Rene's Bakery Inc: what do users think?
danmusicmegaman: Amazing bakery! I ordered a birthday cake for my grandma’s 92 birthday and it was perfect! The cake was moist and delicious and the frosting was just right. The decorations were beautiful and exactly what I asked for. I highly recommend this bakery for all your cake needs!
Phillip Black: Perfect
Brett Rathmell: Tiny shop with lots of Big tasting pastries , cakes , breads & friendly staff ( almost feels like I'm in Europe again )
PETRA STANFIELD: I bought a mixed berry, key lime bread pudding at the place. It looked like and was shaped like a larger than average muffin. While the bread pudding part was moist and had just the right amount of sugar, it was lacking of other items. There were a few berries and streusel on top, but absolutely none inside of the rest of the body.I couldn’t taste anything which would have identified as key lime .
David Sites: Extremely tasty, very nice selection, we had blueberry scones & blueberry bread pudding, delicious!!
Andrew Fultz: Best bakery in town! Cakes, muffins, macaroons and more! Cannot go wrong with Rene's. The staff is so welcoming and friendly as well.
Jim Kelley: Best bakery anywhere! We always compare goodies we get elsewhere vs. Rene's. Rene's wins 95% of the time.
Tom Spalding: Our go-to year-in and year-out for chocolate cakes. None better in Indy and the lines out the door speak for themself. Worth the wait!
Westin Williamson: Nice staff. Limited but delicious selection.
Julian: Danish, croissant and flourless chocolate cake were my favorites. Wish they sold iced coffee
Eddie Price: This is ALWAYS A MUST STOP PLACE when in town from Terre Haute
Olivia Graue: Delicious pastries and kind staff! A Broad Ripple gem.
Eva Rodriguez: Omg everything is amazing here, the costumer service is 6 stars😅..I came to far away just to buy walnut and raisins bread
Christopher Ullrich: Melt in you mouth croissants, excellent selection of muffins, cakes, danishes,etc... Must try.
Vinicio Sanchez: Great croissants!
Olu_Fikayo: Beautiful and cozy space with lovely people and yummy bakes 😊

Some of our family favorites are the almond croissants and chewy chocolate cookies.I brought my kids in today to pick out a treat they chose macarons and they were all delicious but the passion fruit one was phenomenal! The staff is also super friendly. My son said he wants to come back every day!
J C: Omg…just stopped in for the first time. So many delicious treats, we went a bit crazy! :). Got out to the car and scarfed down a piece of blueberry coffee cake and my wife had a chocolate cream eclair. Love the environment and the folks were really nice. Definitely will be visiting again.

Native Bread: what do users think?
Malcolm Rogers: If you're not getting your allergen-free goodies from here, you should be. Even if you don't have food allergies. Everything is so so tasty.
Amber: Stopped by for the first time last week, and so glad I did. Some of the BEST gluten-free (as well as basically everything-free) baked goods I have ever tasted. I purchased the honey wheat & rosemary bread loaves, as well as several scones. Phenomenal. I cannot wait to try everything else! Hopefully they can open a southside location in the future!
Matt T: I stumbled upon this bread shop recently and was so happy to have found it!If you have an opportunity to talk to the owner and hear their story, it speaks to their intentional purpose in their products and facility. We tried two different types of bread that were available that day which were both great with soups for dipping, or made into some sandwiches with your favorite toppings (go early! It's that good! Or order ahead!).The bread was fresh and delicious! We are thankful for all that you do, and look forward to seeing you next time ✌️
Matthew Simmons: If you are gluten free you have no excuse not to visit this gem. I repeat- go here- buy it all! The bread and cookies are to die for! I’m gluten and dairy free and they had endless options! The whole kitchen is gluten free!
Alex Nation: Amazing gluten free bread. I honestly do not care for 90 percent of gf bread, but this is my favorite. I’ve only ever had their bread from farmers markets and am happy to learn of this location :)
Kimber Krauser: Best gluten free bread I've ever had. Love their seed load as well as their gallettes. Highly recommend their easy pre order online. Shop local.
Bridget Brunette: They make amazing, delicious gluten-free bread. Absolutely worth a try. 100% better than anything I've ever bought in a grocery store.
