Sprouts Cooking School: what do users think?
Jefa Sheehan: Clean and safe environment with classes that I feel are geared towards kids that have very little to no experience in the kitchen. Both of our kids enjoyed their classes and camp for the most part but said they wished the classes would have been more in depth or that they would have been allowed to do more. We probably won't use them in the future because I do feel that the cost is a bit much given the skills and recipes covered, but if you're someone that doesn't cook at home or let your kids help you cook, this is a good way to get them some exposure. Staff is always very friendly and helpful.
stephanie schell: Our nine year daughter loves Sprouts Cooking School! We live on the Southside and make the trip North for her to spend a few hours baking & cooking with other kids. Tonight’s class was a hit, a baking competition.
Joe Pople: Sprouts is great for families and even little kids. We did a summer dessert class and it was really awesome.
Stephen Groce: Cool fun for the kids. Friendly, clean, professional for kids and adults!
Angela McClung: Most enterprising place to work! So much positive energy!!!

Saffron Cafe: what do users think?
Daniel Stephens: The most intimate dining experience I could ever imagine. I wish I ate slower when I was there because it really deserves to be enjoyed to the fullest c:
Staci Wright-Adams: They never answer the phone to place an order. Tonight is the 2nd time we've tried to call and place an order. No one ever answers.
Mike Rittenhouse: Canceled my doordash order 30 minutes after I placed it with no excuse. My dasher was already there to pick it up.Now I have to order from somewhere else and wait for that to be prepared and delivered.
Lori Rencher: Great food, great atmosphere!
Abdelhamid Azzaz: I went there with a big group of family and friends. We were excited to try the Moroccan food. I ordered couscous with vegetables and braised chicken. The food took sometime to make it to the table, and then the waiter started bringing it.The couscous and the vegetables were very flavorful and delicious, but the chicken was grilled not braised as described in the menu, and there were only 3 small cubes of grilled chicken on the plate!!! I was a little disappointed in this! My wife got the basil coconut pasta with shrimp, which also came with 3 shrimps and it was overly sweet!!!The decor is nice and authentic, but the food experience was not 100% authentic or impressive!Coming to the prices, I think they are overpriced (about $23 for some 3 cubes of grilled chicken and some couscous with vegetables) and we had a 20% gratuity added to our ticket!
Jacky Cook: I wish I could give this zero stars. The service was horrible. Server acted like I was an inconvenience. I was ordering and he walked away before I could order my drink. Decided just to drink water. Water was warm so I asked for ice. Instead I got another glass of warm water. Food was very bland and not worth the price. I could have done a better job preparing at home. Finally had to get up and find some salt because the entire tme I was there the server never came back to see if I needed anything. It wasn't because he was busy. I was the only one in there. When he brought my check he didn't say anything. Not even a "thank you". I gave exact amount and left. First time in my life I have ever refused to leave a tip. I had a rare opportunity to enjoy a nice meal out and I ended up wasting it on this.
Joe M: Food was good but the service was absolutely the worst I have EVER experienced in any restaurant anywhere. We asked for water twice and never refilled again. He forgot our teas and then charged us for them. There's only 1 guy taking orders, serving good and bussing / cleaning tables. He's trying. I sincerely doubt we'll ever return.
INDYASPHALT24: We were paving a parking lot adjacent to this restaurant. I ordered chicken pita & red potatoes for lunch. It was out of this world!! Excellent food & service. Will definitely come here to eat again!!
Jordan P: I'm really not sure where all these good reviews are coming from. The service was extremely slow, and the food was seriously overpriced considering the complete lack of flavor.
Aaron M: Delicious! All of it!
Kylie Lockett: Super cute restaurant and such a great experience! I would highly recommend to come here. The flavors of the food are incredible and make such a fun environment to get out of the norm of American food, if you are looking for something like that. It’s a small restaurant so seating is very limited and it’s hard to get in sometimes from what I hear, but if you can get in it’s definitely worth it. It’s on the pricier end of the spectrum for a restaurant as well, but again it’s worth it in my opinion.
Khatai Aliyev: This was our first visit today. I cant imagine such a restourant. No satisfactory service. Did not like foods at all.
