tritonrecordings: I went to Taste of India for the first time on a whim this past summer. I had never had Indian food before, and wanted something totally different that day. I've probably been back fifty times since then, I love it! I've since tried the other well-known Indian restaurant in town as well, but I personally find A Taste of India better...and spicier, which I love. (You can order all menu items mild if you prefer. But it's "hot", sometimes "extra hot" for me!) I'm still new to Indian food and still exploring, but I highly recommend the Chicken Vindaloo and the Curry Chicken. The rasam soup is also very nice on a cold day and if you dine in, cool your mouth down with a cold Taj Mahal beer.
Nikaha Greer: Love it
Carrissa Bruce: I just ate there tonight and it was first time eating Indian food. It was delicious and I love that they use chicken breast instead of thighs! The service was fast and the owner and his family were so kind and wonderful. My son and I will be returning a lot and I already recommended to a friend.
Yogi Nayyar: Doesn’t serve dosa and owner yelled at me that they don’t like it’s my fault.
Betty Gil: Delicious.

Hilton Fort Wayne at the Grand Wayne Convention Center: what do users think?
Arthur Cruz: This hotel is in the top 5 of hotels that I have stayed at. It was immaculately clean with very friendly staff.I have had a variety of different meals at their restaurant, across from the main desk, it delivers great food, fast, and at a great price. The heated pool is nice with plenty of towels, and my daughter had a great time swimming. The pool is just the right depth for me, considering that I can not swim. I believe it was around 5 feet deep or so.The room was very nice and clean. I loved the pressure that was coming out of the shower, it was relaxing. The only negative comment I have to say is when the reservation was made the hotel was informed that we would not be checking in until very late which they said would be fine. The hotel staff then directed us to park across the street in their parking garage and enter via their bridge, which connects to their garage when we arrive. After a very long day at work and a very long drive to Fort Waye that evening, when we walked down the bridge the doors were locked. I wish they would have informed us to enter through the street instead of the garage. But with one quick call to the front desk, security was notified and opened up the door within 10 minutes.I like this place and I will be staying there in the future when I return.
Simply Green: All was great! Thank you for a great stay. I was on the 5th floor and had a really nice view of one of the old churches next door. The folks at the service desk were kind and courteous.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Great value …More
John Mutnansky: This hotel is a classic example of how name brand hotels are relying on their names to survive. I booked my room using their 800 number which consisted of a friendly person but could not speak English. My reservation was wrong. Fortunately because I signed up to a rewards member the hotel decided to "help me out" and found a room. The room was not 100% clean...note the muddy foot prints on the bathroom floor, dirty drinking glass on the sink with a paper cover on it like it was clean, and wrinkled sheets. The remote for the t.v was broke. I still had hopes for a decent dinner and a drink in the spacious lobby and bar. Wow....do these guys think highly of their food and drink. Hyatt is just a fancy name for Super 8.
vernon bogan: Nice Locations and Professional StaffRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
cynthia landrum: First, let me start by saying that Drew was welcoming and professional, a great first impression of the hotel! Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was not pleasant. Our room was not at all clean and we quickly decided to leave the hotel. We've stayed in many Hilton hotels and this was our first negative experience. We will no longer be patronizing Hilton.
Nick Forte: While I really wanted to love this hotel based on the other reviews, I am not sure how they even stayed at the same hotel. I'll start off by saying, I would love to invite the Hilton Executive Leadership team here to stay in our room, and then hear their feedback following their stay...All I can say is, our room did not live up to the Hilton name, and I will leave feeling disappointed to have stayed at this property... and feeling beyond gross and ready for a shower! While the room was dated and showed signs of high use, that cannot excuse the fact that this room wouldn't pass any standard of cleaning at any property, unless you were staying in a Red Light district. Mold on the shower tiles, curtain, and bathtub. Mildew smell. Hair and crumbs throughout the bathroom, especially in the corners. Old wrappers and crumbs all over the room floor. It was clear, no effort to clean occurred. Mirrors were filthy. The kind of cleaning that you feel like they used the same rag to clean 20 rooms with, and just brushed the hair of the sheets from the last occupants... at least that's what you start thinking when you see this kind of dirty...It was the sort of room that if you touch anything, you feel dirty. You cringe when you shower and accidentally touch the curtain or wall. Feel like you need to wash your feet if you accidentally step on the carpet. The office chair had food matted in it. The sheets barely fit the mattress. Dust all over the surfaces if you moved anything. The staff was nice checking in, although I had to wait a good few minutes before being greeted. As far as I could tell, this property really only had its location going for it as I was at the convention center... but that shouldn't be the only reason to charge Hilton Rates, but not deliver Hilton Standards. If you're reading this Hilton Leadership - come give a stay - I'm curious if this would live up to your expectations. Because if so, I'm looking forward to giving Marriot a try!Rooms: dirty dirty dirty - the kind of dirty that makes your skin crawlWalkability: close to everything
AJ Pucka: Look no further, this hotel is top notch! A+Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Courtyard by Marriott Fort Wayne Downtown at Grand Wayne Convention Center: what do users think?
ND Chen: 雞翅好吃!鮭魚好吃!培根通心麵也好吃!