Shannon Burns Molleo: I unfortunately do not live close enough to the bakery or pick-up locations to stop by in person but I am so happy I ordered for shipping ahead of Thanksgiving! The cinnamon raisin bread was absolutely amazing and my favorite. I also tried a baguette, sourdough, and roasted garlic and rosemary. The added shipping cost was certainly worth it as a special treat.
Carol Smallfelt: Nice
Richard Nussle: They best gluten free bread, hands down. They have a ton of assortment of breads and cookies, scones, etc.Everyone is very friendly. It’s easiest to buy online a couple days before and then pick it up as they do sell out. I also grab their bread at the broad ripple farmers market. My favorites from them are the honey oat and the kalamata olive loaf. The chocolate chip cookies are great too.The photo is of 3 of their different galettes.
Dan Pete: Good gluten-free bread was hard to come by until I discovered this place. For me, gluten-free anything is a dietary must. Grocery store breads are just meh, but Native Bread is miles above and beyond anything out there.Made with real ingredients you can pronounce, the taste makes you forget its gluten-free! Its slightly pricier than store bought but well worth the negligible difference for a high quality product.I found it best to order online for pickup as thier open hours are limited. In store impulse purchases tease the senses when you see and smell the goodies in person! So glad to have found Native Bread! Check it out!
Pervaze Akhtar: The best gluten free and vegan bread I have found.
Mark D Anderson: The best loaf in town, hands down. Conscientiously crafted. Awesome ownership with social responsibility. The sundried-tomato goes down so well. Pairs great with soup/salad, in a sandwich, or standalone. If you like simple mornings, nothing easier than a fantastic artisan bread for breakfast.
Lindsey “Linji” Mark: Love the bread selection, big fan of the honey oat and the rosemary loaf. Tried the chocolate chip cookies and they did not disappoint. If you want something specific but can't get there early use the order ahead option.Try this locally made bread and it'll have you saying, Udi who?!
Brad Secrest: Stop buying those commercial loaves on the shelf or in the freezer at your local grocer! Native Bread loaves are less expensive per ounce and you will never find better flavor or more variety than these artisan loaves. The sourdough is my standby but any of their breads will leave you wanting more. While you're there pick up some cookies or scones too! My only recommendation is to add a slicer to the kitchen so we can buy them pre-sliced. I have a small deli slicer at home so it's no biggie for me and I get lovely uniform slices but I'm confident others would appreciate sliced bread.
Courtney: Their bread is the best gluten free bread that I have had! Thank you for making bread for those of us with allergies.
Dawn Kozarian: I ran across native bread while visiting the farmers market off Meridian Street. Having issues with gluten and gums I thought I’d give it a try. Wow! My digestive system seems to be OK with it and I love it. Thank you.
Nicole Hikesalot: Delicious homemade gluten free bread! I am so glad this place is in town, I am celiac and missed good bread so much, and this bread is simply amazing, all healthy and natural ingredients. Great customer service too! Be sure to try the other baked goods like the muffins and danishes. Outstanding!!
A. A. Akhtar: Outstanding quality! European style bread that's gluten free and vegan! Lots of flavors/choices: sourdough, seeded boule, olive, cinnamon raisin,& more!
Mindy: I waited a year to try Native Bread and it was worth the wait and long drive. Grocery store gluten free bread was irritating my stomach with all of it's additives and gums. Native bread is a lot easier on my stomach and it's texture and flavor are amazing. The cinnamon raisin bread is my current favorite. Even my gluten eating friends love it.
Kylie Lockett: The best bread I’ve ever had! Its very hearty and the only bread that doesn’t make me feel bloated after eating it. I’m partial to the honey oat and cinnamon raisin. Both taste amazing toasted with just butter or add honey, peanut butter, jelly, etc. It’s a big hit here in Indianapolis and loaves Sewell out fast, so plan to order ahead a few days in advance to avoid any hiccups to get your order.

Sourdough Heaven: what do users think?
Sean Doll O'Mahoney: Andy was very kind to share some of his sourdough starter with me when I mentioned I am looking to upgrade my home pizza making with some whole wheat flour and sourdough. His kindness, warmth and hospitality were wonderful gifts and I hope to return to share some pizza with him.
