Immortal Beloved: This is by far the worst and most grotesque motel i ever been. I was just gonna stay here for 6 hrs until my greyhound left. The guy on the phone got me a room and early check in around 12-1pm. I went to the room and it had no lock on the door, bugs everywhere, see so bad, the ac unit was broke and stuck on 78, the bathroom was gross, the bed was broken in half and had zero support. I couldn’t stay here. I immediately went back to get a refund and cancel my stay. It has been a week and they have not refunded me. Save yourself time, a headache , pay an extra $20 and go somewhere else.
Richard Siri: BEWARE if you book online! I stayed here for 4 weeks and just realized they were double charging me on about 50% of my bookings. After calling corporate office I was given a refund of 1 night ($42) and they had double charged me for $150. Ashleigh Henderson: I mean for the price you can’t beat it. It is a very old motel so we knew what was expected. I have been around the area long enough to know this place has had a few different names and owners. So don’t book this place if your looking for more then a hot shower and a place to sleep for the night. But other then that for the price it doesn’t get any better then this. The front desk was friendly the rooms had hot water and cable. My husband and I were able to just be together have a hot shower drink a little and watch some tv and get a good night sleep till the morning. Food all around stores and gas stations. If that’s the kind of night your having then hey why not.. it’s worth the money you spend. Peace of quite and your safe for the most part police were everywhere

Curtis Neason: I could not imagine how a motel could get fewer than 2 stars, but I soon found out. I was in need of a place to stay with my kids for a busy football weekend, so I confirmed this room almost 4 months in advance. Literally, the Monday before the stay, I received an email that my reservation was canceled. I tried calling customer support, and their automated system simply confirmed what I already knew. It further explained that I could not speak to someone live, but there would be some way to chat which never materialized. I have been traveling extensively for over 30 years, and I have never experienced such poor and shady service. Now, I have no place to stay and may have no way to make our official college tour because of it. Bottom line: even if you are desperate for a place to stay, this place is not worth even taking a chance.
Thad: THIS WAS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED. The rooms were not cleaned at all. Feces in the toilet and couldn’t even sleep in the bed. Bed bugs everywhere and there were white stains under the sheets. You can infer what that means. Very sketchy people too. Cops came while I was there investigating a few creepy men about a missing girl. DO NOT GO HERE!

TAYLOR ISLEY: If i could select zero stars i would. First of all i got there and they told me my reservation was cancelled due to overbooking but i never received any notification. However, the person at the front desk said they had a room with a full size bed and told me to go look at it and see if it’ll work for us. On the way to the room i noticed there was a car on cinder blocks right in front of the room so that was a red flag. Then when i opened the door the real horror began. As soon as i opened the door it smelt musty and like cigarette smoke. I turned on the light and the first thing i noticed was the amount of cockroach’s crawling all over the walls. There was also ants everywhere. The bathroom floor was one of the grossest things I’ve ever seen and had black mold all over. And the walls had holes all over and wires hanging out. I walked out and refused to even stay at the property. This was by far the grossest place I’ve ever stepped foot in. Do not stay here. Sleep in your car if there’s no other available rooms in the area.

It is worse than a dump and it is in Roseland, Indiana so the campus is five minutes from here!Whoever owns this trash heap clearly does not care about having a reputation. If you want to have a budget motel, that is fine but have some dignity about how you present your business!The fire alarm was removed and wires are sticking out of the wall. (Code enforcement violation!)I closed the door when I walked in. The door has not even been cleaned and looks like someone who played in the mud has come in and out of the door repeatedly. If you have white walls, you need to wash them after every occupant. Seriously wash the walls each time.If they decided to make this place a homeless shelter,I imagine people who are sleeping in the street would likely say "No thanks. I will stay in the gutter here. It seems cleaner."

Julie Jules VanDurmen: Worst place ever stayed. The sign was painted over saying "Way Inn" but i was looking for OYO? I rhought itvwas the wrong place. The Tv said no signal. One lil thin bath towel and for my face it was a little one, thin , ripped and had a stain. So much for a morning shower. The shower curtain was a nasty white one , no longer white.I Didn't know when check out time was couldn't call the front desk because no phone in the room. I had to keep putting the handle back on the inside to open the door. kind of dangerous if it was a fire. No night stand between the beds for things I need at night. Toilet was dirty around bottom. Wobbled, broke off from floor. Over all nightmare. Went to bed and couldn't wait to check out in the morning. I was so disappointed because it was supposed to be a get away
Chris: Booked this hotel 3 month before a concert. Confirmed reservation a month before concert. 2 days before concert they sent an email saying that they canceled my reservation because of unforeseen circumstances. I checked back on their website and they still were booking rooms for the night of my concert. The rate was just 3x higher. They legit canceled my reservation because i was proactive and got a decent rate, and they realized they could make more money canceling my reservation and taking others. This hotel is obviously a dirty cheap hotel, but the way they run business is trash and sketchy too. Don’t book here if you want to actually have a room available for you.