Frank N: Excellent food but nonexistent wait staff. He did not have the basics of being a waiter like bringing out waters. He obviously barely understood English which meant delayed drinks and wrong order for some items.
Jennifer Pruett: So I’m going to tell you about an unusual adventure I had a few evenings ago. I decided to check another restaurant off the ever growing google maps list. I’ve been trying to hit up the Saffron Cafe but my schedule never really matched up to when they were open. I headed there and was excited to try out the Moroccan food.I found a place to park (paid parking) behind the restaurant. I went inside and a voice called out from the kitchen to sit wherever I liked. There was only one other table inside and one on the patio so I chose a round table. Thought that would be able to accommodate the food I’d order. After I was seated the waitress came out and asked if there was “just one?” Let me just say please don’t say this to someone who is dining alone. It doesn’t bother me but it takes a lot of courage for some people to eat by themselves. This makes them feel bad. I read an article a few years ago about it and I’ve never said “just one” again. After she handed me the menu a gentleman came into the restaurant. He sat down at a table nearby so I invited him to join me. Surprisingly he came over and sat down. We ordered and I chose the saffron mussels appetizer and the lamb tangine. My “date” ordered Chef Sentissi’s Traditional Lamb M’Rosia and a house salad. My mussels showed up and I offered to share. The waitress brought out a small appetizer plate. There was One pound of fresh steamed mussels prepared in a rich & creamy saffron sauce with garlic & sweet basil served with warm bread for dipping. They had a sort of sweet flavor but delicious none the less. Our meal showed up shortly after. I was excited to try a tangine. The one I picked had lamb leg, peas and artichoke hearts in a rich saffron, garlic, and ginger sauce garnished with pickled lemon. Honestly I was a little underwhelmed. Lamb was tender. Sauce was lacking flavor. It was expecting it to be super flavorful. I shared with my guest. His entree was enormous and he let me taste it too. The couscous and vegetables were very good but the star was the leg of lamb. Here is the description from the menu: A 16 ounce bone-in New Zealand lamb shank slow-roasted for 5 hours in a rich & hearty vegetable purée sauce of onions, potatoes, carrots & garlic prepared with the sweet flavors of honey, nutmeg, & cinnamon along with the deeper flavors of ginger & clove - all balanced with lots of saffron & just a touch of cayenne...Sweet & spicy perfection! It was a touch spicy but overall had an amazing flavor. I was jealous I didn’t order it! We ate and had some awesome conversations about traveling and food. I tried something out to my comfort zone and it turned out to be great. I learned so much about someone new and enjoyed myself. Can’t wait to do it again soon. Try something new and invite a stranger to join you for a meal.I’ll be back to try something else on the menu. I want to get a dish that floors me. Until my next meal…grab your forks and get out and eat and let me know where.
Reda ELKHOUDDARI: Yummy delicious food very authentic, parking was hard and construction on road and private parking space made it difficult to locate the restaurant.
Angie F: The beautiful exterior murals were marred by an unkept enclosed patio. The floor and tables needed attention; some window panels were slashed and so rain-spotted it was difficult to see through them. While the interior ambiance was warm and colorful, fixtures and surfaces needed dusting. We were greeted with a smile and promptly seated. Thereafter, service was painfully slow--even though the dining room was relatively empty during most of our visit. Almond Chicken Tangine was piping hot, but relatively bland and overwhelmed by nearly 3/4 cup of raisins. The divinely-scented Lamb Honey Tangine was well-cooked but cloyingly sweet; further, there was little flesh on the bone. We split Tiramisu for dessert--the best part of our meal, but an unexpectedly small portion given the nearly $9 price. Having read impressive reviews, we were somewhat disappointed with the value of our meal. We are uncertain we will return.
N G: Came here for hubby's birthday with friends. Food was fantastic, atmosphere was amazing. Waitress and cook are AWESOME! Thank you guys for being awesome, will come back. :)
Ewelina Mrozinska: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No Takeout: YesMore
Devin Peterson: FOOD POISONING !! I ordered food recently including a moroccan plate and italian food. The italian food had an after-taste that tasted like laundry soap. I couldn't eat very much of it because it tasted so odd. That night I woke up moaning and my chest had severe pain in my heart. I was looking for an urgent care that was open at 3am. The pain finally went away after using the bathroom to pass the food. This place serves ROTTEN FOOD !!