Tiffany Leason: We tried the cheddar cheese with jalapeno and chives and the gluten free. Both were amazing due to the taste, crisp crust, and soft interior. Loved the cheese and jalapeno combination. The gluten free bread was the best we have had and you would not be able to tell that it didn't have gluten! The ordering and pick up was quick and easy. Thank you for making such tasty and healthy sourdough bread and for providing a gluten free option!
wendie zeller: Sourdough Heaven is the perfect name for this wonderful business! We have tried the San Francisco Style Whole Wheat, the 4 Whole Grain Flours with Eisele's Raw Honey and the Italian Tuscan Herb Seasonings and Turmeric. All are fabulous! Andy uses only the best ingredients to make the perfect, healthiest and tastiest loaf of bread. He takes great care to be sure that you are a satisfied customer. I highly recommend!
Madalyn Wilson: Absolutely delicious bread! It was a hit with the whole family and really brought some excitement to our dinner. I'll definitely be ordering again!
Carol Bookwalter: The cheddar cheese w Jalapeño and Chive is delicious!Highly recommend!
Al Schuppe: I got the Sourdough Cheddar Cheese with Jalapeños and Chives loaf. By following the very clear and simple baking instructions, my bread came out perfect! This bread has a wonderful crunchy crust, much like French bread, and is soft, moist, and hearty on the inside. The Jalapeño flavor is great, and it provides a little heat with a delicious tangy Jalapeño flavor. There is just the right amount of cheddar cheese in it, and the chives complement the Jalapeño and cheddar very nicely. The bread is very satisfying and one could make a meal out if it! I really love this bread, and I look forward to getting another loaf, and trying other Sourdough Heaven varieties. Two thumbs up!
Tyler Stutz: Delicious bread! I have recommended it to multiple friends and family already. I'll be ordering more in the future!
Ruth Padgett: I wanted to strengthen my healthy diet with the best quality sourdough I could find. This lead me to Sourdough Heaven and I've been ordering ever since. My current favorite is Two Olive with Mediterranean Spices. Thank you, Andy, for the excellent quality of your breads. I'm grateful to find a sourdough so tasty and so good for me!
Egan Montgomery: We tried the gluten free sourdough bread and it was honestly one of the best GF products we’ve ever had. Can’t recommend this business enough. Super easy to order, friendly team, and awesome products.
Juan Carlos Ramirez: We tried the chocolate cherry bread. It was amazing.
K Kalchev: Amazing quality and taste. You can tell that they truly honor the artisan process of bread making. Also great that whole grain flours are used as I don’t handle refined grains well. The texture of the crust was like French bread but the inside was soft and hearty. You really get what you pay for and the bread stayed moist for days. Will be giving these as gifts in the future. So good!
Stephanie Vail: The bread is divine! Andy is very knowledgeable and super helpful.
Joy Smith: Name: joyMr. Andy, I had the opportunity of tasting your lovely Cheddar Chees with Tuscan Herbs Bread. When Gary Lear placed this delectable piece of food art in my hands. I knew it was going to be delicious. I could smell the herbs. I could not wait to bake it. I placed it with some Red Wine, Pesto Pasta cherry tomatoes grilled zucchini and a little parmesan. I wish I had this famous Chocolate Sourdough with Chocolate Chips and Organic Cherrie Bread. I see I can order this. I will plan on doing so. I thank Gary for introducing your nice warm comforting bread.
Marc Aguilera: Andy Anderson’s bread of Sourdough Heaven is the best I have ever had. It is a true artisan sourdough made with the very best, truly high-end whole wheat flour from very exclusive parts of the US and Canada using an outstanding starter. The crust of all his breads I tried: Garlic & herbs, Cheddar & Jalapeño, Savory Chocolate etc. was always a perfect and delectable deep dark brown, the texture so moist while perfectly cooked with ideal aerated look & consistency to it. Flavors were always spot on, so similar to the best Parisian loaf boules that I have had in Versailles & Paris region growing up all my childhood till the start of adulthood!… Highly recommended! Superb Sourdoughs!…
Rosana Colon: All the flavors were delicious….you sense the quality and bakery craftsmanship. My neighbors raved about it, but the chocolate cherry was off the chart. Great with a light red…delicious. I loved them all! Highly recommended.
Jane Love: We had the cheddar, jalapeño and chives and it was unbelievably delicious and beautiful to look at. Instructions were very easy to follow. Definitely will try other flavors!