Joe Ziskovsky: I've stayed at youth hostiles that are better kept. The room door barely opened. This is a run down former "Roadway Inn" travel lodge style hotel. The pool is closed and looks like a sewage treatment plant. the room, I swear we had bedbugs; felt little bites all night...must smell in the room and the towels...not sure they were washed in clean water or dirty water. They smelled clean, but they were not *white*.We were between a rock and a hard place on Memorial Day weekend when our original hotel in town oversold...this was the only place with rooms...we might have been better off sleeping in the car.I've stayed in India at this chain...it is not a *hilton* nor a *marriot* nor should one expect that, but even for the OYO brand, this location did them a disservice...and at nearly $100 per night after taxes and fees...yeah...will not be returning...EVER!

Chris M: Paid my $100 incidental payment in cash. And stayed there one night from 10/13/22 to 10/14/22. I never write these reviews EVER but what the black heavy set women that worked in the morning of 10/14/22 did was basically theft. I told the night lady the room Smelled like smoke and she said it would be alright, that most of the rooms do and it's fine. While checking out the morning lady said she's not giving my CASH DEPOSIT back cause the room Smelled like smoke. I explained I'm a non-smoker and what the nigh/ lady told me but she was rude and not listening to me at all. Heard that if you pay cash as a deposit they will make up reasons to keep it and split it with theppl who clean the room. They did not have me sign anything saying they were keeping my $100. I I will will getting ahold of corporate about this cause I've been traveling for work for 9 years and never had any problems like this. The front desk lady basically stole my deposit and if I have to get a lawer for this. That's what I will do. Whatch out ppl when pay cash for a the deposit. Heard that black lady that worked front desk on 10/14/22 has been accused quite a few times of the same thing before. When u get paid $10-14 an hour, stealing that $100 deposit I'm sure helps with your bills
Michael Anderl: I had low expectations based on the price but there was blood on the carpet in our room (see pictures) and drunks in the lobby on a Tuesday night. When checking in, the receptionist ignored us for several minutes before acknowledging us.When I inquired about a refund or an additional discount due to the blood on the carpet, I was told that reservations are nonrefundable but a manager would be contacting me shortly. That never happened.This was a horrible experience from start to finish and I'd highly recommend staying anywhere else.

E. Marie: This is the dirtiest hotel I’ve stayed in. I’m not one to make complaints but once checking in we went to our room we found brown poop splatters on the wall behind the toilet, a dirty used wash cloth hanging in the shower, the taps looked very dirty like they hadn’t even been wiped and there was literally a booger on the wall.We unfolded the pull out couch and there were candy wrappers in it!!Do not waste your money here, stay at any other hotel!!Even after switching rooms there were the exact same issues with the next room it was unbelievable

Praying family: Left a laptop on the side of the bed called to let them know first thing the guy did at the front desk was act guilty by saying housekeeping would not have it and that a supervisor checks after them key word after them then he said somebody else is in the room and they cant check now. So if all these ppl checked after we left and i left it by the bed and if they changed the bed sheets and wiped down the furniture they would have it. Its best to spend them extra dollars on a hotel cause my laptop is putting me behind not having it. he also said I have to wait til monday. So im going to give them the benefit of a doubt and wait til Monday for them to tell me housekeeping found it.I would like to give an update that I was called by management the same day and was told the laptop was put away in a lock box and staff wasn't aware. I definitely appreciate the honesty cause that is hard to come by.

capps ezekial: Their rooms were decent enough for me to stay but the service was just horrible. The people in there saying curse words around children that aren't theirs. And they did not offer us room service when we walked in or when getting the room. The food they had in the morning was not prepared good they had really good waffles but overall not a good experience.

My children swam for about 15 minutes and were so cold they told me they were done. The hot tub wasnt working. The pool and hot tub were why we went. That was a let down. Marky: Very nice staff. Professional and efficient! The rooms are spacious and clean. I chose this motel bc their website indicated there was a steam room and sauna and I called to verify they were working. It turns out there’s no steam room and the sauna was barely warm and certainly not hot. I paid a premium to stay there for those amenities so I was disappointed.

Dhani “Prax” Powell: Really enjoyed staying at the Ivy Court Inn & Suites. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable (and spacious!), breakfast had a variety of options, and there were great places to just sit and relax whenever we were around the hotel. The rocking chairs on the porch that looked out at the intersection of Angela Blvd and Twyckenham Dr. gave a really nice view to just watch the traffic and enjoy the scenery. I recommend getting a beverage and sitting out there at sunset if you're at the inn around that time. There is a great fitness center, vending machines, and even a laundry room in case you need to do a load while you're there. The mini fridge in the room had a small freezer, which came in handy for the icepacks I keep in my soft-sided cooler. While the inn isn't in the heart of downtown, it's only a couple of minutes away, and being next to Notre Dame offers a great advantage to do a walking tour of the campus. Or, rent a bike from the front desk and bike around!! This is definitely a must-stay location if you're visiting South Bend.

