Tim: It is an old house in Broad Ripple converted to a bar with a limited menu. It is an omage to the "Last Time of the Small Town Heros", Bobby Plump. It has a lot of sports memorabilia and several big screen TV's tuned to sports channels. The food is standard Indiana bar food. The breaded tenderloin does not disappoint. The burgers those in our group ordered were very tasty. Outdoor seating is available weather permitting.

Dennis Morris: Went here for lunch on my 73rd birthday. My wife and I are tenderloin conneseurs. Have had well over 75 at different restaurants in and around Central Indiana. Plump's is now our number 1!! Huge, perfectly seasoned breading, about 3/8" thick, cooked perfectly, lettuce, tomato and onion 100 percent fresh and crisp, bun toasted and fresh, but no bun could hold this monster of a sandwich. Can't wait to take friends here for lunch. Plus cheapest beer in Broad Ripple.Ambiance is a little sketchy but the food and service is a perfect 10!!!
Jeff Wardell: I generally go to the American Legion post 34 because it's close by and I support my veterans but I also come to Plump's the owner is Jonathan they have a very attentive staff bartenders make excellent drinks at a reasonable price and the food is above par for a hideaway bar on a scale from 1 to 10 I'll give them a 9.5 come check them out you won't be disappointed

Thatās why I canāt understand why the restaurant would skimp on the toppings for $16 (pictured, we had removed a few from the top). Barely any pork and a tablespoon of guac. My party had to literally discuss and divide so as not to be rude and take the few pieces with toppings. Absolutely nothing beneath the top layer. Our meals were enjoyable, but the pulled pork was dry. Overall, Flatwater was nothing special. Itās not on my list to return, but I wouldnāt turn it down if suggested by friends! I didnāt try the seafood as Iām allergic, so no comments on that.

Our server finally came to the table after 10 minutes. Our drinks took another ten minutes. Our server forgot to input our food order. Our food didnāt arrive until 1pm. Had to ask for refills, silverware, condiments, etc. Unfortunately, the customer experience was terrible. The food was good, but there were add on charges for everything.

āAfter 442 days of nothing but carryout and curbside service (and thank you for that) we have reopened for in-person dining! Sure, some things have changed. We are currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays because we're still on the hunt for great staff. We're also currently operating on a first-come, first-served basis (sorry - no reservations, no call-ahead seating, etc.) for dining but hey - we're still here! Things will get back to normal soon. Whatever normal looks like these days.
Patricia and I canāt thank you enough for all the amazing support you've shown us since March 16, 2020 - the day we learned that our business was going to change in so many unimaginable ways. But thanks to you, we made it through and we've now reopened for in-person dining.
We're doing our best to make sure that your experience will hopefully be as stress-free and enjoyable as you remember and have come to expect from us.

Chadwick Robbins: More people need to know about their pizza! I came in for lunch and got "The Pub" pizza and it was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend it. The fish and chips are really good as well. If you're a vegan, like my daughter, you will have plenty of choices. Good service and a quaint atmosphere.