Aaron Jones: This bread is the best artisan loaf I have ever tasted.. I particularly enjoyed the texture and flavor along with the crust. If you are a bread lover, this is by far a loaf that will not disappoint you.
Jon Helgemo: I am really enjoying my loaf of bread from Sourdough Heaven. The fact you can slice it after baking and then freeze it again works perfectly for me. I can’t wait to try a different flavor.
Fernanda Esponda: THE BEST SOURDOUGH BREAD I HAVE EVER TRIED!!! Seriously… even the gluten free is amazing and that’s a hard one… if you are not a gluten free fan don’t worry there’s +20 varieties!THIS IS A PORCH PICKUP BY PREORDER BUSINESS. (They have delivery too)It’s super easy you just place your order on their website and set the day you want to do your porch pick up at their house. If you are lucky you might get the chance to meet Andy. He is a great guy! It’s a win/win: support small business/ get high quality products.
Kristen Mozeika: Excellent quality and tasty bread! Ordered a couple of loaves to try including the Asiago and sun dried tomato as well as the gluten-free loaf for a friend. The Asiago had great flavor and amazing crust. My friend tried the gluten-free and said it was the best gluten free sourdough that she’s had locally!Andy does a great job and puts a lot of care into his loaves. Highly recommend.
Crystal Minnix: Bought my first 2 loaves today!!! Absolutely amazing of how the bread is served. I can't wait to pop in my oven and have my entire kitchen smell like home baked Sourdough bread!! Thanks so very much!!!

Landlocked Baking Company: what do users think?
Krunal Shah: Ambience is good. Free parking. Friendly welcoming staff. Food is good and unique! Food presentation 5/5. It’s not a regular avocado toast or regular Brussels sprout salad! It is different. Take a time to enjoy your food, enjoy the ambience. Limited menu options but fair enough to explore the menu throughout the day. Any dish in the menu can be made VEGAN or VEGETARIAN. Even coffee had OAT MILK option in the dispenser. ( other franchises charges extra for oat milk!) Smoke free. Pet friendly. Come with friend/ family/ loved one, it’s a great getaway from busy life.
Amira Malcom: Whoever is in charge of the miso grits deserves a Michelin star and a pat on the back. I'm obsessed.A bit expensive bang/buck wise for other items (looking at you, hash 👀) but I was treating myself, the coffee is great and the staff is nice so
Emily Werner: The chai latte is amazing, with flamed orange peel. A flavor I haven't found anywhere else.
Jon Doe: I love this bakery. They have both sweet and savory offerings and their lemon bars have something in them that just dances on your tongue. Almost like a very mild pop rocks sensation. Its delightful.l!
Paul Williams: This was a surprisingly quiet place on a Monday morning. The selection of baked delicacies was phenomenal. The vanilla late was OK. A little too sweet. This was a wonderful place to hang out for conversation and a snack!
Kasia Firlej: Delicious coffee and croissant with a nice variety of donuts. Very friendly service.
Jenna Wertman: I love the pastries here, especially the cinnamon sugar croissant. There’s a monte Cristo on the menu right now that is delicious! The Golden Milk is a super good, zippy ginger drink.
Hannah Love: The food was amazing and service was great. The mushroom gravy for the biscuits and gravy was incredible!!
Joanna Dean: Visited on a Sunday. The parking lot is small and shared with another business but I was easily able to find street parking so there wasn't an issue.I was seated almost immediately and greeted by my server shortly after. This is a cozy spot and I love the retro decor.I tried the oat milk ginger latte and it was uniquely delicious. Not too sweet not too overpowering. I also got the miso grits with mushrooms and vegan cinnamon donuts. The grits were amazing and hearty, made me sweat from the heat but were worth the burn. The donut was the perfect amount of sweetness and had a nice fluffy texture. I also tries their drip coffee black and it was a delicious way to end my meal.Upon leaving I decided to grab my family some pastries and was pleasantly surprised at all the vegan options they had for me! I can't wait to go back and try more. I also got my first golden milk latte also didn't disappoint. I drove a little over an hour and it was worth the drive. Will definitely be returning sooner rather than later!
Erin Rossi: The paper products in the restroom alone were memorable….the ginger latte was also very good. Bravo.
