thing about the beds is they are small. They can fit two people but you'll be right up against each other. The ladies at the front desk are absolutely amazing! They will make sure you are as comfortable as possible and are extremely considerate and just want you to have the best stay possible. As for the price, it is an amazing price or how clean and comfortable and up to date it is. You will not find any other hotel this price with how clean and up to date it is with daily or weekly pay. Your first month you pay taxes and at the end of your first month they will give you credit towards your room for the taxes you paid, and you will be tax exempt after the first month! I've never had any other hotel do that. They have an amazing laundry room that you can use cash or card on an app with, and even have detergent on the wall you can buy if you don't have any, they also have amazing vending machines with a huge variety of drinks, from the glass coffee drinks, pop in cans and bottles, Gatorade, and even energy drinks and a snack vending machine. I just wish they had a trashcan closer to the doors for trash from your room. All in all i have been here for a month and don't plan on checking out anytime soon. Natalie Shaffer: BEST HOTEL EVER! the front staff one in particular this person is named Natalie and let me tell you this person is the most kindest person you’ll ever meet. i only go here every other weekend to go and see my mom and all the times i see Natalie don’t know Natalie’s pronouns so that’s why i’ve been saying the word person, but let me tell you she has to be one of my favorites. she always gives out the warmest pillows and blankets fresh out of the dryer and i can’t be more thankful to have her do that! i love this hotel more than anything! Parking Full Time: I'll start with the worst thing about this lodging: the beds. They are basically cots with a cushion on top, and sleeping on them activated my back problems. Everything else is great for the price. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent-sized rooms. Odd location in a medical park, but it is convenient and quiet. If your back is strong enough to handle the bed, you will have a good stay here.

Bunny Rabbit: Great place and location but don’t know why you have to pay 250$ non refundable pet fee plus 5$ a day so for the cheapest room you pay 437$ a week or 70$ a day it’s not worth the price 1748 a month! The room is very clean and nice but the bed is horrible has No box spring so it is very uncomfortable and doesn’t fit two people comfortably so get two beds!

Fatboy pokemon: I was heading to this hotel to drop off a friend that just came from Seattle Washington and the service there was excellent the lady that was a front was very kind and courteous I really do enjoy that about a lot of places instead of making you feel like and you feel like a everyday product or money symbol coming in. They treat you like a person and have a conversation with you. The rooms were very good there was a lot of space and his space and lot of conveniences within the room. The location is a little less desirable it's very back in the back of the hospital and some other businesses and there is pot holes as well which I did hit when I was coming late at night. But overall with the price and the service that was given it was a good hotel to be at and I would recommend for people who want to stay within the budget range of $40 to 50.

I couldn't take my little girl in there on our last night there, because there were a bunch of guys in there downing a huge pack of beer. I have never been to a hotel that allowed any food or drink in the pool area let alone alcohol. The pool is all my 4 year old cared about on this trip, and the last night of our stay she could not go in because of this. I am a father of 2 girls, I would spend more money to go to a hotel that monitored their pool. The pool was the only reason we chose this hotel in the first place. That carried more weight for me than it might for most people.

Jon Monahan: TownePlace Suites is overall just great. Every one of the staff members that I met were very, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious with plenty of surfaces to work, eat, or use for whatever is needed. There is a kitchen area with a fridge, sink, plenty of cabinet space, and everything you'd need. The bathroom is roomy and updated. The only small issue is that the closet was fairly small, but that wasn't too much of an issue for me. The pool was nice, and I used the fitness room every day. There's plenty of parking outside and the location is convenient to lots of attractions including the mall across the street. Each doorway, other than the main entrance is key card access only, which is great for safety. When I'm back in town, I'll definitely be back.

Nice rooms but definitely has gone down hill over the last couple of years, but the staff has not changed. Very rude staff at the front desk and housekeeping is rude as well. Stayed here on 8/5-8/7 and had to leave at 3am to take my sister to her morning internship. When I returned I went to my room and my key was deactivated. When I retuned to the front desk to get my key reactivated, nobody was at the front desk, well I peaked around the corner of the desk and the night auditor with curly red hair was asleep behind the desk! Tried waking her up a few times and she was snoring. Finally I picked up the operator phone and it woke her up. As someone who works for a Marriott hotel I was very disappointed with that and the lady snoring behind the desk crossed the line. Breakfast was not worth it either. Love the rooms and the space but the service and staff was poor.