Caleb Drake: Context:We visited Saffron for an intimate, celebratory date night. This was my fourth visit and my wife's first.Food:As always, the food was superb w/ generous portions. Unique spice blends create an aromatic and flavorful experience. Our wines: the Moroccan Sauvignon Blanc & French Pinot Noir were also very nice.Service:The servers were polite, but we got really weird, awkward vibes from them the whole time that made us uneasy. It took ~15min to get drinks, ~40 min to get our appetizer and ~55min to get our entrees. We were getting hangry and parched by the time we got our foodEnvironment:Dining room is intimate feel with quaint decor and Moroccan ephemera. The colorful hanging lights are my favorite element of the space. There is also an enclosed patio open seasonally. The space was getting a tad smoky from the kitchen by the end of our visit. As someone sensitive to smoke/fumes, I was getting a headache by the end of our visit.Overall:The phenomenal food and intimacy of Saffron will bring us back for another attempt; however, service quality will be the determining factor of our further patronage.
Adam Winterbauer: Maybe my expectations were off, I thought the food would be spicier, being a Moroccan place, more aromatic... what I got was basically a lamb stew that I probably could have done at home. That being said, it wasn't bad. Maybe they tone it down for the Midwestern palate? I don't know. The mussels with the creamy saffron sauce were satisfying.

Weber Grill Restaurant: what do users think?
Andrew Cook: Amazing NY strip! Definitely coming back.
C Deo: Always our go to restaurant while in Indy. Great steaks and good drinks. Can’t go wrong with any of the the steaks, they’re all excellent. Make sure to ask for Tony for your server. He knows his stuff. One of those rare servers who intuitively knows what you want before you ask for it. He’ll steer you in the right direction and wants to make sure you enjoy your meal. If you’re a bourbon drinker try the vintage old fashion. They infuse the bourbon with a smoke flavor. Excellent drink!

Brandon Fisher (Brandon Fisher): The highlight to my experience was the server. SHE WAS AWESOME! But, the kitchen needs to follow directions when comes to allergy concerns. Sent the steak back got a piece of rubber and still had a reaction when my skin broke out.Expensive high end image without the follow through! I went to a Weber grill in Chicago 20+ years ago and haven’t seen one since. I was excited for this and GREATLY underwhelmed. Even the manager gave me the impression he was irritated by my requests which were essential needs.Dietary restrictions: Was not followed

josue leal: Seems as tho the beer can chicken is a problem, which they acknowledged here in reviews but tonight 4/4/23…seems as we had the same problem as the other reviewers from months back. So maybe they don’t respect their customers opinion? Meal portions were underperforming as well! Burger seemed to be good tho according to our friend! One of the best she’s ever had!
Courtney Stowers: I had a large party for a birthday and was extremely pleased with the atmosphere, waiter and food. First time coming and will definitely be back.

Dana Hood: Tried to go here for lunch today. Walked into a near-empty restaurant at 12:30 in the afternoon. There were 8 or so people waiting to be seated when I walked in, and I was told it would be a 20 min wait for just a table for 2. Katsumi's Teaching Kitchen: what do users think?
MONIKA G: We were looking for an alternative event for a team building / get-to-know-each-other event and found Katsumi’s Teaching Kitchen online.  We had such a wonderful time and so much laughter!  The Summer rolls and California rolls, Miso soup, and cake were delicious, and we were taught all about how the quality of rice and its preparation lays the foundation for really good sushi. We also learned how to create a wonderful Umami flavor in our Miso soup.Mori also taught us about Japanese cuisine and culture but most of all, we had an absolute blast that evening and I cannot remember when the last time was that I laughed this hard and for so long.Thank you, Mori, for the super fun evening!
Delaney Ryder: Very educational! We learned about ingredients, cooking, culture, etiquette, and more! Everything we made was super tasty, especially the rice and the cake. Mori is very knowledgeable. Would absolutely recommend for anyone interested in learning about Japanese cooking or is enthusiastic about Japanese culture.