Jordan Clark: Great selection, good, drinks and service.
Roberta Carney: Love this place great food and pastries. I go in pretty regularly on Sundays and Wednesdays for togo pastries and lately I have noticed them getting sloppy with the way they put them in a bag. Just dumping my icing donuts 🍩 icing down 👎. Not good! I mean, still taste nice but by the time I get 5 mins down the road home to enjoy said pastries the icing is stuck to the bottom of the bag. It is the small simple thing like this that can make or break a loyal customer.
Christina Hrubey: Love this bakery and coffee shop. We bought some paczki, a king cake, and two coffees. Everything was delicious, but the king cake was definitely the star! We shared with friends and they also loved it.Accessibility: Surface parking with a single step up or a small ramp. There is a vestibule to enter so you'd need someone to open the door for you. It's counter service and seat yourself; the POS and tables are all WC friendly. Some of the chairs are fat-accessible. I did not see the bathrooms. The owner was kind enough to set some paczki aside for me since I am autistic and in person ordering is difficult for me. They use Toast tab as their POS platform so a great accessibility option for neurodivergent folks would be to 1) post your menu and inventory on Toast so we could view before we go to your shop to aid in ordering; or 2) use Toast for pre orders with an arrival time. This would allow folks who struggle with in person ordering (e.g. deaf, mute, autistic, and otherwise disabled) a lot of autonomy in their ordering process. This would be best practice but may require more man power.
kathy zoppi: We stopped after a bike ride and had coffee, tea and pastry.Wonderful attention to detail!
Lindsay Lee Schmidt: We can't get enough of this place! Amazing coffee and lattes, and a delicious assortment of pastries and food that rotate often!
Jessie Browne-Michaels: This is the only brunch I can get my husband to go to - they love the vegan donuts. I love everything else: menu, food, drinks, service, atmosphere. I also enjoy their adjoining restaurant, Strange Bird.
Alex C.: It's a good bread place. Go here.
Bill Landis: I came in pushing a stroller and we received a warm hello smiles I had a hootnany it was delicious and came quickly!! its a 4.5 from me
Gods Pirate: Unique experience and very individualistic. Accommodating also, to where they even let me switch around booths. Warm atmosphere and clean. Thank you.
Dan Dougherty: Awesome coffee, food, and service. Everything was perfect and the staff, beautiful.
Caitlin McElwain: Show up at 810... locked doors... because of the snow we will be opening an hour later. Hmm. OK. No sign on the door. No sorry. I was just driving 60mph on the interstate. I'll go to a different bakery

Confectioneiress Cupcakes & Sweets: what do users think?
Jennifer Boes: My daughter wanted a cakepop from (the S-word coffee place.) I said let's go to that cupcake place and see what they have. Plus, I knew they had sugar-free cupcakes one other time. So ... they didn't have any sugar free cupcakes which was Ok, and I decided to get a cakepop with my daughter. This was the best cakepop that I've ever had. Red velvet with little crystal candies.I'm back checking the hours for another trip. :)
Anna Kelly: We heard about Confectioneiress online, and after seeing great reviews, decided to order for our wedding. We ordered a variety of mini cupcakes, cookie dough shooters, and a small cake for our wedding dessert table. Everything was INCREDIBLE! Our guests raved about the flavors, and we couldn't stop eating our chocolate chip cookie dough cake! We also had great customer service throughout the entire process. The online ordering was super simple, all my questions were answered quickly by phone, and when a family member went to pick up our order day of, she was so impressed by how friendly everyone was. If you're looking for a great bakery with great service and fun desserts, this is the place!

Kendra Dunagan: Wonderful cupcakes!!
Scott Hepburn: 10 years running still the best cupcakes in the area! Cookie dough shooters are amazing as well.
Linnea Bell: I am in love with Confectioneiress. It is a bit pricey, but I promise the cookie dough, the cupcakes, and the macarons are incredible. Unbelievably good. They did the desserts for my mom's wedding and it was beautiful.
Jim Littlejohn: Seriously delicious chocolate. Great cupcake.
Jash Hirani: Nice small local coffee shop, with wonderful bakery, they have an excellent cappuccino, and their old fashioned cappuccino is gold (literally brown gold!!), amazing cake pops, cupcakes and macarons!!