Hayden Sweet: DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! My girlfriend had came back from taking her sister to her internship when she realized that her room key was no longer working. When she went down to the lobby to ask for a new key, the staff member working the desk WAS ASLEEP in the back. She could not get back into her room for almost 2 hours!!Also, if you’re a woman, I would not go outside of this place alone without some defense late at night. There is alot of very suspicious activity with individuals who appear as if they are under the influence of drugs. We also saw a white van with no windows parked running with the lights off suspiciously.

Unfortunately I was not pleased to come down to get some coffee for my very early morning shift at my early morning internship to see the night auditor sleeping at the front desk! I can empathize that we all have stuff happening in our lives outside of work - BUT it is completely unprofessional and unacceptable to need help and the desk attendant is sleeping on the job!

The front desk person during the day was not helpful and condescending. Bed was old and sagging in the middle. No hairdryer and only one bar of soap. Coffee was unavailable. Felt unsafe. I've stayed at Choice Hotels, I work for Choice Hotels and this is by far the worst. Never again.

Had I known this, I would not have stayed, as I have a bad knee, I have a dog, and I feel that I'm being penalized for having a dog that is not going to use electricity, water, or anything like that. The credit card on file is what will be charged for any damages, and those of us who don't damage because of our dogs are having to pay money out of her pocket for nothing. The location is very easy to find, although it is noisy because it was by the interstate. Nonetheless, there are many businesses nearby for food, shopping, and gas, which is nice. The heater was extremely loud and ran constantly whether it was putting out heat or not. The bed only had a sheet on it, it had neither a blanket nor a cover, so I had to use my own personal blankets out of my vehicle. Everything else in the room was clean, although the carpet was quite stained. The continental breakfast is good, although there were signs that said that we cannot take the food back to our rooms, which was unfortunate. I had to sit and eat my breakfast by myself in the seating area, which I really didn't have time for. That being said, the biscuits and gravy were quite tasty. I also had a Danish and some orange juice. This is a nice feature to have at a motel. I also like that the doors exit to the outside and not the hallway, although it would have been even better if I had the ground level room that I needed.

Deb Yoder: I reserved a room on 4/1/23 at the Challenger Parkway location because we lost power in the tornado the night before. Our power came back on so I called and canceled at 2 pm for a 3 pm registration and have a confirmation email marked 2:08 pm. Today I noticed they had taken the 92$ cost of the room out of my checking account. When I called customer care, the lady argued with me that I didn't cancel until 6 pm in spite of my email confirming a 2 pm cancelation. She basically told me I was lying and too bad for me. They are nothing but a bunch of scammers!! I have my bank working on this, and I will tell everyone I can not to use this company.

Charlotte Rothgeb: I was at the lodge for over a month 1/2 for personal reasons. The staff there was all great. Very helpful,and polite. One of the managers Robert was so so great and awesome!!!!! Always went above and beyond. Always made us guests feel sooòooo welcome. The other staff also make you feel very welcome! This place you will always have great privacy!

Gavin Anderson: Arrived to check in, the front desk attendant was very polite. I got my key card and went I my room as I was extremely tired from being up for over 24 hours. I got into the room to find it had not been cleaned, other than they removed the bedding. I go down stairs and discuss this with them, the nice lady. Immediately moved me to the next room over.. this one was worse. There was still trash in the bins, blood on the mattress protector and pillows, no towels, all around just gross. At this point I wasn’t comfortable staying there. The nice lady completely understood and canceled my reservation, though there was no manager on duty so I couldn’t get a refund. Hopefully I can because this was unacceptable to allow to happen.

Rosalie Shock: The room was nice, t.v. was okay for short while we have to report for them to fix the problem when he left we watch them it went off again. The heater is not that good in room 308 but too hot and then not even automatic later it turn to cool. That heater need replaced or repaired it.Nearby activities: Went shopping anywhere, it was good.