Ira Thor: I was passing through South Bend on a road trip with my son and wow, what a find this was! I'm sure it is super busy during the school year but on a summer weekend, it was perfect. Pleasant surprise to have a suite and be able to stretch out. Quiet, very competitively priced, and safe. Got a good night's sleep. Breakfast was a little lighter than expected and they were out of most food 30 minutes prior to the end of breakfast; that's my only critique. Otherwise, I would stay here again.

anthony cavegn: I live out of state and traveled 7 hours to come here for a work conference. It wasn’t until a week after I arrived home that I realized I left one of my bags in the room. They went above and beyond to make sure my property was kept safe until I could retrieve it. The staff was so kind throughout my stay and the breakfast was absolutely killer. 10/10 recommend. Roger Draft: This outstanding hotel is across the street from Notre Dame and actually appears to be a part of the campus. We were fortunate to be traveling mid week rather than a football weekend, so were able to get a beautiful, well appointed room. From an evening reception with complimentary drinks and appetizers to a comfortable bed, a large screen TV, an exceptionally clean bathroom and a much better than average complimentary cafeteria style breakfast, we felt treated as welcome guests. It is easily accessible to and from US 31 and the Indiana toll road.

The staff is the friendliest I’ve ever seen. Everyone from the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, and even a maintenance person riding up the elevator with me, was very welcoming and friendly. That’s something you just don’t see every day. Also, I stayed on a non-football weekend, and the pricing was surprisingly very reasonable for the quality of hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

kevin knox: Rudest staff and we had a dirty room! Check in wasn’t until 6 and our room still wasn’t available. We viewed the room and returned our keys at the front desk after experiencing the room for one minute and the manager on duty, named Justin, got extremely confrontational with me, a silly immature paper tiger, but extremely rude and unprofessional; we checked into the Embassy Suites next door. The staff at the ES were amazing, kind, and appreciative to have our business. I wouldn’t recommend this particular hotel if you value your dollar. One employee who stood out above the obnoxiously rude help was a young polite dark skinned man named Ryan, he was professional, understanding and recognized how inappropriate the staff was and the engagement that occurred. Ryan needs to be the manager and right quick, for this location is advantageous to Notre Dame but the staff on duty are aloof, inconsiderate , defensive and down right obnoxious. I have never wanted to leave a place so immediately. Save your money and go elsewhere.

He helped set us up with a last minute conference room reservation for a bday party because we were NOT satisfied with our reservation at another hotel. Concourse Travel Group: Hotel is great in a very convenient location. Surrounded by new development just blocks from Notre Dame campus. The hotel is fairly new and the interior is clean and up to date. I would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Good luck to anyone who booked here. Check and confirm your reservations as the Fairfield Marriott in South Bend, IN will not hesitate to rebook your room at a higher price to someone else. What a sham hotel and management. Do not stay here!
Dominic Aquila: One of the worst Fairfield Inn's we stayed in. Hot water was out for a day, just when the temperatures dropped significantly. We stayed for four days and had our room refreshed on the third day even though I requested it on the second day. The day time management is kind of wise-guyish. The breakfast was cold, no hot offerings. I would never stay there again, even though we travel to Notre Dame often.

PK C: If I could give this hotel negative stars, I would. (That would be a first). I had a very late check-in. Parking lot empty. (But I was charged $11 for parking in an open lot) First room the a/c unit spewed a weird smell. So, in my pjs was told at first i I would be charged for another night because I checked in after midnight. Finally after standing in a lobby for 20 minutes in pjs, I got another room. Room has sewer flies and mold.Could not sleep, coughing from mold, I went to "breakfast ". That was microwave Jimmy Dean egg sandwich or muffins.Sorry Marriott, you are across from a beautiful campus and this is the best you can do?
David Hickin: The hotel is understaffed, but the workers were very friendly.The property is not well kept and the cleaning service is challenged. There was overflowing trash in the outdoor bins by the front for both days. There was no soap or shampoo in the shower, and the facial bar is tiny.The ac unit was noisy and inconsistent, which was annoying bc we could hear the people in the next room all night long.All in, no major issues, but enough annoyances such that I cannot recommend.

Stylianos Nikas: Possibly the worst customer service I have ever seen. I booked a room for a business meeting for 5 days. The room was old and the air-conditioning on it was noisy. First day I come back and my door was wide open. The door was problematic and didn't close properly so the cleaning stuff just left it open. Even if the card was given just to secure the booking, as usual with booking.com when payment is handled by the hotel, they proceeded to charge the whole amount of money before I even arrive. Tv was not working, no cleaning for 3 days and finally and worst of all, they still have left a pre-authorization to my card a month after they charged the whole amount. No one answers the messages through booking and the staff in the phone just says it's not their responsibility / they don't know.