Vickie Grinstead: Arrived at the store at 425pm and it was closed. When they say they were open until 630pm.
Nick Etter: Amazing cakes and cupcakes! Get every birthday cake here, and always love their small bites and quick treats! Love the owners too, and consistently give back to their community!
Manahil Nadeem: I ordered a small cake for my sister's bridal shower. We ordered a vanilla bean mocha cake. The website was the easiest cake ordering process I have ever seen. The cake was amazing, extremely moist and the frosting was the perfect level of sweetness. Amazing customer service.
Tracy Bull: I ordered the white chocolate, raspberry cake for my twins birthday. It was absolutely delicious and beautiful!
Spencer Penrose: Stop in get several different cupcakes they are a sweet surprise for the people you love
Andrew Mac: The staff is always friendly, the coffee wonderful, and their cupcakes and shooters are delicious.
John Flop: Did my daughters 10th birthday with sweets from here, was a success! Amazing place!
Kenzie Broome: I used Confectioneiress for my wedding yesterday and they did an AMAZING job! Personally, I hate cake but it was divine. Everything was so beautiful and elegant that I would recommend using them to anyone for events. We had them make our wedding cake and cupcakes, and I was very pleased with the quality of the desserts especially for the price, as we were on a budget. Thank you to their baker Mica for making out day extra sweet! ;)
Audrey Causa: I ordered mini vanilla cupcakes, almond and raspberry macarons for a baby shower. The online ordering form was quick and convenient. Someone followed up to confirm the details. Both the mini cupcakes and macarons turned out amazingly beautiful and delicious! Numerous guests noted how good they were and asked me where I got them. I will definitely use Confectioneiress for all of my cake needs in the future! Thank you!
Crystal Whited: First timer for breakfast food was great service was fantastic lady's where super nice go check em out you wount regret it

Amelia's: what do users think?
Michelle Rae Hayes: Always Friendly and helpful and delicious
Rachel McCaffrey: Great atmosphere and even better foccacia! It's my go to for hostess gifts and their scones are out of this world.
Ashlee Nemeth: They have the best bread!
Kasia S: Best bakery in 100 mile radius
Jessica McKamey: Yes please
Bubbles4112: Went for pastries & they didn't have that many in terms of kinds. They mostly had cookies so i got cookies & brownies. They have interesting choices so i got 2 of each. Wish I didn't. Not only were they hard as rocks but the cookies & brownies had huge flakes of salt on them. I don't like the taste of salt. So disappointing!
Kris Reed: Love love love it!!!!! Best bear claws and focaccia bread!!! But everything in there looks amazing and always great service!
Twon Is Twon: great quality bread made with fermentation, delectable pastries and cookies (brown butter chocolate chip is my fav). Unique grocery items available like local jersey milk, specialty cheeses and in house made grab and go items. Not a better storefront bakery in town.
laura chaves: Not many baked good options
The MC Airplane: Expensive, rude
E E: Everything here is delicious from the 2$ biscuits to the twice baked almond croissants… u cannot go wrong getting baked goods from here !! If I lived closer , I would come here everyday !
Christina Hrubey: Love their online ordering and curbside pickup. Super helpful for disabled folks or those who are neurodivergent. Products are delicious and their grocery and bulk items are accessible. Favorites include the laminated cinnamon buns, savory city loaf, kouign amann, morning buns, and capicolo twists.
SW K: My third time to Amelia. The croissants are always good. However the Pullman loaf we got today was pretty... mediocre if not awful. It is dry and with thick "crust". Not sure if we expect too much from it. I probably will keep going to Amelia for the croissant but never again the Pullman loaf.
Erin Barr: This place doesn't need my review. It's amazing. The bread and pastry are better than we deserve. This place will be one of the reasons I cry whenever we move from this neighborhood.
Robert Stevens: I discovered Amelia’s on my birthday weekend when I wanted to get a few things that I love from France as I am an avid Francophile and French teacher. I wasn’t disappointed with the baguette and other items I got.Yesterday, I returned for the second time for more and earlier this time for a stronger selection of items. I am currently eating the pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant) and I can say it is taking me to France. As they say in one of my favorite movies, “The Hundred-Foot Journey,” “Food is memories.”Great job! I will be back.