Meredith Sharp: My husband and I love Japanese food so I was looking for a Sushi making class for Valentine's Day. And I'm so glad I found Mori and Katsumi's Teaching Kitchen online because it truly was a wonderful experience. Mori is absolutely hilarious and had us laughing the entire evening. She also shared with us her wealth of knowledge and we learned so much about Japanese cuisine and culture. The food we learned to make was delicious - the type of rice and method of preparation really makes a difference in the taste and texture of sushi. We especially liked learning how to make spring rolls with peanut sauce - it was surprisingly easy! This weekend we plan to visit the Japanese mart in Castleton to buy items to make our own sushi at home. Thank you Mori for the guidance and an exciting evening of Japanese cooking!
Aaron Vaillancourt: My wife and I recently attended this class and we had a wonderful time. We wanted to learn how to prepare and roll sushi (which we did), but also learned how to make spring rolls, miso soup, a dessert, and even learned a bit about chopstick etiquette as well as some general history. Mori was delightful and humorous. We certainly plan on coming back for another class.
Tracy Sullivan: My daughter and I attend the intro to sushi making class a couple of weeks ago. It was so much fun! Mori was informative and a great host. We made the same recipes at home last weekend. Yum! I would highly recommend this experience.
Grant Rogers: I gifted the class for my girlfriend for Christmas. It turned into a perfect date night. We had so much fun making the food. The instructor was knowledgeable and relaxed the class with her easy going personality. I would recommend this place for anyone interested in Japanese food.
Alexyss Jackson: Our experience was truly beautiful— Mori is kind & funny, making the class relaxed and comfortable. We had wonderful conversations the entire time! We will definitely be going again sometime :)
Rachel Estridge: My father always wanted to learn to make sushi so we attended the Intro to Sushi class and we were blown away! Mori not only gives you the skills and experience but she also provides extensive information, history, and context of the supplies and ingredients. As a retired lieutenant colonel of USMC, my father has quite the poker face. But on the way home he expressed how much he truly enjoyed this class! He’s excited to visit the Asian markets Mori recommended so he can have his own sushi night at home :) Couldn’t recommend this class more!
Virginia Skye: Mori was a blast and such a great teacher. Will be coming back for the ramen class!
Kelsey: Everything was delicious and Mori was a fantastic (and hilarious) teacher. The class is super hands on, but Mori does a great job at breaking things down so you feel confident.I definitely recommend taking a class if you’re looking to up your home cooking game or if you just want a fun afternoon with killer food.
Alicia Tucker: I absolutely loved this sushi class!!!! Mori is an incredible Japanese Cooking Class Teacher. I am hiring her again for catering and personal chef services as well. The Fresh ingredients and Authentic Japanese Cooking secrets make Katsumi's a local destination treasure! I Highly recommend learning from or hiring Chef Mori.
Light Matter Promotions: Katsumi's Teaching Kitchen catered an event for us but they also offer private cooking classes, personal chef services and team building classes. We were so impressed with the high quality ingredients and the difference in authentic Japanese Cuisine. We highly recommend Mori and Katsumi's Teaching Kitchen in Beech Grove, Indiana.
Tim Hughes: Had a blast. It felt like having your quirky aunt teaching you some recipes. You really need some basic cooking knowledge for the street food class. If you can make pancakes and stir-frys you'll be fine.
Z C: Mori is charming, hilarious, and a good teacher. The food was excellent and we were taught everything we needed to prepare this food at home.
Rachel McFadden: So fun and so delicious! We had a great time learning about Japanese cuisine and culture while we made spring rolls, sushi, miso soup, and cake! Lots of laughs and full bellies!
Mary Lajiness (Mary L): We really enjoyed the Ramen Noodle class! Mori is a delightful and entertaining teacher, and in addition to letting us do everything ourselves, she provided all the information we needed to duplicate our creations at home. The food we prepared was delicious!
Stephanie Haskett: Wonderful lesson and would highly recommend, I took the Ramen class and learned so much! As part of the class we learned potstickers, as well as a steam cake dessert, all the steps were explained clearly and easily. Recipes that I had thought of as overwhelming and hard, were broken down and made easy.I'm super excited about cooking the recipes I learned for my anime loving family!