Edward Andrada: We stayed here in 2022 for the Lutheran Basketball Association of America National Basketball Tournament. Parking was a little inconvenient but the hotel was nice and in good proximity to the game venue. There are plenty of restaurants within an easy walk of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kenneth Cormack: The service at this hotel is terrible. I’ve been coming here when it first opened…..now service doesn’t exist. Shame on you!!Rooms: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Bob: Likely will not stay at this location again simply because of the rudeness and unprofessionalism of two front desk associates I worked with tonight. Both associates rudely argued with me over the purpose of needing a receipt for my overpriced (2) $4 water bottles. I paid with a company credit card and obviously needed a receipt. Because I didn’t ask for a receipt before I paid (most businesses ask the customer if they’d like a receipt, not the other way around ), I was told it’s physically impossible to provide. Then, both associates TOLD ME I didn’t need a receipt for the business expense. I DIDN’T REALIZE THEY PERSONALLY APPROVE MY EXPENSE REPORTS?? When I told the associates every expense on my business card needs a receipt, they laughed and said “well don’t yo company know you here? You’re shoulda asked to begin with.” Clearly, the associates here do not understand simple aspects of business travel, even though the hotel markets itself to business and convention travelers. I stay in For Wayne for work often and will be going back to the Hilton next time, where I’ve always received great service.
Derick Dobson: Great stay, great room, parking a bit difficult but what else can you expect in a downtown city centerRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Arpit Jain: Stayed at this hotel during my business trip. Hotel is good with good and spacious rooms. But the staff wasn't friendly and lacked courtesy. Whenever I needed something, staff at reception was not helpful.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Dave Zamora: Poor maintenance and very uncomfortable bed. Wouldn't stay againRooms: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Phyllis Kopp: When I called to reserve a room for a conference in that area in July, (as this is the conference hotel), I asked for a handicap accessible room. I was told I couldn't have one. I tried calling a couple of days later and once again was told I couldn't have a handicap accessible room. This time I was told that I could get one outside of the group's contracted block of rooms, but I would have to pay more. I had to call the corporate offices for Marriott to get a handicap accessible room in our contracted block of rooms.
Ryan Davidson: One of the worst experiences at a marriott property ever. Check in was very abrupt and not very pleasant at all. Room smelled like marijuana at entryway so that was pleasant with 2 young children. Decided to eat on property at conners. Went right at opening at 5pm and im assuming an employee (since she knew everyone working and hugging them etc) was extremely loud and obviously drunk. Was yelling some very inappropriate comments about anatomy parts. Back to room and smell again and noticed there was no sheets pillows etc for pull out sofa. Called front desk...no answer for hours? I mean come on. Sent message via app at 730pm response came at 7am the next day. WHAT? Thats service right there. Since status i asked for a late check out via app at 3pm. Went to room at 3pm all our stuff was bagged up and kicked out. When i asked at front desk they said sorry gold is noon. No im gold for life and currently platinum not that anyone ever asked. Wont be back thats for sure. Congrats on losing a customer. Marriott and i go way back and thats no way to treat people.
Dawn H: This place is terrible! The entire trip was a fiasco. The keys they gave me did not work, got new keys then finding my room was occupied. Then got a new room, but it wasn't registered as being vacant. So, I had people banging on the door that evening and the next morning asking why I was there! I explained what happened and went to the front desk. In the meantime, the toilet was running for hours so I fixed that myself. After speaking to the manager to get this rectified, I checked out the next morning. I then discover on my bill I was charged $250 for a smoking bill. I have never smoked! Now I have to wait 3-5 days for this to be resolved. Absolutely ridiculous, and poor quality for a Marriott Property. I will not be staying there again.
Gabrielle Schmucker: Samuel S. Is the best night concierge I’ve ever met. His customer service and thoughtfulness is extraordinary. Please GIVE HIM A RAISE:
Scott V: In need of a renovation or at the very least a very good carpet cleaner to be hired and let loose on the place.Heater was questionable for actually getting the room to 70°, probably have the same issue with AC on a hot dayStaff was excellent. 3 thumbs up to them.Marriott really needs to fix their late check out system. The room key SHOULD NOT deactivate at noon if you've been given a 4:00p check out.
Brian Neher: Nearby activities: Downtown next to the Embassy, even has a covered walkway to the theater.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Lindsey: My family stayed at the Marriott Courtyard for an event at the Convention Center. While we were gone, our room was broken into and we had many valuable things stolen. We were beyond disappointed with the lack of concern on the part of the hotel. There was no urgency to figure out what happened and they were not proactive in any way. When we provided evidence and asked questions as well as requested action, they were dismissive. It took 2 days and numerous emails to even receive a call from the general manager. We were told that our card entered the room at a certain time in which we were not at the hotel. They are satisfied with that being their response. It is alarming that the only answer is that our card was copied, most likely internally during check in because we had ours on our bodies at all times. The hotel is dismissive but this is absolutely a public safety concern. The ramifications of card copying and entering hotel rooms are really endless. We have filed a police report.
Phil: CHILDREN!!! NOT SAFE!!!Do not stay here as it is not safe!We went to a gymnastics competition from 5pm-9pm across the street. At 6:20pm our room was broken into using a duplicate card matching the card issued to us when checking in. Management dismissive. Laptop, Apple Watch and AirPods were pinging 1.4 miles away. Police report made. Still nothing from Marriott. Informed management of the pinging location. 2 minutes later, pinging stopped. This is not safe for anyone traveling alone, with children or with anything of value. Courtyard by Marriott Fort Wayne refused to pass the lobby camera footage to the police until I told the police that there were cameras.