Johnny Guitar: Got a chocolate croissant and it changed my life
Amy Shater: Wonderful little artisanal bakery — L.O.V.E. the Ribbon Loaf which is a small 3x5-ish inch soft flaky croissant-like sourdough loaf with a cranberry compote center, sheer lemony icing glaze, & garnished with dried cranberries & a thyme sprig — a quintessential holiday culinary masterpiece that tastes as divine as it looks!! Perfect for brunch (everyone wanted their own loaf!) or to wrap up for holiday gift-giving. The Morning Bun is also delicious – this one is more of a rustic creation with a schmear of thick icing on the top and a lemony sticky bun base. Amelia’s Virginia Street location is my absolute favorite – tiny, but surprisingly robust in specialty food offerings. It reminds me of the quaint specialty stores of the 80s, like Barefoot Contessa and others, where one can find curated delicacies for serving and cooking. This is an absolute win for Indianapolis & I’m so glad I found you – YAY!! p.s. the customer service is phenomenal, as well - an all-around home run!!
kyle west: Delicious 😋 baked bread and pastries 🍰. Welcoming staff. Highly recommend 👌
Loving Life: this place baking is some of the best in Indianapolis. The flavors they produce are things I have never experienced before
Halle Choi: I had a really incredible savory danish here I think the filling was some type of Carmelized onion and white bean~ sooooo good!
Ghadeer AlMuhaisen: One of the best bakeries in indy!My favorite are croissants, pecan cookies, cinnamon rolls, semolina loaf, also this apple brioche tart is amazing. Kind of prefer their dessert more than savory pastries.. I recommend going there as early as u can coz many options will be sold out in the afternoon.

The Batter Bowl: what do users think?
Carolyn DeCamp: Great brownies
Amber Chapman: I can’t say enough wonderful things about this bakery! I was referred there by a trusted friend with high expectations so I already knew they would be good, but they exceeded that even! They took me in short notice, made the most ADORABLE corgi cake I’ve ever seen, and charged me a price so low I couldn’t believe it. It was the perfect size for our large crowd and I heard many oohs and ahhs over the taste. I have entered Sheba into my phone and have a baker for life!

Isabella Carmichael: Help with an event for Waverly 6th grade. Super yummy brownies!
Emily Firmenich: Absolutely phenomenal cake! We had some issues getting the results from our genetic tests to find out the gender of our baby; The Batter Bowl was able to accommodate us with less than 48 hours notice so we could do our gender reveal on Mother’s Day. The cake was delicious and the prettiest blue color. Definitely deserving of at least 5 stars for the cake and customer service!
Gino Sgro: This it our favorite place for Carrot cake! I have enjoyed everything I have had from here. You will be very happy you stopped in.
Annette Mccreary: I can't say enough good things about Sheba or her business! We were needing two cakes for my granddaughter's birthday on Easter weekend. We called in the middle of the week, which was very late to say the least, but Sheba was so incredibly nice and fit us in for a Saturday pick up. The cakes were gorgeous and tasted incredible! This was our first time patronizing The Batter Bowl and it will not be our last. Thank you so much for your hard work making these beautiful cakes and for your sweet attitude.
Amber: The owner is an extremely sweet person. They made a large scale order of 2300 cake balls for our company. The cake balls were so moist and delicious! All of our employees loved them!

Stacey Parsley: First time ever going to this place everyone was super friendly and helpful all the cupcakes are super good but the Reese peanut butter was amazing best I’ve ever had will definitely be going back
Emily Rainey: Best cake ever had ! The owner made a cake for my nephew's 5th birthday, the design was perfect. Had a very excited little boy when he seen the monster truck mud pit cake .
Tessa Russell: We are just NEVER disappointed with The Batter Bowl and Sheba. Whenever we get cakes from her, we always have tons of party goers asking where we got the cake. We just recently got a full sheet cake for my son's 8th birthday and it was Snickerdoodle flavor. Everyone was IN LOVE. Don't make the mistake of getting your cake elsewhere.
Ryan Deckard: The Batter Bowl is by far my favorite bakery in the area. The cakes the brownies the everything are amazing. They will always go out of their way to help you with custom orders. Give it a shot, you'll be glad you did.
Haylee Wiley: Amazing! I was in need of a cake short notice and she helped me out and made the most amazing cake. From now on I will get all cakes from here!