Maria Hannah: So much fun! We loved our experience - this really is a gift that keeps on giving ❤️🍣❤️Pros:•Fun (teacher is humorous)•User friendly step-by-step process•Detailed•Explains local stores and allows photos for what to buy so you can take what you learned homeRoom for Improvement:•Nothing! Awesome experienceWorth the trip and will be talking about this to others 🙂
Jacki Hoffman: Purchased a class for the family for Christmas. We had two members that were coming in town from New Mexico the week between Christmas and New Years and she was very accommodating and allowed us to schedule a class during that week. We had a great time and learned a lot in the beginners Sushi class. Kids indicated they would like to do another class in the future…maybe ramen noodle course. I would highly recommend!
Corey Ward: Great time with the wife learning how to make Japanese food and learning about the ingredients and culture.
Danielle Fuller: We had a great time for my daughter's 10th birthday. Mori was so patient with our 9 kiddos and 3 adults. We underestimated how much time we needed and Mori completely accommodated despite our distracted kiddos. Give yourself time so she doesn't have to rush. Otherwise this outing was perfect!

D Logan: Great service staff, great food... Superb menu and outstanding foid prep/presentation!
jayne hoadley: Always a beautiful experience!
Jamie Steiner: We came here for my husband’s birthday. The view of the city is amazing. The food was good and our waiter Gerard was great! The real service came at the end. They told us that the credit card machine was down and asked if it was ok to pay in cash. We literally had $0 in cash. He said happy birthday and that it would be covered. We offered to go to Chase to get cash to cover the meal or to at least give a tip. The manager’s response was about as good as it could get, “We always want you to have a great experience here. You going to Chase and coming back to the 13th floor to pay or to give a tip isn’t the experience we want you to have.”We planned on coming back regardless, but this experience will definitely bring us back! Excellent customer-first service!
Ann “AJ” Johnson: Great food, great company, great service, great view!!
Stacy Willis: Wonderful experience with a beautiful view.
Gerald Edward Stites Jr.: Love this place
John Kurton: Wow what a great find. The food was fabulous and well presented by the students of Ivy tech. Excellent quality food and beautifully prepared. The duck rillette was really tasty. The bread basket contained the highlight of the evening for me. A wonderful hazelnut and fig bread served with awesome herby garlic butter. It is not often the bread is the star turn especially alongside all the other tasty treats. The chef was kind and sent us home with a loaf to enjoy later.
Stacey Spencer: Love to try new cuisines here. Pleasant atmosphere and great view of city skyline.
Cathy Willman: I loved everything about this place, it was delicious food, a lovely ambience, and the staff, though learning, did a wonderful job taking care of us, and fed us well. I'll be back!
A Troutman: This was our 2nd time spending Valentine's Day dinner at Courses. My husband and I both agree we are going to make it out yearly Valentine's Day tradition. The students and professors do a wonderful job and the good is always extremely interesting. We have been stunned by some of the flavor that comes out of that kitchen.Cheers to Courses.~ A&J Troutman
Karen Burch: Amazing array of delicious Mediterrean food, personable servers and other personnel. Great experience!
Larry Hearn: Great place and good food
Rama M: The food was good
Garnet Vaughan: Lovely evening. Awrsome view of the city skyline. Great service. Delicious food ... curried pumpkin soup, smoked salmon with masala sauce... yumm.Affordable at $25/pp and the monies help provide scholarships for Ivy Tech Hospitality students.
Kayli Cole: The food was fun and what a great opportunity for students to learn how the restaurant world works! The only thing I had an issue with was the atmosphere. It was freezing cold in the restaurant and is outdated. The views, however, were amazing.
Lexi Gillium: Amazing food!! We went on a world theme night (Thursdays) and it was Middle Eastern. I typically don't go for Middle Eastern because it is lacking in flavor or is overwhelming. The dishes tasted authentic and amazing. A favorite date spot for us now. However, the stafd were very meek and didn't seem to know what to do. They seem scrambled and disorganized. Still a new favorite though!
